FACE RECOGNITION BASED STUDENT ATTENDANCE USING PYTHON AND OPENCV

Face recognition is one of the important applications of image processing, where we can scan the face of an individual using Open source Computer Vision library (OpenCV). Introducing this software had proliferated the digital market in security and safety. These days Facial recognition is used around the globe for multiple purposes like tracking & security. And it's not just for security and safety; facial recognition software is now being used in transportation, the hotel industry, and online banking. As it’s actively working in different domains according to their needs, our main goal is to introduce the facial recognition in attendance management system for universities using CC camera as the input medium. Using this software, we can note the number of students attended for the class without any manual entry. Our software uses facial recognition for identifying the candidates present and also gives the headcount of the students which makes the process very easy with precise attendance.

ЭКОСИСТЕМНЫЙ ПОДХОД ПРИ ОРГАНИЗАЦИИ ПОДГОТОВКИ ПРОФЕССИОНАЛЬНЫХ КАДРОВ ДЛЯ РАЗВИТИЯ РЕГИОНА

The article reveals a number of contradictions in the synchronization of professional training and qualification expectations in Moscow region labor market. The data obtained show that the problem of creating a balanced regional system of professional education that meets the needs of young people, employers, society and the state is complex and, accordingly, requires the same balanced integrated approach. According to the author, the ecosystem approach is the approach in need. Speaking of the «educational ecosystem» the author means a new management paradigm of organizing the process of education and training. It must be flexible, and built on the principles of adaptability and personalization. It is necessary to form modern competencies at teachers and administrators of educational organizations, universities and colleges in the sphere of creating and operating personnel partnership ecosystems surrounding educational organizations; identify and study the qualification requirements of manufacturing enterprises; continuously engage consultants and experts in the development of indicators of regional staffing needs; provide sites of manufacturing enterprises to organize professional internships for teachers of educational organizations in order to fill qualification gaps; conduct a marketing orientation of the management system of educational organizations, universities and colleges in order to increase the efficiency of interaction between educational organizations and the labor market.

Design of Informatization College and University Teaching Management System Based on Improved Decision Tree Algorithm

At present, the teaching management system used in colleges cannot classify and store the teaching material information well and also has some problems, such as inaccurate calculation results of resource information weight, long response time, and large data query error. Therefore, this study designs an information college teaching management system based on improved decision tree algorithm. The hardware structure of the system consists of information communication structure, information teaching resource sharing structure, processor, and crystal oscillator circuit, and the core module is the data output control module. This study designs the system software based on the improved decision tree algorithm, creates a decision tree recursively, uses the CART decision tree to calculate the weight of teaching resource information, and constructs the fitness objective function of teaching resource information according to the mean clustering algorithm, so as to accurately extract the teaching resource information and realize the efficient processing of college teaching resource. The experimental results show that the response time of the system in this study is only 8 ms, the maximum convergence value is only 40, there is only one wrong data in the data query, and the storage time is 40 s. This system has a short response time, fast convergent rate, and a low probability of data search error when more than one client access the database at the same time.

Exploration on the Reform Strategy of Teaching Quality Evaluation System in Chinese Vocational Colleges

The teaching quality evaluation of vocational education is not only an important way to meet the national identification of technical talents, but also an objective reflection of the comprehensive management level and college running quality of vocational colleges. However, the teaching evaluation of vocational education in China has not formed a unified and standardized management system framework. Therefore, in the new era of Xi Jinping, China's research on the evaluation of teaching quality of occupation technology education is more important. PDCA cycle is Deming Cycle, which is a model of continuous quality improvement, including four repeated steps: Plan, Do, Check and Act. This is exactly the same as the process of teaching quality evaluation in vocational colleges. Based on the concept of PDCA cycle theory, this paper attempts to use PDCA method to increase the innovative potential of teaching quality evaluation, and construct a set of closed-loop evaluation management scheme of teaching quality in the whole process and all-round spiral dynamic cycle mode-a five in one pluralistic structural teaching quality evaluation and management system of vocational colleges, families, enterprises, third-party institutions and society. This paper also discusses how PDCA method will affect the design and reform of teaching quality evaluation of vocational education in China, and deeply analyzes the problems and countermeasures that vocational colleges may face after trying to implement the pluralistic structural teaching quality evaluation and management system.

