Abstract

The article deals with issues related to the modern legal regulation of the ORM «inspection of prem-ises, buildings, structures, terrain and vehicles», conducted in a public form. The author analyzes the operational investigative legislation, as well as departmental regulations governing the procedure for conducting the OPM under consideration. The article considers the problem of documenting the results of the OPM under consideration. Taking into account the analysis of law enforcement practice and doctrinal sources, the author makes recommendations concerning the improvement of the legal regulation of the public survey.
