The Void and the Multiverse

The Void is different from the vacuum space of our Universe because it has “nothing” in it, no space, no time, no mass, and no charge. It only has Pure Energy. The only particles that have no space, no time, no mass, and no charge are photons and hence the Void is filled with photons of different Energy levels separated from one another by quantum numbers n. The Energy from within the Void is the source of all creation and annihilation. Each Universe of the Multiverse is created in parts that are joined together by gravity. Dark (Photon) Energy creates one part of the first dimension, two parts of the second dimension, three parts of the third dimension, four parts of the fourth dimension and so on, parts that are brought together to complete the formation of that dimensional Universe by means of a Big Bang; just as the Big Bang brought 3, 3-D parts created by 3, 2-D Universes together to form our 3-D Universe.

Prototype design and performance analysis of genetic algorithm-based SLAM for indoor navigation using TETRIX Prizm mobile robot

For any robot to navigate on its own, it is important to create a map of its surroundings and localise itself to detect the obstacles. The present paper focuses on building a universal robotic description format model for the TETRIX robot followed by optimisation of 2D simultaneous localisation and mapping parameters using genetic algorithm in ROS-based environment to make robot navigation efficient. The GMapping and adaptive Monte Carlo localisation parameters were optimised using multiobjective GA. Furthermore, map quality is validated by using no reference blind/referenceless image spatial quality evaluator factor. The statistical analysis based on the mean and standard deviation of particle filters was analysed to measure the spread the particles filters during localisation. The test environment was created in ROS, Gazebo and MATLAB and with optimal parameters good quality high-resolution map with accurate and efficient localisation was achieved.

Student character building activities as a component of higher education primary educational program

The paper provides a solution to the task of implementing student’s character building activities as a component of the main educational program of higher education in a technical university through the common universal competences formation, the educational process is considered as a single focused process of education and training in the interests of a person, family, society and the state, where education is an activity aimed at personal development, creating conditions for self-determination and socialization of the student.

МЕТОДИЧЕСКОЕ СОПРОВОЖДЕНИЕ РЕАЛИЗАЦИИ ПРОГРАММЫ ФОРМИРОВАНИЯ УНИВЕРСАЛЬНЫХ КОМПЕТЕНЦИЙ У СТУДЕНТОВ КОЛЛЕДЖА В ПРОЦЕССЕ ДОСУГОВОЙ ДЕЯТЕЛЬНОСТИ

We consider the possibilities of leisure activities in universal competencies formation of future teachers. Presented detailed methodological support for the implementation of the author's program “Crossroad” for students in the pedagogical college is relevant due to the need for effective formation of universal competencies among students in the competently organized professionally-oriented leisure. The idea of the “Crossroad” program is to integrate several directions (“Spiritual Spring”, “Life in Art”, “I give my heart to children”, “Laboratory of Interactive Technologies”) that contribute to the innovative and creative development of the individual. Each of these directions is disclosed in detail and methodically developed, the specifics of the forms, methods and means of education and upbringing used in this process are revealed. Emphasized activity of the interactive technologies laboratory provides high-quality training in the most popular and promising areas of the socio-pedagogical sphere of the region due to the new content of education and new learning technologies. It is necessary to use a portfolio as the most pragmatic and personalized form for the correct assessment of individual achievements and universal competencies of a college student.

Generation of a Panorama Compatible with the JPEG 360 International Standard Using a Single PTZ Camera

Recently, the JPEG working group (ISO/IEC JTC1 SC29 WG1) developed an international standard, JPEG 360, that specifies the metadata and functionalities for saving and sharing 360-degree images efficiently to create a more realistic environment in various virtual reality services. We surveyed the metadata formats of existing 360-degree images and compared them to the JPEG 360 metadata format. We found that existing omnidirectional cameras and stitching software packages use formats that are incompatible with the JPEG 360 standard to embed metadata in JPEG image files. This paper proposes an easy-to-use tool for embedding JPEG 360 standard metadata for 360-degree images in JPEG image files using a JPEG-defined box format: the JPEG universal metadata box format. The proposed implementation will help 360-degree cameras and software vendors provide immersive services to users in a standardized manner for various markets, such as entertainment, education, professional training, navigation, and virtual and augmented reality applications. We also propose and develop an economical JPEG 360 standard compatible panoramic image acquisition system from a single PTZ camera with a special-use case of a wide field of view image of a conference or meeting. A remote attendee of the conference/meeting can see the realistic and immersive environment through our PTZ panorama in virtual reality.

