SCIENTIFIC PROJECT TEAMS MANAGEMENT IN WARTIME REALITIES: PERSONNEL SECURITY ENSURING ASPECTS

The study is devoted to the scientific project teams management in the realities of wartime and personnel security ensuring aspects. The purpose of the work was to identify features that should be taken into account by personnel management and scientific and pedagogical personnel who are heads of scientific projects during the management of project teams engaged in research work under the influence of wartime risks. The research methodology means the use of content analysis and specialized literature processing, as well as taking expert opinion on modern features of scientific project management into account. As a result of the study, features were identified that should be taken into account by managers and scientific and pedagogical staff , including heads of scientific projects, when managing project teams mission is to provide research work under the influence of wartime risks; the characteristic features of the scientific projects management in comparison with applied research were investigated; the peculiarities of the scientific project team formation are determined, personnel risks accompanying the process of implementing a scientific project both in peacetime and in wartime are determined, and proposals are made for optimizing the management of scientific projects in the realities of wartime. The peculiarities of the scientific project team formation have been established, which include: the need for a team member to belong to the work team of a scientific institution or institution of higher education, the team members' compliance with the characteristics of active researchers, their availability of professional publications on the topic of the project; search for people with scientific degrees and scientific titles and united by common scientific interests. The field of application of research results is science management, project management, flexible management and team management in scientific and educational institutions, critical infrastructure enterprises and business structures.

Challenges of team building in the context of digitalization at production facilities

The article deals with the fact that the progress of scientific research and the evolution of the global economic environment in the XXI century has caused significant transformations in the paradigms of the functioning of organizations, generating new strategies for doing business. Particular attention is paid to the study of the dynamics of the formation of command structures in the conditions of digital transformation, which necessitates a comprehensive scientific analysis, especially in the perspective of remote work organization. In this context, the digital space becomes a predominant arena of interaction, which affects the structuring and development of social interrelationships within organizations. The article investigates the process of team building and interaction in the organization in the conditions of digitalization, as well as the active introduction of the remote format of work in its activities. The study includes the stages of team formation, the impact of offline and online interaction, employee satisfaction, problems and decisions made by managers to compensate for the shortcomings of digitalization. The results indicate the need for further research in the areas of virtual collaboration skills, organizational culture management, and leadership adaptation to remote work environments to optimize virtual team processes.

However, it can lead to life-threatening complications for both the mother and fetus. In vitro fertilization (IVF) is also associated with an increased probability of adverse outcomes compared to the general population. Timely diagnostics and personalized treatment, taking into account the extremely high risk of complications if PHPT and pregnancy result from IVF, require attention of healthcare professionals and formation of a multidisciplinary team.

Distributed Adaptive Secure Consensus Tracking Control for Asynchronous Switching Nonlinear MASs Under Sensor Attacks and Actuator Faults

A distributed adaptive secure control algorithm is proposed for asynchronous switching nonlinear multi-agent systems (MASs) in pure-feedback form while considering the sensor attacks and actuator faults, which eliminates the effect of attack signals, actuator faults and uncertainties without knowing the sign of the control gain functions. Since the system states measured by the sensors are corrupted by the malicious attacker, only the post-attack system states can be obtained. Thus, an improved coordinate transformation is constructed by using the post-attack system states and a backstepping method based on the improved coordinate transformation is developed to solve the consensus tracking control problem of the researched systems under sensor attacks. The common Lyapunov function is designed to ensure the stability of all asynchronous switching subsystems of each agent. In the end, a simulation example is presented to illustrate the theoretical results’ validity. <italic xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">Note to Practitioners</i> —This paper deal with the distributed adaptive secure consensus tracking control problem for asynchronous switching nonlinear MASs, whose models can describe many phenomena in nature such as biological processes, robot team formation and sensor networks. It is extremely challenging to achieve the tracking control problem of the researched asynchronous switching nonlinear system in an unsafe network environment, where the unknown sensor attacks signals, actuator faults coefficients, and randomly switched non-affine nonlinearities exist together for the followers. Furthermore, the control design and stability analysis of the researched system is based on the common Lyapunov approach, which makes the developed approach more engineering oriented.