Construction and Application Analysis of University Management System Based on Association Rule Mining Algorithm Apriori

With the rapid development of data mining and dynamic data modeling, this technology has been applied in most groups. In recent years, with the continuous development of the data processing technology, society has entered the digital era. Big data technology is widely used in economics, medicine, computer, and other fields. Based on the development status of the big data technology, an association rule mining algorithm Apriori is proposed to study the characteristics of massive data in a university management system. Combined with the big data discrete dynamic modeling technology, the cloud storage problem in the management system is optimized and improved. Dynamic modeling technology is used to optimize the energy-saving and energy storage functions of the system. Secondly, the Apriori algorithm is used to mine the student achievement data, and the factors affecting the change of student achievement are analyzed. Finally, the running efficiency of the whole university management system is dynamically modeled and analyzed. The results show that the system performance of Apriori algorithm mining has high client compatibility. Association rule algorithm is mainly used in student personality analysis and personal information management, The algorithm used in this paper can optimize the overall performance of the university management system and has certain effectiveness and applicability. It can quickly query the required information under the background of big data and has strong applicability. Dynamic modeling and optimization of the storage system can also improve the utilization of the storage system.

Horizon Multi-functional Student Administration System

This paper is made for mainly colleges and schools for maintaining discipline and to preserve time of working faculty. This paper is mainly focused on cloud or digital storage option as well as it is focused or simply made with the intension on centralized management system for schools or colleges. We can conserve time and maintain student discipline using "Centralized Student Administration System”. Student administration system provides an organized IoT based User Interface as compared to all traditional system till now. Another objective of this paper is to increase convenience for teachers and other staff with modern technology focused on reducing lengthy work and increasing convenience. After researching in the field of Information Technology about College Management System, we found that traditional systems are way too time consuming and lengthy. There are many ideas about College Management System but only few of them are implemented because of difficult and vast requirement and its time-consuming process. It proposes efficient and convenient wireless sensor network technique to acquire the neatness and discipline in college or school. It proposes a Centralized Management System of modern technology and innovation. Now a days, technologies like smart cards are getting used world- wide for making the office excess works like attendance, entries less time consuming. We are aiming to develop convenience to rather all workers co-workers and other employees. If we are considering these professional characters then we also consider students who are usually going through their most important phase of their career. Analysis of Learning System in Higher Collection through a Technology 4.0 Approach in the Era of Covid-19 Pandemic

Analysis of learning management in higher education through a technology 4.0 approach. This study aims to obtain an overview of the implementation of learning management with a communication information technology approach (technology 4.0) to improve the learning management system in universities, especially the Bengkulu province UNIVED campus during the covid 19 pandemic. This research will be investigated further and more carefully on management factors. The results showed that: The availability of ICT network infrastructure services on the Unived campus was obtained by 80% of students and 93% of the academic community. In x2 (Availability of Student Academic Information Systems) on the Unived campus, the results of interviews were 82% of students and 94% of the academic community. In x3 (Availability of e learning applications) on the Unived campus, the results of interviews were 78% of students and 92% of the academic community. Based on the comparison of test data and interview data on the PT Unived campus, it was concluded that the Learning System (LS) = x in stages (ISM) = (A, C, and D) experienced an increasing trend (positive). Meanwhile, in the Individual stages of mastering ICT (B) there is a downward trend.

