Teachers are one of the main components that greatly determine the success of the teaching and learning process. Thus, teachers should create the right situations and conditions to enable the learning process in students by directing all sources and using the right teaching and learning strategies, which include approaches, methods and learning techniques. To overcome the low learning achievement of students, the researcher conducted a Class Action Research on students in class XII E SMAN. 1 Ronggurnihuta by applying the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by YouTube. This research aims to improve the quality and interest of learning in students. This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of several stages, namely planning, implementation of actions, observation and reflection. The data collection technique is carried out by means of tests and observations, with a descriptive approach. The results of the study increased from cycle 1 to cycle 2. In cycle 1 there are still students in the decent category in the learning achievement variable and the category begins to develop in the learning interest variable, then entering cycle 2 there is an increase with the absence of students in the decent category in the learning quality variable, and the category begins to develop in the learning interest variable

An Integration of the PLS/fsQCA Approach for Investigating the Impact of Quality Parameters on Relationship Quality in Mobile Banking

Understanding the channel-specific, post-adoption relational aspect in digital banking landscapes enables banks to refine their customer relationship strategies to acquire technology-driven benefits and improve bank customer relationships. The study aims to empirically assess the impact of a set of quality variables with word-of-mouth driving relationship quality (satisfaction and trust) that further strengthens bank-customer relationships. Using a stratified random sampling technique, the response of 370 mobile banking users was analyzed with PLS-SEM for the confirmatory analysis and then a configurational method was applied employing a fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis. The findings indicate, that customers satisfied with quality aspects cultivate trust as a relational quality in mobile banking services. Further, the study found relevant configurations of significant antecedents that need to be prioritized in fostering bank-customer relationships through mobile banking.

Appropriateness and readability of Google Bard and ChatGPT-3.5 generated responses for surgical treatment of glaucoma.

To evaluate the appropriateness and readability of the medical knowledge provided by ChatGPT-3.5 and Google Bard, artificial-intelligence-powered conversational search engines, regarding surgical treatment for glaucoma. In this retrospective, cross-sectional study, 25 common questions related to the surgical management of glaucoma were asked on ChatGPT-3.5 and Google Bard. Glaucoma specialists graded the responses' appropriateness, and different scores assessed readability. Appropriate answers to the posed questions were obtained in 68% of the responses with Google Bard and 96% with ChatGPT-3.5. On average, the responses generated by Google Bard had a significantly lower proportion of sentences, having more than 30 and 20 syllables (23% and 52% respectively) compared to ChatGPT-3.5 (66% and 82% respectively), as noted by readability. Google Bard had significantly (p<0.0001) lower readability grade scores and significantly higher "Flesch Reading ease score", implying greater ease of readability amongst the answers generated by Google Bard. Many patients and their families turn to LLM chatbots for information, necessitating clear and accurate content. Assessments of online glaucoma information have shown variability in quality and readability, with institutional websites generally performing better than private ones. We found that ChatGPT-3.5, while precise, has lower readability than Google Bard, which is more accessible but less precise. For example, the Flesch Reading Ease Score was 57.6 for Google Bard and 22.6 for ChatGPT, indicating Google Bard's content is easier to read. Moreover, the Gunning Fog Index scores suggested that Google Bard's text is more suitable for a broader audience. ChatGPT's knowledge is limited to data up to 2021, whereas Google Bard, trained with real-time data, offers more current information. Further research is needed to evaluate these tools across various medical topics. The answers generated by ChatGPT-3.5™ AI are more accurate than the ones given by Google Bard. However, comprehension of ChatGPT-3.5™ answers may be difficult for the public with glaucoma. This study emphasized the importance of verifying the accuracy and clarity of online information that glaucoma patients rely on to make informed decisions about their ocular health. This is an exciting new area for patient education and health literacy.

