PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI TERHADAP KARAKTER RASA INGIN TAHU SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPA DI KELAS IV SDN 15 TELAGA BIRU KABUPATEN GORONTALO

The problem in this study is whether there is an influence of the inquiry learning model on the character of students' curiosity in learning science in grade IV SDN 15 Telaga Biru, Gorontalo District. The aim is to determine the effect of inquiry learning models on the character of students' curiosity in science learning in grade IV SDN 15 Telaga Biru Gorontalo district. This research was conducted using the pre-experimental design method with the design of one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all fourth grade students of SDN 15 Telaga Biru. Withdrawal of the sample using saturated sampling technique, which amounted to 29 people, where all members of the population made as research samples. This study uses a questionnaire as an instrument. Based on the results of the study, there is an influence of the inquiry learning model on the character of student curiosity, with the average value of the results of the character of students' curiosity in the treatment class before using the inquiry learning model which is 69, 190 and after using the inquiry learning model is 82, 328. Based on the criteria of hypothesis testing obtained t count = 7.974 and t table = 1.70 or t count> t table, in other words tcount is outside the acceptance area of the hypothesis H0 (H0 is rejected) which means accepting the alternative hypothesis (H1 accepted). This means that there is an influence of the inquiry learning model on the character of students' curiosity in science learning in grade IV SDN 15 Telaga Biru.

Dragonfly Species Diversity (Odonata) in Three Telaga on The Highland Freshwater, West Java

Odonata was very selective to the habitat selection. Their sensitivity toward environment makes them be good indicator species. Information of species diversity of Odonata in the highland of tropical freshwater lakes is still rare. The purpose of this research was to compare species diversity of Odonata in Telaga Biru Mount Gede Pangrango National Park, Telaga Warna, Nature Park, and Telaga Saat, West Java. Data of Odonata population were collected using fixed point count method. The results showed that species diversity of Odonata in Telaga Saat is higher than Telaga Warna, Nature Park and Telaga Biru, Mount Gede Pangrango National Park. Species diversity indices of Odonata in the three of lakes ranged between 0.78 – 1.75 and were categorized medium and low diversity. Jaccard index of similarity showed that Telaga Warna and Telaga Saat had the similar communities of Odonata. The high index of species diversity of Odonata in Telaga Saat was probably due to the higher intensity of light, which created the higher air temperature at the lake. Species richness, diversity and Shannon index of Odonata was the highest in Telaga Saat compared two other sites.

Pemberian Jus Mentimun (Cucumis Sativus Linn) Pada Penderita Hipertensi Wanita Usia Produktif

Hypertension is one of the public health problems that cause mortality and inability to reach life expectancy. The aim of the research is to assess the effect of juice cucumber (Cucumis sativus Linn) on blood pressure of hypertension patients. The research used a quasi experiment design with Non-Randomized Control Group Pre-test Post-test Design. The populations include pre-hypertension and hypertension grade I patients of women childbearing age in the working area of Telaga Biru Health Centre of Gorontalo Regency. The samples were 42 pre-hypertension and hypertension grade I patients. They were divided into two groups, a group given cucumber juice without seeds and another group given cucumber juice with seeds. The data were analyzed using Paired-samples t Test and Independent-samples t Test. The result of the study indicate that giving cucumber juice without seeds decrease of systolic blood pressure by 18,524 mmHg (p = 0,000) and decrease diastolic blood pressure by 8,905 mmHg (p = 0,000). Giving cucumber juice with seeds could decrease systolic blood pressure by 15,952 mmHg (p = 0,000) and diastolic blood pressure by 7,571 mmHg (p = 0,000). There was no difference between giving cucumber juice without seeds and giving cucumber juice with seeds in the decrease of systolic blood pressure (p = 0,257) and the decrease of diastolic blood pressure (p = 0,414). This shows that giving cucumber juice can decrease blood pressure.

IMPLEMENTASI METODE WEB ENGINEERING DALAM MEMBANGUN SISTEM E-RESERVATION PEMESANAN KAMAR HOTEL

This research was conducted at Hotel Telaga Biru Pagaralam, aims to create a new system that can overcome the problems that occur in the Hotel, especially in terms of booking rooms. The current room booking system is still done manually, which is still recorded in the book when guests check in until check out, then it is given a receipt as proof of payment in advance to the guest according to the length of the guest staying. In addition to coming directly customers can book a room by contacting the hotel by phone. For this, researchers are doing the action of making a system engineering information-based hotel reservation with the system development strategy using the Web engineering method, the tools used in the design are Unified Modelling Language (UML), in the development of this application authors use the PHP and MySql programming language as the Database of room booking systems. This system generates a system that allows customers and hotel to make bookings.

