SENI KALIGRAFI SEBAGAI MEDIA DAKWAH ISLAM DI INDONESIA

Preaching is one of the most ideal media for conveying Islamic teachings. The da'wah activity that has been known to the general public is only a verbal delivery to the wider community. In fact, non-verbal communication can also be conveyed in conveying Islamic da'wah. In da'wah there are many ways that can be done both verbally and non-verbally. This non-verbal Da'wah can be applied through the art of writing or often referred to as the art of calligraphy. The method that researchers use is the library research method, namely by collecting literature in the form of journals related to the research topic. The results of the research show that Da'wah using the art of calligraphy is a new alternative in the medium of da'wah, in this way preaching becomes more interesting and efficient. The art of calligraphy in question is not only contemporary calligraphy art but in digital calligraphy art it is also effective and even has a wider reach because it can be implemented on the internet, for this reason this da'wah media is called da'wah bil kitabah.

TECHNOLOGY-BASED EDUCATION MANAGEMENT IN SALAF ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOLS

This research aims to explore how salaf pesantren that are thick with traditional nuances can manage educational technology in their environment. This qualitative research with a case study approach involves in-depth observation and interviews with kyai, pesantren administrators, teachers, and students as an important part of collecting data which is then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. Research conducted at the Al Fadhlu salaf Islamic boarding school, Brangsong District, Kendal Regency, shows that in managing the use of technology, pesantren packages it into online and offline learning forms. Online technology is implemented through the use of social media such as YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram as da'wah media, while offline technology management relies on simple technology such as the use of PowerPoint in learning and laptops as a means of correspondence. In the aspect of curriculum management, the findings of this study show that pesantren have developed effective strategies for technology implementation, such as providing information technology subjects to students. This finding rejects the assumption that salaf pesantren only rely on traditional learning, on the contrary, proving that even though it seems traditional, salaf pesantren still adopts and teaches technology to its students. This research makes a significant contribution by showing that the use of technology can update education in salaf Islamic boarding schools, combining traditional values with technological advances to improve the overall quality of education.

Strategi dan Ajaran tokoh Syekh Siti Jenar dalam Menyebarkan Agama Islam di Kabupaten Bojonegoro

This article discusses the strategies and teachings of Syekh Siti Jenar. Syekh Siti Jenar is known as one of the figures spreading Islam in Java, especially in the Bojonegoro region in the 15th century. This study examines the strategies and teachings used by Sheikh Siti Jenar in preaching Islam among the people of Bojonegoro. Through a historical approach and analysis of primary and secondary sources, it was found that Sheikh Siti Jenar applied an accommodating method of spreading Islam to local culture. He taught Sufism or Islamic mysticism using language and symbols close to the local community. The strategy of spreading Islam applied by Sheikh Siti Jenar is among others through the teaching of Sufism or Islamic mysticism. He taught the concept of oneness with God (manunggaling kawulo Gusti) which emphasized the union of oneself with the Creator. This teaching is conveyed with language and symbols that are close to the local community, making it easier to accept. In addition, Syekh Siti Jenar also uses cultural arts approaches such as puppet performances and cgamcelanc as da'wah media. He incorporated elements of Islamic teachings into the local culture to attract more people to learn Islam. Although his teachings are considered controversial and considered deviant by some scholars, Sheikh Siti Jenar's approach can facilitate the spread of Islam in the midst of Bojonegoro society which is still thick with local beliefs. However, his contribution in spreading Islam in Bojonegoro and its surroundings should be appreciated as one of the milestones in the history of spreading Islam in the archipelago. PEMANFAATAN APLIKASI TIK TOK SEBAGAI MEDIA DAKWAH ISLAM BAGI GENERASI “Z”

This research aims to explain da'wah media with a form of digitalization that is attractive to the millennial generation. TikTok is an application that is very popular in every circle. If this application is used by young preachers as a medium for preaching in conveying their preaching messages, it will attract the attention of the millennial generation. Through this application, a young preacher can easily create da'wah messages that are more interactive, fun, and exciting. In the research, researchers used qualitative descriptive methods with data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation methods. The data obtained was then analyzed descriptively using data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The research results show that: 1) The TikTok application is an application that follows increasingly sophisticated technological developments so that people can easily access it, especially Generation Z. 2) The TikTok application is very suitable and useful by increasing educational content, so that people can better understand, especially Islamic preaching content, this will continue if users are well directed. 3) Da'wah media with the TikTok application has been very popular with Generation Z for a long time and is growing rapidly with the addition of new Da'wah content creators. The implications of this research include: 1) social and cultural, 2) education and digital literacy, 3) physiology and religious identity, 3) implications of technology and innovation, 4) ethics and content monitoring, and 5) religious education and teaching.

