Internalization Of At-Ta'lim, At-Tarbiyah, At-Ta'dib Values In ‎Forming Students' Morals

Lack of knowledge regarding students' morals towards teachers as teachers or as second parents in the school. The word "ta'lim" itself originates from the Arabic word and is an expression used to express education in ways including: 'Alamah, yu'allimu, and ta'lim". Ta'lim is defined as teaching, and yu'allimu is defined as teaching. Tarbiyah means "grow, increase, and height" in linguistics. In contrast, tarbiyah in sharia refers to charitable giving carried out through various channels and techniques that do not conflict with Islamic law. Ta'dib can be interpreted as how to educate or the process of educating, forming a person's morals and behavior according to the teachings of Islamic values ​​correctly and well. In the learning context, teachers are expected to be able to integrate these two concepts by providing good examples, guiding students in a loving way, and helping them become individuals who have good manners and in-depth knowledge. Reality and Ideality: An analysis on Beauty and the Beast from the Perspective of Feminist Narratology

La Belle et la Bête (Beauty and the Beast) is a fairy tale originally written by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve, a French female author, and later adapted into a cartoon by Disney, which tells an actualization of idealized love in reality through the whole story. Such is, on one hand, a revelation of the opposite relationship between reality and ideality while, on the other, an embodiment of the reconcilability in the emotional power, instanced by equal love, confidence and dependence, in the contradiction between the ideality and reality. The theme of La Belle et la Bête as the main objection of this article is analyzed on the basis of the feminist narratological analysis of characters, mainly of La Belle, for the purpose of the acquirement of the profound meaning of equal identity and, simultaneously, of the perception of the realizability of ideal life in reality. This paper intends to analyze the theme of La Belle et la Bête, an actualization of idealized love in reality, from the perspective of feminist narratology based mainly on La Belle, the female protagonist, to acquire the embodiment of realities and idealities, their opposite relationship and the way of equal love in conciliating the opposites.

“When love stubbornly insists on being in a poem”: Pavlo Movchan the love-erotic

The relevance of the article is due to the focus on new aspects of the work of the classic of Ukrainian literature of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries Pavlo Movchan (born in 1939) — the love and erotic motifs, which significantly complement the understanding of his poetic world. The subject of the research was determined by the specifics of P. Movchan’s intimate lyrics and their role in the poet’s work and in Ukrainian literature. The research problems of the article are focused on the inseparable connection of love and erotic motives with the complex of dominant motives of the poet’s work, on their significant role in the artist’s work, on the glorification of love as the apotheosis of an existence, and the loss of love is perceived as the loss of the meaning of life. To solve the research problems, biographical, psychoanalytic, comparative, hermeneutic and formal (philological) research methods were used. Research results. The poet glorifies love as the pinnacle of the lyrical subject’s existence. Memories about love and the idealized image of his beloved pass through all his work. Various obstacles arise on the way of love, which prompts us to perceive it as sweet torment, and this makes P. Movchan related to many poets of the past and present. With the passage of time, the feelings do not fade away, they crystallize more and more. The lyrical subject comes to the realization of the irreparability of the loss, the perception of the beloved as being of greatest value, which he can no longer be brought back in his life, but can still be enjoyed through memories, dreams, visions, etc. Love for the lyrical subject is an inseparable spiritual and bodily unity, so eroticism, sexuality, sexual intercourse are integral components of his love lyrics. The poet conveys this in such a metaphorical, veiled form that it was not understood or recited by the censors of the Soviet era, who aimed to combat any manifestation of eroticism, which was then called “pornography”. The sanctity of spiritual and bodily unity for the poet is manifested in the fact that his loved ones most often receive the name Mary, being associated from time to time with the image of the Mother of God. Love and erotic inspiration in the poet’s poems are given to symbolic images of a serpent, apples, strawberries, cobwebs, etc. Love in the poetic world of P. Movchan is a brief moment in the immense stream of thousands of years of the history of inanimate and living matter and energy, but it is the most precious, the most valuable moment that gives meaning to human existence.

