Optimalisasi Operasional Layanan dan Integrasi Sistem pada Arsitektur Perusahaan PT X melalui Penerapan TOGAF ADM

This research discusses the application of the TOGAF ADM method in modelling X Ltd,which operates in the field of printing and book publishing services. X Ltd facesoperational challenges that are still manual and not fully integrated with the system sothat the service operational process becomes ineffective in terms of time. This researchaims to design an integrated architecture, including business process architecture,application and data architecture, and technology architecture. The research method usesa qualitative approach by conducting interviews with two sources from X Ltd to analyzecurrent operations. The results show that TOGAF ADM can help X Ltd Optimizes itsoperational system, accelerates data management, publishing books, and improvingcustomer service, and facilitating adaptation to changes through new system architecturemodelling.

Arsitektur Sistem Informasi Rehabilitasi dan Rekonstruksi Rumah Terkena Dampak Gempa Menggunakan Framework Togaf

The study focuses on the impact of the 2018 earthquake in the Province of West Nusa Tenggara, particularly the extensive damage to hundreds of thousands of houses. It aims to assess the initial phase of post-earthquake housing rehabilitation and reconstruction activities and seeks to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness. One of the main issues identified is the absence of an integrated information system to facilitate data management and coordination among relevant agencies, often leading to errors and delays in implementing activities. To address this, the research utilizes the TOGAF ADM Framework as an architectural design method, providing detailed guidelines for creating a flexible and adaptable information system architecture. Data is collected through in-terviews, document studies, and literature reviews. The research delves into the vision and mis-sion, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to the rehabilitation and reconstruction process, as well as an analysis of the current business processes and assets owned by the BPBD of the Province of West Nusa Tenggara. The expected outcome is the development of an information system ar-chitecture that can overcome obstacles in rehabilitation and reconstruction activities, resulting in a more effective and efficient process. Moreover, it aims to enhance coordination and resource uti-lization. Ultimately, the study concludes that implementing a TOGAF ADM-based information system architecture can offer a comprehensive solution to the challenges encountered in post-earthquake housing rehabilitation and reconstruction. This resulting integrated and opti-mized system is expected to serve as a valuable reference for relevant agencies in other provinces facing similar situations in the future.

Strategic Planning of Information Technology Architecture in Schools Using The Open Group Architect Framework (TOGAF) Case Study: SMA Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung

This research aims to design an enterprise architecture at SMA Negeri 15 Bandar Lampung using the TOGAF ADM framework. This research involves several phases: Preliminary Phase, Architecture Vision, Business Architecture, Information System Architecture, and Opportunities and Solutions. In the Preliminary phase, the objectives and benefits of architectural development are determined to meet the needs of the school, including the new student enrollment system and network structure. The Architecture Vision phase describes the organization's profile, vision and mission, as well as the current state of architecture. Business Architecture analyzes key business processes using the value chain, including student admission, teaching and learning activities, and student release. Information System Architecture develops data and application architectures to support business vision and architecture. The Opportunities and Solutions phase identifies opportunities for information technology development to improve school operational efficiency. The results show that the implementation of TOGAF ADM can provide systematic and comprehensive guidance in designing enterprise architecture that suits the needs of schools.

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Design Using TOGAF ADM and ACMM (Case Study: PT XYZ)

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is software used by companies to unite and manage information from various parts of the company, or a tool that integrates all aspects of business in a company. However, in order to support the operations of PT XYZ, it has not implemented an Information System in its business activities. In order to support the smooth running of business processes at PT XYZ, it is necessary to design a structured Information System with good planning using the TOGAF ADM framework. Before starting the design, the researcher evaluated the maturity level of PT XYZ by comparing the current condition with the desired one using the Architecture Capability Maturity Model (ACMM). The results of this evaluation were recommendations for an ERP architecture that was adapted to PT XYZ's business processes, including business architecture, data, applications, and technology that have reached their respective level 3 maturity levels.

Perancangan Arsitektur Enterprise Menggunakan Framework TOGAF ADM Pada SMAN 3 Sidoarjo

Currently, SMAN 3 Sidoarjo does not have an enterprise architecture and integrated data. To increase the utilization of IT and IS at SMAN 3 Sidoarjo, development through enterprise architecture is needed. The essence of this proposal is to plan an architectural effort as an aid to improving IS and IT at SMAN 3 Sidoarjo in the future. The method used is The Open Group Architecture Framework – Architecture Development Method (TOGAF ADM). The information obtained utilizes qualitative research obtained from observations, document studies and interviews. The continued impact of this research is business architecture, data architecture, application architecture, and technology architecture. The selected design content includes application portfolio catalog, application/organization matrix, logical data diagram and computer network diagram. It is believed that this recommendation can be a reference for improving or developing IS and IT at SMAN 3 Sidoarjo to realize the vision and mission of SMAN 3 Sidoarjo through business architecture, information systems architecture and technology architecture..