Radio Dakwah dan Komunikasi 107,9 FM UIN Jakarta: Pengamatan Media Sebagai Industri

Information technology has changed the behavior of Indonesian society a lot. This is in line with the growing public need for information. Radio is one of the mass information media that has strong penetration capabilities into the market and consumers. This research aims to analyze Radio RDK 107.9 FM as a da'wah media from a media industry perspective. The method used in this research is analytical descriptive. The subjects of this research were the production crew & administrators of Radio RDK UIN Jakarta. The object of this research is RDK Radio. The theory used by Gill Branston and Roy Stafford is that media is produced like a factory. The results of this research reveal that Radio RDK is a community radio that runs media like a factory, by paying attention to factors such as frequency, duration, timing/showing time, and the prominence of other auditive aspects. RDK Radio is a medium for preaching to its listeners. Based on these factors, good RDK Radio program packaging becomes part of the strategy for preaching via radio to achieve optimal effects among the radio-listening community.

Utilization of TikTok as Da'wah Media among Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Students

Artikel ini mengkaji penggunaan media sosial TikTok sebagai sarana dakwah di kalangan mahasiswa Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam Angkatan 2020 dan 2021. Penelitian ini memiliki dua tujuan utama: pertama, untuk mengetahui bagaimana mahasiswa memanfaatkan TikTok sebagai media dakwah, dan kedua, untuk mengidentifikasi motivasi yang mendasari keputusan mereka dalam menggunakan TikTok untuk tujuan tersebut. Teori yang digunakan adalah Uses and Gratification, yang berfokus pada alasan individu dalam memilih media tertentu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode fenomenologi, yang memungkinkan peneliti untuk memahami pengalaman subyektif mahasiswa dalam memproduksi dan menyebarkan konten dakwah melalui TikTok. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, dengan informan yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam memanfaatkan TikTok dengan membuat konten dakwah sendiri atau memposting ulang konten dari kreator lain. Motivasi utama mereka termasuk keinginan untuk mendapatkan pahala, membagikan ilmu agama, dan memberikan hiburan. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang bagaimana TikTok digunakan sebagai alat dakwah dan alasan di balik pemilihan platform ini oleh mahasiswa. This article examines the use of TikTok social media as a means of da'wah among Islamic Communication and Broadcasting students in the Class of 2020 and 2021. This research has two main objectives: first, to find out how students utilize TikTok as a medium for da'wah, and second, to identify the motivations underlying their decision to use TikTok for that purpose. The theory used is Uses and Gratification, which focuses on why individuals choose certain media. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, which allows researchers to understand the subjective experiences of university students in producing and disseminating da'wah content through TikTok. Data was collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, with informants selected using purposive sampling. The results showed that Islamic Communication and Broadcasting students utilize TikTok by creating da'wah content or reposting content from other creators. Their primary motivations include gaining rewards, sharing religious knowledge, and providing entertainment. This research provides insight into how TikTok is used as a da'wah tool and the reasons behind students' selection of this platform.

A-RADIO DAN IMPLEMENTASI KOMUNIKASI DAKWAH MELALUI PROGRAM REHAT

A-Radio 101.1 Fm is an information medium, using its role as a da’wah medium, in the REHAT program (requests and advice) the application of da'wah communication is carried out by broadcasters in conveying da'wah messages. The decline in radio users is due to the large number of internet users, especially social media, which makes radio abandoned. Radio competition in Bandar Lampung is very tight, making radio owners need innovations that are used to maintain the existence of a radio. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, using the type of field research. The results of this study describe the application of da'wah communication carried out on radio programs using several stages of application, in the request and advice format using the Al-Mauidzah al-Hasanah method, through bil-lisan da'wah used by broadcasters. The innovation of da'wah broadcast content carried out by A-Radio in the REHAT program is the use of songs as da’wah material.

