Abstract Diabetes in women of reproductive age needs to be observed and watched out for. Risks associated with gestational diabetes include pre-natal morbidity and death as well as an increase in chronic cesarean delivery and hypertension in the mother. This study aims to determine the effect of diabetes mellitus on the psychology of WUS in Jambi City in Putri Ayu Health Center in Jambi City in 2019.Data were analyzed using univariate analysis, bivariate with chi square and multivariate using logistic regression analysis. Fertile Age Women (WUS) with higher education have the opportunity not to stress with OR 0.2. WUS with impaired physical health have the opportunity not to stress with OR 4.2. WUS with problem solving skills have the opportunity to not stress with OR 4.2. WUS with high knowledge have a no stress opportunity with OR 0.2. The level of education, physical health, problem solving skills and the level of knowledge of WUS sufferers of diabetes mellitus significantly influence psychology (stress). This research is expected to be able to provide information on knowledge and be able to detect early on the factors that affect the stress level of sufferers of diabetes mellitus by using a scoring scale that can be utilized by health workers in the service and as a reference for diabetes mellitus patients.

Changes in rheological properties of blood in smoking women of fertile age

The interrelation of Smoking and changes of rheological properties of blood of women of fertile age is studied and established. On the basis of the Samara city polyclinic, the results of blood parameters were studied in 107 smokers and 136 non-smokers of fertile age, observed in the women’s clinic. The study found that Smoking helps to reduce blood clotting time, increase the number of red blood cells, blood hemoglobin. Under the influence of Smoking increases blood coagulating activity. Cessation of Smoking causes a decrease in hematocrit, hemoglobin concentration. Active detection of Smoking adolescents, as well as Smoking relatives in the family, preventive measures, including the organization of schools for the treatment of tobacco dependence, will significantly reduce the likelihood of severe chronic multiple organ disease.

Early Detection of Breast Cancer According to Fertile Age Women

Breast cancer is currently still the leading cause of death in women both in the world and in Indonesia. Fertile age women, a routine of Breast Self-Examination (BSE) can help them detect and prevent mortality from breast cancer. Knowledge is one of the main factors that contribute to the implementation of BSE. This study aims to determine the description of fertile age women’s knowledge regarding the early detection of breast cancer with BSE. This study used a quantitative descriptive design with a population that is the fertile age women in Tegal Panjang Village, Garut. The number of samples is 90 women gained by Cluster Random Sampling with Slovin’s formula. This study used a closed questionnaire consisting of 28 questions. The results showed that most of the fertile age women had a sufficient level of knowledge about early detection of breast cancer. In conclusion, the level of the respondent's knowledge regarding the early detection of breast cancer is still not optimal. This may be influenced by the low level of education and exposure to health education. Optimization of health education and health promotion needs to be done to increase fertile age women’s knowledge about BSE.

Relationship Between Knowledge and Husband Support Used Intra Uterine Device (IUD) In Multiparous Mother In The Work Area Cangkol Public Health Center Cirebon City

Family planning is a government program to set the population rate in Indonesia which use a contraceptive method. Contraception methode are divided into two types, namely Metode Kontrasepsi Jangka Panjang (MKJP) and Non Metode Kontrasepsi Jangka Panjang (Non MKJP). There are 2782 active KB participants, but the use of IUD contraception is still low which is around 13,1%. The purpose of this research were to determine the relationship between knowledge and support from husbands with the use of IUDs in multiparous mothers in the Cangkol Health Center, Cirebon City. The type of research used is analytic observational Population is Fertile Age Women (WUS) Period August - December 2018 which collected 2,758 people and took samples using simple random sampling technique taken by 97 respondents. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis. Collecting data using data from the Cangkol Health Center and a questionnaire about knowledge, husband's support and use of the IUD and statistical tests using Chi Square. The results showed that most of the multiparous mothers had sufficient knowledge about the IUD as many as 48 people (49.5%). Most of the husbands did not support the use of the IUD, as many as 75 respondents (77.3%), and most of them did not use the IUD, namely 80 respondents (82.5%). There is no relationship between knowledge and IUD use with p value = 0.152 (p value> 0.05). There is a relationship between husband's support and the use of the IUD with p value = 0.05 (p value <0.05). It is recommended for health workers to provide educational packages for married couples about family planning, especially for husbands about IUDs and to increase the role of health workers in motivating married couples who want to do family planning. So, it is suggested for health workers to give the education for couples about family planning programme, especially about IUD, and to improve the role of health workers to motivate the couples that want to get family planning programme.