Influence of Management Efficiency of Sports Equipment in Colleges and Universities Based on the Intelligent Optimization Method

China has always considered the improvement of youth physical quality as one of the key steps in the talent training program, and universities have always followed the national policy to change the quantity and quality of sports equipment. This study mainly focuses on the development of sports equipment management system in colleges and universities. By building a scientific sports equipment management system, the efficiency of sports equipment management process is improved and the difficulty of managers’ work is reduced. The construction of the sports equipment management system is a comprehensive information service platform created specifically for sports administrators. The main function is to help sports equipment administrators obtain information on equipment management, and it is an electronic system that can obtain the status of sports equipment use through certain instructions, providing an example for sports equipment management in China’s universities.

Comparative Analysis of Governance Structure of Open Universities at Home and Abroad

In the development process of higher education, open university is an important form of higher education system. 
 Learning from the educational ideas of foreign open universities can provide reference for the development of open universities 
 in China. The internal governance structure of open universities is based on the talent training plan of colleges and universities, 
 perfecting the modern university system and constructing the core education concept. Through a detailed analysis of the internal 
 governance structure of open universities at home and abroad, this paper compares the operation modes of the internal governance 
 structure of open universities, hoping to improve the school running management system of open universities and promote the 
 development of open universities in China.

Higher education in China: Features of management in leading universities

In the past three decades, the higher education system of China has shown the most dynamic development. One of the reasons is the president responsibility under the leadership of the Party committee, which was introduced in public universities in the early 1990s and corresponds to the national traditions as the fundamental management system in Chinese general universities. Recent changes in the Chinese society and economy have led to the establishment of private and joint universities, which determined transformations of this management system and the development of several university management systems. The article aims at describing the features of the contemporary university management systems of different forms of ownership in China together with their advantages and disadvantages. The article provides a brief review of the history of the development of public university management systems from the founding of the PRC to the present day; explains the main features of the Chinese higher education system and the changes in the number of public, private and joint universities in the past ten years. The authors focus on the management systems of public, private and joint universities to show that the management system of the university of any form of ownership consists of three parts - decision-making, practices and control. The article explains the specifics of relations between the highest governing bodies of the university - party committee, president and governing board (board of directors) - and the real system of relations between the administrative and academic authorities. The article is based on the data of the Chinese Ministry of Education, laws and other regulations of the Chinese government in the higher education, websites of the leading Chinese universities, and publications available on the Chinese Internet.

Lecturer Attitudes and Behavioural Intentions to Use Learning Management Systems in Vietnam

This study aims to explore lecturer attitudes to, and intentions for, using a learning management system (LMS) in a Vietnamese university. Its two main purposes are to (a) identify the factors that influence lecturer attitudes and intentions to use an LMS, and (b) examine the causal relationships among the factors. To achieve this aim, the study used Davis’ (1985) technology acceptance model (TAM) as a baseline. The study expands the original model to include two constructs: perceived internet self-efficacy (PIS), and support to use (SU). The results of the study revealed that PIS was a significant direct predictor of lecturers’ perceived ease of use and behavioural intention to use an LMS. However, the support to use construct did not predict perceived ease of use. The study suggests that institutions should conduct an in-depth survey of teacher needs to assist with making well-informed decisions about developing an LMS for future emergencies.

