Abstract

The moving factor for positive change and development in the educational system are well-trained and motivated teachers. The aim is to present the possibilities for integrating the students’ language competencies – future primary teachers, in their preparation in methodics in education in natureknowledge with a view to developing professional competences for the realization of cross-curricular connections in the lesson on Homeland Studies, Environment and Man and Nature. It is working on the application of the integrative connections in the lesson regard to: orthoepy; orthography and calligraphy; riddles; fables; tales; poems; story; elaboration and application of didactic procedures – communicative, linguistic and synthetic exercises; selecting texts in the lesson; comparison of objects, phenomena and events; application of confirmed pedagogical practices and various forms of work. The realization of integrative relationships between the disciplines studied by the students helps to increase the competencies and the future effectiveness in their professional realization.
