Statistical Analysis of Total Quality Management Employees, Customers, Suppliers, and Management Dimensions in Hotel Industries in Jaipur City, Rajasthan, India

With the market competition, hotel industries focus on the quality requirements of customers and the market. To build total quality management (TQM) in the hotel industry value chain, the hotel industries are focusing on the customers, suppliers, employees, and management dimensions of TQM. The purpose of this study is to analyze the priorities of these TQM dimensions or philosophies in hotel industries in Jaipur City, Rajasthan, India. The study adopts a survey approach for identifying the priorities given by the hotel industries to build total quality management in the hotel value chain. The results show that the hotel industries weigh all four dimensions for total quality management. The customers’ dimensions are the first and most important dimension, then management dimensions, then employees’ dimensions, and the suppliers’ dimensions for total quality management in hotel industries. A collaborative strategic approach by the hotel management, involving customers, suppliers, and employees, has to be adopted to design the hotel industry value chain to meet the business sustainability requirements, and customers’ requirements, and to gain the competitive advantage of TQM. The study also highlights that integration of sustainability with the TQM framework is essential for the hotel industry as it enhances operational efficiency and reduces environmental impact. This approach will support long-term profitability and align with increasing customer demand for sustainable practices in the tourism and hospitality sector.

The Mediating Role of Hard Quality Management in the Relationship Between Soft Quality Management and Innovation Performance

Purpose - Hard and soft quality management are known as two important dimensions of total quality management (TQM) that can improve the performance of manufacturing and service organizations. The paper aims to examine the effect of soft quality management (soft QM) on innovation performance (IP) with the mediating role of hard quality management (hard QM). Design/Methodology - A questionnaire was designed for the model test and distributed among 130 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Golpayegan industrial town located in Iran. PLS-SEM was used to analyze the data.Findings - The results showed that soft QM affects hard QM and IP. Also, the impact of hard QM on IP was confirmed. The mediating role of hard QM in the relationship between soft QM and IP was also confirmed.Practical Implications - The findings of this research encourage managers of SMEs to focus attention on hard and soft QM simultaneously to improve innovation performance in companies.

Perceived Staff Motivation on the Adoption of Total Quality Management Practices in Nigeria

This study explores the relationship between employee motivation and the effective adoption of Total Quality Management (TQM) within modern organizational contexts in Nigeria. TQM, renowned for its all-encompassing strategy for continual enhancement, is widely recognized for its positive impact on product and service quality, employee involvement, and overall organizational effectiveness. Despite these well-documented benefits, the pivotal role of motivation in cultivating a TQM culture represents a critical yet insufficiently examined dimension. This study adopts a quantitative method using a closed-ended self-administered questionnaire to investigate the connections between motivation and TQM. The research focuses on assessing the levels of employee motivation within organizations practising TQM principles. It examines the resulting impact on various TQM dimensions, such as employee involvement and service quality. The findings revealed that staff motivation through intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation significantly affects the involvement of employees and the service quality of the selected deposit money banks in the Ilorin metropolis. The findings of this research highlight the importance of motivation in influencing TQM practices. Organizations should be mindful of the balance between intrinsic and extrinsic motivators to foster a work environment that promotes long-term commitment and performance. Practically, the results can guide organizations in developing and implementing strategies to motivate staff in a way that supports the successful implementation of TQM practices. The findings contributed significantly to the existing body of knowledge by elucidating the critical role motivation plays in shaping TQM practices.

Re-examining the quality management and firm performance relationships: meta-analytical investigation on moderating effects of national culture differences

PurposeIn the last 3 decades, organization-wide programs and practices based on the Total Quality Management (TQM) philosophy have become central to continuous improvement (CI) strategy in both public and private enterprises. However, there is paradoxical evidence of TQM-firm performance linkage in non-Japanese contexts. This study presents a meta-analysis of empirical research on TQM-firm performance linkage and investigates the moderating influence of national cultural (NC) values on this relationship.Design/methodology/approachMeta-analytical procedures are adopted to analyse 364 effects accumulated from 135 independent samples across 31 nations, for 30,015 firm observations. Additionally, weighted least square (WLS) meta-regression is used to test the moderation effects of four NC dimensions based on the Global Leadership and Organizational Behavior Effectiveness (GLOBE) model.FindingsThe meta-analysis results reveal that the strengths of the association varied across five soft and hard TQM dimensions and three firm performance dimensions Meta-regression indicate that the effectiveness of the TQM program is high in cultures which reward collectivist behaviours, equity of power distribution and avoidance of ambiguity in rules/structures.Originality/valueThe study contributes to international operational management theory on cultural influences on the effectiveness of operations strategies and decisions.

