Pengaruh Sumber Daya Manusia dan Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi Pada Sistem Keuangan Desa

The rapid development in the development of accounting information systems, such as Siskeudes, was initially not integrated online with the local government. However, it was later adapted to be integrated online. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of human resources and the use of information technology on the village financial system. The population in this study were village heads, village secretaries, village treasurers, IT operators, BPD, LPM, and community leaders in the city of Denpasar who made financial reports, namely 27 villages. The sample collection used was the purposive sampling method. The sample in this study was determined as many as 4 respondents in each of the 27 villages, so that 102 respondents were obtained. The data analysis technique used was Descriptive Statistics analysis, classical assumption tests and multiple regression analysis. The results of the analysis showed that Human resources have a significant positive effect on the village financial system in Denpasar City, having an impact on improving the village financial system in Denpasar City. The second result of the use of information technology has a significant positive effect on the village financial system in Denpasar City. The increasing use of information technology will have an impact on improving the village financial system in Denpasar City. The implications of this study are that the villages in Denpasar City in terms of human resources are expected to be able to improve their human resources by providing technical training to improve skills in preparing financial reports so that village officials can carry out their duties and can rely on appropriate technological knowledge and will improve the village financial system. In terms of the use of information technology, it is expected to maximize the use of existing information technology, and use software that is in accordance with applicable government regulations so that it can facilitate existing work and ultimately maximize the village financial system in Denpasar City.

Teacher educators’ and pre-service teachers’ confidence toward the use of ICT in education

Todays’ teacher education needs to provide pre-service teachers with readiness to integrate ICT in education. Teacher educators are expected to serve as role models for pre-service teachers, providing them with examples and meaningful experiences of learning with ICT. The aim of this study is to provide an insight into teacher educators’ and pre-service teachers’ confidence toward using ICT in education. In this study, both groups assessed their Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK). The aim was to study the possible differences between teacher educators’ and pre-service teachers’ TPK assessments, and based on their assessments, to provide insights into teacher educators’ readiness to act as role models for pre-service teachers. The participants of the study were 123 pre-service teachers and 83 teacher educators. The results indicate that the assessments of teacher educators were higher than pre-service teachers’ assessments at the sample level. The results also indicate that pre-service teachers and teacher educators can both be divided into two aligning sub-groups, with higher and lower assessments. However, the comparison of these sub-groups showed that the assessments of the pre-service teachers in the higher sub-group were higher than with the assessments of the teacher educators in the lower (modest) sub-group. This study provides evidence for variation among teacher educators and pre-service teachers in terms of their TPK. This implies a need for more tailored ways to develop TPK in teacher education.

Does environmental cooperation with suppliers matter under environmental strategy focus and digital technology knowledge?

ABSTRACT Environmental cooperation with suppliers (ECS) helps firms to effectively manage dispersed suppliers, thereby addressing stakeholders’ environmental concerns. However, the literature is inconclusive regarding the relationship between ECS and financial performance (FP). Unlike previous research on ECS, this study uses the motivation-opportunity-ability (MOA) theory to analyze the relationship between ECS and FP, with firm innovativeness as a mediator. Furthermore, environmental strategy focus and digital technology knowledge are considered contingent factors in the link between ECS and FP. The SPSS version of PROCESS was employed to test the hypotheses, using ordinary least squares regression with survey data collected from 136 Chinese firms. The results reveal that firm innovativeness positively mediates the relationship between ECS and FP. Moreover, environmental strategy focus and digital technology knowledge strengthen the indirect impact of ECS on FP via firm innovativeness. Finally, this study provides theoretical and practical implications for firms when implementing ECS and firm innovativeness.