Above The Clouds: a loving way to look at perinatal loss.

Above the clouds is a charity organisation in Belgium, founded in 2016, by Anneleen, midwife and photographer, and Sharon, photographer and bereaved mother of Nina*. Our goal: give all bereaved parents in Belgium beautiful memories of their deceased baby. More than 4500 babies have since been photographed.
 As a society we have lost the connection with death, although it is a key part of life. How can we look differently at mourning and loss and by doing so support bereaved parents and family and friends? What can we, as healthcare providers and human beings, do more to give parents who experience loss the best possible start in their mourning process? 
 Through real life stories we take the audience on a journey to change their view on mourning, loss and death. The importance of recognition, memories and the extremly hard but beautiful and important moment of saying goodbye. 
 The only way to heal our society in our way of looking at death and mourning, is creating awereness around the subject of perinatal loss and starting to look at it with different eyes from a loving point of view.

A postcolonial autopsy on Javanese identity through Campursari lyrics

Campursari seems to reflect submissive identity, but in deconstructive perspective, the identity is chaotic space. By using postcolonial perspective, this research nails its analysis. The approach used in this research is library research with postcolonial approach. The data are the selected lyrics of Didi Kempot’s songs, they are Cidro, Tatu, Suket Teki, Pamer Bojo, and Sewu Kutho. The technique of data collection is documenting and the technique data analysis is interpretation. The result shows that Didi Kempot’s Campursari songs affirm the submissive way of loving. Cidro represents inferiority, Tatu represents surrender, Suket Teki represents inferiority, Pamer Bojo represents betrayal, and Sewu Kutho represents surrender. Those broken love defines Javanese identity which is seen submissive (dominated), but simultaneously, it also exposes a deconstructive point that loving is releasing, and releasing shows non-dominated side.

This period ranks as the Silver Age of the Russian literature and it served the urgent mission to provide the Russian citizens with a kind of truth, which could only be conveyed through literature in a censored society.

Way of love and after‐marriage well‐being: Evidence from China

AbstractBased on 2010 China Family Panel Studies, we use Ordered Probit, Instrumental Variables, and Conditional Mixed Process to analyze the effect of different ways of love on after‐marriage well‐being. The findings are: (i) Compared with arranged marriage, free love can significantly increase the well‐being of married residents. (ii) In heterogeneity analysis, the promotion effect of free love on well‐being is more obvious among the couples 2 years after marriage, residents with positive personal values, the post‐80s, and rural areas. (iii) In mechanism analysis, married residents who met through free love will significantly enhance their ability to get along with others, increase their intimacy with their spouses, improve family harmony, and reduce their emphasis on family succession, thus further enhancing their well‐being.

His new approach to love is to do what is best for others, to love truly, and to initiate romantic relationships. Accepting all gestures of love is the ultimate manifestation of divine love. Love is present everywhere and dominates everyone’s life. "Love one another" is also God's commandment. But love here is not love in a worldly way. People often only love those who love them, love those who seem to benefit them, and love according to their selfish nature. Jesus wants each of us to love one another as he has loved.

Ways of shaping love for God and people and historical memory during the Year of St. Stanislaus Kostka

The aim of the article is to show the many various ways in which the Year of St. Stanislaus Kostka, announced in 2018 on the occasion of the 450th anniversary of his death, was celebrated, and how were the ways of shaping love for God and people during that time. The article presents a review of the most important facts about the main jubilee celebrations in Poland and abroad which were also possibilities to build the historical memory. The year of St. Stanislaus Kostka was part of a long tradition of celebrations marking the anniversaries of this patron saint of Poland, held since the year of his beatification (1602/1605), and more solemnly since his canonization in 1726. The text discusses the worldwide and nationwide events commemorating the Saint of Rostkowo, and presents the main publications and conferences devoted to this saint. It also mentions the exhibitions and various pastoral initiatives taken during the year. Particular attention has been paid to celebrations in the Diocese of Płock, where Rostkowo, the birthplace of St. Stanislaus Kostka, is located. On this basis, the pertinence of the saint’s message has been discussed as well.

