The article reveals the issues of revival (renaissance) of natural philosophy and natural philosophical approach to the connection of being, matter and consciousness as a methodological basis in determining the connection between nature and society, laws of existence and laws of society (including human rights and laws). Separating law and legislation, the authors emphasize not only the systemic relationship of various social norms and laws, but also the full hierarchy of norms of social regulation. The purpose of this study is to establish the integrity and unity of all Being, with which law and legislation are inextricably linked. The publication is based on an integrative research methodology. For the first time in the legal and philosophical-legal literature the question of Universal (space) laws as a source of law and law is raised, which determines the scientific novelty of the presented material. The conclusions emphasize that today there is the latest synthesis of philosophy, natural, social and human sciences and knowledge derived from them. In connection with this methodological process, it is necessary to consider law and laws (legal) in the relationship, integrity and unity with the universal (space) and natural laws.Keywords: legislation; law; ethics; being; metaphysics; society; thinkers about being.

In the previous lectures, which made up the cycle “Classics of Russian Music of the 20th Century”, the works of Sergei Rachmaninov, Igor Stravinsky, Sergei Prokofiev, Nikolai Myaskovsky, Dmitry Shostakovich, Aram Khachaturian, Georgy Sviridov, Rodion Shchedrin and Alfred Schnittke were examined. Let us supplement this panorama with two final lectures: the first is intended to extend the range of composers’ names, the second will be devoted to an overview of 20th century music with an outlet into the universal space. As it is well-known, since the time of Peter the Great, who established St. Petersburg, two capitals coexisted in Russia, each of which possessed its own face and style, among other things, in the creation of music. By the end of the 19th century, two compositional schools had developed: the St. Petersburg school, the core of which was the “Mighty Handful”, and the Moscow school, headed by Piotr Tchaikovsky. During the 20th century, these schools continued their fruitful interaction. Among the names presented in the main sections of my lectures, Stravinsky, Prokofiev, Myaskovsky, Shostakovich, Sviridov began their activities in St. Petersburg- Petrograd-Leningrad, and later they became Muscovites (except for Stravinsky, who lived abroad from the early 1910s). In the second half of the 20th century, the leaders of the musical process in Russia were the Moscow composers Rodion Shchedrin and Alfred Schnittke, along with whom many other names can be mentioned, including Edison Denisov, Sofia Gubaidulina and Vladimir Martynov. Representatives of the Leningrad school continued to make a significant contribution to the treasury of Russian music. The following short overviews of the works of Sergei Slonimsky and Valery Gavrilin will testify to this. In addition to the two capitals, composers from a number of other cities in Russia, primarily, those with conservatories, have worked tirelessly in the field of the art of music, which has significantly expanded the scale of the panorama of the musical art in our country — the creative heritage of Elena Gokhman is cited as a characteristic example.

Small forms in the landscape of modern urban city parks

Today, the culture of modern parks and landscaping is relevant and rapidly developing. A modern park is not just a green area for recreation in the spatial environment of the city, it is a zone of comfort, aesthetics, ecology, engineering innovations, landscape design, sports and walks, a world of interests, it is a harmony of nature, space, small architectural forms. The article analyzes a number of modern Russian parks from the point of view of the spatial organization, mass and cultural recreation places, the scale of territories and volumes, recreational areas for their intended purpose, landscaping and regional aspects. The author also considers the methods of creating an aesthetically harmonious territory, built with smooth transitions from human-made objects to wildlife. The task is to identify the main trends in the organization of the spatial environment of the city park, taking into account the aesthetics of the architectural complex, to track how effectively regional projects of landscaping are implemented in practice. A modern park is a comfortable public all-year-round universal space.

Genericity of chaos for colored graphs

Abstract To each colored graph one can associate its closure in the universal space of isomorphism classes of pointed colored graphs, and this subspace can be regarded as a generalized subshift. Based on this correspondence, we introduce two definitions for chaotic (colored) graphs, one of them analogous to Devaney’s. We show the equivalence of our two novel definitions of chaos, proving their topological genericity in various subsets of the universal space.

Towards Strategic Reengineering the Global Computer Environment for Control of Sustainable Development of Social Systems

Abstract This article presents a study of the general trends of expansion of the global computer environment (GCE) as the primary tool of global digitalization and its impact on social systems. The authors identify and analyze the causes of intra-system imbalances in GCE development and their destructive impact on social systems development sustainability. They show ways to eliminate the combinatorial barriers of the complexity of network resources integration by eliminating the fundamental causes of GCE’s heterogeneity and forming in the GCE a universal algorithmic space of distributed computing based on computers with the non-microprocessor architecture.

