Exploring the “Student-Centered” Virtual Simulation Teaching Mode for Chinese Medicine Pharmacology Experiment Courses

The purpose of this article is to analyze the role of virtual simulation in teaching Chinese medicine pharmacology experiments. Starting from the current situation of teaching Chinese medicine pharmacology experiments, this article analyzes the advantages of virtual simulation technology in experiment teaching under the concept of “student-centered” and its application effect. The analysis of students’ learning effects after the actual application of virtual simulation teaching in our school shows that virtual simulation experiment teaching can enhance students’ interest in active learning, improve their practical ability, and improve the overall level of experiments. It shows that virtual simulation technology has a wide application prospect in teaching Chinese medicine pharmacology experiments.

A General Construction Method of Virtual Simulation Experiment Platform Based on Bibliometrics and Analytic Hierarchy Process

Virtual simulation can solve the challenges of high cost, long cycle time, and inaccessibility in traditional experimental teaching, which is far-reaching for talent training. This study combines bibliometric visualization theory with AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process). It establishes a hierarchical evaluation model of a virtual simulation experimental teaching platform based on 842 questionnaires and 4787 articles, including 68,306 citation records, and deconstructing the complex evaluation problem into several multidimensional factors by attributes and relationships. Based on this, a virtual simulation experimental teaching platform construction scheme for IP protocol analysis based on a network covert communication perspective is outputted, which is compatible with the research results. The experimental platform takes a task-driven teaching method as the core, mainly including four modules of context creation, task determination, independent learning, and effect evaluation. The experience of building this platform can be extended to other disciplines, leading the teaching reform exploration of practice-based, innovation-focused, and engineering-critical, helping to implement the flipped classroom, and promoting the development of education modernization.

Design and Application of Virtual Flexible Simulation Experiment Teaching Platform for Relay Protection

Abstract: Power system relay protection (PSRP) is a comprehensive course in electrical engineering undergraduate stage, which has a very strong engineering application. However, due to the influence of many factors, such as the power system security, high experimental cost, limited course hours, insufficient open conditions, and so on, traditional experimental teaching combined with hardware is difficult to meet the needs of students in various scenarios anytime and anywhere. Therefore, a low-cost virtual flexible simulation experiment teaching platform (VFSETP) is developed. The platform uses Simulink to build the simulation model of power system primary system and uses graphical user interface (GUI) to design the human-computer interaction interface. Through the communication between GUI and Simulink model, the protection experiments in various scenarios are successfully simulated. The VFSETP has many advantages such as simple interface, good visualization effect, and simple operation. The teachers can easily use it for classroom demonstration, and the students can use it for verification, analysis, expansion, and exploration of experiments in a variety of application scenarios without relying on the laboratory environment. This experimental mode is very conducive to the understanding of knowledge and the cultivation of practical innovation ability. The results of the student survey show that the design method and application mode of the platform can provide a reference for similar courses.

Research on the teaching method reform of virtual simulation experiment teaching and practical operation combined with Durgs production training

Production operation is an important link in the teaching of drug production training course. It is of great significance to improve students’ understanding of basic knowledge and mastery of production norms.This paper probes into the reform and exploration of the teaching practice model of drug production by combining virtual simulation experiment teaching with practical operation.The implementation results show that by using virtual reality game elements and modes, the teaching mode combining serious game form with practical operation can stimulate students’ enthusiasm in learning, improve the interest of learning, facilitate the cultivation of students’ innovative ability and practical ability, and improve the teaching effect.Because this teaching method deeply integrates education, ideological and political education, cultivating students’ knowledge, ability and accomplishment, it helps to shape students’ correct values and outlook on life, enhance students’ dedication and sense of responsibility to participate in socialist construction and reform, and train students to coordinate interpersonal relations, learn to cooperate with groups, and improve their adaptability to employment in the future.