The implementation of PMS in Italian universities: A longitudinal analysis

Starting from the 1990s, the New Public Management (NPM) has been the most inspiring principle of public sector reforms in Europe. The Higher Education (HE) sector is among the different fields in which the implementation of NPM reforms have been controversial. Based on the NPM framework, most HE reforms have focused on enhancing universities' accountability and transparency through performance measurement and performance management (Rabovsky, 2014; Rebora and Turri, 2011). The effects of the implementation of this "calculative technologies" is, however, still under investigated (Arnaboldi et al., 2016). Using documentary analysis as research methodology, this paper investigates implementation trajectories of performance management system (PMS) in Italian universities (Marchi, 2015). Specifically, this is a longitudinal documentary analysis and it offers the results from a content analysis of the Performance Plan (PP) and the Performance Report (PR) of 66 Italian Universities in two periods, i.e. 2016 and 2018. Furthermore, the longitudinal documentary analysis adopts the matrix from a previous study (Dal Molin et al., 2017), which matches the "quality of PMS" and the "expected use of PMS". The main objective of this study is to investigate if the "implementation gap" (Ongaro and Valotti, 2008) highlighted in previous studies (e.g. Dal Molin et al., 2017) has been fulfilled and in which elements it is possible to observe such improvement. As main result, the study shows that the implementation gap is still strongly present, from 2012 until now, and a formal compliance with the law still persists (Allini et al., 2020). There are areas of improvement related to external accountability and compliance, however, this is not supported by an internal use based on internal accountability (Tieghi et al., 2018).

Integrating Mobile Computing in University Information Management Systems to Improve Access and User Experience

Objectives: To develop a mobile application and integrate it with an existing University Management System for improving access and user experience for services to be accessed anytime, anywhere through connected smartphones. Methods: An online survey, interviews, and observations to collect the system requirements were gathered and analyzed essential requirements for the design and development of the mobile application. Agile software methodology was used because of its flexibility to accommodate changes. The integration architecture was based on RESTful API and SOAP web services. The System Usability Scale (SUS) methodology was applied to assess the user’s perception and usefulness of the mobile application. Findings: The developed Pwani University (PU) mobile application was able to successfully connect with the Students Information Management System (SIMS) to access services. Unit, integration, and system testing were performed to ensure the intended specifications were met. The key findings from the survey show that smartphones, the majority of which run on the Android platform, are the most commonly owned and used mobile devices among students. The majority of students 97% agreed that the justifications for developing the app were valid. The study indicated that 68% of students want access to course information, hostel information, and exam results via their mobile gadgets. The usability and acceptance testing were very successful with more than 90% of users liking the app and more than 80% did not need any assistance to use the app and did not find it cumbersome. Novelty : The developed mobile application provides seamless integration with the PU SIMS, increasing access to services, portability, and convenience to staff and students. College Management System using Salesforce

College Management system is Salesforce CRM based application which is the new technical way to manage all department related jobs. Collage management system is helpful for students as well as the colleges. In the existing system all the activities are done manually. It is very costly and time consuming. In our proposed system, students can view results using phones. The data will be stored in the Salesforce. The Admin, Faculty or the student should be a register user. The faculty can login into their college account through the application itself and update the academic result like internal exam marks obtained by the students. In this system students have easy access for viewing the marks; the application will check user authentications. Students are not permitted to manipulate any data. The proposed work has two modules: A. Student B. Teacher C. Admin. In the student’s module, students need to register their university registration number, college registration number, student name. Admin module maintains the student’s marks of internal college exams. Other than this the advanced features are: In case of natural calamities such as floods, etc. notification to students will be sent from admin office through application directly. Any new notice for a particular semester will be uploaded by professor through application notifying to respective semester students. The students can download different subject notes according to their departments. The faculty of particular department is responsible for updating the assignments, updating the attendance of every student, updating the notification related to department.

Data mining applications in university information management system development

Abstract Nowadays, the modern management is promoted to resolve the issue of unreliable information transmission and to provide work efficiency. The basic aim of the modern management is to be more effective in the role of the school to train talents and serve the society. This article focuses on the application of data mining (DM) in the development of information management system (IMS) in universities and colleges. DM provides powerful approaches for a variety of educational areas. Due to the large amount of student information that can be used to design valuable patterns relevant to student learning behavior, research in the field of education is continuously expanding. Educational data mining can be used by educational institutions to assess student performance, assisting the institution in recognizing the student’s accomplishments. In DM, classification is a well-known technique that has been regularly used to determine student achievement. In this study, the process of DM and the application research of association rules is introduced in the development of IMS in universities and colleges. The results show that the curriculum covers the whole field and the minimum transaction support count be 2, minconf = 70%. The results also suggested that students who choose one course also tend to choose the other course. The application of DM theory in university information will greatly upsurge the data analysis capability of administrators and improve the management level.