The Mirković–Vilonen basis and Duistermaat–Heckman measures

Using the geometric Satake correspondence, the Mirkovic-Vilonen cycles in the affine Grasssmannian give bases for representations of a semisimple group G . We prove that these bases are perfect, i.e. compatible with the action of the Chevelley generators of the positive half of the Lie algebra g. We compute this action in terms of intersection multiplicities in the affine Grassmannian. We prove that these bases stitch together to a basis for the algebra C[N] of regular functions on the unipotent subgroup. We compute the multiplication in this MV basis using intersection multiplicities in the Beilinson-Drinfeld Grassmannian, thus proving a conjecture of Anderson. In the third part of the paper, we define a map from C[N] to a convolution algebra of measures on the dual of the Cartan subalgebra of g. We characterize this map using the universal centralizer space of G. We prove that the measure associated to an MV basis element equals the Duistermaat-Heckman measure of the corresponding MV cycle. This leads to a proof of a conjecture of Muthiah. Finally, we use the map to measures to compare the MV basis and Lusztig's dual semicanonical basis. We formulate conjectures relating the algebraic invariants of preprojective algebra modules (which underlie the dual semicanonical basis) and geometric invariants of MV cycles. In the appendix, we use these ideas to prove that the MV basis and the dual semicanonical basis do not coincide in SL_6.

APPLICATION OF DEPLOYABLE BAR STRUCTURES IN ARCHITECTURE: PROPOSAL FOR UNIVERSAL MULTIFUNCIONAL MODULE

Deployable bar structures are made of lightweight materials, and that is one of the reason why they do not require high transportation costs, are easy to assemble (by unfolding) and disassemble (by folding) and are able to successfully respond to many requirements when in the shortest possible time it is necessary to provide architectural structures for various purposes. In this paper, the deployable bar structures are analyzed with the aim of forming a universal multifunctional space which could be used as a facility for temporary housing, healthcare, education and similar purposes. Due to the fact that geometric shape of a certain space significantly determines the function of that space, and the way it is used, detailed analyses of the geometric shapes of these structures have been conducted. Comparison of the forms explored so far with the existing architectural deployable bar structures has resulted in two distinct geometric forms: singly curved (barrel vault) and doubly curved (dome). It was concluded that the application of these forms in the form of freestanding modules provides limited opportunities for organizing functional content due to the specific locations of certain connections between elements, as well as the complicated design process. This is one of the reasons for rare application of these structures in architecture. The proposal of a multifunctional “Universal module 6” which consists of unified singly curved modules in combination with doubly curved and prismatic forms came as a result of the conducted analyses. Proposals for forming more complex architectural spaces of higher capacity provide a wider range of applications of these structures and opens new possibilities for their use.

The Socio-Environmental Metamorphoses: U.A.E. as a Case Study

This paper explores the relationship between the tangible objects reflecting the use of the space and the cultural aspects expressing the identity of the place. The importance of the public spaces in the communication of identity might be seen as one aspect of the area of research into the meaning of the urban space and its relationship to the physical form of housing in the U.A.E. It is assumed that the physical form of the urban space mediates and structures gender relations. This will be illuminated by elements of the urban development and particularly of the urban activities, and an explanation of its relationship to changing ideologies and architectural norms. Typically, the urban and public places symbolize accepted notions of the appropriate function of the gathering spaces and preferred public relations, such notions are in themselves profoundly important in structuring gender relations. The city of today differs from its past in several respects: size and scale, street layout, land use patterns, architectural style and type of housing. Traditional urban form and building which would have provided information about regional and national identity have been largely replaced by forms characterizing the international and universal buildings and spaces. These changes have altered the city’s form and have given rise to questions about the impact of these changes on the image of the city in terms of size and cultural values.

