Manajemen pembelajaran siswa dengan Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) di SLB Samara Bunda Yogyakarta

This study aims to determine the implementation of learning management students who have autistic disorders that include planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating for children with autistic disorders in Samara Bunda SLB Yogyakarta. Supporting factors and inhibitors in the implementation of learning for students who experience autistic disorders in Samara Bunda SLB Yogyakarta. The results of the ability of students who experience autism disorders after getting learning at Samara Bunda Yogyakarta SLB, this study uses a qualitative approach, the data sources in this study include the principal, vice principal of the affairs of Curriculum, Studentism, Advice and Infrastructure, class teacher, school committee, people old students, and documents, the main instrument in this study is the researcher. Learning management for students with autistic disorders consists of 1). Learning planning, 2). Organizing learning, 3). Implementation of learning, 4). Evaluation of learning. Students' ability as a result of participating in learning programs at Samara Bunda SLB is that students become emotionally stable, independent, confident, concentrated, child behavior becomes more controlled, social communication skills are increased, skilled and capable. Factors that support the learning of students with autistic disorders in Samara Bunda SLB are good and directed student abilities, good cooperation between the school and parents / guardians, good cooperation between schools, the government, stakeholders and observers of education in students with autism disorders , availability of facilities and infrastructure, adequate funding, and experts. The inhibiting factors in achieving learning goals are the students' initial abilities that have not been good, not directed, and behaviors that cannot be controlled, the absence of continuity between teachers and parents

The Role of Culture Mentabeq in Shaping the Character of Class 1 Students at SDN 2 Selengen

This study aims to determine the role of mentabeq culture in shaping the character of students at SDN 2 Selengen. This study is a qualitative study with a qualitative descriptive analysis model. The data and data sources in this study are primary and secondary. Primary data is data that is directly obtained from the source, namely the principal, class teachers, and students, while secondary data is supporting data that is useful for supporting primary data. Data collection techniques in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation, and the analysis techniques use data reduction, data classification, and drawing conclusions. In this study it was found that mentabeq culture can have a major influence on the formation of student character such as, good, polite, ethical, and obedient to the norms that apply both at school and in the community, because this culture is able to foster a sense of mutual respect between each other..

The Analysis of English Teacher Talk Modification in Classroom Interaction of 2nd Grade Students at MTsN 6 Kubang Putiah

This research was due to some problems that were found in MTsN 6 Kubang Putih. First, teacher gave less pauses during her talk in the classroom. Teacher talk should be give more pauses for students’ comprehension. Second, the teacher did not do self-repeat frequently. She only does it sometimes. Self-repeat in teacher talk also need to be done frequently. Self-repeat is when the teacher repeat her sentence or word for the students to get a better understanding. This research was descriptive qualitative. , the subject of the research is the teacher and students of English class of the second grade in MTsN 6 Kubang Putih in academic year 2021. There is six class and one class consist of 30 students. The researcher focused on teacher’s talk in the classroom interaction in English class. The researcher used purposive sampling to choose the student to be interviewed or participant. The data of the present study are collected through observation in the classroom and conducting interview. The researcher found that the modifications seen in teacher talk in language classrooms, including a slower rate of speech, longer and more frequent pauses, exaggerated and simplified pronunciation, more basic vocabulary, less subordination, more declaratives and statements versus questions, and more self-repetition, were all present. This supports the findings from Chaudron and Dodu's study of modification of teacher talk in language classrooms. The findings of this research highlighted the importance of teacher modifications in language teaching. It is essential for teachers to vary their speech rate, use pauses, and stress particular words in order to emphasize the messages they are trying to communicate within the classroom. Self-repeat can aid learners in understanding the instructional content better. Additionally, teachers should incorporate simple vocabulary within their discussions, and use more declarative senteces. Modifying the teacher talk is an effective strategy in helping learners better comprehend the material being presented.

