Организация миссионерского просвещения чувашского населения на примере селений Средние и Новые Алгаши Симбирской епархии в период с 1877 по 1902 г.

Abstract

Цель настоящего исследования — показать, как последовательное применение комплекса миссионерских средств привело к ослаблению влияния татар-магометан на чувашей-язычников и отступников от православной веры. В ходе исследования использовались следующие методы: сравнительно-исторический, причинно-следственный анализ связей между историческими событиями, типологизация исторических явлений, историко-системный анализ, структурно-диахронный анализ исторических процессов и абстрагирование в историческом познании. В итоге данной работы была воссоздана история миссионерского просвещения чувашского народа на примере селений Средние и Новые Алгаши Симбирской епархии за 25-летний период (1877–1902). Изучение опыта организации миссионерского просвещения нерусского населения может оказать помощь миссионерам для практического использования в современных условиях. Авторы статьи полагают, что изложенные в данной статье исторические сведения могут быть отражены в учебных пособиях по истории Симбирской епархии. The purpose of this study is to show how the consistent use of a complex of missionary means has led to the weakening of the influence of Tatar Magomethanes on the Chuvashi-pagan and apostates from the orthodox faith. In the course of the study, the following methods were used: a comparative historical, a causal analysis of the connections between historical events, the typologization of historical phenomena, historical and system analysis, structural- diachronous analysis of historical processes and abstraction in historical knowledge. The overall result of the study was the reconstruction of the history of the organization of missionary education of the Chuvash population on the example of the villages of Sredniye and novye Algashi of the Simbirsk diocese over a 25-year period (1877–1902). Studying the experience of the organization of missionary education of the non-Russian population can help missionaries for practical use in modern conditions. The author of the article believes that using historical information presented in this article is also possible in generalizing studies in textbooks on the history of the Simbirsk diocese.