Proposed Model for Using Block Chain to Secure the University Management System in Online Education

In light of the Corona pandemic that is sweeping the entire world, and one of its negative effects was forcing the world to social distance between its members in an attempt to limit the spread of this epidemic, and one of the sectors that were directly affected by this epidemic and what led to it of social distancing is the education sector with all its institutions, Where educational institutions of all kinds were forced to resort to the education system through the Internet, it was necessary to think of a way to secure important data and information circulating over the Internet in this new system that educational institutions were forced to implement, and block chain technology is a qualitative revolution in information technology. It is a technology that aims to store and verify the validity of digital transactions on the Internet with a high degree of security. This research paper explains how to take advantage of the block chain technology in the educational process and secure its data so that it is not exposed to hacking, theft or modification, by developing a visualization How to use block chain technology and benefit from it in securing and protecting data in online education, which achieves security and confidentiality and not to modify it, such as securing academic degrees for students and to ensure the attendance of students and to ensure that they are not tampered with.

Effect of Google Classroom on Academic Achievement of Undergraduate Students in Computer Database Management System in Universities in South East Nigeria

The study was carried out to determine the effect of Google classroom on the academic achievement of undergraduate students in computer database management systems in universities in Enugu state. A quasi-experimental research design was adopted for the study and intact classes were assigned to the treatment group. The population for the study comprised all 136 third-year computer education students in universities in south east Nigeria that offers database management system. Two research questions were posed and two hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. Mean and standard deviation was used to analyze the research question Analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) was used to test the hypotheses of no significant difference at 0.05 level of significance. It was found out that there is no interaction effect, academic achievement of treatment group improved better than control group in the database management system. Based on the findings, it was recommended that lecturers teaching database management systems should integrate into teaching practices, the use of Google classroom in instructional method.

ВЛИЯНИЕ ЦИФРОВИЗАЦИИ НА ФОРМИРОВАНИЕ РЕПУТАЦИОННОГО КАПИТАЛА

The prospects for the development and legal status of universities are determined on the basis of challenges, the formation of which takes place due to competition between the global, national and regional levels. In other words, we are talking about the struggle for the right to be considered the best and it is desirable to take a leading position. Such a competitive struggle is accompanied by the need to prove on an ongoing basis both their viability and their ability to survive, as well as the advantages on the basis of which universities can stand out among other educational institutions. Questions about reputation capital in the field of higher education, about the creation and implementation of a policy to improve the reputation of universities, about the development of a mechanism for assessing reputation capital and its aggregation into the management system of universities are extremely relevant, but insufficiently developed, since in research related to the formation of reputation capital, scientists focus mainly on economic and political spheres. Meanwhile, the country’s higher education system also requires a theoretical understanding of these problems and their practical solution.

Design of the College Students’ Music Big Data Management System Based on Computer Assistance

With the rapid development of science and technology, the college music big data management system also needs a computer‐aided data model for optimization. In order to improve the efficiency of computer‐aided teaching of the music big data management system in colleges and universities, this paper analyzes and processes the music database of music software based on the computer‐aided Bayesian algorithm and establishes a Bayesian model. Firstly, this paper introduces the principle and function theorem of the Bayesian algorithm. The data is divided into original music and new music, and a college music data management system with search recommendations as the core is established. We iteratively calculate the optimal hidden semantic matrix and we finally select ReLU function as the activation function of this experiment. After the model of the music management system is established, it is applied to a university. The experimental results show that the experiment has reached the expected standard. When the hidden factor dimension is 11, the system model has the best representation of music features. Students’ use of the music search and the recommendation system has greatly improved their music literacy and music coverage.

Innovation System Development Based on Double Circulation Strategy