PENDAMPINGAN PENGURUSAN IZIN PIRT UMKM JAMU WR9 DI DESA WRINGINSONGO KECAMATAN TUMPANG KABUPATEN MALANG

Community service activities were carried out in Tumpang District, Malang Regency with partners, namely UMKM Jamu WR9 which is a representative of MSMEs in Wringinsongo Village, Tumpang District, Malang Regency. These business actors include the production and sales processes. Community service activities are carried out with the aim of providing understanding to business actors regarding the factors supporting business activities, namely legality and business management factors, in this case PIRT licensing so that business activities carried out are not only profit-oriented, but business activities can continue to develop in the future. by paying attention to and implementing supporting factors for business activities and by providing assistance with PIRT licensing. The activity implementation method consists of three stages. The first preparation stage includes pre-survey, team formation, proposal creation and submission, team and partner coordination as well as preparation of tools and materials to assist PIRT licensing. The second stage is the program implementation stage in the form of assistance which begins with discussion and preparation for PIRT management by providing a sealer machine and stove. The third stage is the evaluation and reporting stage. Evaluation is carried out by comparing the conditions of partners before and after program implementation using interview and observation methods. After that, a report is prepared for subsequent publication. With the implementation of this program, there will be an improvement in society's value order in the field of education, especially in the fields of economics and law. Keywords: PIRT permit, UMKM

NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN INVESTIGATING CRIMES OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE OR SEXUAL EXPLOITATION COMMITTED BY USING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

This article explores the relevance of national and international cooperation in investigating crimes of child sexual abuse and exploitation using information technology. It will look at the cooperation between prosecutors and forensic experts, which is essential to carry out accurate forensic examinations of the devices involved, thus facilitating the identification and proof of offences. It also discusses the involvement of specialised NGOs, which contribute significantly to the detection of crime and provide additional resources and expertise in the investigation process. The role of psychologists and psycho-educators in interacting with child victims to ensure a sensitive and appropriate approach, safeguarding their welfare and ensuring respect for the best interests of the child will be addressed. In terms of international cooperation, the article examines international legal assistance, in particular, the formation of joint investigation teams, essential for coordinating cross-border efforts in the context of globalised crime, and collaboration with organisations such as Interpol and NCMEC. Thus, the article stresses that these forms of cooperation create an integrated and comprehensive framework for tackling the crimes under consideration, ensuring the protection of victims and bringing offenders to justice.

Pelatihan Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Permainan (Digital Game Bassed Learning) Menggunakan Aplikasi Kahoot bagi Guru Madrasah MIN 3 Langkat

Digital based game learning is a medium that contains educational content that is translated into games with the aim of involving students. Digital game based learning utilizes learning through learning patterns and playing using a computer or smartphone. Through this media, students are stimulated by three things at once, namely emotional intelligence, cognitive intelligence and psychomotor skills. This community service activity aims to improve the skills of participants, namely MIN 3 Langkat teachers, in using digital teaching media based on game learning. Implementation of community service is carried out through several stages such as Pre-Survey, Formation of a PKM Team, Making Proposals, Coordinating Teams and Partners, Preparing Training Tools &amp; Materials, Implementing training, evaluating. The number of participants was around 25 MIN 3 Langkat teachers. They feel they have gained insights and skills that are applicable and useful. After attending the training, all participants who initially did not know and could not use the Kahoot application became aware and even 44% of the 25 participants were able to use the Kahoot application well.

Advancements, Dynamics, and Future Directions in Rural Environmental Governance Research in China

Rural environmental governance serves as the foundational pillar of national governance, intricately linked to the modernization of agriculture and rural areas, as well as the cultivation of rural culture. Furthermore, it plays a pivotal role in fostering industrial prosperity, ensuring effective governance, and elevating living standards. This study employs a range of sophisticated software tools, including VOSviewer, Bibliometrix, and ArcGIS, among others, to analyze and construct a comprehensive knowledge map encompassing 3370 research articles focused on rural environmental governance, sourced from the CNKI (China National Knowledge Infrastructure) and WOS (Web of Science) databases. This analytical endeavor delves into research themes, key areas of interest, developmental milestones, and emerging trends within the realm of rural environmental governance, thereby shedding light on the overarching trajectory of research endeavors in this domain within China. The findings reveal distinct phases in the evolution of research trends in the Chinese rural environmental governance literature, encompassing four distinct epochs: a period of sluggish growth (2002–2009), a phase of accelerated expansion (2009–2014), a span marked by stable and rapid advancement (2014–2021), and a recent period characterized by fluctuating decline (2021–2022). Moreover, the analysis highlights a burgeoning diversity in the distribution of relevant research disciplines. However, it is noteworthy that there exists a scarcity of highly prolific authors, and the formation of cohesive research teams has encountered challenges, underscoring significant deficiencies in research collaboration and academic discourse. As a prospective direction, future research should be tailored to the unique natural resources and socio-human characteristics intrinsic to different regions. It should also emphasize interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary investigations, with a focal point on economically disadvantaged regions situated in the central and western parts of the nation. Such an approach aims to bolster the overall caliber of domestic research endeavors in the field of rural environmental governance.