Indirect work with hypnosis using metaphorical objects through unconscious intelligence in virtualspace

ABSTRACT A narrative case study is used to illustrate a working model with metaphoric objects and movement within the context of Ericksonian hypnosis. The technique is meant to awaken an inner dialogue within unconscious intelligence. This case also illustrates how to modify the origin of an apparently difficult problem in a fast, efficient and loving way, without the need for information about the person or the situation. This therapy session was conducted using an online format. Work with metaphoric objects is an efficient technique that helps uncover the unconscious origin of the situations to be treated, as well as the solution. Due to the sensitive nature of these ideas, they must be handled with care and responsibility, as demonstrated in this case study.

Impressive as the sea, Vania is the educator who trains in any space, she is the passionate biologist who insists on wanting to save the planet and imposes on us a love and a responsibility for environmental quality is due.

Patriotism, competition, nationalism, and respect for the military in US sports: Public recognition of American institutionalized sports nationalism

Using new data from the National Sports and Society Survey ( N = 3993), this study first examines the extent to which US adults recognize that sports teach love of country, competition as a way of life, respect for the military, and how to be American. We characterize this sport and society process as American Institutionalized Sports Nationalism. Then, multiple regression analyses are used to assess the extent to which dominant statuses, indicators of traditionalism, and sports fandom are associated with beliefs about American Institutionalized Sports Nationalism and its component values. Results suggest that US adults commonly agree that sports teach love of country, competition as a way of life, respect for the military, and how to be American; they are especially likely to agree that sports teach competition as a way of life and love of country. Many US adults also recognize sports as teaching respect for the military and how to be American, but most do not. In addition, as expected, identifying as male, heterosexual, Christian, Republican, and as more of a sports fan is consistently and positively associated with agreeing that sports teach patriotic, capitalistic, militaristic, and nationalistic values. In contrast to expectations, we find evidence that White adults are less likely than Black and Latinx adults to recognize American Institutionalized Sports Nationalism and its component values; college educated adults are also less likely than those with a high school education or less to agree that sports teach patriotism, capitalism, militarism, and nationalism. This may be because sports have traditionally been perceived to offer rather inclusive and fair social and economic opportunities for non-Whites and the less educated. Regardless, it is important to continue to research which cultural messages are promoted through sports, why, and to what effect. The present study advances this research initiative.

Black Feminist Love: An Open Letter to My Children

In an open letter to my young twins, I reflect on an open letter from the past and consider the context of this one: the historic moment of living through a pandemic anticipating a presidential election in 2020. In this reflection, I document the circumstances of our family’s life and turn toward what we are learning. My children have taught me to recognize my need for and commitment to Black feminist conceptions of love. I share a story and imagine letting go of conditional, enwhitened love that fears discomfort. Black feminist conceptions of love cannot coexist with fear and must promote freedom instead. I end with a manifesto and commitment to this way of loving.

Matilde de Magdeburgo y Margarita Porete. Diferentes modos de comprender el amor en la unión con la divinidad

Este artículo analiza la obra de dos beguinas del s. XIII pertenecientes a la denominada teología vernácula. Se propone caracterizar las obras de Matilde de Magdeburgo,La luz que fluye de la divinidad, y de Margarita Porete, El espejo de las almas simples, a fin de determinar las notas más distintivas de las autoras. En ambos trabajos el amor es central, a la vez que está íntimamente vinculado con el conocimiento. Aun así, la lectura de los textos y su detenido examen permite proponer que la obra de Matilde está principalmente relacionada con la literatura del amor cortés mientras que la de Margarita, a la vez que incluye estos elementos, está más enraizada en la mística de la nada, que será luego ampliamente conocida en la tradición por el trabajo de Meister Eckhart. Por esta razón, el lugar otorgado a los sentidos y la corporalidad adquiere mayor relevancia en la obra de Matilde, mientras que en Margarita la experiencia amorosa unitiva es puramente espiritual. Estos matices en las caracterizaciones de la unión con la divinidad deben ser leídos en su contexto histórico, dado que durante el s. XIII y el siguiente se desarrolló una polémica sobre el carácter afectivo o intelectual de la unión mística. Estas diferentes maneras de entender el amor que encontramos en los trabajos de estas autoras medievales representan otro modo de abordar la idea y la función del eros, que desde Platón en adelante ha sido uno de los temas centrales de la reflexión filosófica.

