Analisis Nilai Toleransi Novel 99 Cahaya di Langit Eropa dan Relevansinya dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia

The value of tolerance is part of the norms that exist in society in terms of religion, culture, language and nation. An attitude of tolerance is very much needed in social life as a unifier of differences because the existence of differences will give rise to diversity in a person's results, thoughts and insights. The research method in this study is descriptive qualitative with the data source being the novel 99 Cahaya di Langit Europa. Collecting data by (1) Reading the novel 99 Cahaya di Langit Europe by paying close attention to each meaning conveyed by the author. (2) Looking for text quotes that match the value of tolerance. (3) Analyzing the data results by identifying parts relating to inter-ethnic tolerance contained in the novel 99 Cahaya di Langit Europa. (4) Analyzing the relevance of the value of tolerance contained in the novel 99 Cahaya di Langit The sky of Europe by learning Indonesian in high school. (5) Summarize the results of the analysis of the novel. The results of the analysis show that the values ​​of tolerance contained in the novel 99 Cahaya di Langit Europa are intercultural tolerance, language tolerance and religious tolerance. Then this novel is relevant to class XII Indonesian language learning at KD 3. menganalisis isi dan kebahasaan novel.

Pengaruh Keluarga Dalam Manajemen Pendidikan Moderasi Beragama

Religious moderation, defined as a balanced approach in practicing religion by avoiding extremism in the form of radicalism or liberalism, is crucial for maintaining social harmony in diverse societies. The family, as the first educational institution, holds a strategic role in instilling the values of religious moderation in children from an early age. This study aims to examine the influence of the family's role in managing religious moderation education for children in West Sipatana. A quantitative method with a simple regression analysis approach was employed to measure the extent of the family's impact on religious moderation education. Field findings reveal that the family contributes 75% to shaping children's attitudes toward religious moderation. These findings indicate that active family involvement in children's religious education, such as teaching respect for differing beliefs and fostering constructive dialogue, significantly influences the development of tolerant and inclusive moderate attitudes in children. This research underscores the vital role of families as primary actors in supporting religious moderation education in society.

RELIGIOUS MODERATION EDUCATION: GENERATION-Z AS AGENTS OF CHANGE IN A MULTICULTURAL SOCIETY

Generation Z has a strategic role as an agent of change in implementing the values of religious moderation in a multicultural society. This article aims to explore the importance of religious moderation education in equipping Generation Z to be able to play an active role in maintaining social harmony, preventing religion-based conflicts, and facing the challenges of the digital era that often raises the issue of intolerance. Through a descriptive-qualitative approach, this article analyzes the relevance of religious moderation in shaping inclusive, tolerant, and respectful attitudes among Generation Z. Holistic religious moderation education involving educational institutions, families, and digital media can be an effective solution in instilling the values of diversity and moral integrity. The results of the study show that Generation Z, with its adaptive characteristics and openness to change, has great potential to be a catalyst for the creation of a peaceful, fair, and harmonious society. Therefore, religious moderation education must be a priority in character development strategies to strengthen the role of Generation Z as guardians of harmony in a multicultural society.

Contemporary Limits of Constitutional Patriotism

“Constitutional patriotism” has become one of the common concepts of political philosophy. Emerging in the local context of post-war Germany’s division, it gained particular popularity at the end of the last century in connection with the further globalization and multiculturalization of the world community and the creation of the European Union. Constitutional patriotism is seen, above all, as a more abstract form of social integration, replacing the traditional collective identity of the national community with a liberal-democratic political culture. Thus, it was a response to the criticism of communitarianism towards liberalism regarding the underestimation of the problem of motivating the protection of liberal democratic institutions. The article substantiates the need for a differentiated approach to the analysis of constitutional patriotism. There are two interpretations of constitutional patriotism – cosmopolitarian and particularistic. The paradox of tolerance — the issue of maintaining a tolerant attitude towards groups intolerant of the liberal political culture of society – outlines the existential boundaries of universally interpreted constitutional patriotism. This paradox became relevant as a result of the European migration crisis, as well as hybrid wars, one of the tools of which was the use of democratic institutions to destroy the constitutional order. Modern political incarnations of the paradox of tolerance demonstrate that the autonomy of liberal-democratic political culture always has its limits in preserving the conditions necessary for the existence of political culture itself.

