Abstract
The article deals with the issue of the application of project activities in the training of masters for the development of general professional competencies. The author provides data on the results of testing of 1st-year undergraduates of Tambov State University named after G.R. Derzhavin, who participated in a project to create a technology for processing organ-containing waste in an aerobic way, without methane emission, and their colleagues not involved in the project.
