Abstract

The purpose of this study is to prepare a flipped learning class plan for subjects related to ‘cultivating ecological literacy’ for prospective early childhood teachers using YouTube. The research method was conducted through literature research and survey research. In addition, to review the appropriateness, an Focus Group Interview was conducted on three early childhood education professors. Data analysis used qualitative data analysis methods. The final teaching plan of this study is as follows. First, the main content categories of the 'Ecological Literacy Cultivation' subject are 'Ecological Education Direction', 'Ecological Self-Realization', 'Ecological Life', 'Understanding Ecological Literacy', 'Ecological Sensitivity', 'Ecological Crisis', and 'Ecological Education'. It consisted of ‘education’. Second, 1 to 2 YouTube contents suitable for the educational topic of each session were provided. Third, various individual and group activities were presented for each session. This study is significant in that it helps to encourage active participation of students and reduce the burden on instructors for ecological education.