Influence of tobacco Smoking on obstetric history of women during pregnancy

The article presents the results of the relationship of Smoking in women with a history of obstetric (OAA). The study is based on the results of a survey of 107 smokers and 136 non-Smoking women observed in the antenatal clinic for pregnancy. The study found an increase in the number of miscarriages and abortions in Smoking women compared to non-smokers. Detection of Smoking women of fertile age when attached to outpatient clinics, active detection of Smoking pregnant women, as well as Smoking relatives in the family, carrying out measures to reduce Smoking significantly reduce the likelihood of having children with chronic pathology.

FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI OBESITAS PADA WUS DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS PAYUNG SEKAKI KOTA PEKANBARU 2019

ABSTRACT : Obesity is a state of imbalance between incoming energy and energy coming out for a long time. This excess energy will be stored in the form of fat and fat tissue so that it can result in weight gain. Obesity can be prevented by frequent physical activity by exercising regularly, consuming foods that are low in fat and healthy, maintaining weight in a healthy way. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of factors that influence obesity in Fertile Age Women in Payung Sekaki Health Center, Pekanbaru City. This type of research is quantitative with correlational analytic research designs with cross sectional techniques. This research was conducted on October 15 - November 15, 2019. The number of samples was 100 people with a purposive sampling technique. Data collection on knowledge, attitudes and exercise using a questionnaire, fiber intake with FFQ Semi Quantitative interviews. Data analysis was performed with univariate and bivariate data analysis with chi-square test. The results obtained by the incidence of obesity in WUS as much as 60%. Analysis of bivariate data with 95% CI level obtained by factors related to obesity is knowledge factor P value = 0.037 OR 0.405 (0.172 - 0.957, Attitude P value = 0,000, Sports 0.012 OR 3.523 (1,280 - 9,690) .Inrelated factors are intake fiber P value = 0.412. Therefore, prevention and response efforts need to be done by increasing public knowledge and awareness about eating patterns, limiting energy intake in accordance with daily energy needs.

Inadequate iodine intake is associated with subfecundity in mild-to-moderately iodine deficient Norwegian women

AbstractIodine is an essential micronutrient and an integral part of the thyroid hormones. In women of childbearing age, the estimated average iodine requirement is 95 μg/day and the recommended daily intake is 150 μg/day. While severe iodine deficiency poses reproductive risks, including infertility and abortions, the potential impact of mild-to-moderate iodine deficiency on subfecundity is unknown.We examined whether iodine intake was associated with risk of subfecundity (i.e. > 12 months trying to get pregnant) in a large cohort of mild-to-moderately iodine deficient women.Women enrolled in the Norwegian Mother and Child Cohort Study in gestational week 15 were asked to report whether the pregnancy was planned and how many months the couple had sexual relations without any contraception before getting pregnant. Information about time to pregnancy, maternal characteristics and iodine intake was available for 56,416 planned pregnancies. The median (interquartile range) time to pregnancy was 1.5 (0.5–6.0) months and the prevalence of subfecundity was 10.8%). We used iodine intake assessed by a validated food frequency questionnaire administered in pregnancy as a proxy for long-term (pre-pregnancy) iodine intake. We used logistic regression to estimate the association between iodine intake and subfecundity, using flexible modelling with restricted cubic splines, and adjusted for maternal age, BMI, parity, education, smoking status, energy intake and fiber intake. The median calculated iodine intake was 121 μg/day and the median urinary iodine concentration in a subsample of n = 2795 women was 69 μg/L.The prevalence of subfecundity was lowest for iodine intakes ~100 μg/day and increased at lower intakes (p overall = 0.005). Compared to an intake of 100 μg/day (reference), intakes ~75 μg/day was associated with 5% (95%CI: 1%, 9%) higher prevalence and intakes ~50 μg/day with 14% (95%CI: 4%, 26%) higher prevalence. Use of dietary supplements was recorded only for the last 6 months prior to conception and women were included in the analysis regardless of their reported supplement use. In a sensitivity analysis, we excluding women who reported iodine-containing supplement use in the period 26–9 weeks before conception and the result remained unchanged. We also modelled time to pregnancy by Cox regression, and the result was consistent with the result for subfecundity.The only good dietary sources of iodine in Norway are milk and white fish, and many women of fertile age have low intakes of these food items. This study shows that low habitual iodine intake may be a risk factor for subfecundity.