VISUAL ILLUSTRATION AND PHOTOGRAPHY ON ISLAMIC BOOK COVER DESIGNS: A SEMIOTIC ANALYSIS

The publication of religious books recently has been in line with the publication of books of other genres. It is because of the increase in the demands by the readers in addition to the design of the book covers which has been made up more interesting. Hence, this research was aimed to identify the influence of visual illustration and photography displayed on book covers which preferred by the readers. Sign theory by Peirce (1839) and Semiotic Analysis by Stokes (2003) were applied for the purpose of data analysis. A book published by Telaga Biru Sdn. Bhd. entitled Ikon Syabab by Umar Muhammad Noor (2014) has been made as to the research data focusing on the taxonomy aspect of its cover. The results showed that the proper use of pictures was undeniably able to attract the readers to buy the religious book currently in the market. This research also was predicted to be able to contribute to the national socio-economic interest, generate a rich cultural society and elevate the percentage of book publication in Malaysia.

Improve Community Income Through Community Empowerment Programs Joint Business Group (Kube) in Dumati Village, Telaga Biru District

This study aims to describe: 1) the KUBE Bintang Terang Program, 2) the role of KUBE in increasing community income, the success of the KUBE Bintang Terang program, 3) supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the KUBE Bintang Terang program. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The research subjects were managers and members of the KUBE program. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Triangulation used is source triangulation and technique. The results of the study show that: 1) the KUBE program is a group / place for learning to obtain knowledge and skills and get the opportunity through activities in making embroidery clothes and beautiful brooches. 2) The role of KUBE in binding community income is a benchmark for KUBE programs. 3) The success of the KUBE program to be able to increase income and family welfare which is characterized by increasing members' income, social relations are well established. 4) Factors supporting the establishment of cooperation between managers, members, suppliers of raw materials, markets, government, the motivation for entrepreneurship, maintaining trust and market demand. The inhibiting factor is the lack of capital, sometimes there are unfavorable relationships between members, giving rise to a sense of boredom, lack of market demand in certain months and the number of competitors. The recommendation for the KUBE Bintang Terang program is to hold regular meetings, increase capital, and carry out promotions to areas that have not been reached. HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN, AKTIVITAS FISIK DAN STATUS GIZI DENGAN KEJADIAN HIPERURISEMIA DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS TELAGA BIRU KOTA PONTIANAK

Increasing life expectancy in Indonesia affects the elderly population in Indonesia is getting higher. The elderly is a group have risk for hyperuricemia, characterized by a buildup of uric acid that cause joint pain. Based on the data Riskesdas 2013, disease prevalence according to diagnose in Indonesia (24,7%) and in West Borneo (22,3%). It can be affected by physical activity, nutritional status and food selection behavior based on the level of knowledge. This research aimed to determine the correlation of knowledge, physical activity and nutritional status with the incidence of hyperuricemia of Telaga Biru Public Health Center, Pontianak 2016. This research was a cross sectional which sampling technique is accidental sampling with the number of sample 65 samples. The statistical test used is chi square test. The result of this research most of the knowledge level of respondents in less category (58,5%), physical activity in light category (73,8%) and obesity nutritional status (33,8%). The result of analysis with chi square test showed that there was no correlation between knowledge, physical activity and nutrition status with the incidence of hyperuricemia (p >0.05). Suggest for the next researcher to do reaserch on respondent with heavy physical activity to see its effect on elevated levels of uric acid.

This research aimed to study the respond of the growth and production of green beans toward shade treatment. The research location is in Pentadio Timur, Telaga Biru Gorontalo, which was done for 3 months from Desember 2016 to Februari 2017. The research design is RAK or group randomized design, with four level of treatment, which is, P0 = without shade, P1 = 1 layer of paranet thickness treatment, P2 = 2 layer of paranet thickness treatment, P3 = 3 layer of paranet thickness treatment. The Effect of Implementing the Experiential Learning Model in Listening Comprehension for the Eleventh Graders at SMAN 1 Telaga Biru