Universal Open Space Design to Inform Digital Technologies for a Disability-Inclusive Place-Making on the Example of Hungary

This study explores the ‘people’ and ‘place’ components of the smart city concept in order to inform its third component, ‘technology’, for augmented disability inclusion. The research objective was to reveal the capability of the universal open space design (UOSD) method in classifying key spatial factors according to their type of digital applicability as a channel or subject for information and communication technologies (ICTs). Results were derived from three Hungarian design projects presented as case studies, using the research through design (RtD) method. User needs and usage patterns, open space environmental components and types according to their tolerance towards physical modification, and relevant disability-related concepts linked to UOSD were hierarchized and interrelated to digital technologies that can replace or complement the environmental components. Findings were represented in the spatial Maslow pyramid of user needs related to the relevant spatial design concepts, open spaces public services, and digital technologies. The results showed that upper (less basic) levels of the digital Maslow pyramid related to public services other than transport and concepts other than physical accessibility lack digital completion or replacement. In particular, a more detailed and consistent knowledge about spatial–digital interrelations for sensory accessibility should be incorporated into the practical and theoretical background of “smart” UOSD. In conclusion, this paper demonstrates how the combination of the concepts of UOSD and the smart city support a more complex disability-inclusive experience in an interconnected physical, sociocultural, and digital network of open spaces.

Master Plan for the Loughborough University of Technology: An Endless Campus?

The Master Plan for the Loughborough University of Technology is a 143-page document that gathers the work undertaken by the institution to become a university, thus benefiting from the educational policies derived from the 1963 Robbins report in Britain. Arup Associates authored in 1966 a proposal whose main characteristic is its ascription to an infinite grid strategy and a systematized project. The different diagrams and growth schemes represent the geometric synthesis of some compositional and constructive rules: three grids overlap to produce a germ drawing to which a growth pattern is added for its territorial extension. For the sake of flexibility and adaptability, the project tries to avoid architectural obsolescence through the achievement of a “universal space unit”. Hence, a “discipline” is established whose definition turns out to be a succession of limitations. Through the reconstruction of the design process for the Loughborough University, the multiple meanings of the limit concept are portrayed in parallel to its idea of ​​a continuous and endless campus. A strict internal order, an intentionally open reading of the territory and a constructive standardization produce a kind of visual exhaustion of the whole that could be understood as a limit of spatial nature.

Through-classification of zoning-landscape object-spatial environmental systems in the structure of stopping spaces

Landscape and zoning-landscape systems in the structure of stop-territorial spaces of cities and settlements of different levels of hierarchy are considered. Purpose of the article is to define the through classification of these landscapes, stop-landscape and zoning-landscape systems. These systems are considered from the standpoint of the hierarchical manifestation of the constituent elements of the stop-territorial spaces. In the general case, each landscape, stop-landscape and zoning-landscape system takes into account the peculiarities of perception and disclosure of stop-territorial spaces. The stop-landscape system is generalized in the case of zoning-landscape object-spatial environmental ZLOSE-system. The latter, in turn, is a subsystem of the universal ZLOSUE-system. In the ZLOSE-system, at least one more parameter (for example, light-color or sound) of the universal space of sensations of the “average” person is added to the consideration of landscape, stop-landscape and zoning-landscape parameters. According to the generalized 9-zone distribution of “stop space”, 9 generalized types of landscape, stop-landscape and zoning-landscape systems of “stop space” are formed accordingly. These are the following ZLOSE-systems: I) landscape, stop-landscape and zoning-landscape systems of the “ultra-zone”; II) landscape, stop-landscape and zoning-landscape systems of "core"; III) landscape, stop-landscape and zoning-landscape systems of “stop space”; IV) landscape, stop-landscape, “landscape” and zoningovo V) landscape, stop-landscape and zoning-landscape systems “near-stop space”; VI) landscape, stop-landscape and zoning-landscape systems “around-stop space”; VII) landscape, stop-landscape and “landscape systems zones”, VIII) landscape, stop-landscape and zoning-landscape systems of the “red zone”; and IX) landscape, stop-landscape and zoning-landscape systems of the “infra-zone”. Conclusion. The harmonization of space on the basis of consideration and harmonization of light-colored object-spatial environmental systems and their subsystems in the structure of stop-territorial spaces contributes to the harmonization of the living environment of the population of demo-ecosystems. In turn, this harmonization contributes to improving the quality of life of the population (in particular, users of the stop and the entire stop-territorial space).

A barrier-free urban space as an indicator of exercising the right to the city by individuals with disabilities

This article looks at urban space through the lens of reimagining the status of individuals with disabilities as people with health issues. Today, they are viewed as a social group who claims their right to the city and to barrier-free urban space, and who is characterized by social interaction. The paper argues for an urgent need of creating universal inclusive spaces and specific areas on the city map which would address special needs of individuals with different forms of disability. The results of a survey of individuals with disabilities, residing in the City of Yekaterinburg and Sverdlovsk Region, as well as expert interviews with representatives of local and regional authorities, indicate that the public bodies are aware of the needs of individuals with disabilities and making attempts to address the requests of this group. The respondents identified the following key problem areas: difficulties of moving around the city, a lack of barrier-free access into buildings, and a lack of sanitary facilities in the visited organizations.