Soliton molecules in femtosecond fiber lasers: universal binding mechanism and direct electronic control

Sequences of ultrashort pulses form the basis of extremely precise laser applications ranging from femtosecond spectroscopy, to material microprocessing, to biomedical imaging. Dynamic patterns of temporal solitons—termed “soliton molecules”—inside mode-locked cavities provide yet unexplored means for generating reconfigurable arrangements of ultrashort pulses. Here, we demonstrate the external control of solitonic bound states in widespread erbium-doped fiber lasers via direct electronic modulation of the semiconductor pump source. This straightforward approach allows for switching between discrete soliton doublet states of picosecond separations, employing and relying on laser-intrinsic soliton interactions. We analyze the externally induced dynamics based on real-time switching data acquired by time-stretch dispersive Fourier transform spectroscopy and identify a universal bound-state formation mechanism different from broadly considered models. Owing to the ease of implementation and its intrinsic tunability, our control scheme is readily applicable to various laser platforms enabling, e.g., rapid multipulse measurements and tailored nonlinear light–matter interactions.

Polymeric Toroidal Self‐Assemblies: Diverse Formation Mechanisms and Functions

AbstractIn recent years, toroidal nanostructures have become an appealing topic in nanoscience owing to their unique structure and promising applications. Among them, polymeric toroidal self‐assemblies have attracted considerable attention because of their manipulability and diversity. Despite the substantial advances in the area of polymeric nanotoroids, the universal formation principles and functions of these toroids have not been sufficiently summarized. This article aims to review recent advances in the formation and function of polymeric nanotoroids. The significant role of theoretical simulations in revealing the formation mechanism and inherent structure of toroidal assemblies is emphasized. Additionally, a perspective on the challenges of this research field is addressed.

The Influence of the Peculiar Velocities of SNe Ia in Clusters of Galaxies on the Redshift Measurements

The most intriguing question of modern astronomy is the question of our Universe formation. The Hubble diagram analysis with Type Ia Supernovae (SNe Ia) is widely used to estimate the cosmological parameters with high accuracy. The cosmological measurements allow us to better understand the early stages of the Universe evolution. Nevertheless, the redshift on the SN Ia Hubble diagram includes the contribution from the unknown peculiar velocities that decreases the accuracy of such measurements. We consider the contamination of peculiar velocities of the host galaxies for those SNe that exploded in galaxy clusters. For this purpose, we use the Pantheon cosmological sample and offer the procedure to minimise the influence of such uncertainties.

Between Earth and Sky: Art and Architecture in Dialogue in the Work of Rui Chafes and Camilo Rebelo

In a former hotel, bought and remodeled by a seed Portuguese producer, in Switzerland, in one of the underground spaces, an architect and a sculptor, also Portuguese, worked together to give life to an egg-shaped space. A space born from the need to give hospitality to a sculpture, Semente by Rui Chafes, has become a pretext for the reflection on numerous themes; the creative and process interaction between art and architecture, the symbolic force of a form like the egg, the possibility of creating a place inside the space and out of time. This collaboration opens the doors to a second chance of project, the client is the same, the place is Portuguese: Grandola, in Alentejo. This time the theme is housing, a concept that brings with it a series of reflections on the relationship between the identity of the person who designs the space and who will then live in it. The collaboration of the two protagonists is measured on this occasion not only with elements experimented in the previous project (the matter, the material, the form), but also with the landscape (its heights, its extensions), with nature (the colors, the smells, the temperature), with the time that will pass and that will put all this to the test. The present text aims to analyze the artistic path of both architect and sculptor, starting from the story of these two occasions in which art and architecture reach a moment of harmonious tangency in the silence and universality of forms. This analysis will reflect on their creative modes, possibly trying to recognize similarities, tangencies or deep divergences. It will also be an opportunity to continue to reflect on the timeless question of the interconnection between art and architecture.