This study is aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the experiential learning in listening comprehension with the focus on the implementation of the class story using language experience at SMAN 1 Telaga Biru. As the pre-experimental research, this study involved one class consisted of 27 students in the eleventh graders. However, most of the students of the eleventh graders in this school have some problems in their listening comprehension. This current research, therefore, aims at finding the result of the students’ listening comprehension by using experiential learning in focusing on the class story using language experience for the eleventh graders at SMAN 1 Telaga Biru and defining the students’ achievement in listening comprehension by using experiential learning focusing on the class story using language experience. This study also explored the learners’ listening comprehension by analyzing the result of the students’ pre-test and post-test. It was found that the mean of the pre-test was 60 while the mean of the post-test was 80,6. By analyzing this result, it indicated that the post-test was higher than the pre-test. In conclusion, the finding of this research showed that teaching listening in the eleventh graders of SMAN 1 Telaga Biru using experiential learning in focusing on the class story using language experience was effective to teach students’ listening comprehension. Therefore, it can be suggested that it was an alternative way to use of experiential learning focusing on the class story using language experience in teaching listening.

Pola Kemitraan Usaha Tani Kelapa Sawit Kelompok Tani Telaga Biru dengan PT. Sawindo Kencana melalui Koperasi di Kabupaten Bangka Barat Provinsi Bangka Belitung

Farming Partnership of Palm Oil Farmers Group of Telaga Biru, with PT. Sawindo Kencana in West Bangka of Bangka Belitung.This research is to determine the mechanism of partnership between PT. Sawindo Kencana with farmer groups of Telaga Biru through cooperatives, farmers' rights and obligations and the company as well as the role of the position of the institutions concerned, the effectiveness of cooperation, and obstacles encountered in the course of the partnership. Location of research was selected by using purposive sampling. The type of data includes quantitative and qualitative data derived from primary and secondary data. Methods of data collection are interviews and documentation. Data analysis was conducted by using qualitative and quantitative descriptive method. The research results showed that the mechanism of implementation of the partnership based on a written agreement between farmers' groups of Telaga Biru and PT. Sawindo Kencana already realized well. The rights of farmers are to obtain the seeds, fertilizers, crop tool, material of pesticides, and marketing of the crop. The rights of the company is to obtain the harvest from farmers. Obligations of farmers namely provide crop yields of quality palm oil. The company's obligation namely to provide the needs of farmers such as fertilizer, harvesting equipment, materials of pesticides, and crop yields rights. The effectiveness of cooperation, namely the certainty of the role of the farmer groups of Telaga Biru in the company in partnership was not running optimally, but the certainty of the role of the company is already well underway. Obstacles in the farmer group of Telaga Biru namely that the farmers ‘background is different, lacking the discipline of saving money, and lack of participation in the care of smallholdings.

Keanekaragaman Semut (Hymenoptera: Formicidae) pada Berbagai Subzona Hutan Pegunungan di Sepanjang Jalur Pendakian Cibodas, Taman Nasional Gunung Gede-Pangrango (TNGGP)

Abstract
 The existence of ants in the nature are influenced by biotic and abiotic components. Different of conditions in a habitat determine biodiversity inside, belonging to ants diversity. This research was aim to know diversity, richness, and distribution of ants in various Mountain Forest Subzone in along Cibodas Climbing Track, TNGGP. It was first study about ants of TNGGP because no previous research was held so that can becomed reference for next research and conservation step. The used method was descriptive with survey technique of pit fall trap by alcohol located in 3 mountain forest subzones for 6 position that were Telaga Biru, Cibeureum waterfall, Air Panas, Kandang Badak, Mount Gede Summit, and Alun-Alun Suryakencana. This research has identified 4 subfamilies and 12 species. Diversity index of submontane, montane, and subalpine forest severally was about 1.568, 1.347, and 0.676.

Konflik Peran Ganda Perempuan Pengusaha Industri Kecil di Kabupaten Bangkalan Madura

The critical problem that faced by women entrepreneur was the strain / conflict which appear between way of life and career, the strain was reflected by conflict role. That’s were business and household. That was the problem that faced by women entrepreneur of batik small business in Bangkalan Madura. This research was aimed to know the factors that influencde business-related factors, family-related factors, personal factor to the double role conflict of small business in Bangkalan. Batik small business was used as a research object, because over 50% batik handycraf was women. This research placed at Tanjung Bumi which use 54 respondens as the sample, which were taken from three villages, desa Tanjung, desa Telaga Biru, and desa Paseseh. The result of this research showed that comfortability of life, self-respect, business satisfaction, time of work, children dan the liquidity of the business had significant influence to the double role conflict of the women entrepreneur in batik small business. Filling comfortable because she could help to increase the welfare of the family by having a business, were the domain factor which could eliminate the double role conflict to the women entrepreneur. Married happiness, worker and education had no significant influence to the double role conflict of the women entrepreneur.