Pensions and Fertility: Micro-Economic Evidence

This study identifies the causal effect of pension generosity on women's fertility behavior. It capitalizes on Brazil's expansion of the pension system to rural workers, whose pension wealth subsequently more than tripled. Event study, difference-in-differences and instrumental variable methods show that the pension reform reduces the propensity of childbearing of women in fertile age by 10% in the short-run. Completed fertility declines by 1.3 children within 20 years after the reform, reducing the contribution base of the Pay-As-You-Go pension system in the long-run. The fertility response is strongest at higher birth parities, among older women and among mothers with sons.

Demographic situation in Russia and social infrastructure

The article considers the main indicators of demographic development of the Russian Federation in recent years in connection with the level of development of social infrastructure. It is shown that the demographic situation in the country is deteriorating, that is due to both subjective and objective reasons. Among the objective reasons, the main one is the change in the age structure of the population, which is expressed in a sharp decrease in the number of women in fertile age. This is due to the acute demographic crisis of the 1990s, «demographic waves» generated by the Great Patriotic War, and other factors. Among the subjective causes of the decline in birth rate, the article highlights the general patterns of reduction in the number of children in families as the level of socio-economic development increases, which are characteristic of all countries of European culture. In particular, the reduction in the number of children is facilitated by such factors as reduction in the share of officially registered families, increase in child support costs, and the financial difficultiesfaced by families with children during economic crises and stagnation. All these cases are typical for regions of the Russian Federation in recent years. Development of social infrastructure — education, healthcare, culture, sports, and other similar systems — could improve the demographic situation in Russia. Unfortunately, in recent years, such systems have been degrading rather than developing in Russia. This is facilitated by the system of statistical reporting that does not reflect the actual situation. The article proposes approaches that could overcome this shortcoming of the present statistical reporting system, thereby contributing to the demographic development of the modern Russian Federation.

Aromatase Gene Polymorphism (rs2470152) in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Patients of Eastern Uttar Pradesh

Introduction: Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is the most common endocrine disorder occurring in fertile age women. Its prevalence is increasing and varies day by day in the present population depending on the diagnostic criteria. The diagnostic features of PCOS are known at least but the causative factors which directly or indirectly play a part in it are yet not known. Few studies have demonstrated that aromatase gene with many factors (hormonal, environmental etc.,) may play a role together for the causes of PCOS. Aim: The purpose of this study was to characterise the salient features, frequency of PCOS in Eastern Uttar Pradesh population and aromatase gene polymorphism (rs2470152) analysis with Glyceraldehyde 3-Phosphate Dehydrogenase (GAPDH) as reference gene. Materials and Methods: It was a pilot study where participants were recruited from SS Hospital, BHU between January 2018-2019. Participants completed a questionnaire with proforma and had to undergo physical examination before inclusion in the study. Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNP) analysis was done for aromatase gene by PCR-RFLP. Allele and genotype distribution among groups were evaluated using the chi-square test or Fisher’s-Exact test. Two-tailed p-values less than 0.05 were considered statistically significant.Results: The data indicated that the prevalence of PCOS was high in reproductive age group and hormone profiles differ in different participants, with features of PCOS. With this it was found that aromatase gene was expressed in both control and PCOS patients, but the aromatase gene polymorphism was not significantly related to PCOS. Conclusion: PCOS was increasingly high in reproductive women of eastern Uttar Pradesh population. Its diagnostic criteria have many parameters that differ from individual to individual. The aromatase gene polymorphism is not found significantly associated with PCOS in the Eastern Uttar Pradesh population.