The role of personal and contextual factors when investigating technology integration in general and vocational education general and vocational education

This study aims to investigate the extent to which perceived personal and school-related factors influence the quality of technology integration in teaching at the upper secondary level and how this differs between general and vocational education. The quality of technology integration was operationalised through the different activities supported by technology according to the ICAP model. We used data from a survey of 1660 teachers from 106 upper secondary schools in Switzerland to construct structural equation models of the interplay between school-related factors, teacher-related factors, and technology integration. Apart from confirming that technology integration is generally high across all school types, the study shows that among school-related factors, goal clarity is a significant predictor of constructive learning activities and of all the three personal factors considered in the study: teachers’ positive beliefs, technological knowledge, and technological pedagogical content knowledge. Moreover, these personal factors, in turn, constitute significant predictors of all the four types of learning activities. Both full-time and dual vocational schools integrate constructive and interactive activities more than general schools, and vocational teachers report significantly higher beliefs and lower technological pedagogical content knowledge than general school teachers. These findings confirm the importance of considering the interplay between personal and school-related factors when training teachers in technology integration, with interesting differences across school types that seem to depend more on the contextual culture than on the curriculum organisation.

Gendered demand for environmental health technologies: Evidence of complementarities from stove auctions in India

We study if prior exposure to one environmental health technology - improved sanitation - complements or substitutes for additional household investments in another such technology – an electric induction cookstove. We conducted a cookstove demand revealing auction ten years after a random half of our sample had been exposed to an intensive sanitation promotion campaign in rural India. We observe that demand for induction cookstoves among men seems to be affected by information they obtain following the sanitation intervention, whereas preferences and demand among women, who likely have more at stake, are unchanged. This points to the importance of understanding interactions between gender, information, knowledge, and preferences for technology, and decision-making power over the adoption of such technology if we are to achieve environmental health targets.

The investigation also covers effective strategies for integrating these technologies, with the goal of optimizing the green hydrogen production process. This study aims to significantly advance knowledge in sustainable technologies, emphasizing the pivotal role of power electronics in electrolysis, fostering the generation of renewable energy, and reinforcing the commitment to a greener and more sustainable future.

Digital transformation: A roadmap to leverage businesses for SMEs

COVID-19 has been a critical turning point for businesses worldwide, compelling them to adopt digital technologies to sustain their economic activity. However, with limited resources such as budget constraints, transforming business strategies to integrate digital technologies is tedious. As the global market continues to evolve into a dynamic digitalised landscape, adopting digital transformation has become essential for businesses, especially start-ups and small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), to remain competitive. Consequently, this study presents a roadmap for start-ups and SMEs to guide them in looking for support in digital technologies to leverage their businesses. The methodology includes a review of the industry’s best practices and case studies based on successful implementation, while fostering a customer-centric approach. Visits to trade fairs and interviews with small business owners were conducted (1) to understand the challenges faced by SMEs and (2) to identify their need to use digital technologies. The results show that one of the main challenges SMEs face is that apart from the lack of proper infrastructure, they lack confidence in adopting technology in their business. They require knowledge of digital technologies to properly define their requirements and use digital platforms. A framework mapped on the hierarchy of effects model is proposed to assist SMEs embarking on digital transformation systematically to learn, adapt, evolve, and sustain their businesses based on their needs and pace. This research contributes to the strategic roadmap, which provides step-by-step guidelines to support SMEs that could be part of their respective countries’ economic growth.

The role of green social behavior in frugal innovation and entrepreneurial success: The moderating impact of knowledge management

Entrepreneurial success has become a necessary element of economic survival due to the current economic conditions and uncertainty worldwide. Thus, in this research, we explore green social behavior's impact on social, technological, and business innovation in a sample of Vietnamese manufacturing firms. Results of a PLS methodology reveal that green social behavior positively impacts the three aspects of innovation. The research aims to find the mediating and moderating aspects of social, technological, and business innovation and knowledge management. The outcomes confirm that only social and business (excluding technological) innovation effectively mediate the links between green social behavior and entrepreneurial success whereas knowledge management is a significant moderator. However, knowledge management insignificantly moderates the relationship between technological innovation and entrepreneurial success. This research guides policymakers in making policies related to entrepreneurial success using green social behavior, innovation, and knowledge management.