Enhancing Science Education Through the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Learning Model: An Experimental Study on Process Skills and Learning Outcomes at Middle School

This study investigates the implementation of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Learning Model, which emphasizes teamwork and individual accountability. Traditional teaching methods often fail to actively engage students in developing analytical and practical skills. The STAD model aims to enhance students' process skills and learning outcomes in science education. The research was conducted at SMP Muhammadiyah Ambon with seventh-grade students from four classes. Two classes were randomly selected, with class VIIa as the experimental group (30 students) and another class as the control group (30 students). Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and multivariate analysis (MANOVA) with SPSS version 26.0. A quantitative experimental approach was employed, using a Pre-test, Post-test, and Non-equivalent Control Group design. Data collection focused on science process skills and learning outcomes. The results demonstrated a significant impact of the STAD model on improving learning outcomes and science process skills. There was a notable increase in average scores from pre-test to post-test in both experimental and control groups. MANOVA results (Pillai's Trace, Wilks' Lambda, Hotelling's Trace, and Roy's Largest Root) showed very high F-values, indicating significant differences between the groups in enhancing students' science process skills and learning achievements. The STAD model proved more effective than traditional methods, suggesting its integration into a collaboration-based curriculum. Effective implementation requires STAD-based teacher training, including team formation techniques, motivational strategies, and methods for assessing team performance. Adopting these recommendations can significantly boost student participation, teamwork skills, and overall learning outcomes.

In this paper, we examine new and emerging uses of artificial intelligence (AI) and automated decision making (ADM) across various aspects of work, namely hiring, job redesign, and team formation, and their impact on disabled people. Building on disability as both a generative form of embodiment and knowledge, we consider how AI and ADMs can enable and empower disabled people for work, but also their inherent problems and contradictions. We ask the following questions: What are the implications for disabled workers? And importantly, how can we make these systems fairer and more inclusive, especially for disability?

Privacy-Preserving and Diversity-Aware Trust-based Team Formation in Online Social Networks

As online social networks (OSNs) become more prevalent, a new paradigm for problem-solving through crowd-sourcing has emerged. By leveraging the OSN platforms, users can post a problem to be solved and then form a team to collaborate and solve the problem. A common concern in OSNs is how to form effective collaborative teams, as various tasks are completed through online collaborative networks. A team’s diversity in expertise has received high attention to producing high team performance in developing team formation (TF) algorithms. However, the effect of team diversity on performance under different types of tasks has not been extensively studied. Another important issue is how to balance the need to preserve individuals’ privacy with the need to maximize performance through active collaboration, as these two goals may conflict with each other. This research has not been actively studied in the literature. In this work, we develop a team formation (TF) algorithm in the context of OSNs that can maximize team performance and preserve team members’ privacy under different types of tasks. Our proposed PR iv A cy- D iversity- A ware T eam F ormation framework, called PRADA-TF , is based on trust relationships between users in OSNs where trust is measured based on a user’s expertise and privacy preference levels. The PRADA-TF algorithm considers the team members’ domain expertise, privacy preferences, and the team’s expertise diversity in the process of team formation. Our approach employs game-theoretic principles Mechanism Design to motivate self-interested individuals within a team formation context, positioning the mechanism designer as the pivotal team leader responsible for assembling the team. We use two real-world datasets (i.e., Netscience and IMDb) to generate different semi-synthetic datasets for constructing trust networks using a belief model (i.e., Subjective Logic) and identifying trustworthy users as candidate team members. We evaluate the effectiveness of our proposed PRADA-TF scheme in four variants against three baseline methods in the literature. Our analysis focuses on three performance metrics for studying OSNs: social welfare, privacy loss, and team diversity.