The Sukahaji Village Office is a government institution that operates in the Village in the Sukahaji District Majalengka. The Sukahaji Village Government has not implemented an Information System in carrying out its duties, this can be seen from the obstacles faced by the Village Government. The obstacle faced is the frequent hoarding of old data, making it difficult when it will be recorded again, in fact there is usually lost data that requires a system that can help data storage. The purpose of this research is to provide direction to be able to implement information systems for data storage. performance in the future, the method used in the development of enterprise architecture this time is the TOGAF ADM (The Open Group Architecture Framework) method using 3 (three) phases out of 9 (nine) phases, namely the Preliminary Phase, Architecture Vision Phase and Business Architecture Phase. This research will produce a blueprint and provide a roadmap using the elements contained in the TOGAF at the Village Office in order to implement the Sukahaji Village Office performance information system in the future.

Analysis and Design of Enterprise Architecture in Cooperatives Using TOGAF Adm Framework (Case Study: Cooperative Mandiri XYZ)

Cooperatives in Indonesia have an important role, one of which can be seen in everyday life, the existence of cooperatives that help build the community's economy. Current digital transformation, it will have an impact on the design of the company's organization, employee management, data collection patterns and transaction patterns. If this Digital transformation is not carried out, there will be a lameness in developing cooperatives. Many cooperatives still use the conventional system, using manual logbooks in depositing cow's milk products by each member of the cooperative and collecting data requirements using excel documents which require more time to process, thus slowing down the performance of the data exchange process in cooperatives. In Maximizing the utilization of the system itself, the Enterprise Architecture design of a cooperative management information system is carried out using the TOGAF ADM approach. Enterprise Architecture can help in aligning various business needs, data, applications and technology. Designing the Enterprise Architecture cooperative management information system at TOGAF ADM, it is carried out with the Preliminary Phase, architecture vision, Business Architecture, Information System Architecture, Technology Architecture, Opportunity and solution and migration planning stages. Final result of this study is in the form of a proposed architecture model for Cooperative XYZ, and blueprint.

Perancangan Enterprise Arsitektur Menggunakan TOGAF ADM Di Bea Cukai Tanjung Pandan pada Aplikasi SIMPORA

The web-based SIMPORA Customs Tanjung Pandan application is an efficient solution for optimizing annual budgeting business processes. Customers can easily get the latest information about the services provided in real-time. So it is hoped that it can improve performance significantly. To develop it, several data collection techniques were used, namely by conducting in-depth interviews, making observations and documenting them. Meanwhile, the research methodology is TOGAF ADM 9.1. This method is known to be the best method that can develop architecture in a structured and reliable manner. Several types of diagrams that help in designing this system are Value Chain, BPMN, Context Diagram, Use Case, and Class Diagram. It is hoped that this enterprise architecture design will enable budgeting to be monitored and improved immediately by stakeholders. The result of this research is an enterprise architecture design to support business processes at Tanjung Pandan Customs and Excise. It is hoped that various budgeting errors and design inaccuracies can be reduced and eliminated with this application, so that it can support the optimization of this institution's business processes.

An Enterprise Architecture Planning for Tour and Travel Company Using TOGAF ADM

Purpose: This study aims to address inefficiencies in service delivery processes within PT. Auva Eqtena Tour and Travel, particularly concerning manual operations and administrative document management. By utilizing the TOGAF ADM (The Open Group Architecture Framework Architecture Development Method) methodology, the research seeks to develop a strategic plan for information systems that enhances service efficiency and streamlines operations. Methods: The research employs the TOGAF ADM methodology to guide the strategic planning process for information systems improvement. Four key aspects are considered: vision architecture, business architecture, information system architecture, and technology architecture. Through a systematic approach, the study identifies areas for improvement and proposes strategic initiatives to optimize the utilization of information systems and technology. Results and Discussion: Analysis of the current operational processes within PT. Auva Eqtena Tour and Travel reveals inefficiencies in manual operations and document management, leading to delays and increased resource consumption. The application of TOGAF ADM methodology facilitates the development of strategic plans across various architectural domains. The proposed initiatives include enhancements in vision architecture, business processes, information system integration, and technological infrastructure to optimize information system utilization and improve service delivery efficiency. Implications of the Research: The findings have significant implications for PT. Auva Eqtena Tour and Travel, providing actionable insights for enhancing service efficiency and operational effectiveness through strategic information systems planning. By aligning business objectives with technology capabilities, the proposed initiatives aim to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. Originality/Value: This study contributes to the existing literature by applying the TOGAF ADM methodology to address operational challenges within the tour and travel industry. By integrating strategic planning principles with architectural frameworks, the research offers a structured approach to information systems development and optimization. The proposed strategic plan provides a roadmap for PT. Auva Eqtena Tour and Travel to leverage information systems effectively, thereby enhancing its competitive position and service delivery capabilities in the market.

