Pentingnya Penguasaan Fungsi- Fungsi Bahasa Inggris dalam Berbicara

The Akasia study group is an English learning group for elementary and junior high school students located near the Warmadewa University campus. This community service is carried out in Akasia study groups in the form of English language teaching activities. Therefore, the purpose of this community service activity is to improve the English speaking’s skills of students in the Akasia study group. The method applied to this activity is the Communicative Language Taeching in Secondary Level method. In addition, this activity is carried out through the Zoom application. In these service activities, the students of the Akasia study group were enthusiastic and active in participating in learning or training. Students in the Akasia study group were given several English functions that were often used, namely greeting, asking name, and asking date, time, day year.

The Influence of Lecturer Competence, Self-Efficacy and Motivation on Student Achievement of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Warmadewa University

This study aims to analyze the mediating role of self-efficacy and motivation between lecturer competencies, on student achievement in the Faculty of Economics and Business, Warmadewa University. The sample used in this study were 93 students. Research resultshows that all variables have a positive and significant effect on student achievement. Self efficacy and motivation fully mediate between lecturer competence and student achievement.

Utilization of Biofloc System Catfish Pond Waste Nutrients in the Cultivation of Kale, Spinach, Pakcoy, and Lettuce Using the Aquaponic System

The cultivation of catfish using the biofloc system produces waste in the form of remaining ponds that can be used for aquaponic farming systems. The combination of fermentation between catfish waste and chicken manure affects the growth of kale, lettuce, pakcoy, and spinach with an aquaponic system. This research was conducted in the ALC (Agro Learning Center) garden in collaboration with the Master of Agricultural Science Study Program, Postgraduate Program of Warmadewa University. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight, and oven dry weight. The best results for plant height are found in spinach plants. The best number of leaves is found in pakcoy plants. As for fresh weight and dry weight the best results were on pakcoy plants. The best concentration of combination of catfish waste fermentation with chicken manure is at a concentration of 1400 ppm.

Addition of Moringa Leaf Extract and Natural Sweeteners of Palm Sugar to The Characteristics of Moringa Pudding

Pudding is a type of dessert. It tastes sweet and has a soft texture. Efforts are made on making pudding that can be functional by adding Moringa leaf extract and palm sugar. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of water content, reduced sugar content, pH, texture and antioxidant activity as well as subjective assessments including aroma, color, texture and overall acceptance of Moringa pudding added with natural sweeteners of palm sugar. The research was conducted in September 2019-February 2020 at the Food Analysis Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Warmadewa University and Udayana University. Using a factorial experiment with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors: Factor I, Moringa leaf extract concentration (2.5%, 5.0%, 7.5% and 10.0%). Factor II, the addition of palm sugar (5.0%, 7.5% and 10.0%). The objective analysis of pudding produced from the treatment of Moringa leaf extract 10.0% palm sugar 10.0% while the subjective assessment of pudding produced from the treatment of Moringa leaf extract 5.0% palm sugar 10.0% (like-very like) with the characteristics of pudding Moringa is the water content of the addition of Moringa leaf extract 74,138% Palm sugar 63,172%, Reducing sugar content adding Moringa leaf extract 15,239% Palm sugar 15,515%, pH adding Moringa leaf extract 6,733 Palm sugar does not affect, the texture of adding Moringa leaf extract and Palm sugar 5,612 N Antioxidant activity of addition of Moringa leaf extract 22,275 mg / L GAEAC palm sugar 21,676 mg / L GAEAC.

Effect of cooking time on the quality of nila nyat-nyat (Oreochromis niloticus)

The right time for cooking nila nyat-nyat is very influential on subjective and objective value of nila nyat-nyat. The goal of this study was to determine the best time in cooking tilapia in order to get the best quality of nila nyat-nyat. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Warmadewa University and the Faculty of Food Technology, Udayana University. This research used experimental method with completely randomized design of single factors with 6 different treatments and 4 replications. Quality assessment includes subjective tests through organoleptic analysis such as appearance, texture, odor, and taste, and also objective tests or nutritional analysis, such as water, fat, protein, and ash content. Statistical analysis with anova showed that the difference in cooking time gave significant influence in the organoleptic quality and nutritional value of tilapia (p value < 0.01). From this research, we conclude the best time for cooking tilapia was 30 minutes.

