Abstract

Development of joint sports action onpsychological features is one of the main tasksfor modern football. Because at present,success in a football team depends not only ona high level of physical, technical and tacticaltraining of players, but also on motivation toachieve high sports results. The aim of theresearch is to establish differences in themotivation for success and motivation in orderto avoid failures in the joint actions of footballplayers 16-17 years. Material and methods.The study was attended by 72 qualifiedfootball players aged 16-17 years of youthfootball Vinnitsa region. Research methods:analysis and generalization of scientific andmethodical literature; questionnaires usingmethods: questionnaire «Motivation tosuccess» and «Motivation to avoid failures»(T.Ehlers); methods of mathematical statistics:N-criterion Kruskal - Wallis; rank correlationof Spirman. Research results and keyconclusions. According to the analysis of thecomparative characteristics of the indicators ofmotivation for success in the joint activity offootball teams, a reliable difference of data wasrecorded. The highest average is recorded in«FC Niva» (17,02±0,96). During suchmotivation, the actions of football players areaimed at achieving positive results, but theirgame evokes positive emotions. According tothe indicators of motivation in order to avoidfailures in the joint activity of football teams, areliable difference was recorded according to«low level» and «middle level». The highestvalues are registered with the football team«Mogilev-Podolsky» (9,75±0,1) and(15,75±0,4), which implies a focus on thesuccess and readiness of players to overcomeproblems arising in their way. The density ofinterconnections for all studied indicators within the range of (rкр =0,794** до 0,901**p≤0,01) (n=72) is also fixed.