Bridging the ICT Gap: TOGAF ADM's Role in Modernizing Educational Institutions

In the rapidly advancing world of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), various industries have recognized and started to harness technology's transformative power, especially when it comes to data management and processing. One significant component of this technological evolution is Enterprise Architecture (EA). This offers a structured framework for integrating vast amounts of data across large-scale systems. However, an area that remains somewhat untapped is the application of EA within the educational sector, which presents its own unique set of ICT challenges. Through a series of structured interviews conducted at SMA St. Bellarminus, the research aims to tailor the institution's information systems architecture to its specific and nuanced needs. While there have been previous studies that touched upon organizational systems and structures, our research distinguishes itself by modifying and adapting the TOGAF ADM approach to cater explicitly to educational environments. As the digital realm continues to expand and evolve, it's imperative for educational institutions to have the tools and methodologies in place to stay relevant and efficient in this ever-changing landscape.

Enterprise Architecture Design Using TOGAF Adm at PT. Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia

Telecommunications company PT. Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (INTI) has several main business lines, such as manufacturing and assembly, management services, digital services, and system integrators. The system integrator requires assistance from all business divisions to support its business activities, one of which is to assist the information technology function, which is responsible for information technology services. However, there are several obstacles that arise in the implementation of the information technology function, including data exchange that has not used the system optimally; lack of manpower; business process flow that is still less effective; and one business process that is still less effective and has not been supported by existing applications. The existing applications are not integrated. Thus, the right solution and in accordance with the needs must be generated through an enterprise architecture that can integrate information technology strategy with business strategy. TOGAF ADM is used to design enterprise architecture, which includes preliminary, architecture, and implementation phases.

This study aims to design EA at SMA Atisa Dipamkara. The research employs the TOGAF ADM method. The results of the study indicate that the design of EA at SMA Atisa Dipamkara can provide benefits for the school, namely improving the efficiency and effectiveness of school business processes, facilitating decision-making by school management, and enhancing customer satisfaction at the school.

Integrated Operational System Enterprise Architec-ture Designing Using TOGAF-ADM Method Case Study at PT. XYZ (Construction Company)

XYZ is a construction company that belongs to the civil sector of construction, especially in the field of water management and waterwaste management in private and public projects. In its journey, PT XYZ continues to grow following the development of existing technology. However, in its development in the implementation of information systems, it turns out that some of the main processes at PT XYZ are still carried out manually. So that problems arise and disrupt the business processes of PT. XYZ. These problems include problems with data integration, communication and loss of information due to certain things. Especially in processes that are still done manually such as warehouse and project management. From this problem, an analysis will be made that will identify the problem in detail with company XYZ. So the idea of developing an integrated operational system emerged that would be built according to the Enterprise Architecture (EA) method. EA can be analogous to when building a building, a model, design and design of the building is needed. These things are needed as models and foundations for the design. Similar to the implementation of information systems, before its development, the basis and foundation of the design are needed in the form of information system models or architectures. In this research, the EA method that will be used is TOGAF-ADM. This method was chosen because TOGAF ADM is a complex method that can meet all EA development needs, so it is used based on organizational needs.