Asymmetrical effect of total quality management on organisational citizenship behaviour for the environment: mediated by environmental corporate social responsibility

PurposeThe current study used the social exchange theory to examine the dimensional impact of total quality management (TQM) on the organisational citizenship behaviour for the environment (OCBE) of employees through the mediatory role of environmental corporate social responsibility (ECSR).Design/methodology/approachThe data were collected from 311 employees of ISO-14001-certified manufacturing firms in Pakistan. Both symmetrical partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) and asymmetrical fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) methods were applied to test the proposed hypotheses to enhance the robustness of the results.FindingsPLS-SEM results discovered that all dimensions of TQM, like process management, leadership, human resource management, customer focus, information and analysis and strategic planning, foster the OCBE through the mediation role of ECSR. The robustness of the findings was manifold when fsQCA results complemented the results by discovering that all six dimensions have been identified as sufficient conditions and some as necessary conditions to drive the OCBE.Originality/valueThe theoretical contribution of this study sheds light on TQM's function in boosting OCBE through the mediation of ECSR. Practically, the business managers may utilise TQM as a strategy to foster the OCBE in order to mitigate environmental damages of their organisations’ operations by instilling OCBE among the employees.

Applying the Dimensions of the Total Quality Management as an Approach for Improving the Performance of the Public Administration – from the Perspective of the Employees at the Ministry of Social Affairs in Kuwait

Purpose: The present study aimed to answer the main question that is related to the extent of applying the dimensions of the total quality management at the Ministry of Social Affairs in Kuwait. It also aimed to identify the challenges faced by the Ministry of Social Affairs in Kuwait when applying those dimensions. Theoretical Framework: It is divided into two main parts that are preceded by the background of the study. Those two main parts are followed with the (conclusion) part. The first part includes a conceptual framework about total quality management (TQM). It includes a discussion about the meaning of the term (total quality management). It identifies the dimensions of total quality management. The second part of the study presents the results of the field investigation. Those results identify the views of the employees at the Ministry of Social Affairs in Kuwait about the application of the dimensions of the total quality management. Method/design/approach: When passing the questionnaire forms, the researcher of the present study made sure that the sampled employees at the Ministry of Social Affairs at Kuwait vary in terms of characteristics. He passed questionnaire forms to 600 employees at the latter ministry. The latter employees represent 10 % of all the employees who were working at the latter ministry during the period (May, 2023 – August, 2023). 507 questionnaire forms were retrieved. After examining the retrieved forms, it was found that 400 forms are fully answered. Results and conclusion: The researcher of the present study reached several results. Those results reflect the weakness of the process of applying the dimensions of the total quality management at the Ministry of Social Affairs in Kuwait. Research implications: The researcher concentrates on testing the dimensions of the total quality management as an approach for improving the performance of the public administration. Sustainable development of the company on the basis of soft total quality management