REPRESENTASI OF DA’WAH MESSAGES THROUGH PAINTINGS; ANALYSIS OF DA’WAH ISLAMIC DA’WAH IN SUFISTIK PAINTINGS @_ ZUKKK WITH A SEMIOTIC APPROACH

Painting is an art form of beauty has become increasingly crucial to convey Islamic messages and values in the new digital, da’wah media in the digital era, indicating in broadcasting Islam with various forms of methods, one of which is through painting (sign). This digital da’wah is a trend in society, especially the younger generation, the tendency to learn religion through social media. This research investigates the role of paintings in Islamic preaching. taking a case study of paintings on artists on the Instagram account "@_Zukkk". This research aims to analyze how the art by Zukkk plays an important role to starting da'wah in a unique way to convey Islamic values and its impact on viewers' understanding and interaction on the Instagram. This research used by Roland Barthes' semiotic study, which is a continuation of Saussure's thought in introducing the concept of connotation and denotation is the key to analysis. The results show that Zukkk's paintings have a very crucial role in da’wah Islam using a unique way. Through the expression of painting, Zukkk succeeds in providing Islamic messages, such as kindness, justice, patience, to inspiring his followers. Positive responses and powerful interactions, the many people who use the Instagram platform indicate the effectiveness of painting as a medium for delivering da’wah. Memilih Media Efektif dan Produktif dalam Media Dakwah

Da'wah is an important process in spreading religious messages. In the current digital era full of challenges, preachers must utilize media in an effective and productive way. This research aims to analyze and identify the most appropriate and effective media for preaching amidst technological advances. Through a survey of several groups of preachers, this research seeks to determine the preferences, trends and influence of certain media on understanding and acceptance of preaching messages. The results of this research provide important insights regarding strategies for selecting effective da'wah media that can increase community involvement and understanding of religious values. Therefore, this article attempts to provide guidance for preachers so they can take the right approach in choosing effective and efficient preaching media.

STUDI ANALISIS PESAN DAKWAH DALAM FILM ANIMASI IBRA PADA EPISODE 10 FOMO

Da'wah of Islam develops over time. The elements, materials, and means of da'wah have also developed. Da'wah media are increasingly diverse, including YouTube which allows broadcasts in minutes. Dakwah content on YouTube is an option as entertainment, education and information to replace TV programs that are not always in accordance with religious values. Thus, the animated film Ibra appeared, made by Indonesian children, which raised the Islamic message and the story of the Prophet Muhammad, and gave teachings to all ages. Researchers are interested in Ibra's animated film, especially in episode 10: FOMO on his YouTube account, Ibra Berkisah, because in that episode FOMO is significant in various aspects of Indonesian society: social media, education, social, consumption, religion and can affect behavior change, especially young generation. This study uses qualitative methods with a focus on literature review and a descriptive approach. The human instrument method is also used to determine focus, select relevant data sources, collect, evaluate, analyze, interpret data, and draw conclusions. The researcher analyzed the animated film Ibra episode 10 using the Ferdinand de Saussure Semiotics approach, using visual and audio data as sources. The main objective is to understand and analyze the da'wah messages contained in the animation. The analysis results of Ibra's animation episode 10 FOMO reveal the concept of da'wah conveyed through moral messages and religious values. The delivery of these Islamic values ​​takes the form of stories with moral messages, an introduction to religious teachings, as well as motivation and inspiration that are packaged in a fun and easy-to-understand way, especially for children and adolescents. Semiotic signs, such as linguistic, visual, sound, movement, and expression, strengthen da'wah messages emotionally and cognitively. The results of the analysis in each scene contain various messages that teach mutual forgiveness, the importance of knowledge, tolerance, respect for differences, the dangers of FOMO, and holding on to the truth even when faced with hostility.

The current industrial revolution era has changed the entirety of human life both in terms of socializing, working and thinking. Advances in communication technology have crippled territorial boundaries and human physical contact which was replaced by digital coded links. Da'wah activities are no longer carried out in mosques that require mad'you to come to the assembly to gain religious knowledge. Because da'wah has been rife through digital media, which has become known as digital da'wah. This service aims to introduce the public that digital da'wah also provides many benefits for people who live with advances in increasingly sophisticated communication technology. This activity is carried out by socializing as well as inviting partners to participate directly to increase partners' knowledge and experience about digital da'wah. Da'wah activities have now been carried out with various versions and methods that are more in line with the current times, one of the digital da'wah media that is currently trending is podcast broadcasts. Peran KH Arsyad dalam Penyebaran Agama Islam di Menes Tahun 1916-1948