An artificial neural network approach for out‐of‐control stream identification in multiple stream processes

AbstractA multiple stream process (MSP) is a process at a point in time that generates several streams of output with quality variables and specifications that are identical in all streams. Statistical process control (SPC) schemes for MSPs are designed to issue an out‐of‐control (OC) signal when a possible change occurs from the in‐control (IC) state of the process. However, the SPM literature for MSPs lacks contributions regarding post‐hoc identification of the stream or group of streams responsible for an OC signal. In this article, we propose an artificial neural network (NN) specifically trained for this purpose and, through a Monte Carlo simulation, show its superiority in correctly identifying OC streams, since an OC signal has been correctly issued. The research is motivated by the need for a post hoc diagnosis of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems installed on modern train coaches, generating multiple streams of quality variables of interest. A case study in this area based on the HVAC data (openly available online at https://github.com/unina‐sfere/NN4OCMSP) illustrates the practical applicability of the proposed approach, which is implemented in the Python package NN4OCMSP and published on the PyPI software repository.

Variabel Mediasi : Suatu Tinjauan Pengaruh Kualitas Layanan, Customer Experience, dan Kepercayaan terhadap Loyalitas dengan Kepuasan di Puskesmas Berbah Kabupaten Sleman

This research entitle of " Mediating Variables: A Review of the Influence of Service Quality, Customer Experience, and Trust on Loyalty and Satisfaction at the Berbah Public Health Center, Sleman Regency ". The purpose of this study is to find and analyze the influence of service quality, customer experience and trust on loyalty with satisfaction as a mediation variable. To research it uses purposive sampling and accidental sampling of 100 respondents. The tests on this study were conducted with tests of validity, reliability, classical assumptions, hypothesis testing,path analysisand sobel tests. With multiple linear regression analysis in this study obtained results b1 =0.217 showed a positive influence of service quality variables on loyalty, b2 =0.209 showed a positive influence of customer experience variables on loyalty, b3= 0.146 showed a positive influence of trust variables on loyalty, b4 = 0.164 showed a positive influence of satisfaction variables on loyalty. For partial hypothesis testing used t test, obtained a value of tcalculated for the quality of service to loyalty of 4,072, tcount for customer experience to loyalty of 3,648, for trust to loyalty of 2,657 and tcalculate for patient satisfaction to loyalty of 2,657. Then based on the results of calculations through the sobel test, patient satisfaction mediated the relationship between the quality of service to loyalty with at count value of 2,281, patient satisfaction mediated the relationship between customer experience to loyalty with at calculated value of 2,095,patient satisfaction mediated the relationship between trust to loyalty with at count value of 2.0009.

The Investigation of the Influence of Leadership, Work Environment, and Motivation on Teacher Performance on the Quality of Vocational School Education

The quality of education in Vocational High Schools (SMK) faces significant challenges, particularly concerning teacher leadership, work environment, and motivation. This study aims to investigate the influence of these factors on teacher performance and the overall quality of education in vocational schools throughout Malang Raya. Employing a quantitative research method, data were collected through surveys administered to teachers, focusing on three exogenous variables: Leadership (Teacher Learning Leadership), Work Environment, and Motivation (Internal/Intrinsic Motivation), alongside the endogenous variable of Teacher Performance and the intervening variable of Quality of Education. The results indicate that effective leadership, a supportive work environment, and high levels of motivation significantly enhance teacher performance, positively impacting the quality of education. Leadership (X1) contributes 4% to teacher performance (Y), while the work environment (X2) has a significant impact, contributing 39.4%. Additionally, motivation (X3) accounts for 11.4% of the variance in teacher performance. The overall model demonstrates a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.549, indicating that approximately 54.9% of the variability in teacher performance can be explained by the combined effects of leadership, work environment, and motivation. In conclusion, The study emphasizes how crucial it is to create a positive work atmosphere and boost teacher motivation by utilizing effective leadership techniques. The implications of this research provide evidence-based recommendations for developing programs that support teacher performance and improve educational quality in vocational schools. By prioritizing these factors, educational institutions can better equip teachers to fulfill their diverse roles and responsibilities, ultimately benefiting student learning experiences.

