Abstract

The article develops a mathematical model for planning road freight transportation, which corresponds to the practice of rolling stock functioning in the conditions of the Far North. The formation of the optimal list of standard sizes of the rolling stock is carried out according to the criterion of minimum costs using an iterative optimization method. The limitations of the mathematical model are formulated taking into account the operating conditions, the conditions of the Customers, ensuring the operability of the rolling stock, the technology for performing transportation, the relationship between the operation of the rolling stock and special equipment.