On Topologized Fundamental Groups and Covering Groups of Topological Groups

We show that every topological group is a strong small loop transfer space at the identity element. This implies that for a connected locally path connected topological group G, the universal path space $$\widetilde{G}_{e}$$ equipped with the quotient topology induced by the compact-open topology on P(G, e) is a topological group. Moreover, we prove that there is a one-to-one correspondence between the equivalence classes of connected covering groups of G and the subgroups of $$\pi _{1}(G,e)$$ that contain $$i_*(\pi _{1}(U,e))$$ for some open neighborhood U of the identity element e.

On the moduli spaces of singular principal bundles on stable curves

Abstract We prove the existence of a linearization for singular principal G-bundles not depending on the base curve. This allow us to construct the relative compact moduli space of δ-(semi)stable singular principal G-bundles over families of reduced projective and connected nodal curves, and to reduce the construction of the universal moduli space over 𝓜 g to the construction of the universal moduli space of swamps.

Teichmüller spaces and coefficient problems for univalent holomorphic functions

We show that the features of Teichmuller spaces give rise to a completely new powerful tool for solving the classical coefficient problems in geometric function theory. Here we concern the univalent functions. Using the Bers isomorphism theorem for Teichmuller spaces of punctured Riemann surfaces and some of their other complex geometric features, we prove a general theorem on maximization of homogeneous polynomial (in fact, more general holomorphic) coefficient functionals $$J(f) = J(a_{m_1}, a_{m_2},\dots , a_{m_n}) $$ on some classes of univalent functions in the unit disk naturally connected with the canonical class S. The given functional J is lifted to the Teichmuller space $$\mathbf{T}_1$$ of the punctured disk $$\mathbb {D}_{*} = \{0< |z| < 1\}$$ which is biholomorphically equivalent to the Bers fiber space over the universal Teichmuller space. This generates a positive subharmonic function on the disk $$\{|t| < 4\}$$ with $$\sup _{|t|<4} u(t) = \max _{{\mathbf {T}}_1} |J|$$ attaining this maximal value only on the boundary circle, which correspond to rotations of the Koebe function. This theorem implies new sharp distortion estimates for univalent functions giving explicitly the extremal functions, and creates a new bridge between Teichmuller space theory and geometric complex analysis. In particular, it provides an alternate and direct proof of the Bieberbach conjecture.

Fast design of plasmonic metasurfaces enabled by deep learning

Metasurfaces is an emerging field that enables the manipulation of light by an ultra-thin structure composed of sub-wavelength antennae and fulfills an important requirement for miniaturized optical elements. Finding a new design for a metasurface or optimizing an existing design for a desired functionality is a computationally expensive and time consuming process as it is based on an iterative process of trial and error. We propose a deep learning (DL) architecture dubbed bidirectional autoencoder for nanophotonic metasurface design via a template search methodology. In contrast with the earlier approaches based on DL, our methodology addresses optimization in the space of multiple metasurface topologies instead of just one, in order to tackle the one to many mapping problem of inverse design. We demonstrate the creation of a Geometry and Parameter Space Library (GPSL) of metasurface designs with their corresponding optical response using our DL model. This GPSL acts as a universal design and response space for the optimization. As an example application, we use our methodology to design a multi-band gap-plasmon based half-wave plate metasurface. Through this example, we demonstrate the power of our technique in addressing the non-uniqueness problem of common inverse design. Our network converges aptly to multiple metasurface topologies for the desired optical response with a low mean absolute error between desired optical response and the optical response of topologies searched. Our proposed technique would enable fast and accurate design and optimization of various kinds of metasurfaces with different functionalities.