Pengaruh Kualitas Produk, Gaya Hidup dan Kepribadian terhadap Keputusan Pembelian Sepeda Motor PCX di Kecamatan Blora Kabupaten Blora

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of product quality, lifestyle and personality on purchasing decisions for Honda PCX motorcycles in Blora Blora subdistrict, either partially or simultaneously. The research method used by the population is consumers who come to Honda motorbikes in Blora Blora Regency. The sample of this research is 96 respondents. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The analytical tools used are instrument tests (validity test, reliability test), classical assumptions (normality test, multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity test), hypothesis test (multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test and coefficient of determination test (R2). The results showed that the variables of product quality, lifestyle and personality had a significant influence on purchasing decisions for Honda PCX motorbikes in Blora Blora District partially or simultaneously.

Pengaruh Kualitas Daya Tarik Wisata Terhadap Kepuasan Wisatawan di Puncak Becici Yogyakarta

This study aims to determine the effect of tourist attraction quality on tourist satisfaction at Becici Peak, Yogyakarta. The research method used is quantitative with simple linear regression analysis with the independent variable of tourist attraction quality and the dependent variable is tourist satisfaction. Data were collected through distributing questionnaires to 100 tourist respondents at Becici Peak, Yogyakarta. The results showed that the quality of tourist attractions had a positive and significant influence on visitor satisfaction at Becici Peak by 68.3%, the remaining 31.7% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study. This study provides practical implications for Becici Peak managers in improving the quality of tourist attractions to increase visitor satisfaction.

Efficacy and Long-Term Outcomes of Arthroscopic Meniscus Repair: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis.

The objective of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to evaluate the efficacy and long-term outcomes of arthroscopic meniscus repair, focusing on success, failure, and reoperation rates. A comprehensive literature search was conducted across PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, and Scopus, including studies that involved patients undergoing arthroscopic meniscus repair with a minimum follow-up of two years. The quality of the included studies was assessed using the Cochrane Risk of Bias Tool for randomized controlled trials and the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale for observational studies. Meta-analyses were conducted using RStudio 4.3.1 software (RStudio Inc., Boston,MA), with pooled risk ratios (RR) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) calculated for dichotomous outcomes using a random effects model. The meta-analysis included 10 studies totaling 1,004 patients. The pooled success rate for arthroscopic meniscus repair was 83% (95% CI: 77%-89%), while the pooled failure rate was 20% (95% CI: 15%-25%), and the pooled reoperation rate was 21% (95% CI: 17%-25%). Significant heterogeneity was observed across studies (I² > 50%). Subgroup analyses based on suture techniques and concurrent anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction did not reveal significant outcome differences. Arthroscopic meniscus repair demonstrates high success rates and acceptable failure and reoperation rates, supporting its continued use in clinical practice. However, the variability in study quality and significant heterogeneity highlight the need for more rigorous, high-quality studies to refine techniques and better explore long-term outcomes.

PHILOS (Proximal Humerus Internal Locking System) Plating vs MultiLoc Nailing in Proximal Humerus Fracture: Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Radiological and Functional Outcomes.