This study aims to determine role KH. Tb Arsyad spread Islam in Menes on 1915-1948. Historical methods used in research include: heuristics (data collection), source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. theory used in research is role theory by Bruce J. Biddle and Edwin J. Thomas. Results of this research conclude KH. Tb Arsyad is one of the Islamic religious from Menes Pandeglang, Banten. He lived in Tegal Menes Village and spread Islam in 1916. During his lifetime KH. Tb Arsyad is known as a man who is sincere, and has extensive knowledge. KH. Tb Arsyad spread Islamic teachings in Menes by using da'wah media by helping KH. Tb Asnawi Caringin. After the eruption of Mount Krakatu in 1838 KH. Tb arsyad finally settled and spread Islamic teachings in Tegal Menes Village, now is Cikedal. KH. Tb Arsyad fosters children and adults through basic recitation such as the introduction tajwid, learning to write Arabic letters of the Al-Qur;an, teaching of obligations that must be carried out as Muslims, as well as establishing an Islamic educational institution, namely Mathla'ul Anwar in 1916 as well as one of the a class V teaching teacher at Madrasa Mathla'ul Anwar in 1916. 1926 M name Mathla'ul Anwar was refined become Mathla'ul Anwar Linahdlatil Ulama (MALNU). His role in the Nahdlatul Ulama organization in 1928 was as one of the First Mustasyar Nahdlatul Ulama in Banten, especially Menes, and not only as a fighter in spreading Islam but also as a fighter in gaining independence.

Efektifitas Media Konvensional Dalam Aktivitas Dakwah

AConventional media is media that was discovered first before the discovery of new media. This media is also called mass media because this media is used to send messages, information, news. In addition, radio is also used as a medium of da'wah. Ahbabul Musthofa is one of the da'wah radios which is currently still operating, the use of radio as a da'wah media is a way to expand the reach of da'wah. The purpose of this research is to find out how effective radio is as a propaganda medium in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative research method, this method requires researchers to go directly to the research location to collect data through interviews, documentation as evidence from this research. From this research, da'wah radio is very helpful for the community in getting to know the teachings of the Islamic religion, even though currently the existence of radio has been competed with the presence of other audio visuals. However, the people of Probolinggo and its surroundings still use radio to get information as well as spiritual guidance, the existence of da'wah radio is very helpful for the people of Probolinggo.

Digital Literacy as a Da'wah Media in Overcoming Disaster Hoaxes in Cianjur Regency

The aim of this research is to present data on how the people of Cianjur carry out digital literacy as a medium for da'wah in preventing disaster hoaxes in Cianjur Regency. This research uses a constructivist paradigm with a qualitative research type. The method used is a descriptive case study, the theory used is social construction theory. The research results show that there are at least 4 digital literacy movements to overcome disaster hoaxes in Cianjur Regency, namely: 1) Cianjur Saber Hoaks (a digital literacy movement that clarifies content suspected of being a hoax circulating on the internet); 2) Tanjeur Cianjur (disaster management and digital literacy movement carried out online and offline); 3) UNPI & Jayabaya Psychosocial Support and creation of a guidebook for volunteers in providing psychosocial support; and 4) Asean Digital Literacy Program (socialization of the dangers of hoaxes and the ITE Law). The implications of this research are 1) Provide descriptive knowledge regarding the online communication climate in Cianjur Regency after the earthquake; 2) Enriching the body of knowledge in the field of digital literacy; and 3) can be used as a reference and guide for volunteers in fighting disaster hoaxes.

Dakwah Via Youtube? Evolving Dynamics of Religious Communication in Aceh Islamic Society

The progress of information technology is currently very rapid. Any information can be received directly by the public in a matter of seconds via various social media. The YouTube platform is one of the social media that is popular with the public and is a good opportunity for da'wah activities. Da'i in Aceh took part in utilizing the YouTube platform as a medium for da'wah. This research aims to find out the information related to the use of the YouTube platform as a medium for da'wah in Aceh and knowing the character of da'wah by using the YouTube platform in Aceh. This research is field research using a qualitative approach. In determining research subjects, the author used purposive sampling so that researchers could gather information from users of the YouTube platform as a medium for preaching, especially YouTube channels that already exist among the public. The research results show that the aim of using the YouTube platform as a da'wah media in Aceh is to contribute to knowledge in institutions, unite alumni/organizations, store da'wah documentation, narrow down entertainment content, and expand the da'wah network. This article aims to explore the use of YouTube as a medium for da'wah in the post-modern era in Aceh, where da'wah is experiencing very rapid development. Furthermore, in this article the author exposes YouTube preaching content that can be accessed by various groups.