Analisis Hambatan Belajar Siswa dalam Menyelesaikan Soal Cerita Konsep Perkalian Bilangan Cacah

Effective education in this context involves preparing students to explore and apply mathematical knowledge in various situations, providing a strong foundation for the development of intelligence and thinking skills. This research focuses on the challenges faced by 4th-grade students at SDN 4 Sukajaya in solving word problems related to multiplication of whole numbers. The object of this study is the students' difficulty in understanding the concept of multiplication, while the subjects are 10 students who experience difficulties and a class teacher. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, aiming to provide a detailed account of the problems faced by students. The study found learning obstacles among 4th-grade students at SDN 4 Sukajaya in solving word problems involving the concept of multiplication of whole numbers. These obstacles include: 1) difficulty in understanding the problems, 2) difficulty in identifying mathematical concepts, and 3) difficulty in calculations. The contributing factors are: 1) internal factors, such as motivation, intelligence, behavior, attitude, and students' physical condition (e.g., fatigue), and 2) external factors, such as facilities, teacher quality, and curriculum. Efforts to address these obstacles include: regular problem-solving practice, the use of varied and enjoyable teaching methods and media to boost motivation, and cooperation between teachers and students in monitoring learning progress

Preschool Teachers' Attitudes about Inclusive Education and Its Influencing Factors in China.

The purpose of this study is to describe the current status of preschool teachers' attitudes about inclusive education and discuss the factors that influence these attitudes. A total of 449 preschool teachers who have students with disabilities or special educational needs in their classrooms and 638 teachers without students with disabilities or special educational needs in their classrooms volunteered to complete the online survey. The survey included two components: a Basic Information Questionnaire and the Early Childhood Inclusive Education Attitude Questionnaire (ECIEAQ). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-tests, and ANOVA. Scores in the two dimensions of Positivity and Promotion were higher than those in the two dimensions of Resistance and Passivity, indicating an overall positive attitude about inclusive education. Attitudes about inclusive education significantly differed by gender, preschool location, inclusive education training opportunities, and receipt of a special education financial allowance. Inclusive class teachers who are female, aged over 30, teach classes with a child-to-teacher ratio of more than 14, and who work in urban areas show higher levels of Promotion or Resistance than general class teachers. Overall, preschool teachers hold a positive attitude about inclusive education. Training opportunities and a special education financial allowance should be provided to foster positive attitudes. Certain groups of inclusive class teachers may need more support and resources to implement inclusive education.

EFL Teachers’ Emotions Toward Online-Merge-Offline Teaching Mode in University

The Online-Merge-Offline (OMO) teaching mode has emerged as a prominent new approach in language education reform with the expansion of online teaching in China. Due to the emotional complexity involved in educational reforms, this study explores the emotions expressed by Chinese EFL teachers in OMO classes, investigates the situational causes, and examines emotion regulation strategies in English Language Teaching. A questionnaire was distributed to 48 Chinese EFL teachers teaching General English (GE) using OMO mode across three normal universities, followed by semi-structured interviews for deeper insights. After collecting and analyzing data from questionnaires and interviews, the findings revealed a spectrum of emotions were experienced by EFL teachers, with positive emotions prevailing, particularly in GE classes. Love, surprise, and joy were prominent across different settings. Situational triggers encompassed classroom dynamics, institutional factors and social influences; reflecting teachers’ beliefs and identities, students’ learning engagement, behavior and academic achievements, colleagues and administrators’ work support and emotional support, policy makers’ reform mandate, and the Confucian heritage cultures. To regulate positive and negative emotions, Chinese EFL teachers primarily employed appraisal, followed by situation modification and selection. This study underscores the importance of emotional awareness for both students’ learning achievement and teachers’ professional development in ELT. It encourages Chinese EFL teachers to recognize the significance of their emotions in teaching effectiveness and offers insights for educators and administrators into supporting teachers’ emotional well-being and professional growth.

Utilization of Ice Breaking Techniques to Reignite Students' Engagement in Learning within Elementary Education

It is common and often happens when the teaching and learning process occurs; students feel bored with learning. Teachers must be more creative in finding out the way to create more enjoyable learning. This study aims to understand the implementation of ice breaking so that every learner uses ice breaking to know the supporting factors and to overcome the inhibiting factors. This study uses a descriptive-qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were teachers as class teachers and class I.A. students. Data collection techniques in this study used interviews, observations, and documentation. The validity of the data in this study used source and technology triangulation. The interactive analysis model was used for data analysis in this study and was carried out in four stages: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that students were thrilled and interested in using ice-breaking in the teaching and learning process, which was carried out at the beginning, middle, and end of learning. Students' very high interest and interest affect student learning outcomes so that students can understand the learning material faster. For subsequent researchers, it is hoped that they can apply and find out about the types of ice breaking that can overcome student boredom and restore students' interest in learning.