Proximal humeral fractures, predominantly affecting the elderly, pose significant treatment challenges due to the complex anatomy of the shoulder joint and variability in bone quality. MultiLoc nails (Synthes USA Products, West Chester, USA) are the latest construct, and PHILOS (Proximal Humerus Internal Locking System, (Synthes USA Products, West Chester, USA)) plates are the earlier construct used for the fixation of proximal humerus fractures. This systematic review aims to provide a comparison of MultiLoc nails and PHILOS plates, focusing on their effectiveness, safety, and patient outcomes. Our study included randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and observational studies comparing the effectiveness of MultiLoc nails and PHILOS plates. We searched literature in databases, including PubMed, EMBASE, and Web of Science, until December 20, 2023. The primary outcome of focus was the Neck Shaft Angle, supplemented by a range of secondary surgical and functional outcomes. The Nested Knowledge web software (Nested Knowledge, Inc., Saint Paul, USA) facilitated the screening and data extraction processes. The quality of included studies was assessed using the Cochrane Risk of Bias tool for RCTs (Cochrane, London, UK) and the ROBINS-I (Risk Of Bias In Non-randomised Studies - of Interventions) tool for observational studies (Cochrane, London, UK). R software version 4.3 (R Foundation for Statistical Computing,Vienna,Austria) was used to synthesize the collected data. Six studies met the inclusion criteria, primarily involving older adults in their mid-50s to late 70s. While MultiLoc nails offer shorter operation times and potentially reduced blood loss, both techniques effectively maintain the Neck Shaft Angle, a crucial factor for shoulder function. Comparable Constant-Murley scores and complication rates were observed between the two methods. PHILOS plates showed higher American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Shoulder Score(ASES) scores for two-part proximal humeral fractures with displacement. Other observations suggested advantages of MultiLoc nails in terms of faster union and fewer complications.

Revolutionising High Resolution HLA Genotyping for Transplant Assessment: Validation, Implementation and Challenges of Oxford Nanopore Technologies' Q20+ Sequencing.

The advent of third-generation sequencing (TGS) represents a significant shift in the field of genetic sequencing, enabling single-molecule sequencing to overcome limitations of short-read NGS platforms. Several studies have assessed the utilisation of TGS in HLA genotyping, though many of these studies have described the high error rate as an obstacle to achieving a robust and highly accurate HLA typing assay. In 2021, Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) released the high-accuracy sequencing Kit 14 and the MinION flow cell model R10.4.1, which were reported to achieve sequencing accuracies up to 99%. The aim of this study was to validate this novel high-accuracy sequencing kit for HLA genotyping coupled with a full-gene HLA PCR assay. Comparison with historical data obtained using legacy flow cell models such as R9.4, R10.3 and R10.4 was also done to assess progressive improvement in sequencing performance with each sequential release. The workflow was validated based on data throughput, sequence quality and accuracy, and HLA genotyping resolution. An initial validation was performed using an internal reference panel of 42 samples representing common HLA allele groups, followed by an analysis of data obtained from 111 sequencing batch runs since the implementation, to assess assay performance and define quality control metrics to assess inter-run variability and monitor quality. Furthermore, challenges arising from MinION flow cell stability and use, and assessment of barcode contamination are discussed. The findings of this study highlight advantages of ONT sequencing kit 14/R10.4.1 for HLA genotyping and the implementation considerations for the routine diagnostic HLA laboratory.

Comparative Study between Chest Radiography and Ultrasound Findings in ICU Patients with Respiratory Distress

Abstract Background Lung radiology is regularly done for the patients in intensive care units. Chest x-ray is considered one of the most easy imaging modalities. However, it may be not comfortable for critical patients in addition to the hazards of irradiation. The high variability of quality of the chest x-ray image makes its interpretation difficult. Nowadays bedside lung ultrasound is increasingly used in patients managed in intensive care units (ICUs) Objective To compare the diagnostic performance of lung ultrasound and bedside chest radiography for the detection of various pathologic abnormalities in unselected critically ill patients. Patients and Methods A prospective study done on 60 patients with respiratory distress admitted to the intensive care unit at our institute over 7 months. Chest X-ray and lung ultrasound were done to all the patients and then compared regarding the clinical diagnosis of pulmonary diseases and further radiological and laboratory methods. Results One Hundred Twenty hemithoraces were evaluated. The sensitivity, specificity, and diagnostic accuracy of CXR were 79.2, 94.4 and 88.3% for consolidation, 80, 100 and 98 % for pneumothorax, and 62.8, 96, and 76.7% for pleural effusion, respectively. The corresponding values for lung ultrasound were 87.5, 97, and 93.3% for consolidation, 100, 100, and 100 % for pneumothorax, and 91.4, 100, and 93.3% for pleural effusion, respectively. Conclusion Ultrasound is a bed side tool useful for rapid and early diagnosis of acute dyspnea in critical ill patients. It has higher sensitivity and higher specificity of diagnosis of chest diseases as pneumonia, pleural diseases and pneumothorax in comparison to CXR