For almost three decades, the problem of the annual decline in the demographic potential of the Russian Far East has not lost its relevance. Joining the list of Russia's national priorities in the 21st century and the active state policy pursued in this regard for the accelerated development of the largest macro-region in the country did not lead to positive changes in the demographic trend. Despite different kinds of preferences for the potential Far-Easterners, their number does not cover the number of people leaving the Far East. The article analyzes the indicators characterizing the change in the demographic potential of the Far-Eastern federal district in the context of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation for a five-year period of an active policy of socio-economic development of the macro-region. The main components of natural movement of the population are considered. It is shown that the Russian Far East is characterized by the all-Russian tendency of a decline in the birth rate, caused by the deformation of the age composition of the population, primarily women of fertile age, changes in the intensity of fertility and its age profile. While comparable to the all-Russian general coefficient, the Far East is characterized by an increased mortality rate among the population of working age. Moreover, during the analyzed period, the gap between the average Russian and Far-Eastern mortality rate of the working-age population is growing for most causes of mortality. The high mortality rate of the working-age population is the main factor in the low life expectancy of the Far East. Comparison of real and predicted estimates of demographic potential established in the Concept of demographic policy of the Far East and the Decrees of the President of the Russian Federation is carried out. As a result, it was found that expectations of the future demographic potential of the Far East laid down in the documents significantly exceed the real demographic capabilities of macro-region and will most likely remain unrealizable.

Empowerment efforts to Moria in cervical cancer’s prevention

Empowerment of fertile age women who are married and become members of Batak Karo Protestant Church or it’s called Moria, with a participatory approach as an effort to build, explore and develop existing potentials by motivating and raising awareness of their potential so that a process of independence in cervical cancer prevention occurs. This study aims to empower Moria in the prevention of cervical cancer. The mixed research method. The qualitative was for empowerment efforts, while the quantitative method was for assessing the success of empowerment using a quasi-experimental design (pre-test-post-test group design without control). The qualitative analysis method uses interactive model analysis (data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification). The quantitative data were processed using univariate, bivariate analysis. The research was conducted in the working area of Padang Bulan Public health center in Medan Indonesia started from November 2016 to August 2017. The qualitative result was showed that there was still many Moria who did not know about cervical cancer prevention because they are ashamed, do not dare to come to health care, worried if the results are positive which can interfere with the next life process. Need the empowerment effort again to provide counseling on cervical cancer prevention. The quantitative result showed that there was an effect of Moria empowerment to knowledge (p-value=0.001) and attitude (p-value=0.001), and there was the effect of Moria empowerment on the action in cervical cancer prevention (p-value=0.001). The empowerment of Moria in cervical cancer prevention was very effective in increasing awareness, knowledge, attitudes, and actions of Moria in cervical cancer prevention.

Fertility Behaviour among the Bote Women of Chitwan District, Nepal

This paper highlights on fertility behavior of Bote women by calculating the mean children ever born (CEB) focusing the case of Chitawan district. Fertility behavior helps to know about the factors that influence on child birth and indirectly to control population growth. Relevant data were obtained from both primary and secondary sources. Primary data were collected through interview and field observation. For this, a total of 48 newly married women of Bote community between the age of 15 and 49 years were purposefully selected and interviewed. The study showed that the average number of children ever born in the study area is found 2.64. In recent years, mean CEB has been increasing in this community with the increase in age of marriage and education. The CEB also varies by types of occupation. Women involved in diversified occupations have lower fertility rate as compared to women involved in non-diversified traditional occupations. Nowadays, with the increase in level of education, number of women using contraceptive has been increasing. However, still a large section of fertile aged women do not use such birth controlling measures. Awareness programs/campaigns for increasing education and use of contraceptives and income generating activities further help to improve the situation.

Pathogenetic features of immunological disorders in women with thyroid peroxidase antibodies presence and their effect on infertility treatment by in vitro fertilization (IVF)

Autoimmune thyroiditis (AIT) is the most common thyroid disease among women of fertile age. An increase of thyropercosidase antibodies (TPO-Ab) occupies one of the leading positions among other autoantibodies in patients with idiopathic infertility. Stimulation of superovulation in assisted reproductive technology (ART) programs leads to thyroid overstimulation, relative hypothyroxinemia and an increase of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) level in women with positive TPO-Ab carrier state, leading to a decrease in the reserve capacity of the thyroid affected by the autoimmune process. There is a large number of studies concerning the effect of autoimmune thyroid diseases on the infertility treatment outcomes in ART programs, but the results are contradictory. One of the hypotheses is that TPO-Ab affect the embryo implantation process in the uterus, based on an imbalance of cytokine production by T-helper type 1, 2, and 17, which are not easy to correct by classical hormone replacement therapy with levothyroxine. Nowadays, the immunological mechanisms of these disorders are not well investigated.