Building Tolerance from an Early Age: Instilling Religious Moderation Values in Elementary Schools

This study analyzes methods for instilling religious moderation values in public elementary schools to foster tolerance from an early age. Education can introduce students to values of diversity and inclusivity at a young age, as elementary schools serve as a strategic platform to cultivate an understanding of differences. Using a literature review method, data was collected from various relevant sources, including scholarly articles, books, and related documents discussing religious moderation education and tolerance attitudes. Data collection was conducted through literature searches in scientific databases and other credible sources using specific keywords to ensure the relevance of the gathered material. The data was then analyzed descriptively using a thematic analysis approach to identify key themes, such as the integration of religious moderation values into the elementary school curriculum, the role of teachers in guiding students to understand moderate values, the use of extracurricular activities to reinforce tolerance practices, and the creation of an inclusive and diversity-supporting school environment. The study's findings indicate that collaboration among schools, teachers, and parents plays a crucial role in shaping attitudes of tolerance and inclusivity through religious moderation education in elementary schools. The study concludes that instilling religious moderation values at the elementary level is a practical approach to fostering a more peaceful and harmonious society in the future.

Pembelajaran Qs. An – Naas dengan Metode Drill di SDN 1 Slaharwotan Ngimbang Lamongan

The learning of the Qur'an and Hadith plays an important role in shaping the character and morals of the younger generation, especially at the Elementary School level. The learning of the Qur'an and Hadith is expected to instill values of faith, diversity, as well as foster attitudes of tolerance and social concern among students. This study aims to describe the learning of Surah An-Nas using the drill method, the steps of its implementation, and its execution at SDN 1 Slaharwotan Ngimbang Lamongan. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving Islamic Education teachers and students as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that learning through the drill method is effective in improving students' ability to read and memorize the Qur'an, especially Surah An-Nas, with correct pronunciation (tartil) and fluency. The learning model is technology-based or a multimedia learning model, where teaching takes place using tools and media such as LCD projectors, active speakers, notebooks, and interactive learning CDs, demonstrating the application of technology to support the teaching and learning process, as well as increasing interactivity and effectiveness. The learning method uses repetition (drill), so it is hoped that the material being taught will be retained in students' memory. This study provides insights into the importance of teacher competence in developing teaching materials that suit the developmental needs of students, as well as the importance of adjusting teaching methods to the curriculum and the characteristics of children in Elementary Schools.

The Intertwining Relationship between Acculturation and Space

Abstract During the partition of India, Muslims from India migrated to Bangladesh, where they started to be known as Bihari. But years of cultural dissimilarities and political conflict in 1971 with the local Bengalis forced most of them to live in camps dispersed across the country. The goal of this study was to determine whether the Bihari community’s degree of acculturation is influenced by the geographical locations of the camps. The aim of the research is to understand how geography affects acculturation and vice versa. The research objectives were supported by direct interviews, key informant interviews (KII) and camp observations in three distinct locations. According to the study, hosts and camp-residents from various spatial backgrounds integrated with each other in different ways. It found that a camp that offered better opportunity for Bihari–Bengali interaction, less communal conflict and a more tolerant attitude towards the dominant group assimilated better with the native population.

Examining the impact of cultural literacy on students' attitudes of tolerance towards diversity

This study aims to identify the influence of cultural literacy on students' understanding of attitudes of tolerance towards diversity. This quasi-experimental study was conducted using a post-test-only control group design. This study was conducted in an elementary school in Bali involving groups of fourth-grade students, who were students from two different classes and selected using statistical matching techniques. One group became the experimental group, and the other became the control group. The research data were collected using an understanding test of attitudes of tolerance towards diversity. The post-test was given to the two groups after the experimental group had been taught cultural literacy, and the control class was taught using conventional materials commonly used by teachers for eight meetings. The results of the post-test were analyzed quantitatively using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, and Cohen’s d. From the results of the descriptive statistical analysis, it was found that students in the control class had better average scores in terms of understanding attitudes of tolerance towards diversity than the control group. The results of the independent t-test showed that the difference in the average value was proven to be significant. Furthermore, the results of the effect size test also showed that cultural literacy has a large and significant influence on students' understanding of attitudes of tolerance towards diversity. Thus, from these results, it can be concluded that cultural literacy is effective in improving students' understanding of attitudes of tolerance towards diversity.