Modeling continental US stream water quality using long-short term memory and weighted regressions on time, discharge, and season

The temporal dynamics of solute export from catchments are challenging to quantify and model due to confounding hydrological and biogeochemical processes and sparse measurements. Conventionally, the concentration-discharge relationship (C-Q) and statistical approaches to describe it, such as the Weighted Regressions on Time, Discharge and Seasons (WRTDS), have been widely used. Recently, deep learning (DL) approaches, especially Long-Short-Term-Memory (LSTM) models, have shown predictive capability for discharge, temperature, and dissolved oxygen. However, it is not clear if such advances can be expanded to water quality variables driven by complex subsurface biogeochemical processes. This work evaluates the performance of LSTM and WRTDS for 20 water quality variables across ~500 catchments in the continental US. We find that LSTM does not markedly outperform WRTDS in our dataset, potentially limited by the current measurement capabilities of water quality across CONUS. Both models present similar performance patterns across water quality variables, with the LSTM displaying better performance for nutrients compared to weathering-derived solutes. Additionally, the LSTM does not benefit from flexibility in the inputs. For example, incorporation of climate data that constrains streamflow generation, does not significantly improve the LSTM performance. We also find that data availability is not a straightforward predictor of LSTM model performance, although higher availability tends to stabilize performance. To fully assess the potential of the LSTM model, it may be necessary to use a higher frequency dataset across the CONUS, which does not exist today. To evaluate the dynamics of C-Q patterns relative to model performance, we introduce a “simplicity index” considering both the seasonality in the concentration pattern and the linearity in the C-Q relationship, or the C-Q-t pattern. The simplicity index is strongly correlated with model performance and differentiates the underlying controls on water quality dynamics. Further DL experiments and model-intercomparison highlight the strengths and deficiencies of existing frameworks, pointing to the need for further hydrogeochemical theories that are amenable to complex basins and solutes.

The Influence of Public Service Quality, Perceived Ease of Use of J-Mbako Application on Community Commitment in Paying Taxes Through Community Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality, perceived ease of use, and satisfaction on the commitment to use the J-Mbako tax payment application. The number of samples in this study was 176 respondents, namely people who use the J-Mbako application. The analysis technique used was the Structural Equation Model (SEM) using the WarpPLS 7.0 application. The results of the data analysis showed (1) the variables of service quality and perceived ease of use directly have a positive effect on satisfaction. (2) the variables of service quality, perceived ease of use, and satisfaction directly have a positive effect on commitment. (3) the variables of service quality and perceived ease of use indirectly have a significant positive effect on ongoing commitment through satisfaction.

Mediation of customer satisfaction: E-service quality, brand trust, and reuse intention

The purpose of this study is to explain the role of customer satisfaction in mediating e-service quality and brand trust on reuse intention in the Traveloka application. The theories used are the Techlonogy Acceptance Model (TAM) and Expectancy Disconfirmation Theory (EDT). This research is a type of quantitative research that is associative in nature. The population in this study are all Traveloka application users who have transacted at least three (3) times in one year. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total sample member of 205 respondents. Respondent data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study used PLS-based SEM. The results showed that all variables had a positive and significant effect. Customer satisfaction acts as a partial mediation in mediating the effect of e-service quality and brand trust on reuse intention on the Traveloka application. The results of this study can provide an empirical contribution about the relationship between the variables of e-service quality, brand trust, customer satisfaction, and reuse intention for the development of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Expectancy Disconfirmation Theory (EDT). Traveloka management can implement a marketing strategy that emphasizes service quality and information accuracy to increase customer intention to reuse the Traveloka application.

