In the course of the study, the authors identified the key features of managing the process of employment of young specialists based on the phased development of higher education in China and the possibilities of its long-term cooperation with Russia. Currently, educational reforms are being carried out, models of higher education are being built that correspond to the development trends of modern states. It has been scientifically proven that China and Russia have their own characteristics in addressing the issue of managing the process of employing young specialists. The employment outcomes of Chinese and Russian students may differ in a number of ways, driven by different socio-economic, cultural and educational characteristics. The higher education systems of Russia and China noticeably influence each other, there is a constant scientific exchange, and complex interaction takes place within the framework of pedagogy and the organization of the higher education system. In the countries under review, the strategy for employing young specialists is aimed at improving educational processes in higher educational institutions, expanding the network of traditional universities, creating a new type of universities with a shortened period of study, strengthening the role of higher educational institutions as research centers that train young scientists and lead developments. The results obtained during the study contribute to a more comprehensive understanding of the prospects for interaction between the two countries in the educational sphere. According to the characteristics of the employment of young professionals in China and Russia, the forms of support and assistance provided by universities were systematized to conduct a subsequent survey on the employment of Russian and Chinese students. The developed general mechanism for employing young specialists in China and Russia made it possible to formulate appropriate areas for improvement. China and Russia may have their own specific programs and policies, but these common areas can serve as a basis for developing strategies to improve the management of the youth employment process in both countries. The results obtained during the study can contribute to a more systematic understanding of the prospects for interaction between the two countries in the educational sphere.