The article is concerned with studying the impact of soft components of total quality management (TQM) on the company’s environmental and social sustainability. The subject of the research is a set of theoretical, methodical and practical recommendations for implementing the concept of total quality management to ensure sustainable development of a company. The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate and develop practical recommendations for identifying the impact of soft TQM on the sustainable development of a company. Achievement of this goal is ensured by fulfilling the following interrelated tasks: to summarise the existing soft TQM practices in the research of scientists, to allocate the features of soft TQM functioning in Ukrainian companies and their success in achieving environmental and social sustainability, to develop recommendations for improving the level of environmental and social sustainability of companies through the implementation of soft TQM practices. The research used general scientific and special methods of cognition: structural-logical, systemic and process approaches, the method of generalisation and comparison, questionnaires, methods of correlation and regression analysis, logical method, method of tabular presentation of data, scientific generalisation. The following results have been obtained: having analysed the work of scientists on the research’s subject, the work of the European Foundation for Quality Management, the aspects of TQM that cover the company’s business activities, as well as the problems that are specific to each of them, have been identified. To identify the level of implementation of detailed issues, a questionnaire was developed and completed by the heads of 68 Ukrainian companies between November 2022 and March 2023. It included a Likert scale assessment of each of the soft TQM dimensions (business management system, HR practices, continuously evolving processes, leading procurement procedures, stakeholder identification, and product competitiveness) based on 28 statements. Five hypotheses were proposed based on the literature on the research topic and our own analytical developments. The data obtained in the course of the survey were analysed using correlation and regression analyses. The results show that two practices – business management systems and human resource management practices – are related to environmental sustainability, while only the business management system is related to social sustainability. The article provides recommendations for supporting the sustainable development of the company. Conclusions. The study demonstrates the effectiveness of TQM practices in ensuring the sustainability of a company’s activities. The business management system affects both environmental and social sustainability of the company. Human resource management practices have a positive impact on environmental sustainability, but not on social sustainability, i.e. organisational factors are key to achieving environmental sustainability. Raising awareness of sustainability is the best way to promote the implementation of procedures that contribute to sustainability. Other TQM practices, such as continuously evolving processes, leading procurement procedures, stakeholder identification, and competitive products, do not affect a company’s environmental and social sustainability. The article raises topics for future research: why human resource management practices and continuously evolving processes do not affect sustainability. It is appropriate to deepen the case studies to identify the mechanisms by which TQM practices contribute to both environmental and social sustainability.

The Role of the Elements of Total Quality Management in Improving Banking Services) Applied Study at Khaleeji Commercial Bank)

The research aims to demonstrate the importance of adopting the philosophy of total quality management in improving banking services and identifying the dimensions of total quality management in banking institutions. As for its importance, it is manifested through the knowledge, understanding and application of total quality management by providing the requirements for the application of this philosophy in banking institutions according to recent developments in information technology in order to be able to improve their performance. The analytical study approach was adopted in the research and the use of the questionnaire tool in the study curriculum was adopted to analyze the opinions of the research sample that were applied in al Khaleeji Commercial Bank regarding the elements of total quality management available in the organization in question. Through the use of some statistical methods in the analysis, which are the extraction of frequencies, arithmetic mean and standard deviation normative as well as materiality. The research hypotheses were tested by using the correlation coefficient and simple regression model. The most important conclusions that the research reached is the importance of applying total quality in any organization because it can achieve an increase in competitive capabilities and support for a culture of quality and continuous improvement. To take advantage of the opportunities available to the organization through the application of scientific methods and tools that contribute to identifying problems and finding appropriate treatments for them. As well as the existence of a moral, linear relationship between the elements of total quality management and the improvement of banking services. The research came out with recommendations, including that organizations should work to promote and disseminate the culture and concepts of quality in all aspects of their work and to enhance and develop the capabilities of individuals working in this regard. The role of total quality management in creating sustainable competitive advantage))))

Obtaining a competitive advantage for any company is one of the priorities of its goals, so the research sought to delve into the dimensions of total quality management, represented by five dimensions (customer focus, strategic planning, process orientation, continuous improvement, delegation of work teams) and linking them to the dimensions of competitive advantage represented by (core ability, culture). Creative, information technology, strategic flexibility) was embodied in a questionnaire consisting of (32) items and distributed in the Iraqi Insurance Company in Basra with 120 questionnaires, The most important results were ((the competitive advantage is achieved through achieving a distinct type of management represented by the principles of total quality management, and the emergence of a positive and statistically significant effect of the main and sub-variables of the research, which indicates the possibility of applying total quality management. The comprehensive approach requires the company under consideration to provide a specific climate so that there is an appropriate ground for the possibility of their application through the conviction of the senior management and employees of the importance of these principles. It also requires the provision of good leaders to implant these principles and create a culture of continuous improvement and creativity

A conceptual framework of total quality management on innovation performance in the banking sector