Avocado peel by-product in cattle diets and supplementation with oregano oil and effects on production, carcass, and meat quality

Abstract The objective of this work was to evaluate the effects of including a commercial avocado peel meal (Avomel) by-product as a feed source supplemented with Lippia berlandieri Schauer oregano essential oil (OEO) in cattle diets. Eighteen 22-month-old male Charolais x Angus crossbred cattle (334.96 ± 27.48 kg) were randomly distributed in three experimental groups (n = 6): Control, cattle fed with the control diet without Avomel and without OEO; Avomel, cattle fed 10% of Avomel in the diet; and Avomel + OEO, cattle fed 10% Avomel and 600 mg/kg of OEO in the diet. The evaluated variables were bulls’ weight (BW), feed intake (FI), slaughter variables, carcass quality and the pH, water holding capacity (WHC), color and chemical composition of raw rib eye meat, as well as cooking loss (CL), shear force (SF), texture analysis and sensory evaluation of cooked meat. After 120 days of feeding, BW was highest (P &lt; 0.10) for Avomel and lowest (P &lt; 0.10) for Avomel + OEO. The Avomel + OEO group FI was low. Cattle slaughter variables, carcass quality variables, pH, and WHC did not show differences (P &gt; 0.05). Lightness was highest (P &lt; 0.05) for Avomel meat. Meat chemical composition was not affected (P &gt; 0.05). SF of meat was different (P &lt; 0.05) being highest for Avomel + OEO. On meat texture, springiness was different (P &lt; 0.05), i.e., meat treated with Avomel was highest, but no differences (P &gt; 0.05) were detected for hardness, adhesiveness, cohesiveness, gumminess, chewiness, and resilience. Odor, taste, softness, juiciness, and overall acceptability of cooked meat were not different (P &gt; 0.05), data not shown. The commercial by-product avocado peel meal supplemented with OEO could be used in cattle diets without adversely affecting productive performance, carcass traits, and meat quality.

THE INFLUENCE OF BRAND, PRICE AND PRODUCT QUALITY ON SHOPEE E-COMMERCE PURCHASING DECISIONS

The development of information technology in the 4.0 era has changed people's lifestyles, including product purchasing behavior through e-commerce. This research aims to determine the influence of brand, price and product quality variables on Shopee e-commerce purchasing decisions. The research object was carried out in Semarang district with a generation Z population aged 18-27 years. The number of respondents was 95 people with the sampling technique using a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling method. Data collection used a questionnaire with Likert scale parameters. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression and is processed using SPSS version 29 software. The results of data analysis show that brand and price variables have a positive and significant effect on Shopee e-commerce purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the product quality variable does not significantly influence Shopee e-commerce purchasing decisions. The coefficient of determination value shows a value of 32.1% with a significance level of 0.05.

This research was conducted at the Bank Nagari Koto Agung Branch Office, Block B, Sitiung 1, Sitiung District, Dharmasraya Regency. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of Trust, Promotion, and Service Quality on the Decision to Use the Online Application at the Bank Nagari Koto Agung Branch Office. A quantitative research method was used, with data collected through a questionnaire distributed from February to March, resulting in a sample of 173 respondents selected using Accidental Sampling. The data analysis techniques applied in this study included validity tests, reliability tests, descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption tests, t-tests, F-tests, and determination tests (R²). The results of this study indicate that Trust, Promotion, and Service Quality variables have a positive and significant effect, both partially and simultaneously, on the Decision to Use the Online Application at the Bank Nagari Koto Agung Branch Office. The R² value is 0.739, which implies that 73.9% of the variation in the dependent variable can be explained by the independent variables, while the remaining 26.1% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