INTEGRATION OF DA'WAH AND LOCAL CULTURE:

This paper discusses the integration of Islamic da'wah and local culture through the Wiwit Mbako ritual in Temanggung. The main question focuses on how Islamic values are conveyed through traditional agricultural ceremonies. This study uses a qualitative approach, analyzing the Wiwit Mbako tradition as a cultural practice that is intertwined with religious teachings in rural communities. By examining ritual components such as prayers, communal meals, and social gatherings, this study explores the role of Wiwit Mbako in strengthening Islamic teachings and strengthening social relationships. The discussion highlighted how this tradition became a da'wah medium by contextualizing religious messages in a form relevant to local customs. This research concludes that Wiwit Mbako not only reflects gratitude and dependence on Allah, but also becomes an effective da'wah platform in agrarian society.

In this millennial era, technology has become a tool where people use it as reference material, especially on the internet. The internet as a medium for distributing information has now become almost a reference for all people, especially Indonesian people. Sometimes information that is not necessarily true is disseminated. One of the digital technologies currently developing is social media. In its use, social media can be used as a medium for preaching in the modern era. This research aims to: Find out the concept of Santri Digital Products as a da'wah medium for the Sunan Drajat Lamongan Islamic Boarding School in broadcasting Islamic values and to find out the da'wah messages contained. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to describe Santri Digital Products as Da'wah Media for the Sunan Drajat Lamongan Islamic Boarding School in Broadcasting Islamic Values, by means of data collection techniques, analyzing data, interviews, observations in terms of the daily life experiences of the subjects studied. The results of this research are the concept of digital santri products, namely preaching using digital santri products, namely audio-visual content which is the same as the characteristics of digital products, namely that they do not have a physical form, can be accessed anywhere, are easily changed and updated, and are available in various forms. with different features. Apart from that, the concept of da'wah displayed is the selection of material, the use of relatively relaxed language, and explaining the benefits and advantages.

DAKWAH DI MEDIA SOSIAL: TINJAUAN KONSEPTUAL TERHADAP “ART OF DAKWAH” KARYA FELIX SIAUW

This study aims to find the concept of da'wah on social media according to the book "Art of Da'wah" by Ustadz Felix Siauw. The research method used is library research using Fazlur Rahman's double movement hermeneutical analysis technique. The research results show that there are four important concepts in implementing da'wah on social media, namely maddah, uslub, washilah, and mad'u. A holistic understanding of these four concepts in the strategy for developing da'wah on social media, including selecting relevant da'wah material, an attractive visual delivery style, an understanding of the characteristics of social media as an effective da'wah medium, and a good understanding of the target audience. The implication is the importance of the right approach in conveying da'wah messages to a wide audience, especially the younger generation who are familiar with social media. The results of this analysis contribute to understanding the concept of da'wah according to Felix Siauw and its implications in the development of da'wah on social media, and can serve as a guide for preaching on social media.

Moral Panic and Islamic Comic Preaching on Social Media: Study of @Iqomic on Instagram

The Instagram account @Iqomic (Islamic Quotes and Comics) has popularized preaching content about Islamic comics through social media. Islamic comics initiated by comic artists are a phenomenon. Iqomic was formed in a network of comic artist groups or communities consisting of social media content creators, professional and amateur comic artists. This article reviews the @Iqomic account on social media, especially the Instagram application. Iqomic is an Islamic comic preaching account whose mission is to spread goodness and convey Islam's blessings to all. In analyzing the Islamic comic da'wah movement carried out by the Icomic community, the author uses moral panic to explore how the Iqomic community spreads and mobilizes comic da'wah as an effort to fight negative discourse about Islam, such as anarchy, terrorism and radicalism in its environment. Islamic community itself. The author is of the opinion that, in response to the emergence of various negative discourses about Islam, Iqomic has succeeded in becoming a popular da'wah media by incorporating Islamic narratives into popular Islamic culture among teenagers and young adults, so that it has become one of the favorite platforms for sharing stories and being creative.