Technology transfer and global value chain upgrading of manufacturing firms: Evidence from China

Breaking through the predicament of "low-end lock-in" and achieving the upgrading of enterprises within the global value chain (GVC) is a critical issue in the study of internationalization strategies for enterprises in emerging economies. This paper uses China, a quintessential representative of such economies, as a case to explore how technology transfer can facilitate the upgrading of enterprises' GVCs. This research aims to reshape the international strategic positioning of Chinese enterprises by promoting the integration and development of technology transfer and the GVC. Utilizing patent data from Chinese manufacturing enterprises, as well as data from Chinese industrial enterprises and customs records from 2004 to 2014, this study empirically examines the relationship between technology transfer and the upgrading of enterprises' GVCs. Additionally, the moderating effect of industrial agglomeration is incorporated into the research framework.The findings reveal that both technology transfer in and technology transfer out significantly positively influence the upgrading of enterprises' GVCs, highlighting the crucial role of technological knowledge flow in enhancing enterprise positioning within the GVC. Furthermore, industrial agglomeration is shown to exert a positive moderating effect on GVC upgrading as a result of technology transfer out. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers, enterprise managers, and academics, enabling a more nuanced understanding of the pivotal role of technology transfer in reshaping GVCs. Consequently, it offers robust support for the internationalization strategies of Chinese enterprises.

Spatial Development of Technological Knowledge and the Evolution of International Business Activity across Technological Paradigms

How has the spatial structure of the development of technological knowledge in international business (IB) shifted over time, moving between paradigms for IB and society? To answer this research question, we use the method of historical analysis and attempt to synthesize literature streams on international business history and technological paradigms to trace this evolution. Drawing insights from this synthesis and building on evolutionary theoretical approaches in IB, we argue that three elements - (i) technological (T), (ii) global institutional (G), and (iii) local institutional (L) – are key to understanding the spatial development of technological knowledge in IB, as these elements enable, expedite, or constrain technological and organizational change in MNEs within a paradigm and during periods of paradigmatic shifts. We conclude with a case illustration of a firm founded in the 1700s to assess its responses to (and actions that may have prompted) the shifts in the T, G, and L elements across the three technological paradigms – mechanical (1780-1880), electromechanical (1880-1980), and digital (1980-present).

A TPACK-based Model of EFL teacher Preparation to Develop Student-Teachers' Professional Agency in CALL

Teacher agency plays a crucial role in teachers' professionalism and makes them capable of acting powerfully in their teaching context. The present study was an attempt to explore the role of the TPACK model in developing a professional agency for English as a foreign language (EFL) student-teachers. We conducted a qualitative study in which seven TPACK sessions were held involving eight student-teachers. We analyzed data collected through narratives and interviews using deductive-inductive thematic analysis. The findings of the thematic analysis indicated that the TPACK model has a constructive role in developing EFL student-teachers' professional agency. The findings of this study showed that the TPACK model enhances the integration of technology with content and pedagogy, ultimately amplifying individuals' ideas and voices. Additionally, it allows educators to explore more effective teaching methods, resulting in increased motivation among teachers. A deeper understanding of technological knowledge empowers educators to seamlessly incorporate technology into their teaching practices. By providing teachers with a sense of ownership and expertise in the material they present, the TPACK model enables educators to make well-informed decisions and enhance their pedagogical knowledge, skills, and strategies to meet the evolving needs of their students and adapt to the changing educational environment.

Big Science in physics: a look at the decade ahead

Abstract For decades Big Science facilities in physics and astronomy have attempted to answer some of the biggest questions possible – how did the Universe begin, how will it end, what are the fundamental constituents of matter? Tackling these questions has resulted in building bigger, ever more complex facilities. Yet with it comes costs and delays when pushing the boundaries of technological knowledge. This paper briefly reviews some of the big projects in physics and astronomy in recent years as well as looking at what lies ahead in the coming decade.

