Abstract In this paper, the design and simulation method of the AGV control system is studied, a variable gain PID control method for the AGV-oriented speed control system is designed, a three-dimensional AGV model in the V-REP simulation platform is established for the directional control system, and a control strategy is designed. Finally, the AGV control system is simulated based on the V-REP simulation platform. The simulation results show that the control system in V-REP has a good control effect on AGV.