PurposeThe “United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal” 9 seeks to “… foster innovation” in all sectors of an economy. Thus, this conceptual piece addresses the indirect effect of innovative behaviour (INB) between total quality management (TQM) and innovation performance (INP). It further explores the context-contingent effect of four external factors [government regulation (GOV), market dynamism (MKD), competitive intensity (CMP) and technological turbulence (TUR)] on the TQM–INB linkage.Design/methodology/approachBy incorporating both theoretical and empirical works in the fields of strategic management, innovation and business performance, this conceptual piece constructs a conceptual model, using a systematic literature review, alongside suppositions that can be tested in further studies.FindingsThis conceptual piece puts forward that TQM will be favourably connected to INP, and this favourable association will be mediated by INB. Moreover, GOV, MKD, CMP and TUR will have a favourable context-contingent effect on the favourable direct connection between TQM and INB.Research limitations/implicationsThis conceptual piece affords suggestions for both practitioners and researchers alike in the areas of innovative and strategic decision-making in banking establishments for reinforcing INP by introducing TQM, INB, GOV, MKD, CMP and TUR as innovative-strategic tools. It also delivers suggestions for forthcoming academics to examine this conceptual piece, empirically, in diverse banking sites worldwide.Practical implicationsPractical lessons for managers, employees, customers and consultants within the banking sector for the superior advantage of all key stakeholders are deliberated.Originality/valueThis study provides a new model to demonstrate how TQM leads to INP by passing through INB of employees, and how TQM fosters INB under diverse degrees of GOV, MKD, CMP and TUR. It shows how internal factors (7 TQM dimensions) and external factors (GOV, MKD, CMP and TUR) interact to foster employee INB. It also underscores the theoretical authority of three theories utilised, both individually and in combination, by using them to explain new relationships.

Dynamics of Total Quality Management to Improve Student Outcomes in Private TVET Colleges in Gauteng, South Africa

Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges can provide students with the knowledge and skills they need for future jobs. The study aimed to determine the mediation effects of total quality management (TQM) dimensions on employee performance and student learning outcomes. The study employed a cross-sectional descriptive quantitative design, where the research collected 349 responses from a pool of colleges in Gauteng, South Africa. The results show that training has the largest mediation effect size, with 55.1% of employee performance’s effect (total effect) on learning outcomes mediated by training. Knowledge and process management (34.8%) and customer focus (34.6%) also had a high mediation effect; however, no mediation effect was found with employee participation. This study helps the management of TVET colleges identify priority areas when they engage in the journey of TQM. The theoretical implication is that even though all the dimensions of TQM are critical in the organisation, they can be prioritised based on context and the environment where the implementation is taking place.

Blending “hard” and “soft” TQM for academic excellence: the University of Siena experience in the field of Life Sciences

PurposeFocusing on the adoption of Total Quality Management (TQM) principles in universities, this research paper explores how the “soft” dimensions of TQM trigger its “hard” dimensions considering them at the individual (micro-) and the university (meso-), and eventually at cluster (system-), levels.Design/methodology/approachAdopting a qualitative approach, this study presents an in-depth, longitudinal case study of University of Siena, one of the oldest Italian universities, that has been at the core of the research-based cluster on vaccines, today converged in the Tuscan Life Science Cluster. In particular, data were collected between 2018 and February 2022 and consists of archival data (press articles, websites, books), nine interviews to key informants, multiyear experience of the Life Sciences sector by two of the authors and other material put at disposal by university offices, and emails. Data analysis relied on a timeline, a coding procedure that considered three levels of analysis (individual, organization and cluster). Finally, the authors looked at the “how” and “why” the emerged themes have contributed to academic excellence.FindingsThis paper unveils how “soft” and “hard” sides of TQM are blended across multiple levels for reaching academic excellence. The grounded model emerged enlightens the importance of an individual “soft” dimension, academic passion (composed by its three subdimensions of individual research, teaching and entrepreneurial passion) and also sheds light on the organizational “soft” and “hard” sides that the university has been able to design for encouraging research, teaching and third mission quality. Academic excellence has been possible thanks to the capitalization of the individual and organizational “soft” sides into real outcomes as represented by the organizational and individual “hard” sides.Practical implicationsThe paper suggests the importance of TQM principles applied at universities' level, providing an in-depth description of “soft” and “hard” sides dimensions of TQM and their impact on all the three pillars of academic excellence. The study findings suggest implications for managers and professionals in the higher education domain as well as for policymakers emphasizing the importance of supporting the individual and organizational soft sides of TQM. The authors provide practical implications recommending universities to consider not only the organizational dimensions but also individual ones when pursuing higher education excellence. In particular, individual passion plays a crucial role and universities need to identify ways of nurturing it. The authors also recommend policymakers to think about new ways to sustain universities as crucial actors in boosting a cluster development, as well as to consider higher education institutions, especially in more rural areas, as a privileged player not only capable of nurturing academic excellence but also able of creating an internationally renowned cluster.Originality/valueTQM principles have been intensively analysed from an industrial perspective focusing on manufacturing and services, while this paper focuses on TQM in universities, presenting a grounded model that blends the individual and organizational “soft” and “hard” sides.