Upaya Pencegahan Kehamilan Resiko Tinggi yang Disebabkan "4 Terlalu" pada Wanita Usia Subur (WUS) di Desa Juntiweden Kabupaten Indramayu

Fertile Age Women (WUS) are women whose reproductive organs function well between the ages of 20 and 45 years. In Juntiweden Village, there are still many pregnant women who have a high risk so that health workers need to develop practical skills to improve maternal health. One of our approaches is through community service activities by counseling women of childbearing age who aim to increase knowledge to prevent high-risk pregnancies caused by "4 Terlalu" as an effort to improve women's reproductive health. The counseling method uses adult learning methods, including discussion, question and answer, and video screenings. The description of the activity is carried out pretest in advance by using a questionnaire, giving material then carried out posttest. The results of the 50 people the number of participants found that before counseling (pretest) there were 44 people (88%) with less knowledge and six people (12%) with enough knowledge, whereas after being given counseling (posttest) results obtained 50 people (100%) good knowledge. This means that there is an increase in WUS knowledge about preventing high-risk pregnancies after getting counseling. This dedication activity can increase the knowledge of WUS in efforts to prevent high-risk pregnancies from reducing the number of maternal and infant deaths caused by 4 Terlalu.

EUTHYROID GOITER AS RISK FACTOR OF PERINATAL COMPLICATIONS

The spread of thyroid diseases among women of fertile age are constantly increasing. The frequency of euthyroid goiter occupies one of the first places among the pregnant and constitutes from 30% to 40% according to the data of various authors. At the same time, it has an unfavorable influence on the health of a future mother and it is dangerous for the development of the fetus and newborn. In addition, pregnancy itself can affect the development of the given pathology. Interrelation of these processes is not completely studied. Clinical-statistical analysis of the course of pregnancy, labor and newborn state among 50 women with euthyroid goiter has been conducted. The obtained results confirm that euthyroid goiter changed the indices of maternal hemodynamic leading to disorders of the uterine-placental blood circulation and development of placental dysfunction. The results of investigation testify about complicated flow of pregnancy (80% of cases) and labor (88% cases). The examination found that the lower level of free thyroxin of mother correlated with the lower scale evaluation of the fetus. Results of histological examinations of placentas interpret thyroid pathology as the risk factor promoting the development of chronic placental dysfunction.

FAMILY PLANNING SERVICES AT DENPASAR TOWARD A HEALTHY CITY

One of the goals of urban development is to improve the quality of life of the people, especially in the aspect of health, as found in Denpasar, Bali, which wants to create a healthy city. Denpasar City Development is expected to create and improve health services for the entire community. Improved health infrastructure services are expected to support other government health programs, including the Family Planning Program (KB) as an effort to inhibit the rate of population growth that negatively impacts the economy and environment of a rural and urban area. Through family planning programs people can set the number of children and the desired pregnancy distance, especially for people who live in urban areas. This study aimed to determine contraceptive services in Fertile Age Women (WRA) in urban areas. A cross-sectional descriptive survey was conducted on 1,777 women of childbearing age in Denpasar City. Data on family planning users were obtained from the BKKBN family data collection in 2018. The survey data were processed through univariate and bivariate analysis to determine trends in the use of contraceptives in Denpasar. 55.7% of family planning services in Denpasar are in a bad category. Fertile Age Women (WUS) in the city of Denpasar do not have health insurance (41.6%), do not receive family planning information through the media (41.1%), do not get information from health workers (73.5%), do not get field visit from the health workers ( 96.5%) and do not receive counseling services (59.8%). The low utilization of family planning services will affect the quality of life of the community in Denpasar, especially the WUS, and become a barrier to achieve a healthy city.