ANALISIS PERANCANGAN ARSITEKTUR ENTERPRISE DINAS PETERNAKAN MENGGUNAKAN TOGAF ADM 9.2 (STUDI KASUS: FUNGSI VAKSINASI HEWAN PADA DINAS PETERNAKAN BANDUNG BARAT)

This study analyzes and plans an enterprise architecture for the animal vaccination function at the Department of Fisheries and Animal Husbandry of West Bandung Regency. Animal vaccination is a crucial step in maintaining health and protecting animal populations from diseases. The author employs the TOGAF ADM (The Open Group Architecture Framework - Architecture Development Method) approach to analyze the animal vaccination process and identify necessary improvements. The vaccination steps, workflow, and responsibilities of various stakeholders are evaluated using the TOGAF ADM. Stages such as defining business architecture, data, applications, and information technology are applied in this analysis. The current information technology infrastructure is also analyzed to identify the suitable needs of the enterprise architecture. The results are expected to provide recommendations for improving the animal vaccination process at the Department of Fisheries and Animal Husbandry of West Bandung Regency. With an enterprise architecture based on TOGAF ADM, it is anticipated that the efficiency of animal vaccination implementation can be enhanced. These recommendations can serve as a guide for similar institutions in optimizing the animal vaccination process. In other words, this research bridges the theory of enterprise architecture with practical applications in the context of animal vaccination, yielding potential solutions to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.

Company XYZ is a company engaged in the sale of electronic goods in Purworejo. XYZ company was founded in around 1990 and is one of the oldest existing companies in Purworejo. Currently, it is known that the business processes in the xyz company are still carried out manually. Starting from the process of ordering goods, selling goods, and making reports is still done manually and this company has not used an Application or Information System. This makes it difficult for companies to recap expense reports every month and difficulty in finding data that is needed quickly. Based on these problems, it is necessary to have an application or information system that can be used to facilitate the business processes of xyz companies. To facilitate the creation of applications or information systems, an architectural design is needed. In this study, the company's architectural design will use the TOGAF ADM Architecture, where TOGAF ADM has a framework that can be used to design, evaluate, and build the architecture of a company. The results of this study are in the form of an architectural design that can be used to support business processes and make a recap of expenditure reports at xyz companies.

Information technology is developing quite rapidly and has a significant impact in various aspects of business, including in the pharmaceutical industry. This research aims to design enterprise architecture at Kimia Farma Pharmacy. The method used in this research is TOGAF ADM (The Open Group Architecture Framework Architecture Development Method), which consists of several phases, namely preliminary phase, architecture vision, business architecture, information system architecture, technology architecture, opportunities and solutions, and migration planning. This research will produce a blueprint of enterprise architecture design that is in accordance with the needs and objectives of the Kimia Farma Pharmacy. This blueprint includes structured guidance on architecture components such as business architecture, information system architecture, and technology architecture. By having this blueprint, Kimia Farma Pharmacy can have clear guidelines in optimizing the use of information technology, increasing operational efficiency, and strengthening its competitive advantage in the pharmaceutical industry. The results of this research are expected to provide significant benefits to Kimia Farma Pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry in general. A structured and integrated enterprise architecture design will help Kimia Farma Pharmacy in facing technological challenges and increasingly fierce competition.

Improving Architecture of Legal System by using TOGAF-ADM

The article takes a case study of a state-owned utility company, XYZ, that provides nationwide electricity and serves her major contractors around Indonesia. Since year 2020 with Covid pandemic, the company has taken a hybrid work (work-from-home and work-from-office) for all her staffs. The article addresses the legal department where the entire process has been done manually with minimum computer system involvements. The hybrid work has made slow response of the staffs to serve other units and external clients, where it causes major dissatisfactions of the management of the company. Since last decade, XYZ directors have promoted digital transformation program in all her business units, including legal department. The article examines the use of enterprise architecture approach (TOGAF ADM) to support the digital transformation program that enables legal staffs to work in a hybrid mode and expect the similar work performance as offline work. The article addresses improving business process in legal department that ready to accommodate the latest IT trends. The outcome of the article is expected to address common issues related to digital transformation in legal department.

Perencanaan Arsitektur Enterprise Untuk Penerapan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (SNP) Menggunakan TOGAF ADM 9.2 di SMP Unggul Sakti Kota Jambi

We can now feel the use of technology in services in various sectors, one sector that is quite influential in human life which cannot be separated from the use of technology, namely in the education sector. Education is a stage where students are guided and directed to get quality education in accordance with the National Education Standards. Implementation and fulfillment of National Education Standards can be done from various perspectives, one of which is from a technological perspective. Currently, SMP Unggul Sakti Jambi does not yet have an integrated information system in carrying out academic operations, therefore an enterprise architecture design is needed to develop and build information systems and information technology at schools. Enterprise architecture has the meaning of defining, classifying, planning and designing the connectivity of the various components that make up an enterprise. This study uses the TOGAF ADM framework which is limited to the initialization, vision architecture, business architecture, information system architecture, and technology architecture stages. The result of this research is a blueprint for an integrated information system architecture design that can be used by schools to support the implementation of the National Education Standards in carrying out business processes.