MODERASI BERAGAMA DALAM AKTIVITAS KEAGAMAAN DAN RITUAL DI PESANTREN (STUDI DI PONDOK PESANTREN DARUSSALAM KOTA BENGKULU)

Departing from the existence of Islamic boarding school institutions which are expected to be an example in practicing religious moderation, prioritizing balance, tolerance, and harmony in religion. However, during the development of increasingly diverse religious understandings, Pesantren are also faced with the challenge of maintaining religious moderation in religious activities and rituals carried out. This study discusses how religious practices and rituals of Islamic boarding schools reflect religious moderation, factors that support the implementation of religious moderation in the Islamic boarding school environment and what obstacles Islamic boarding schools face in realizing religious moderation. The results of this study show that the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School in Bengkulu City has implemented the values of religious moderation in its religious activities and rituals. This is reflected in practices that maintain a balance between religious traditions and teachings, as well as prioritizing inclusive and tolerant attitudes. Factors that support religious moderation in this Pesantren include leadership and example of kyai, curriculum and education system, and harmonious interaction with the community. However, Pesantren also face challenges and obstacles, such as the influence of certain religious beliefs, internal dynamics, and socio-cultural changes in the community.

MENGINTEGRASIKAN MODERASI BERAGAMA DALAM KURIKULUM LEMBAGA PELATIHAN: SEBUAH PENDEKATAN UNTUK PENDIDIKAN INKLUSIF DAN HARMONIS

This research aims to identify and analyze effective strategies in integrating the concept of religious moderation to create an inclusive and harmonious learning environment. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation and documentary studies. The sample was selected purposively, including nursing staff, teaching staff/widyaiswara, and training participants from various religions to gain a broader perspective. The results of this research first show that there is an increase in knowledge and awareness of training participants regarding the need for a tolerant attitude towards the existence of religions in Indonesia. This is an important finding indicating the effectiveness of integrating religious moderation in the curriculum of training institutions. Second, there is motivation to develop very important social skills such as empathy and effective communication, which are key elements in supporting constructive interfaith dialogue. Third, there is strong support from the administrative and teaching side as the key to successful implementation of the religious moderation curriculum.

Pendidikan Toleransi Antar Siswa Beragama Hindu Dan Islam di SD Negeri 3 Keramas Kecamatan Blahbatuh Kabupaten Gianyar

Tolerance education is an important aspect in building a harmonious social life in Indonesia, especially in areas with religious diversity such as Gianyar. Tolerance education is becoming increasingly important in the midst of increasing intolerance and religious polarization in Indonesia. This phenomenon can be seen from the rise of cases of discrimination, hate speech, and violence on the basis of religion. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through participant observation, interviews, and document analysis. The data were analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques. The results of this study outline that: First, the form of tolerance between Hinduism and Islam at SD Negeri 3 Keramas is in the form of: social activities, religious activities, in school relationships, cultural arts activities, sports activities at school, and group learning activities. Second, the obstacles faced in the application of tolerance in SD Negeri 3 Keramas, Blahbatuh District, Gianyar Regency are fanaticism, limited coaching, and exclusivism. Third, the efforts made to strengthen tolerance between Hinduism and Islam at SD Negeri 3 Keramas, Blahbatuh District, Gianyar Regency are to impose sanctions on religious harassment, get guidance from all teachers, understand other religions more comprehensively, prioritize dialogue as a discourse to be tolerant to teachers and students at SD Negeri 3 Keramas. The dialogue aims so that teachers and students can build understanding and mutual understanding, not to win, the dialogue given is always about mutual respect, understanding other religions, being polite, not demonizing other religions and certainly increasing the attitude of tolerance that has existed since long ago at school.

Collaborating to Enhance Tolerance Among Bandung's Students of Diverse Religions

This study investigates the perceptions of tolerance held by students at UIN Bandung and Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR), two religiously affiliated postsecondary educational establishments in Bandung. The data for this research was gathered through document reviews and interviews using a qualitative methodology. Fifty students from UIN Bandung and fifty from UNPAR Bandung were interviewed. This study discovers that students' perceptions of their religious texts—the Bible and the Qur'an—have an impact on how tolerant they are Socially, it is discovered that Indonesians' conception of tolerance has a national dimension based on the national ideology. Religious and social concepts provide these kids with the foundation for tolerance in a variety of ways. Students at UIN Bandung continue to exhibit tolerance, but only within the framework of their religion—Islam. On the other hand, tolerance is practiced in both the social and individual environments at UNPAR, a campus that is more diverse and cosmopolitan. Collaboration strengthens the two student groups' tolerant attitudes. This collaboration later initiated the birth of the Halaqah Damai (Circle of Peace) as a forum for the two student groups to have dialogue and understand the essence of religious tolerance to be disseminated in their respective environments.