Virtual Simulation Based Experimental Sports Teaching Reform and Exploration

Virtual simulation experimental platform, utilized as an innovative sports major teaching mode in collegiate setting to break the spatial, environmental limitation, creates favorable conditions for sports teaching expansion, and helps sports major students further grasp the technical essentials of complex sports. However, insufficient funding and lacking independent R&D (research and development) capacity hinder the implementation of experimental teaching in colleges and universities, and hence create obstacles to promote deeper reform in sports teaching. GIS algorithm in the construction of virtual simulation experiment platform and teaching system

The development of network and multimedia information technology has greatly promoted the teaching efficiency of more and more courses. The purpose of this paper is to apply GIS algorithm to the construction of virtual simulation experiment platform and teaching system. resources to make teaching easier. Under the guidance of constructivism and spatial intelligence theory, based on the design of university physics script, combined with the generation and analysis algorithm of irregular triangular network and the animation demonstration mechanism based on key events, the university physics subsystem is designed and developed. Conduct teaching experiments through experimental research method, select students from two classes in the first grade of a university, and the control group uses ordinary teaching methods; the experimental group uses the GIS teaching system designed by the author for teaching, and the experimental results are statistically analyzed. The results showed that the average score of the experimental class increased from 60.5 to 82.7, the average score of the rear side increased more than that of the control class, and the standard deviation decreased from 3.24 to 3.04. Therefore, the teaching system has a stronger effect on student achievement than the traditional teaching method.

Effect analysis of a virtual simulation experimental platform in teaching pulpotomy

BackgroundThe experimental teaching of pediatric dentistry is a bridge between theoretical study and clinical practice, and virtual simulation technology provides a new method of instruction.MethodsWe built an experimental teaching platform using virtual simulation technology for vital pulpotomy that includes learning and examination modes. A total of 199 students majoring in stomatology in the fourth year at Sun Yat-Sen University were randomly divided into a control group (conventional teaching mode) and an experimental group (virtual simulation experimental teaching model). The teaching effect was evaluated by theoretical and experimental examination.ResultsWe found that both the theoretical and experimental scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group, and the theoretical scores of the experimental group after exposure to the virtual simulation experimental teaching platform were also higher than those before the class, with significant differences (P < 0.05). Feedback from the experimental group after the class indicated that the platform reinforced their theoretical knowledge and greatly improved their mastery of operational skills.ConclusionsThe application of a virtual simulation experimental teaching platform can effectively improve the teaching of pulpotomy.

Research on experiment teaching of anthropometry and virtual clothing design based on Gagné information processing theory

With the promotion of education informatization in colleges and universities, virtual simulation technology is increasingly used in experimental teaching. In the teaching of fashion-related majors, virtual simulation technology can help students quickly and efficiently understand design theories, which are difficult for them to understand. However, due to the complexity of the virtual simulation experiment, it is difficult for students to master all the techniques required for the operation of the experimental system in a short time. In traditional teaching, students passively accept knowledge taught by the teacher and follow the teacher's operation, thereby affecting the learning effect. Such teaching and learning process cannot fully functionalize students' sensory system coding, and therefore cannot form long-term memory. To optimize the application of virtual simulation technology in the teaching of fashion-related majors, this paper proposes a clothing virtual simulation experimental teaching method based on Gagné information processing theory. To verify its effectiveness, anthropometry and virtual clothing design experiment was adopted as the research object. Two groups of students were involved in the experiments. One group was taught traditionally while another group was taught by the Gagné information processing mode. Through a set of learning and teaching process evaluation, experiment results demonstrated that Gagné information processing mode can effectively help students to fine-process the knowledge they have learned, so that important information can be extracted and encoded to form long-term memory. This paper provides support for future Gagné information processing theory in the teaching of virtual simulation courses and exercises.