Monitoring the Training of School Management Teams in Educational Institutions of the Novosibirsk Region

Introduction. The article discusses topical problems of team building typical for state educational organizations. The problems of team formation, formal leadership and the differences between a team and a working group are considered. The purpose of this article is to present the methodological grounds for the use of team building in the management activities of school leaders, as well as to show the monitoring of the training of management teams in the Novosibirsk region. Methodology. The study of the possibilities of using the technology of team building in the organization of innovative activities of teachers of educational organizations (on the example of management teams of schools in the Novosibirsk region) was carried out in several stages: organizational, diagnostic, approbation, and reflexive-evaluative. The purpose of the monitoring was to study the conditions created for the professional growth of members of school management teams at the regional and municipal levels, as well as the demand for various forms of training. Also, in the course of monitoring, information was collected on organizations that train management teams. Results. The analysis of the information provided has shown that the heads of general educational organizations and representatives of municipal educational authorities often do not understand what the concept of “training of management teams” includes and often replace it with a referral to advanced training courses and training events of the group. Conclusion. The monitoring recorded the need to form a system of work at the regional and municipal levels to organize the training of school management teams. Heads of educational institutions should consciously approach the issues of team building and assess the need to create a team based on the actual need.

Selecting workers like expert for crowdsourcing by integration evaluation of individual and collaborative abilities

Team-based worker selection has been extensively studied for Mobile Crowdsourcing (MCS), in which a set of workers are recruited to form a team to complete complex tasks collaboratively. However, existing studies face two typical challenges: 1) how to dynamically evaluate workers’ individual abilities and collaborative contributions to the team; 2) how to select unknown workers to form a team with high quality at low cost. To tackle the above challenges, this paper proposes an Integration of Individual and Collaborative Abilities based Dynamic Worker Selection (IICA-DWS) algorithm to recruit excellent workers as a team in a high-quality and low-cost style. In the IICA-DWS algorithm, each worker’s individual ability and collaborative contribution to the team are evaluated more accurately using the Approximate Shapley Value (ASV). In addition, a high-quality team formation method is established to complete complex tasks at low cost. This involves the selection of both team leaders and team members. In this process, the Multi-Armed Bandit (MAB) model is adopted to dynamically select excellent workers using exploration and exploitation phases. Lastly, the IICA-DWS algorithm is evaluated through theoretical analysis and experimental results. The results show that the IICA-DWS algorithm can improve the data quality of tasks by 47.3% and reduce the cost by 61.7% on average. Moreover, the IICA-DWS algorithm has a high probability of approximating optimal results, which shows the best performance among the comparative algorithms.

Do perfectionism types matter? Auditors' ability to detect fraud and the moderating role of time budget pressure: evidence from Egypt

Purpose This study aims to examine how auditors' perfectionism types and time budget pressure (TBP) influence fraud detection in Egypt. Design/methodology/approach We utilize a mixed-methods approach, combining questionnaires with an experimental case study in a within-subjects quasi-experimental design. Based on Almost Perfect Scale-Revised (APS-R), perfectionism traits were categorized using cluster analysis into adaptive, maladaptive, and non-perfectionism. Auditors from Egyptian firms performed fraud-related tasks with TBP manipulated. Findings Auditors' perfectionism types significantly influence fraud detection capabilities. Adaptive perfectionists demonstrated higher relevance in identifying fraud factors and excelled in accurately assessing fraud risks and audit procedures planning. Conversely, maladaptive perfectionists identified more but less relevant factors. TBP notably impacted maladaptive and non-perfectionist auditors' planning quality, unlike adaptive perfectionists, who showed resilience. Practical implications Findings provide insights to audit firms to bolster audit quality through team formations and task assignments, harnessing the strengths of adaptive and maladaptive perfectionists. Regulatory entities are positioned to integrate safeguards that recognize auditor capabilities and vulnerabilities, particularly under TBP. Considering psychological assessments in auditor selection and development assures alignment of traits with audit tasks, enhancing audit quality. Originality/value This study breaks new ground in the effects of auditor perfectionism on fraud detection, considering situational factors like TBP in emerging markets. Through a mixed-methods approach and cluster analysis, it reveals how different perfectionism traits influence audit effectiveness, offering insights not previously considered in auditing literature and suggesting practical applications for enhancing fraud detection in similar contexts.

