Factors Influencing Online Learning Students’ Satisfaction in UIN Fatmawati Bengkulu

The use of e-learning in education can increase efficiency and motivation in learning. The success of this online learning platform is influenced by student satisfaction. Students who are satisfied then they will be comfortable with using online learning. The success of the online learning system can be seen in student satisfaction when using the LMS and online learning software. So, this study aims to analyse student satisfaction with the online learning system. The sample of this research is students of the Tarbiyah Faculty of UIN Sukarno Fatmawati Bengkulu. The sampling technique used is convenience sampling. The independent variables used were computer self-efficacy (CSE), perceived usefulness (PU), and perceived ease of use (PEU). The dependent variable in this study was student satisfaction (SAT). This data analysis technique used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results of this study indicated that the computer self-efficacy had a significant positive effect on the perceived ease of use and the perceived usefulness. The perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness significantly positively affected the student’s satisfaction. Study Results of the e-Learning Readiness of Mongolian Students

While the pandemic has increased the use of e-learning in education, access varies by location. In order to determine what kind of policy support is needed to support e-learning in the future, it was found that the readiness of students for e-learning is at average level. The purpose of this study is the correlation between the e-learning readiness and technical skills, the ability to communicate with the teacher, the ability to communicate with colleagues, and the communication skills of our country's high school students using an international survey questionnaire. Research analysis were done using SPSS. According to the study results, the location of the schools, the age and gender of the students do not affect the e-learning readiness. However, the fact that the student has his own computer and has sufficient Internet access affects the readiness of e-learning. According to the correlation analysis, technical competence, communication competence with the teacher, communication competence with colleagues, and communication competence are positively related to each other. Also, a survey of students' e-readiness was taken from the teacher, and a discrepancy was observed between the students and the teachers.

E-learning for Prisoners. Experience from Sweden, Norway, Poland, Finland and Germany

In the following article a discussion on the use of e-learning in education of convicts is presented. The topic discussed by the Author is connected with the fact that the use of new media in education at present has become a common solution applied also to educate inmates. E-learning is a current form of education andvocational training. It provides improvement of contemporary culture in education applied at penitentiary institutions to educate convicts. E-learning helps and lets prisoners obtain education and to update education differences. As a method of education, it requires users’ autonomy and self-discipline while working with the use of digital platforms. Education must respond to different needs expressed by the evolving knowledge society. It mainly concerns education of people at risk of social exclusion, e.g. convicts. It is related to the need of dealing with and solving problems that pertain to such issues as increasing possibilities of the media in the area of generating, processing and creating information. The aim of the article is also to describe the use of e-learning in European countries such as Sweden, Norway, Poland, Finland and Germany. These countries were selected for the analysis because they appreciate modern technologies in penitentiary work. They change and develop the solutions. The experience in the use of e-learning in penitentiary work with inmates in Sweden, Norway, Poland, Finland and Germany is different. The aim of the article is also to show how modern technology can be applied in working with convicts. E-learning becomes a tool used for preventing exclusion. Development of various technologies makes it possible to support convicts and prison staff members in the process involving correctional activities. Technologies offer a chance to return or to start work, to continue education, to meet the needs of one’s family, to have an active life in accordance with the social principles after leaving prison. E-learning provides people who have been isolated in prison with a real chance to acquire qualifications. Hence, social issues, family interests, individual interests, business and modern technological solutions are combined in the same field. Coherent and efficient activities come as a challenge to those who perform them and to the society; however, these activities support the process of social rehabilitation.