Assessing protopectin transformation potential of plant tissue using a zoned criterion space

Introduction. The existing diversity of plant raw materials and products predetermine the prospects of studying their potential as sources of pectin substances. However all current classifications are either fragmented or inconsistent.&#x0D; Study objects and methods. Our theoretical ivestigation aimed to develop an adequate classification for all taxa of plant origin, as well as their tissues and derivatives as pectin-containing materials. We developed criteria for assessing transformation potential of the protopectin complex based on the mass fractions of biologically active non-uronide components, native water-soluble pectin, the protopectin complex, and pectin substances. Individual boundary conditions were based on individual pectin potential, protopectin fragmentation potential, and pectin isolation potential.&#x0D; Results and discussion. Based on the boundary conditions, we defined an universal criterion space that included a set of points M in the coordinates expressed by three main criteria. According to individual boundary conditions, the criterion space was divided, or zoned, into four domains corresponding to protopectin fragmentation potential. They were characterized by: 1) lack of pectin potential, 2) ineffective protopectin fragmentation, 3) ineffective isolation of fragmentation products, and 4) effective isolation. Finally, we developed a generalized algorithm to determine the location of points M[μ1, μ2 , μ3 ] in the zoned criterion space, characterizing the plant tissue.&#x0D; Conclusion. Our approach can be used to assess any plant tissue for its protopectin transformation potential, which determines the technological influence on its pectin potential. This approach is universal, i.e., applicable to both plant tissue and its derivatives.

Towards a universal digital chemical space for pure component properties prediction

Computer-aided molecular design requires the ability to predict different molecular properties of interesting from using molecular structure. Traditional quantitative structural property relations were developed by extracting molecular features for predicting various properties. Hence domains of molecular features are different for predictions of different properties. In this work, the concept of a universal translator was used to develop a universal digital chemical space by translating and projecting the chemical representation SMILES to a high-dimensional space that can be collapsed into different molecular fingerprints. We demonstrated different kinds of pure component properties, such as electrical and thermodynamic properties can be predicted by a simple input of molecular structure, SMILES. This method eliminates the need to manually extract different molecular features for predicting different properties. The ability of model to predict sigma profiles also pave the way of prediction phase equilibria of mixtures using molecular structure only.

Network evaluation and protocol deployment for complex deep-space networks based on DTN

Previous research on deep-space networks based on delay-tolerant networking (DTN) has mainly focused on the performance of DTN protocols in simple networks; hence, research on complex networks is lacking. In this paper, we focus on network evaluation and protocol deployment for complex DTN-based deep-space networks and apply the results to a novel complex deep-space network based on the Universal Interplanetary Communication Network (UNICON-CDSN) proposed by the National Space Science Center (NSSC) for simulation and verification. A network evaluation method based on network capacity and memory analysis is proposed. Based on a performance comparison between the Licklider Transmission Protocol (LTP) and the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) with the Bundle Protocol (BP) in various communication scenarios, a transport protocol configuration proposal is developed and used to construct an LTP deployment scheme for UNICON-CDSN. For the LTP deployment scheme, a theoretical model of file delivery time over complex deep-space networks is built. A network evaluation with the method proposed in this paper proves that UNICON-CDSN satisfies the requirements for the 2020 Mars exploration mission Curiosity. Moreover, simulation results from a universal space communication network testbed (USCNT) designed by us show that the LTP deployment scheme is suitable for UNICON-CDSN.

The Tragedy of a Whistleblower. Adamczewski’s &lt;i&gt;Tragic Protest&lt;/i&gt; and the Case of Chelsea Manning

Bringing most carefully guarded secrets into light, political whistleblowers deconstruct the essential oppositions upon which superpower ideologies are founded: they draw popular attention to what has been relegated to the margins of the dominant discourses. Torpedoing the reputations of the most powerful organizations in the world, and well aware of the inevitability of retaliation, they put themselves in a most precarious position. Fighting against impossible odds in the name of the greater good, facing the gravity of the consequences, they become heroes in the classical sense of the word: arguably, their dilemmas are not unlike those faced by Antigone, Hamlet and other iconic figures in history, literature and mythology. Such is the central premise of this article. The methodological frame for the analysis of the material in this study has been adopted from Zygmunt Adamczewski’s The Tragic Protest, whose theory, bringing together classical and modern approaches to tragedy, allows for the extrapolation of the principles underlying the protest of such iconic figures as Prometheus, Orestes, Faust, Hamlet, Thomas Stockman or Willy Loman to discourses outside the grand narratives of culture. His theory of the tragic protest serves as a tool facilitating the identification of the features of a quintessential tragic protester, which Adamczewski attains by means of the study of the defining traits of mythological and literary tragic heroes. It is against such a backdrop that I adapt and apply Adamczewski’s model to the study of materials related to Chelsea Manning in search of parallels that locate her own form of protest in the universal space of tragedy.