Current technological advances have begun to give rise to many new media trends, one of which is podcasts. Banjarsari Village, Probolinggo Regency is one of the villages that has a podcast program managed by PIK-R Banjarsari Youth. This program is one example of the information media and public services in the current era of digitalization. However, the problem is, that Banjarsari Village does not utilize existing facilities, and the podcast made has not reached most of the people of Banjarsari Village. Therefore, this study aims to formulate a podcast development strategy to build a digital society and provide digital-based public services in Banjarsari Village. This research uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Data collection is used through primary data, namely interviews, observations, documentation, and secondary data such as journal articles, reference books, websites, and also previous research. Through the perspective of Robbins and Coulter's strategy theory, it was found that there are three levels of strategy. First, corporate strategy, adding a YouTube channel as a differentiator of discussion topics and being active in social media as a consulting room. Second, competitive strategies, there needs to be consistency in uploading content and podcast administrators must be good at choosing content concepts and themes that can attract the attention of the audience. Third, functional strategy, the formation of a production team in creating podcast content as well as mentoring and training to Banjarsari Village youth. Strategi Inovasi Untuk Meningkatkan Pelayanan Perizinan Penelitian Asing

Indonesia's natural and cultural riches have attracted the attention of foreign researchers to conduct research in Indonesia. Indonesia is considered to be one of the largest biological laboratories in the world, so there are many objects that can be used for research by foreign researchers. To provide research licensing services for foreign researchers who wish to conduct research in Indonesia, a legal basis was issued, namely Law No. 11 of 2019 concerning the National System of Science and Technology which regulates research licensing for foreign researchers in Indonesia. As a supporter of Law no. 11 of 2019, BRIN Regulation no. 22 of 2022 concerning Ethical Clearance has been issued. To provide foreign research licensing services according to Law No. 11 of 2019, it is carried out by the Directorate of Research and Innovation Licensing and Scientific Governance of the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). To make it easier to apply for research permits for foreign researchers, several service improvements were made, namely the first was the formation of an ethics commission team to replace the TKPIPA team to evaluate incoming proposals. Second, the number of files that foreign researchers need to prepare is less than before, namely from 14 documents to 7 documents. Third, creating an ethical clearance website to upload the required files in digital form which was previously done offline and submitting hard copy files. Fourth, the addition of financial reporting features to make it easier to check payments and send research progress reports by foreign researchers.

'Probably just sexism'- gendered experiences of resource access in rugby.

Research pertaining to the experiences of women in rugby is scarce, which, coupled with the limited visibility of the sport and difficulty accessing resources, suggest that women's rugby remains undervalued. Indeed, evidence of such gender inequalities remains largely anecdotal, with little rigorous research undertaken to understand the perspectives of women in rugby. This study aimed to explore the experiences of a diverse cohort of rugby players in relation to their participation in the sport and their ability to access resources. Twenty UK-based rugby players (10 men, 9 women and 1 non-binary person aged 29.1 ± 8.3 years) from school, university, club, military, and semi-professional environments, volunteered to participate in semi-structured interviews (36 ± 12 minutes) discussing their rugby experiences in relation to their gender and playing level. Interviews were transcribed verbatim, and a reflexive thematic analysis was undertaken. A widespread under-prioritisation of women in rugby was highlighted. Gender biases were apparent in access to changing rooms, pitches, quality coaches, and playing opportunities, and were reportedly propagated at the managerial level. Irrespective of gender, some amateur players reported difficulty accessing a suitable rugby environment. Insufficient player numbers precluded the formation of second teams, often resulting in inexperienced players competing beyond their ability. Women's rugby players experienced considerable gender bias. This exploratory study highlights a need to address such issues to protect player welfare. Interventions to change the culture in rugby clubs and increased representation of women in managerial positions in rugby are recommended to enact meaningful change.

Exploring the current state of technology transfer in the United States: perspectives and improvement strategies from the experts.

Technology transfer (TT) is a necessary, yet complex process to convey and disseminate scientific knowledge to the commercial sector. However, multiple barriers in TT can impede commercialization and innovative progress. To cultivate a deeper understanding, we conducted five interviews with strategic, elite leaders in different areas of TT in the United States. Experts shared their perspectives on the current state of TT, what needs improvement, and potential solutions to enhance the TT landscape, with a focus on biotechnology and medical devices. The formation of strong management teams, a comprehension of the regulatory, reimbursement, and funding pathways and policies, and thorough market assessments were noted as key aspects for venture success. Collaboration with Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs), industry experts, and strategic partners are also essential to support academic innovators and guide them throughout the complex commercialization process. There is agreement that a venture should have a defined vision and clear goals with a robust business case for the innovation; early involvement of TTOs is essential. Comprehension of the complexities and key facets of TT, while also streamlining the process, will better position biomedical innovators for success.