This paper explains the philosophy of the Meaning of Sapta Bayu Spirit Sri Kesari Warmadewa which is an abstract form of value points from Raja Sri Kesari Warmadewa. This research uses a qualitative approach, with an interpretive approach and a critical paradigm. In this paper, the assumptions of interpretive philosophy are used as a paradigm that has characteristics for understanding and explaining the social world. Konservasi Bahasa Bali pada Kegiatan Kesubakan di Desa Mambal

Over time, the use of regional languages ​​has changed significantly in its use. Given the ever-evolving times, changing mindsets and lifestyles that demand differences from the previous era. Currently the use of mother tongue or Indonesian and English is more desirable in its application due to the demands of an increasingly advanced era. With this phenomenon, the use of regional languages ​​is slowly becoming less attractive, especially the younger generation. To prevent this from happening, a solution is needed, namely by providing teaching or socialization in the form of conservation and revitalization of local languages. The community service program organized by Warmadewa University which aims to educate and increase the interest of the younger generation regarding the preservation of the Balinese language in cultural activities, this also has a relationship with aspects of culture and language. This activity is carried out using a descriptive qualitative method that describes real phenomena that occur in a society. The result of this dedication is that the younger generation shows an interest in fertility activities in order to continue one of the hereditary cultures that has been recognized by the world, namely Subak.

Language Documentation on Local Culinary of Oa-Cusse Ambeno, Timor Leste

Traditional culinary is a representation of a society that becomes a cultural identity. With the presence of these traditional culinary delights, it can be a means of introducing social, cultural and tourism life. As with other countries, Timor Leste is rich in cuisine, especially traditional culinary delights that have a big role in preserving the lives of its people. Basically, food does not only focus on consumption but also enhances the image of society and informs the condition of the people. In this case, the Master of Linguistics at Warmadewa University collaborates with Escolla Tѐcnica Vocacional Publico De Palaban, Pante-Macassar, Oa-Cusse Ambeno, Timor Leste which through this international community service activity held a socialization in the form of preservation of traditional Timorese culinary by presenting the community, especially the generation young people for the introduction of tools, materials and procedures for making traditional culinary delights and their relation to linguistics in the form of vocabulary. This study shows the interest of the younger generation in their efforts to preserve traditional culinary delights. This research uses a case study research type to get maximum results. The results of this service state that the community, especially the younger generation, can follow the socialization well and understand the procedures for making traditional culinary delights and are able to name the types of food and describe each procedure.

Mengatasi Kesulitan dalam Berbahasa Inggris

Learning English is still quite difficult, especially among junior high school students. Learning difficulties due to the lack of motivation to learn, infrastructure, learning materials and environment. The difficulty often faced by students is about pronunciation or speaking ability. The atmosphere of the Covid-19 pandemic is a major problem in the implementation of teaching because learning is carried out online and this is a new challenge for students and educators, therefore to increase learning interest for students, learning is still designed as well as possible so that students are able to participate in learning. Based on the phenomenon, the Master of linguistics at Warmadewa University takes part through community service activities by holding training programs in the form of online learning about how to speak English so that students have high motivation even in a pandemic situation. This is done with the aim of assisting students in improving their English language skills of Swastika students located in Badung District which is not far from the Warmadewa University. The four language skills that help students learn a language are writing, reading, listening and speaking. This study was designed using qualitative research with the FGD method. This study aims to explain the difficulty of English among junior high school level students.

Pemanfaatan Bahasa Iklan Sebagai Penunjang Media promosi di Jalan Akasia

Warmadewa University has had a significant transformation to its surrounding which used to be agricultural land, currently this land is occupied by several traders who offer their products and services especially on Akasia street. There are differences when viewing from an economic point of view before the pandemic which has been going on for the last few months which has caused a drastic decline in turnover of traders around the Warmadewa University. Based on the visions and missions of Warmadewa University to increase the quantity and quality of the community service that is the prosperity of the traders. Then, the solutions that can be offered is to apply the method, namely the socialization of advertising languages to attract consumers through print and online media with the hope of a revival of the economy for traders in the midst of this pandemic. The results of this study prove that Community Service Activities with the target of the traders at Akasia Street have gotten better by increasing partners' knowledge in promotional strategy by applying adveritising language through print media such as distributing printed and online media such as distribution of product/service advertising banners in the form of education in the use of advertising language in social media accounts such as WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook.