Using Structural Equation Modeling to Assess Online Learning Systems’ Educational Sustainability for University Students

The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors that influence the use of e-learning among students in higher education during the Corona Virus disease, during the 2019 season (COVID-19). A poll of 395 students from the student’s university was used to conduct the research. The study’s theoretical foundation was an expanded Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which included task-technology fit and students’ engagement, as well as external elements such as experience (EXP), technology anxiety (TEA), and facilitating conditions (FC). The suggested model was tested and evaluated using SEM-PLS. The investigation demonstrated that the suggested TAM-based scale effectively describes factors impacting students’ use of E-learning during the pandemic. According to the findings, students’ engagement (SEN), EXP, TEA, and FC have a favorable impact on task–technology fit (TTF) and perceived ease of use (PEOU), resulting in a good impact on TTF and usage of an e-learning system for educational sustainability (EA). Finally, the TTF fit and convenience of use of eLearning in education have a positive impact on the behavioral intention to use an e-learning system for educational sustainability and the adoption process. As a result, higher education institutions should use eLearning as a sustainability learning strategy.

Strategy for Implementing Elearning to Achieve Outcome-Based Education

Currently, the use of eLearning in education is increasingly playing a role, especially in universities. Thus, it is very important to innovate in designing optimal learning strategies. The meaning of optimization does not only mean that related activities: materials, forums, discussions, assignments, and quizzes that have been delivered by lecturers to students, but outcome-based education (OBE) from the courses delivered can be optimal effectively and efficiently in the learning process. [1]-[2]. As is known in general, universities in Indonesia will conduct lectures for 16 meetings following the implementation of mid-term and end-semester exams, which in the end all activities that have a component of their value will be recapitulated into the final score. This first method cannot be said that students have achieved optimal OBE [3]-[4] because students only carry out the obligations of lecturer assignments every week. In this case, students who have fulfilled their obligations cannot pass the material that has been delivered by the lecturer (pause) to gain additional knowledge, because students do not have the challenge to continue to the next material. This condition occurs because the lecturer next week again provides the material with obligations that must be done by students, and usually the latest topics do not continue the material on the previous topic. Another learning strategy is that the learning process does not have to refer to the completion of the 4-month meeting, but is given the opportunity for students to organize their own learning so that they can immediately reach the intended OBE. Of course, starting with the provision of several materials and targets that must be achieved so that students can creatively manage their own time by solving the problem. The weekly topic contains condensation of several topics that have been designed according to OBE. Furthermore, this study will compare the extent to which OBE optimization can occur in students between the two learning process models carried out by eLearning [5].

The impact of e-learning on the desire to learn through increasing motivation from the point of view of the teachers of Al-Balqa Applied University

The current study aimed to determine how the use of e-learning in education leads to affect students' motivation in the field of learning and to investigate the effect of technology on students' motivation, identifying how motivated learners are towards electronic learning, learn about e-learning features, identifying the obstacles and disadvantages of e-learning and Identifying the impact of e-learning on students' grades. The study uses the structural equation model to empirically test the DeLone and McLean models of the success model of the information system in the university e-learning environment. Eight study hypotheses were tested using PLS analysis in survey data. The study reaches many valuable results, the most important of them is,e-learning students to succeed, they must provide an e-learning system that provides the information they need and easy-to-use information. Although the quality of the system (easy to use systems) does not directly contribute to predict personal impact, its impact is indirect. The quality of the system and the quality of the information have a positive impact on user satisfaction. The quality of the information also has a positive impact on the use of the system, which in turn has a positive effect on user satisfaction.

KPIs identification for evaluating E-learning courses through students’ perception

E-learning to train staff in Danish hospitals - three genres of e-learning.

This paper presents a study of the use of e-learning in education and training of hospital staff in Denmark, in particular in relation with the implementation of electronic patient records (EPR). The study consists of a survey mapping the dissemination and main experience from using e-learning in Danish hospitals. The study shows a widespread use and a considerably agreement on the potentials of e-learning in education and training of hospital staff, but also problems and doubtfulness concerning the actual role of e-learning in the overall educational and organizational strategy for the hospital. The majority of hospitals use some sorts of computer-based training program to support the staff in acquiring necessary knowledge to operate the EPR. I argue that a more differentiated understanding is needed in order to realize the potentials and direct the use of e-learning in hospitals. Three genres of e-learning which differ in regards to qualification addressed are identified and I claim that a more explicit understanding of the differences between them is needed in order to guide the choice of e-learning of hospital staff.
