Research Article| October 01 2017 A Personal Reflection on White Ethnic Sociology Jerome Krase Jerome Krase Jerome Krase, emeritus and Murray Koppelman Professor at Brooklyn College CUNY, is an activist-scholar regarding intergroup relations and other urban community issues. He researches and photographs about urban life and culture globally. His books include Self and Community in the City (1982); Ethnicity and Machine Politics, with Charles LaCerra (1992); Ethnic Landscapes in an Urban World, with Ray Hutchison (2006); and Seeing Cities Change: Local Culture and Class (2012). He coedits Urbanities and is active in the American, European, and International Sociological Associations; the Commission on Urban Anthropology; H-NET Humanities on Line; and the International Visual Sociology Association.