Language plays a crucial role in life, one of the roles of language is to communicate ideas to others. Language skills are the basic element for everyone to express themselves in the form of feelings, desires, opinions and needs of each individual. The more languages ​​a person knows, the easier it will to communicate, one of them is learning English. Understanding of English must be strengthened to rising generation especially students, due to globalization which requires society to speak English. For Indonesian, the use of English is still an obstacle due to a lack of understanding of the meaning of the language itself, students must be able to write and pronounce English words with different spellings. This complexity makes students or children less interested in learning English. The development of tourism in Bali is growing swiftly, this can be proven by the increasing number of visits by local and foreign tourists. To expand interaction, then must be able to master foreign languages, one of them is English. It is realized that the ability to speak English is crucial in the field of tourism, so it is necessary to prepare provisions for children to be able to communicate using English. Based on this, the Master of Linguistics of Warmadewa University through its Community Service activities held training in the form of teaching English about obstacles in learning English and how to overcome them. This study was designed to determine the obstacles to learning English for children and to increase students' interest in learning English. This research used a case study research type. Technique of collecting data in groups, namely asking about the problems experienced when learning English. The results of this study are that community service activities run well and structured in order to find solutions to the main problems, that is knowing the obstacles in learning English and how to overcome them.&#x0D;

Tindak Pidana Penipuan Penerimaan Pegawai Negeri Sipil di Denpasar

Abstrak—Tindak pidana penipuan CPNS semakin sering terjadi baik di daerah terpencil maupun didaerah perkotaan. Hal ini di karenakan banyaknya masyarakat yang beranggapan bahwa pekerjaan sebagai PNS merupakan pekerjaan yang aman dan menjamin di hari tua. Pembahasan makalah ini meliputi; Bagaimanakah faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan tindak pidana penipuan dari sudut pandang hukum dan masyarakat, Bagaimakah sanksi dan tanggungjawab pelaku tindak pidana penipuan CPNS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian normatif. Bahan hukum diperoleh dari pengumpulan bahan hukum yang di dapatkan dari Perpustakaan Fakultas Hukum Universitas Warmadewa dan Perpustakaan Krisna Law Office. Faktor yang mempengaruhi tindak kejahatan penipuan adalah kurangnya beban sanksi atau kurangnya hukuman yang sepadan dan adanya faktor kemiskinan. Studi kasus dalam makalah ini di ambil dari putusan PengadilanNegeri Denpasar (Putusan Nomor: 382/PID.B/2018/PN DPS); pelaku tindak pidana penipuan CPNS yang dikenakkan pasal 378 KUHP tentang kejahatan penipuan dengan sanksi paling lama empat (4) tahun penjara. Penipuan jenis ini bisa merusak watak dan moral bangsa maka seharusnya pemerintah lebih memperhatikannya dan bagi pelaku untuk di berikan hukuman yang sepadan supaya mendapat efek jera. Masyarakat pun di harapkan membantu aparat penegak hukum dengan melaporkannya jika mengetahui perbuatan ini dilakukan dan hendaknya aparat penegak hukum member perlindungan bagi pelapor.&#x0D;

Effect Of Easy In The Use, Trust And Benefits Of The Use Of Mobile Banking Services

Mobile Banking, also known as M-Banking and SMS banking is a terminal used for checking balances, financial transactions, payments using mobile devices such as cell phones. Mobile Banking is currently mostly demonstrated via SMS or Mobile Internet but can also use mobile device download programs. This study aims to determine the effect of Ease of Use, Trust, and Benefits of Using Mobile Banking Services on Students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Warmadewa University. The research method uses a questionnaire while data analysis uses multiple linear regression. The research sample was 50 mobile banking users. The results of this study indicate that ease of use has a positive and significant effect on the use of mobile banking services, trust has a positive and significant effect on the use of mobile banking services, and benefits have a positive and significant effect on usage. mobile banking services.

The role of leadership and academic atmosphere in private universities in improving the quality of lecturers: Study at Warmadewa University

The purpose of this study is first, to analyze and describe the quality level of lecturers. Second, to analyze the effect of the leadership role on improving the quality of lecturers. Third, to analyze the influence of the academic atmosphere on improving the quality of lecturers. This research used quantitative methods with descriptive analysis and classic assumption test, multiple linear tests, and hypothesis testing. The research was conducted at Warmadewa University, Denpasar. The findings of this study indicated that first, the quality of lecturers at the University of Warmadewa was good, and this could be seen from several indicators including academic qualifications (all lecturers were qualified from S2 and S3). Based on academic positions, all of them had academic positions. In terms of lecturer certification, it is shown that 20% were not certified and 80% were certified. In the indicators of writing scientific papers, it is shown that on average 85% of the lecturers already had articles in international and national journals as well as international and national seminar proceedings.

Case-based accounting learning strategies

This study aims to obtain empirical evidence of differences in student learning outcomes. They apply case-based learning with students who do not apply case-based learning. The research method used was an experiment with true experimental design research design, pre-test post-test control group. Two groups were observed, namely the control group and the treatment group. Case-based learning for financial accounting courses is applied to accounting students in the accounting study program at the Faculty of Economics, Warmadewa University semester 2018/2019. The sample was obtained by convenience sampling method. The data analysis technique used was the independent sample t-test. The results showed the case-based learning strategy in financial accounting courses was effective in increasing student’s understanding of the teaching and learning process. The student’s perceptions of case-based learning strategies in financial accounting courses indicate most students perceive case-based learning strategies enhance learning and the level of effective acceptance from classes applying the case method.