Academic integrity in the framework of a student’s sustainable anti-corruption stance: insights from sociological analysis

Introduction. The process of fostering a sustainable anti-corruption stance among students faces a significant challenge: the disconnect between publicly stated condemnations of corruption and the behaviours exhibited in daily life.Aim. The present research aimed to conduct a sociological analysis of the development of a stable anti-corruption stance among students, focusing on three key parameters: cognitive, value-based, and behavioural.Methodology and research methods. A sociological survey was conducted among 572 university students in Ekaterinburg (n = 572) studying Economics and Management. The survey was administered online using the Yandex platform, and the results were analysed using the statistical software SPSS.Results. A comparative analysis was conducted to evaluate the results obtained in relation to findings from Russian and international empirical studies. The analysis revealed that students exhibit a relatively high level of values rejecting corruption in society; however, they simultaneously display a tolerant attitude towards violations of academic honesty within their educational activities. It was concluded that the norms of academic honesty are more stable during group interactions than in individual educational pursuits. Additionally, the study identifies the need to analyse new opportunities and risks to academic integrity associated with the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in educational contexts.Scientific novelty. A diagnostic assessment of the “sustainable anti-corruption position” among university students was conducted, focusing on their rational, value-based, and behavioural manifestations. It is argued that academic integrity serves as a behavioural indicator of the sustained anti-corruption stance that students exhibit through their educational activities.Practical significance. The adoption of standards of academic integrity will assist students in developing a socially acceptable model of behaviour, particularly in situations where there may be a temptation to violate anti-corruption rules for personal gain. The cultivation of a student’s academic integrity should be regarded as a crucial component of systemic anti-corruption efforts within the university.

Tolerance Attitude Analysis of the Social Piety Value in the Novel Lingkar Tanah Lingkar Air Based on Prophetic Ethics

This study analyzes tolerance attitude as a manifestation of social piety values within the framework of prophetic ethics in the novel Lingkar Tanah Lingkar Air by Ahmad Tohari. This study aims to understand how the novel depicts tolerance in the context of diversity in Indonesia. Using Goldmann's genetic structuralism approach and Jurij Lotman's semiotics, qualitative research methods were used, involving hermeneutic analysis and interviews with the author. The results showed a binary opposition between the character Kang Suyud, who represents a rigid interpretation of Islam, and Kyai Ngumar, who prioritizes tolerance. The novel illustrates how differences in religious understanding do not have to lead to conflict, emphasizing the importance of social piety manifested through tolerance and empathy. Kyai Ngumar's tolerant attitude contrasts with Kang Suyud's intolerance, showing the importance of moderation and understanding diversity to maintain social harmony in Indonesia, aligning with prophetic ethical values. This study concludes that tolerance is the key to building an inclusive society in Indonesia, which is rich in cultural and religious diversity.

Penguatan Moderasi Beragama melalui Program Literasi Ayat-Ayat Cinta Tanah Air bagi Unit Dakwah Kampus Unair

Purpose: Strengthening Religious Moderation Through the Literacy Program on Love for the Motherland Verses for the Da'wah Unit, Airlangga University Surabaya Campus. Methodology: The problem-based service-learning method is used in this service. This method was applied in an effort to solve community partner problems. Results: The service participants consisted of 30 people, including Unair Islamic Spirituality UKM, Ulul Azmi mosque activists, and KH Abdul Chalim University students. The place of service was at the Ulul Azmi Unair mosque and held for four meetings. This activity is based on the diversity of unfair students who are infiltrated by the existence of the results of the implementation of service learning. This shows that strengthening religious moderation through literacy of verses about love of the homeland for Islamic Spiritual UKM can become capital in national, state, and religious life, demonstrated by national commitment, having an attitude of tolerance and acceptance of tradition in the midst of society with extremist, radicalist, and liberalist ideologies. Limitations: This article may only focus on one university, namely Airlangga University (Unair), so the findings and recommendations produced cannot be generalized to other campuses or other regions that have different cultural and social contexts. Contribution: The literacy program of verses of love for the homeland can instill the values of religious moderation in students, which is expected to reduce the potential for radicalization and intolerance in the campus environment.

