Abstract

This study analyzed the aspects of how Korean medieval literary person of nobility accepted and evaluated China's character ‘Gulwon(屈原)’ and sought to be applicable to current character criticism writing education. There were three main aspects of character acceptance in the Gulwon(屈原) criticism: first, comparison with old characters, second, citation of others' evaluation, and third, urging the formation of a consensus. This can be said to be the principle of character criticism writing, and based on this, a total of six specific goals of character criticism writing education could be presented at the bottom of the current curriculum 'Reading and Writing' achievement standards.