بين الفلسفة والدين في الثقافتين العربية والصينية / A Comparative Study of Philosophy and Religion in the Arab and Chinese Cultures

Abstract The study mainly deals with the most important features of Chinese philosophy by taking Taoism and Confucianism for example. The study looks into the similarities and differences between them and highlights the most important contents, style of expression and backgrounds for Chinese philosophy. The study also gives a brief presentation of Taoism and Confucianism’s view of religion and metaphysical issues, and compares these thoughts with the Islamic philosophy, through a brief study of their ideas about the nature of the universal principle, knowledge of this universal principle, creation and formation, and the relationship between the universal principle and human beings, morals, reward and punishment, the hereafter and the second life. The study ends with a call for the convergence and understanding of the two civilizations after centuries of unfamiliarity.

Experiences from Exporting Major Proof Assistant Libraries

The interoperability of proof assistants and the integration of their libraries is a highly valued but elusive goal in the field of theorem proving. As a preparatory step, in previous work, we translated the libraries of multiple proof assistants, specifically the ones of Coq, HOL Light, IMPS, Isabelle, Mizar, and PVS into a universal format: OMDoc/MMT. Each translation presented great theoretical, technical, and social challenges, some universal and some system-specific, some solvable and some still open. In this paper, we survey these challenges and compare and evaluate the solutions we chose. We believe similar library translations will be an essential part of any future system interoperability solution, and our experiences will prove valuable to others undertaking such efforts.

Signing and the Brain: The Importance of Early Education for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children

Language skills are developed as one is exposed to auditory input from birth to adolescence. However, a majority of deaf and hard-of-hearing (DHH) individuals do not receive adequate—or appropriate—guidance from their parents at an early age. Since the brain develops significantly during the early years of childhood, children need robust and persistent instruction to develop the ability to recognize language. DHH children who lack the ability to perceive audio and spoken language, the universal language format, have poor outcomes in the future. In fact, hearing-disabled Americans are more likely to be unemployed, imprisoned, or have poor physical health. This paper will discuss the obstacles DHH people face in society as well as introduce a program to improve the standard of living for the deaf community. It will focus on preventative methods, most importantly, the adoption of a visual language, to protect DHH children from facing major neurological issues that would intrude on their ability to communicate with others fluently.

ROLE OF METASUBJECT EDUCATIONAL RESULTS IN LEARNERS’ PROFESSIONAL SELF-CONSCIOUSNESS FORMATION

The article reveals the notion of metasubject educational results that are closely connected with the formation of universal skills necessary for a specialist in demand in the contemporary society.
 The purpose of the article is to identify the influence of metasubject results on the learners’ mastering of knowledge, abilities and skills as well as to establish the relationship between formed competences and learners’ professional self-consciousness development.
 Materials and methods are considered to be theoretical research of discussed notions, analyses of literature, generalization and systematization.
 Results. Metasubject results are considered to be cross-cutting educational results related to universal competences formation in accordance with educational programs of basic general education and complete secondary education.
 The emphasis is placed on the development of cognitive, informative, communicative and regulatory competences while the latter is viewed as indicator of direction of learners’ professional self-consciousness formation. The article touches upon the role of the teacher in the formation of competences and metasubject educational results necessary for learners’ professional self-consciousness growth.
 Conclusions. The educational process should be organized in such a way to develop skills and abilities of learners using the most effective motivating means. The development of competences is to promote metasubject results necessary for learners’ professional self-consciousness formation and growth.

FoodChain-Lab Web: An integrative modular software to visualise and analyse complex global food supply chain networks during foodborne incidents