Influencing Factors of Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching Effect Based on SEM

Virtual simulation experiment teaching has been extensively applied to higher education. Recognizing the influencing factors of virtual simulation experiment teaching effect and analyzing the influencing strength of each factor has become a highly concerning problem in the education circle. To improve the virtual simulation experiment teaching effect effectively and make feasible optimization measures, influencing factors were first reviewed and analyzed in this study based on previous research from four perspectives of engagement of students, the academic basis of students, virtual simulation experiment design, and teachers’ guiding. Second, the conceptual model and structural equation model (SEM) to analyze the virtual simulation experiment teaching effect were constructed by the SEM analytical method. On this basis, nine hypotheses of the model were designed. Finally, a case study based on the three built virtual simulation teaching projects was conducted. The significance of the influencing factors on the teaching effect was verified through questionnaires, SPSS analysis, and AMOS software. The acting path and influencing the strength of influencing factors were analyzed. Some strategies and measures to improve the virtual simulation teaching effect were proposed. Results demonstrated that virtual simulation experiment design is the primary influencing factor of the teaching effect, followed by engagement of students, teachers’ guiding and academic basis of students successively. Conclusions can provide theoretical support and decision-making references to formulate strategies for improving virtual simulation experiment teaching.

A virtual simulation experiment platform of subway emergency ventilation system and study on its teaching effect

For safety engineering majors, it is very important to cultivate the practical ability of professional talents. Due to the difficulty of conducting experiments in dangerous environments, a virtual simulation experiment teaching platform was established. The platform allowed students to understand the structure of the subway ventilation room, and master the control requirements of the ventilation system in the event of sudden fire, blockage, and failure in the subway. Its construction used technologies such as 3D modeling, human–computer interaction, and VR. To test the teaching effect of the simulation experiment platform, two indexes of operating skills and cognitive load were selected to study and analyze the experimental results of students. The research adopts the method of stratified sampling, 46 boys and 10 girls were selected from the first-year students majoring in safety engineering, and they were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 23 boys and 5 girls in each group. The experimental group used the simulation platform for teaching, while the control group used the traditional teaching method. The score of the assessment module in the platform was taken as the index of students’ operating skills, and the cognitive load test was carried out by questionnaire to test the teaching effect. The test module scores showed that the average score of the experimental group was 32.79 points higher than that of the control group, and the results of the cognitive load test questionnaire showed that the experimental group scored 35.14% lower than the control group. The research shows that the virtual simulation experiment has a stronger teaching effect than the field experiment.

It can change the previous education mode of one-way knowledge output to a certain extent and enhance the autonomy and personalization of teaching. The application of virtual reality technology in Chinese traditional painting teaching is not to bring Chinese painting into reality, but to bring students into the aesthetic thinking of Chinese painting. Through virtual simulation experiment teaching, students can better understand the beauty of Chinese painting. In the teaching method of traditional Chinese painting, the teaching idea of using virtual reality technology lies in the stimulation of individual characteristics based on commonness. With the support of virtual reality learning environment, teachers and students interact in the learning environment through virtual reality equipment and platform, which constitutes the process of teaching and learning. Students are naturally immersed in learning. Teachers use the immersion and scene characteristics of virtual reality technology to lead students into the cultural depth behind Chinese painting images, and use its interactive and imaginative characteristics to explore and try modeling, composition and techniques in observation methods and expression methods. Research on the design of intelligent virtual simulation experimental teaching platform based on augmented reality

This research developed a product virtual simulation system based on augmented reality technology. Research on Railway Engineering Experiment Teaching Principles Based on Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching——Taking the Floating Slab Vibration Damping Track Virtual Experiment as an Example

Virtual simulation teaching is an addendum to the experimental teaching mode of railway engineering, and the two teaching methods complement each other and merge with each other. In view of the current research, there is little discussion about the integration path of the two above. Based on the connotation and design of virtual simulation teaching, this research systematically expounds the integration of the real path and path optimization problems, and puts forward the railway engineering experimental teaching principles based on virtual simulation teaching. This paper applies the MOOC and virtual simulation experiment to the experimental teaching of mechanical design, can not only improve the teaching of teachers, but also cultivate the practical ability and thinking innovation ability of machinery students.