A Survey Study on TPACK Framework for Normal Students of English Major in Ethnic Colleges and Universities: Empirical Analysis Based on Structural Equation Modeling

With the continuous advancement of education informatization, Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), as a new theoretical framework, provides a novel method for measuring teachers’ informatization teaching ability. This study takes normal students of English majors from three ethnic universities as the research object, collects relevant data through questionnaires, and uses structural equation modeling to conduct data analysis and empirical research to investigate the differences in the TPACK levels of these students at different grades and the structural relationships among the elements in the TPACK structure. The technological pedagogical knowledge element of the TPACK structure was not obtained by exploratory factors analysis but through path analysis and structural equation modeling, the results show that the one-dimensional core knowledge of technological knowledge (TK), content knowledge (CK), and pedagogical knowledge (PK) have a positive effect on the two-dimensional interaction knowledge of technological content knowledge (TCK) and pedagogical content knowledge (PCK); furthermore, TCK and PCK have a positive effect on TPACK; and TK, CK, and PK indirectly affect TPACK through TCK and PCK. On this basis, suggestions are provided to ethnic colleges and universities to develop the TPACK knowledge competence of normal students of English majors.

Validation of the Teachers AI-TPACK Scale for the Indian Educational Setting

Educators work in extremely dynamic and complex classroom environments where they must continuously alter and update their understanding. Specifically, possession of rich, organised, and integrated knowledge from various domains including knowledge on subject-matter, knowledge of students' thinking and learning, and, increasingly, knowledge of technology is essential. By integrating these three aspects, Mishra and Koehler developed the Technological Pedagogical and Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework in 2006 which offers a thorough and comprehensive method for incorporating technology into the education setting. On the parallel, use of information technology has rapidly increased in the field of education, especially with the introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Thus, the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework needed to be updated to reflect the growing incorporation of AI into educational standards. Hence, investigator Ning and colleagues in the year 2024 built a framework for incorporating AI into TPACK and developed a robust scale titled Teachers AI-TPACK Scale that measures the teachers competencies in incorporating AI into their teaching environment. The objective of this work was to test the validity of the scale in the Indian educational setting. With a sample size of 660 teaching faculties in universities and colleges across India, this study followed the routine stages such as construct validity analysis in the form of Exploratory Factor Analysis using SPSS V27, followed by Confirmatory Factor Analysis in AMOS software. The original scale with 39 items across seven dimensions were retained throughout the validation process and resulted in a high reliability score of 0.907. This provides compelling evidence for the validity and reliability of the teachers AI-TPACK scale in measuring Indian educators' knowledge and skills at the juncture of AI with pedagogy, technology and content. This is currently the only scale available to measure this construct in India.

Obstacles and enablers for using telehealth services online in nursing practice: A systematic review

Background: Comprehensive reporting on the barriers and enablers to telehealth adoption in industrialized nations has identified a wide range of significant factors. We aimed to get the important research information on the elements that nurses found most beneficial and hindering when using online telehealth services for nursing practice, we conducted a systematic review study. Method: This systematic review study was conducted in accordance with PRISMA principles. We searched for articles that discussed the aspects of using telehealth services for nursing practicum that nurse practitioners found most helpful and inconvenient. The international electronic databases that were used were Web of Science, Scopus CINAHL, and PubMed. The search was conducted for articles published in the period from 2011 and 2023. Only research that were written in English and published were considered. Results: We considered 7 articles in our systematic review analysis, totaling 3729 participants. Inadequate resources (time, money) were mentioned as barriers relevant to both organizational and patient issues. Negative attitudes, a lack of telehealth experience, and inadequate training and support were considered to be impediments to the use of telehealth (3). According to the findings of the Kleib et al., 2018 study, the following variables affect user competency and proficiency: age; Prerequisites for qualifying include prior knowledge of information technology and a sufficient, early, and continual informatics education. Conclusion: Numerous facilitators and obstracles were identified. In addition to administrative support, health professionals and information technology specialists must come to local agreements when transitioning from traditional face-to-face nursing practice to telehealth utilization.