Introduction/Main Objectives: To analyze the influence of the dimensions total quality management toward employee performance in an Indonesian Regional Public Hospital (RSUD) Dr. H. Ishak Umarella. Background Problems: This research is conducted based on the premise that there are problems related to employee performance at RSUD Dr. H. Ishak Umarella which were inconsistent throughout 2020. According to the condition, the objective of this research is to verify the influence of total quality management toward employee performance. Novelty: In the dimensions of total quality management used, in which there are additional dimensions and adjustment to the dimensions used according to the object of research. Research Methods: The process of sampling applied in this research is purposive sampling, using the total of 100 respondents. Data are collected using questionnaires as the main instrument and Likert Scale to measure respondents' answers in the questionnaires. Finding/Results: The result shows that the focus on customer variable (X1), employee engagement and empowerment variable (X2), continuous improvement variable (X3), teamwork variable (X4), and education and training variables (X5) have a positive and significant influence towards employee performance (Y) at RSUD Dr. H. Ishak Umarella. Conclusion: This research concludes that in an effort to improve the performance of its employees, every government agency must attend to and strengthen the five variables

PENGARUH TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT TERHADAP KINERJA MANAJERIAL DENGAN SISTEM PENGUKURAN KINERJA SEBAGAI PEMEDIASI PADA PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 SEMARANG

This study aims to determine the effect of the dimensions of Total Quality Management on managerial performance mediated by a performance measurement system. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and interviews. Path analysis technique was used to examine the effect of Total Quality Management dimensions (customer focus, obsession on quality, education and training, teamwork, continuous improvement) on managerial performance mediated by the performance measurement system at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Semarang. The results of the direct influence test show that Total Quality Management on the dimensions of customer focus, and obsession on quality has an effect on managerial performance. Meanwhile, education and training, teamwork, and continuous improvement have no effect on managerial performance. Then Teamwork and continuous improvement affect the performance measurement system. But Focus on Customers, Obsession on quality, Education and training have no effect on the performance measurement system. The results of the indirect effect test show that the performance measurement system is not able to mediate Total Quality Management on managerial performance.

Bringing quality management to perspective in higher education institutions’ research output: A focus on selected private universities in Nigeria

Bringing quality management research into perspective is a critical need in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) of most developing nations, including Nigeria. The existing literature has not sufficiently explained the relationship between total quality management implementation and the research performance in the educational industry, especially from a developing economy perspective. Therefore, this study investigated total quality management (TQM) and the research output of HEIs in Nigeria. The study adopted a descriptive design to draw insights from research-based faculty members of three reputable Universities in Nigeria and adopting the PLS-SEM analysis this study established the relationship between components of TQM tools, values, and methodologies on the research output of HEIs. Our study found that dimensions of TQM, specifically TQM tools and values were found to relate positively with HEI's research output. Our study suggests that implementing total quality management, especially through its various tools, values, and methodologies will be beneficial to improving HEIs' research outputs.

Teachers' Views on the Role of Leadership in the Implementation of Total Quality Management

The purpose of this research is the identification of the Greek teachers’ opinions concerning the role of the schools’ principals in the implementation of the five dimensions of total quality management. For the measurement of the total quality management’s dimensions, SERVQUAL model was used. For the identification of the leadership styles followed, the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire was used. The research sample consists of 217 teachers of Thessaloniki region in Greece, who are working to schools that operate in both public and private education. The questionnaire was online distributed and the convenience sampling, in combination with the avalanche method, were followed. The main results of the present research concern the positive correlation between all dimensions of total quality management with the transformational and transactional leadership style and their negative correlation with the laissez-faire leadership style. In addition, they relate to the identified statistically significant difference between the schools that operate on public and private sector, in the tangibles’ dimension, in which the public sector lags behind the private sector. Finally, in both the private and public sector schools in Greece, the most prevalent leadership styles are transformational and transactional, and the least prevalent is the laissez-faire leadership style, where no statistically significant differences were identified between the two sectors in terms of the leadership style that is followed.