Collections of wisdom from the early desert tradition, like The Sayings of the Desert Fathers and Mothers, are perennial classics for the study of Christian spirituality; and Desert Daughters, Desert Sons will permanently shift how this body of literature [End Page 333] is read and applied to the spiritual life. Rachel Wheeler writes with a penetrating lens to see and imagine what is just beyond the pages of the recorded apophthegmata. Wheeler is attentive to both the text on the page as well as what is occluded, missing, and discounted. This inquiry is squarely focused on the neglect of women, the absence of women, the rejection of biological relationships, and the subordination of women's lives and experiences in this literature. Wheeler ably demonstrates that "men were never entirely able to get away from women, as much as they might have desired, tried to, and led us to believe they had" (3). On Wheeler's examination, the literature of the desert tradition was "full of women" for those willing to perceive them (2). Desert Daughters, Desert Sons refocuses the reader's attention to attend to the women in the Sayings who appear as background characters of many male-centered stories, as foils for men's spiritual pursuits, and as gendered others to be overcome by men's spiritual achievements. Desert Daughters, Desert Sons not only brings the lives of women in these tales to the fore, but highlights how women had much to offer, teach, and exemplify in the desert tradition. As much as this book offers a necessary corrective to a surface reading of these ascetic texts, Wheeler's aim is also reconstructive. Wheeler utilizes a hermeneutic that "consider(s) possibilities about the lives" the women depicted in the desert tradition to provide a "liberating vision . . . to reassess what is our present reality and to reimagine what might be our future" (17). One of the central themes of this book is how this re-reading of the desert tradition can foster a way of love when one considers the characters of the Sayings as real persons with biological families. Her title points readers to the fact that the ammas and abbas of the desert, indeed every individual mentioned in the literature, were also daughters and sons, as well as biological mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, and even spouses. Attending to the biological ties that are often neglected and rejected in the ascetic literature provides ample evidence of the ways these ascetics fashioned new, spiritual relationships at the expense of their familial relationships. According to the opening chapter, Wheeler's explicit motivation for this book is for a current audience that seeks in the early desert communities models for encountering God in daily life. The desert stories "offer contemporary readers a portrait of a lifestyle that, because independent of the explicit vocation that eventually derived from this context, might still feel possible for spiritual seekers today" (30). This literature is still being read and inculcated in Christian lives today and with it the bias, exclusion, and negative portrayals of women. By "peering into the margins" of the text and highlighting peripheral figures, Wheeler elicits new and deeper spiritual significance for the reader. The common thread of exemplary men overshadows the women in the background who were "leading their own lives, dealing with their own ordeals and successes, which seem not to interest men" (32). Wheeler brings to the fore intriguing questions that reshape the reception of the monastic wisdom these stories attempt to communicate. For example, in a passage where Poemen interacts with a monastic brother who had a pregnant wife the husband is instructed to repent and send his wife and newborn away having given them whatever they needed. Wheeler contends that attempting to solidify his monastic goals and resituate his obligations toward his spiritual family at the expense of his physical and biological family this husband and father was in the wrong. In Book IV of the Confessions, Augustine describes an experience of loss that undid him completely: a dear childhood friend fell gravely ill, lay unconscious and close to death for a long time, then unexpectedly recovered. But not long afterwards the fever returned, and he died. Augustine says: "Grief darkened my heart. Everything on which I set my gaze was death. My hometown became a torture to me; my father's house a strange world of unhappiness; all that I had shared with him was without him transformed into a cruel torment. . . I thought