Abstract
intelligence of futsal players and the selected offensive skills in futsal. The goal of the research is to identify the emotional intelligence Wasit University futsal team. In addition, knowing the relationship between emotional intelligence and some basic skills for Wasit University futsal team players.The researcher assumed that there is a correlation between emotional intelligence team. As for the research methodology, the researcher followed the descriptive method using the correlational method As for the research community and its sample, the research community was identified and they are the players of the Wasit University futsal team participating in the finals of the Iraqi Universities Championship for the academic year 2023-2024, who number (12) players. After conducting the main experiment and transcribing the data into special forms, the researcher processed the data statistically using the SPSS statistical package, and through presenting and discussing the results, the researcher concluded that emotional intelligence is of great importance in performing some basic skills in futsal.