Effect of Individual Characteristics, Work Characteristics and Organizational Characteristics on the Permanent Lecturer Performance at Warmadewa University

This study aims to analyze and explain the effect of Individual Characteristics, Job Characteristics and Organizational Characteristics on the Permanent Lecturers Performance at Warmadewa University. The hypothesis used consists of: (1) Individual characteristics have a positive and significant effect on lecturer performance, (2) Job characteristics have a positive and significant effect on lecturer performance, (3) Organizational Characteristics have a positive and significant effect on lecturer performance. The design of this study is quantitative with a sample size of 196 people calculated using the Slovin formula and determination of the sample size using the probability sampling method. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data both quantitative and qualitative data. Analysis tool used in WarpPLS Version 6.0. The results showed that Individual Characteristics had a significant negative effect on lecturer performance, job characteristics had a positive effect not significant on lecturer performance and organizational characteristics had a negative and significant effect on lecturer performance.

The usage of a value engineering method for implementing green construction on the post graduate’s building at Warmadewa University

Green construction is a planning and implementation construction project with adjustment of construction methods and materials in order to minimize the negative effects from implementation of a construction project to the environment so that it can provide a balance between the environment ability and the needs of human beings. Each project construction certainly produce waste due to the construction method or material selection, therefore needed adjustment for construction method and material selection to reduce trash produced at the construction project. Replacement of construction methods and materials we’re not immediately be done to achieving green construction but first thorough analysis of value engineering. On this research, value engineering methods were used because it will conduct a systematic and creative approach and aims to obtain the best value a project with green construction used as a parameter to reach the required target values. This research takes places at Post Graduate’s Building on Warmadewa University where review focused on item or work that potentially produce waste construction waste. Obtained from this research that reducing the usage of wood like materials such as conventional formwork and lambersering solid wood were able to provide solid savings at least 11.50 % and also reducing construction waste.

Performance of 0-14 weeks-aged super free-range hens that are fed by fermented coconut pulp flour-contained ration

The research was carried out at the Basic Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Warmadewa University with a level of use of fermented coconut pulp, namely R0 (ration that contains no fermented coconut pulp, R1 (ration containing 5% fermented coconut pulp flour), R2 (ration containing 10 % fermented coconut pulp) and R3 (rations containing 15% fermented coconut pulp). Each combination of treatments was repeated three (3) times, and each replication consisted of 4 super female free-range chickens. Variables observed included: 1). Age of chicken growth includes the weight gain and final weight of super free-range chicken, 2) Percentage of carcass and non-carcasses for super free-range chicken, 3) Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR, and 4) Feed consumption. From this study it was found that the giving of coconut pulp flour was fermented up to 10% (R2) significantly (P<0.05) could increase weight gain and final weight and flour dregs fermented coconut to the level of 10% also decreases ration consumption and the conversion of ration for super female chicken 14 weeks old.

Chemical changes coconut oil in different fermentation during long time storage

This research aims to know the old fermentation influence the chemical changes during storage on coconut oil. Coconut oil is made with fermented pineapple extract as much as 15%. Coconut oil characteristics compared with the standard National Indonesia No. 01-2902-1999. This research was carried out in the laboratory of Food Analysis Faculty of Agriculture Warmadewa University. This study is a Randomized Design with factorial experiment complete consisting of two factors, namely: factor I, long fermentation that consists of 3 levels, namely 12 hours, 24 hours and 36 hours. Factor II, long storage that consists of 4 levels, namely 0, 1, 2 and 3 weeks. The observed variables against the coconut oil include objective observations i.e. water content, free fatty acids, peroxide, levels of dirt and acid number. The characteristics of coconut oil during storage tend to change but still meet Indonesian National Standard No. 01-2902-1999. From the results of research on the long fermentation 12% with prolonged storage 0 weeks gives the characteristics of the best oils than any other treatment that is the average value of water content, the level of dirt, free fatty acids, peroxide and acid number respectively i.e. 0.17%, 1.56%, 0.53%, 1.45% and 2.20%. During the storage of chemical changes tend to occur on coconut oil. The value of the average water content, the level of dirt, free fatty acids, peroxide and acid number highest obtained on treatment of fermentation 36 hours and long storage of 3 weeks in a row with a value of 0.50%, 3.70%, 0.85%, 2.51% and 4.38%.