Absorbance measurement for interdisciplinary educational experiment on cytotoxicity

Abstract We propose a multidisciplinary educational experiment, linking knowledge and skills in physics, biology and information technology through the training and application of the research method by students. From a physics point of view, the experiment consists in light absorption measurement, and in terms of biology, it demonstrates the process of cytotoxicity evaluation by means of the colorimetric method neutral red uptake in vitro test. The test allows to determine the concentration of a test drug at which 50% cytotoxicity (CC50 values) of the cells is observed. After initial exposure to the tested drug, neutral red (NR) is added to the cell culture medium, it is absorbed by the living cells and subsequently released in a desorb buffer. The cell culture medium becomes coloured, and the more intensive colour corresponds to higher cell viability, while more transparent solution corresponds to lower number of living cells. The NR concentration in the solution is estimated by the absorbance value. We measure the absorbance of NR by utilizing a very affordable educational-grade spectrometer and compare its output with that of a professional microplate reader. We show that the educational spectrometer gives a result on the CC50 value that is in agreement with the acceptable values of the official protocol. We include a comment on the results when performing this laboratory exercise in one class of 18 year old students (in their last year of secondary education). The experiment can be also successfully applied in the laboratory practicum of first year university study.

The Effectiveness of Website-Assisted Learning Multimedia to Improve Mathematics Learning Achievement of Elementary School Students

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of web-assisted learning multimedia in improving Maths learning achievement among primary school students. This study used a quasi-experimental approach, using a pre-test and post-test design to measure students' learning achievement. Data collection was conducted using test instruments designed to assess learning outcomes in a structured and objective manner. The effectiveness of the web-based multimedia intervention was measured through the Normalised Gain (N-Gain) test, which evaluates the level of improvement in students' mathematics learning achievement. Differences in the dependent variable between the experimental and control groups were further analysed using Paired Samples t-test and Independent t-test. The results of the N-Gain test indicated that the experimental group showed significantly greater improvement in Mathematics learning achievement compared to the control group, with the experimental group achieving a medium category N-Gain score of 0.68, while the control group's score was categorised as low at 0.17. In addition, the Paired Samples t-test and Independent t-test showed significance levels below 0.05, further validating the substantial impact of the web-based multimedia on student achievement. These findings underscore the potential of web-based multimedia as an effective instructional tool to improve students' learning achievement, especially in the area of Mathematics. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge in educational technology and offers practical insights to enhance the learning process among young learners

The Future Museum: Integrating Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual-text with AI-enhanced Information Systems

This study examines how AR, virtual text, and AI in future museums affect visitor engagement, knowledge acquisition, emotional response, and social interaction. The study uses econometrics equations, text analysis, thematic qualitative data analysis, and agent-based modelling. The economic models show that virtual text type, depth of knowledge, personalization, accessibility options, and AR museum experiences increase visitor engagement, knowledge, emotional response, and social interaction. Thematic analysis displays visitor viewpoints such as AR curiosity, personalization, and cultural significance, while correlation matrices indicate their relationships. Bayesian econometrics, text analysis, thematic qualitative data analysis, and agent-based modelling are used to explore museum visitors' interactions with augmented reality, virtual text, and AI-enhanced information systems. These devices improve visitor engagement, social connection, emotional response, and information collection. Self-reported data biases, context biases, and rapid technological advancement limit the study. Museums can benefit from user-centric technology, AR, personalization, and cultural knowledge. The main findings reveal that these technologies significantly increase museum visitors, emphasizing that future museum administration and design must carefully adopt new technology. The findings may affect museum staff, designers, and decision-makers. Learning important technology factors improves AR, virtual text, and AI-enhanced information system design and deployment decisions. UX design prioritizes visitor choices, while immersive and integrated displays connect museum experiences. These practical implications force museums to actively and practically integrate technology to stay relevant. The project's findings, practical insights, and visitor experiences will improve future technological and cultural organisation research. The whole process contributes to the discussion on how emerging technologies affect museum experiences and innovation and decision-making in the ever-changing cultural heritage context.