that since death had consumed him, it was suddenly going to engulf all humanity." The power of death; the debilitating force of grief; and the question of whether love for someone destined to die can be trusted. Whether it will endure. The "lesson" of Book IV, situated within Augustine's sustained reflection on the nature of love and our capacity to know love, is that such love cannot be trusted and will not last: "the reason why that grief had penetrated me so easily and deeply was that I had poured out my soul on to the sand by loving a person sure to die as if he would never die. . . for wherever the human soul turns itself other than to you, it is fixed in sorrows." Everything less than God will, because of its impermanence and mutability, ultimately disappoint us. Only God is unchanging; only God, or that which is experienced in and through God, is ultimately worthy of our love. This Augustinian insight and its long afterlife figure centrally in Thomas A. Carlson's With the World at Heart, both as a question and as a foil. Like many readers of the Confessions before him, Carlson takes seriously Augustine's profound struggle with death and his effort to identify a love (and a way of loving) that will not ultimately fail us. But he also questions whether Augustine's radically transcendent understanding of love, and his insistence on the [End Page 338] circumscribed, limited, and ultimately unsatisfying character of love constrained by time and mortality can still serve us in the present moment. He examines whether the idea of "loving a person sure to die as if he would never die" is as illusory and ill-conceived as Augustine ultimately makes it out to be. And he considers whether there is a way of understanding love, including love bound to time and mortality, that can help us rethink our own deepest commitments in a secular age. This is an ambitious and even audacious book that aims to extend and deepen the arguments the author has pursued in two earlier books, Indiscretion: Finitude and the Naming of God (1999), and The Indiscrete Image: Infinitude and Creation of the Human (2008), both of which draw upon pre-modern theological-mystical traditions and post-modern philosophy to reimagine the meaning of transcendence in the present moment. In the present work, Carlson examines the question of love—its very possibility, its extent, its durability—in light of ancient spiritual texts (principally Augustine's Confessions) and a formidable array of modern and postmodern writers. Beginning with a searching reading of Cormac McCarthy's The Road, Carlson proceeds to investigate (often in dialogue with Augustine) the meaning and possibility of love—a transcendent reality nested within and shaped by the ordinary, concrete, mutable character of mortal existence—in the work of Jean-Luc Marion, Jacques Derrida, Martin Heidegger, Robert Pogue Harrison, Jean-Luc Nancy, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and Friedrich Nietzsche. Charles Taylor's The Secular Age also casts a long shadow over this work, especially given Carlson's intense interest in reimagining the secular. He acknowledges the importance of Taylor's work but resists Taylor's narrower and more pessimistic reading of the secular. Fundamentación teológica para una ecología cristiana

La humanidad se encuentra sumergida en un problema que definitivamente debe afrontar: las actitudes antiecológicas que han traído graves consecuencias al planeta. Como son muchos los francos desde los cuales se puede hacer frente a estas actitudes, acá se hace un llamado desde la fe cristiana, específicamente la católica, para pensar en propuestas que transformen la visión de cada ciudadano y especialmente la de los cristianos. Como es posible que el paradigma antiecológico que sigue la humanidad de hoy haya sido influenciado por la religión, también es posible que en ella misma se encuentre la fundamentación teológica que permita la emergencia y puesta en práctica de una ecología cristiana. La revisión exhaustiva de las Sagradas Escrituras, la visión de algunos padres de la Iglesia y, la consideración del magisterio eclesial de los tres últimos pontífices, permitirán develar la comprensión de un conocimiento sobre la Creación, que se encuentra inmerso en el mundo teológico, para ofrecer algunos aportes a la educación. Esta siguió una metodología de tipo documental con un marcado carácter hermenéutico que permitió “religar” a la naturaleza y al hombre de forma armoniosa y amorosa, tal y como Dios proyectó su amor misericordioso desde el momento de la creación.