Использование учебных стратегий при обучении испанскому языку как второму иностранному в языковом вузе

The article presents examples of learning strategies that are used in the process of learning Spanish and offers models of learning tasks within the framework of learning strategies for different levels of Spanish proficiency. The necessity of familiarizing students with the culture of Spain and Latin American countries is indicated. The purpose of the study is to identify the effectiveness of using educational strategies in classes on mastering Spanish as a second foreign language at a language university. Metacognitive, communicative, interactive and affective strategies and examples of their use in teaching Spanish as a second foreign language are chosen as the object of research. It is noted that the application of educational strategies in practical classes contributes to success and helps a future specialist in their further professional activities. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the proof of the need to use specific learning strategies to achieve a high level of proficiency in a foreign language in practical classes at a language university. As a result of the study, the essence of the concept of “learning strategy” was revealed, communicative situations were created and described, as well as a number of other types of exercises that took place in practical Spanish classes. The effectiveness of using metacognitive, communicative, interactive, affective strategies to increase motivation and achieve a high level of foreign language proficiency, as well as to promote a tolerant attitude towards the culture of the target language, was shown.

Efektivitas Dakwah Digital dalam Meningkatkan Keberagaman Mahasiswa

In today's digital era, social media, especially Instagram, has become the main platform for spreading information and messages, including da'wah. Students as the young generation who actively use social media have great potential to receive and spread da'wah messages. This study examines the extent to which da'wah delivered through Instagram can influence students' understanding of diversity, both in terms of ethnicity, culture, religion, and other perspectives. The method used is a survey by distributing questionnaires to students from various universities. The results of the study indicate that da'wah on Instagram has a positive influence in increasing students' awareness and understanding of the importance of diversity, as well as encouraging an attitude of tolerance and mutual respect. However, the effectiveness of this da'wah is influenced by the quality of the content, consistency of delivery, and audience involvement. This study concludes that Instagram da'wah can be an effective tool for promoting diversity values ​​among students, with the note that there is an appropriate strategy in delivering da'wah messages

Implementation of Islamic Religious Education Learning in Building Religious Character in Students (Explorative Study SMP N 1 and SMP N 3 Bringin)

This study aims to find out how the implementation, impact and supporting and inhibiting factors of Islamic Religious Education learning in building religious character in students of SMP N 1 Bringin and SMP N 3 Bringin. There are main discussions in this study, namely: (1) the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning in building religious character (2) the impact of the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning in building religious character (3) supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning in building religious character. The researcher uses a qualitative approach through interview, observation, and documentation methods. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique uses qualitative data analysis with procedures for collecting, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions which are then verified. The findings of this study are: 1) The implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning in building religious character in SMP N 1 & 3 Bringin students is carried out through the process of planning, implementation and evaluation; 2) The impact of the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning at SMP N 1 Bringin includes: (1) Fostering Self-Discipline; (2) Increasing Tolerance Attitudes; (3) Increasing Social Awareness; (4) Increasing Spiritual Awareness; (5) Ethical and Moral Development.

Implementation of Multicultural Values to Strengthen Students' Nationalism

This study explores the role of multicultural values in strengthening students' nationalism at SMPN 1 Sleman. Through a qualitative descriptive approach using interviews, observations, and documentation, the research found that multicultural values—encompassing diversity, tolerance, and cultural appreciation—are integrated into classroom learning, daily activities, and the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5). These efforts foster attitudes of tolerance, mutual respect, and cultural appreciation, enhancing students' understanding of national identity and unity. By embracing cultural diversity, students develop strong, inclusive personalities, preparing them to face global challenges while maintaining a sense of nationalism.

A Matched Design for Causal Inference With Survey Data: Evaluation of Medical Marijuana Legalization in Kentucky and Tennessee.

A concern surrounding marijuana legalization is that driving after marijuana use may become more prevalent. Survey data are valuable for estimating policy effects, however their observational nature and unequal sampling probabilities create challenges for causal inference. To estimate population-level effects using survey data, we propose a matched design and implement sensitivity analyses to quantify how robust conclusions are to unmeasured confounding. Both theoretical justification and simulation studies are presented. We found no support that marijuana legalization increased tolerant behaviors and attitudes toward driving after marijuana use, and these conclusions seem moderately robust to unmeasuredconfounding.