Conceptualising Total Quality Management as a Predictor of Performance in Nigerian Microfinance Institutions

This study examined total quality management as determinant of the performance of microfinance organizations. It seeks to empirically investigate the predictive power of total quality management (TQM) dimensions on performance measured by customer satisfaction. A survey research design was adopted and 20 licensed microfinance banks in Delta State were sampled. The total number of employees of the selected banks was 327. Taro Yamane formula was used in determining a sample size of 180 employees. The data were analysed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. The results revealed that all the TQM dimensions were significantly related to performance. Specifically, continuous quality improvement, employee involvement and customer relationship management predict positive performance. The study concluded that TQM practices need to be given adequate attention by microfinance institutions. The study recommended among others that employees in microfinance banks should be updated on best practices in the industry. Also, microfinance banks should train and retrain their employees on innovative and best practices in the industry.

Examining the impact of total quality management on the provision of healthcare services: A study of Jordanian healthcare organizations

This study investigates how Total Quality Management (TQM) influences the quality of Health care services in Jordan. To test this relationship, a survey was distributed to 220 employees working at different Jordanian hospitals. The results show significant and positive association between all TQM dimensions (customer focus, top management support, fact-based decision making, employees' involvement, and continuous improvement) and the quality of health care services in Jordan. The study concludes by emphasizing the importance of TQM in enhancing the quality of health care service and recommends hospitals ‘management and policy makers to adopt and integrate various TQM practices into the Jordanian health sector.

Perception of Quality of Care Culture among Health Care Providers in Najran General Hospital

This study aimed to assess and evaluate the perceptions of healthcare practitioners regarding the different aspects of the quality of care in Najran General Hospital and examine how that influence their response to quality roles. A cross-sectional study was conducted using the Total Quality Tasks (TQT) questionnaire, which was completed by 76 healthcare practitioners. The TQT measures three dimensions of total quality management (TQM): Quality Practice (QP), Quality Faith (QF), and Quality Knowledge (QK). The results showed that the overall mean scores for QP, QF, and QK were 6.5, 6.2, and 2.3, respectively, indicating a medium level of TQM among the healthcare practitioners. There were significant differences in the mean scores of QP, QF, and QK based on gender and job title. No significant differences were found based on age, nationality, and experience. These findings suggest the need for interventions to improve TQM among healthcare practitioners, particularly for males and those in administrative positions. Future research should consider the inclusion of a larger sample size and multiple hospitals to further examine the influence of various factors on TQM among healthcare practitioners.

The Impact of Total Quality Management on the Performance of Supply Chains in Jordanian Public-Shareholding Industrial Companies

The study attempt to determine the relative importance of total quality management (TQM) and supply chains in Jordanian public shareholding companies, as well as the impact of total quality management in its dimensions (focus on the customer; senior management commitment to quality; focus on improving operations; and worker participation in decision-making) in supply chains with its combined dimensions (Supply Chain Efficiency, Customer Response, and Product Innovation) in Jordanian public shareholding companies. The descriptive analytical approach was employed in the study, as well as the comprehensive survey method, which was applied to the full study community and to 162 persons working in Jordanian public shareholding industrial businesses at the upper and middle administrative levels. The study tool was delivered to them in the form of a questionnaire created by the researcher specifically for this purpose. A total of 157 valid questionnaires were obtained for statistical analysis. The study revealed a number of findings, the most important of which are: the presence of a high level of total quality management and supply chain performance in the study sample companies, as well as the presence of a statistically significant effect for all dimensions of total quality management on supply chain performance in those companies. The study recommended that Jordanian public shareholding industrial companies continue to improve total quality management dimensions through their understanding of their importance in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness, achieve strategic growth and business success, and develop and improve supply chain performance.