In times of globalised food and feed trade, powerful integrative software tools are essential to solve foodborne crises quickly and reliably. The FoodChain-Lab web application (FCL Web; https://fcl-portal.bfr.berlin/) is such a tool. FCL Web is free and open-source software which helps to trace back and forward food along complex global supply chains during foodborne disease outbreaks or other food-related events. In the framework of One Health EJP COHESIVE, the efforts of several national and international tracing-related software projects are integrated within FCL Web to provide a modular tracing platform following the One Health approach. FCL Web unifies interactive tracing data visualisation, analysis as well as reporting - and in the future data collection - in one modular tracing platform (Fig. 1). The interactive analysis module was developed in a project with EFSA and offers automated visualisation of supply chains based on the needs of the user. A data table displays key information on involved food business operators and food items and includes comprehensive filter functions to analyse the information given in the table. The analysis module also helps to run simulations on hypothetical cross contamination or geographic clustering events during outbreaks via a scoring algorithm for deliveries and food business operators. A pilot version of a reporting module was integrated in FCL Web as well to display tracing, sample and case information in a format suitable for publishing tracing results in outbreak reports. A web-based tracing data collection mask offering a guided and structured data assessment with access to curated data was developed in a national project and will be integrated in FCL Web soon. Its multi-language design allows for potential European-wide use. In the future, more modules, e.g. to analyse genome sequencing data in the context of tracing are planned for FCL Web. With its features and its integrative approach, FCL Web blends seamlessly into a list of crucial tracing tool projects in Europe. In the future, these tools will be strongly interconnected to serve several tracing purposes on the local, national or European level. Hence, there is a need to improve interoperability of the tools e.g. via a universal data exchange format.

Py4DSTEM: A Software Package for Four-Dimensional Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy Data Analysis

Scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) allows for imaging, diffraction, and spectroscopy of materials on length scales ranging from microns to atoms. By using a high-speed, direct electron detector, it is now possible to record a full two-dimensional (2D) image of the diffracted electron beam at each probe position, typically a 2D grid of probe positions. These 4D-STEM datasets are rich in information, including signatures of the local structure, orientation, deformation, electromagnetic fields, and other sample-dependent properties. However, extracting this information requires complex analysis pipelines that include data wrangling, calibration, analysis, and visualization, all while maintaining robustness against imaging distortions and artifacts. In this paper, we present py4DSTEM, an analysis toolkit for measuring material properties from 4D-STEM datasets, written in the Python language and released with an open-source license. We describe the algorithmic steps for dataset calibration and various 4D-STEM property measurements in detail and present results from several experimental datasets. We also implement a simple and universal file format appropriate for electron microscopy data in py4DSTEM, which uses the open-source HDF5 standard. We hope this tool will benefit the research community and help improve the standards for data and computational methods in electron microscopy, and we invite the community to contribute to this ongoing project.

Key technologies analysis and design of ultra-clean & ultra-stable spacecraft for gravitational wave detection

The observation of gravitational wave enables human to explore the origin, formation and evolution of universe governed by the gravitational interaction and the nature of gravity beyond general theory of relativity. The groundbreaking discovery of Gravitational Wave by Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory provides a brand-new observation way. While detecting gravitational wave on ground is limited by noises and test scale, space detection is an optimized alternative to learn rich sources in range of 0.1 mHz–1 Hz. Considering the great significance of space gravitational wave detection, ESA proposed LISA project, CAS also proposed Taiji project. Due to the extremely weak gravitational wave signal and high measurement accuracy requirement, the spaceborne GW observation antenna is accomplished by three spacecrafts constitute isosceles triangle formation intersatellite interferometer. The arm length of the interferometer reaches millions of kilometers between them, and the measurement accuracy reaches pico-meter magnitude. There are many key technologies including pm magnitude space laser interferometer metrology, drag-free control using TM of Gravity Reference Sensor, [Formula: see text]N micro thruster, ultra-clean & ultra-stable spacecraft, etc. This paper focuses on key technologies of the ultra-clean & ultra-stable spacecraft, analyzing the design of mechanical, thermal control and magnetic clean. Moreover, it reports the preliminary results of the technological breakthrough.

Opportunities of the discipline of «Training professional communication» in the formation of students' universal competences

The indication of the need for the formation of universal competencies in students in the current FSES HE 3++ has activated the scientific and pedagogical community to search for ways to solve this problem. The article reveals the possibilities of the «Training professional communication» discipline in the formation of universal competencies in the process of professional training of bachelors at a university in the direction of 44.03.02 «Psychological and pedagogical education», «Psychology and Social Pedagogy» direction. The purpose of the research is to reveal the experience of the formation of universal competencies in students as a factor in increasing the effectiveness of the educational process. The research methods are represented by a set of theoretical methods of cognition, such as generalization, design, comparison, forecasting. The research results. The category «universal competences» and its indicators have been clarified; the planned learning outcomes in the discipline of «Training professional communication» in the context of a competence-oriented approach have been proposed, a criterion scale for assessing UC-3 universal competence formation in the field of training of 44.03.02 «Psychological and pedagogical education» in the framework of the discipline of «Training professional communication» has been developed. Key findings: universal competencies are certain qualities, types of behavior that people tend to exhibit, striving to achieve work goals; the list of planned learning outcomes in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education 3++ correlates with indicators of achievement of each universal competence through the triad «knows; knows how; owns» for each indicator of achievement of competencies. The criterion scale for assessing UK-3 universal competence formation in the corresponding direction of training includes four levels: unsatisfactory, satisfactory, good and excellent, which are revealed in the process of current and intermediate control of knowledge among students in an academic discipline.

From the Contraction of Celestial Bodies to Their Shortest Rotation Period until the Heating of the Stars and the Universe Global Theory

Tools for Remote Exploration: A Lithium (Li) Dedicated Spectral Library of the Fregeneda–Almendra Aplite–Pegmatite Field

The existence of diagnostic features in the visible and infrared regions makes it possible to use reflectance spectra not only to identify mineral assemblages but also for calibration and classification of satellite images, considering lithological and/or mineral mapping. For this purpose, a consistent spectral library with the target spectra of minerals and rocks is needed. Currently, there is big market pressure for raw materials including lithium (Li) that has driven new satellite image applications for Li exploration. However, there are no reference spectra for petalite (a Li mineral) in large, open spectral datasets. In this work, a spectral library was built exclusively dedicated to Li minerals and Li pegmatite exploration through satellite remote sensing. The database includes field and laboratory spectra collected in the Fregeneda–Almendra region (Spain–Portugal) from (i) distinct Li minerals (spodumene, petalite, lepidolite); (ii) several Li pegmatites and other outcropping lithologies to allow satellite-based lithological mapping; (iii) areas previously misclassified as Li pegmatites using machine learning algorithms to allow comparisons between these regions and the target areas. Ancillary data include (i) sample location and coordinates, (ii) sample conditions, (iii) sample color, (iv) type of face measured, (v) equipment used, and for the laboratory spectra, (vi) sample photographs, (vii) continuum removed spectra files, and (viii) statistics on the main absorption features automatically extracted. The potential future uses of this spectral library are reinforced by its major advantages: (i) data is provided in a universal file format; (ii) it allows users to compare field and laboratory spectra; (iii) a large number of complementary data allow the comparison of shape, asymmetry, and depth of the absorption features of the distinct Li minerals.

Dynamic Time-Warping Correction for Shifts in Ultrahigh Resolving Power Ion Mobility Spectrometry and Structures for Lossless Ion Manipulations.

Detection of arrival time shifts between ion mobility spectrometry (IMS) separations can limit achievable resolving power (Rp), particularly when multiple separations are summed or averaged, as commonly practiced in IMS. Such variations can be apparent in higher Rp measurements and are particularly evident in long path length traveling wave structures for lossless ion manipulations (SLIM) IMS due to their typically much longer separation times. Here, we explore data processing approaches employing single value alignment (SVA) and nonlinear dynamic time warping (DTW) to correct for variations between IMS separations, such as due to pressure fluctuations, to enable more effective spectrum summation for improving Rp and detection of low-intensity species. For multipass SLIM IMS separations, where narrow mobility range measurements have arrival times that can extend to several seconds, the SVA approach effectively corrected for such variations and significantly improved Rp for summed separations. However, SVA was much less effective for broad mobility range separations, such as obtained with multilevel SLIM IMS. Changes in ions' arrival times were observed to be correlated with small pressure changes, with approximately 0.6% relative arrival time shifts being common, sufficient to result in a loss of Rp for summed separations. Comparison of the approaches showed that DTW alignment performed similarly to SVA when used over a narrow mobility range but was significantly better (providing narrower peaks and higher signal intensities) for wide mobility range data. We found that the DTW approach increased Rp by as much as 115% for measurements in which 50 IMS separations over 2 s were summed. We conclude that DTW is superior to SVA for ultra-high-resolution broad mobility range SLIM IMS separations and leads to a large improvement in effective Rp, correcting for ion arrival time shifts regardless of the cause, as well as improving the detectability of low-abundance species. Our tool is publicly available for use with universal ion mobility format (.UIMF) and text (.txt) files.