Deskripsi Strategi Guru Menanamkan Profil Pelajar Pancasila SDN 17 Pontianak Kota

This study aims to describe the teacher's strategy to instill a student's Pancasila learner profile carried out in class. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research type of case study and data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the class teacher's strategy in instilling the profile of Pancasila students in class IV A has been carried out by teachers through several strategies that have been implemented such as (1) The teacher's strategy to instill the profile of Pancasila students in the dimensions of faith, piety to God Almighty and noble character by teaching students to apply religious values at school, behaving positively as a role model for students. (2) The teacher's strategy to instill the global diversity dimension of the Pancasila learner profile by providing an understanding of the cultures that exist in Indonesia, applying tolerance. (3) The teacher's strategy to instill the profile of Pancasila students in the dimension of mutual cooperation by increasing students' cooperation skills. (4) The teacher's strategy to instill an independent dimension of the Pancasila learner profile by providing tasks that must be done by students themselves. (5) The teacher's strategy to instill the profile of Pancasila learners in the dimension of critical reasoning by involving students in open discussions. (6) The teacher's strategy instills the creative dimension by giving art or craft project assignments. Obstacles contained in the application of class IV A strategies to instill the profile of Pancasila learners.

Problem Identification of Dyspraxia Students in Primary School

This research aims to describe the problem identification of dyspraxic students in primary schools. In identifying the problems of students with dyspraxia in elementary school, it provides knowledge related to learning obstacles in elementary school. The type of research conducted is a qualitative case study at SDIT Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar. The data sources in this study are classes that have children with special needs, class teachers and Counselling Guidance (BK) teachers. Data collection in this study was through observations and interviews with class teachers and Counselling Guidance teachers at SDIT Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar. The results of this study indicate that SDIT Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar has carried out activities to identify the problems of students with dyspraxia and provide solutions to students with dyspraxia. In addition, the results of this study are that SDIT Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar has identified students by adjusting the curriculum, mapping of children with dyspraxia, and providing evaluations or solutions in learning obstacles for students with dyspraxia. In problem identification activities, students with dyspraxia need special handling from class teachers and Counselling Guidance teachers with the aim that students are able to learn well to achieve differentiated learning objectives. In addition, in this identification it is necessary to specifically handle and provide good training starting from writing for children with dyspraxia, special assistance strategy activities, activities up and down stairs, fine motor assistance, and making appropriate LKPD.

Implementation of Inclusive Education Programs in Reading Practice for Low-Grade Slow Learners in Elementary Schools

Education is a fundamental entitlement granted to children, aimed at preparing forthcoming generations. However, it's imperative to acknowledge that not all children grasp education at the same pace, often referred to as slow learners. Additionally, the lack of specialized mentorship in primary schools exacerbates this issue. Therefore, it's crucial for teachers to employ effective strategies to address these challenges. This study seeks to outline the utilization of an approach method in supplementary reading sessions tailored for slow learners. Employing a descriptive qualitative research design, data was gathered through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The research, structured as an intrinsic case study, involved two class teachers and slow learner students in grades one and two at SDN Wiropaten. Data analysis comprised data reduction, display, and inference drawing, with data validity ensured through source and technique triangulation, along with crosschecking. Findings indicate the effectiveness of the approach method in catering to the needs of slow learner students in lower grades. Several programs and outcomes stemming from this approach were identified. Grade one initiatives encompassed building rapport with slow learners, fostering trust, facilitating social interaction, and implementing follow-up strategies. Grade two initiatives included assigning independent tasks, engaging in random student participation (such as alphabet memorization), word games, and guided reading exercises.

KoPer: School Lıteracy Movement Strategy To Strengthen Readıng And Wrıtıng Skılls

The School Literacy Movement is an activity program that focuses on reading and writing skills. The School Literacy Movement was formed due to the low interest in reading and writing of students. So that the purpose of this school literacy movement is to achieve maximum quality of education quality related to reading and writing skills. The School Literacy Movement is a very important thing to develop through a strategy, namely KoPer (Literacy Group). KoPer (Literacy Group) has the purpose of strengthening reading and writing skills. This study aims to strengthen students' reading and writing skills through the school literacy movement strategy at Gonilan 02 State Elementary School, namely with KoPer (Literacy Group). The methods used in this research are observation, interview and documentation methods with the subjects of students, class teachers and the principal of Gonilan 02 State Elementary School. The results of this study are that there are three stages in the school literacy movement; the habituation stage, the learning stage and the development stage. Of the three stages, Gonilan 02 State Elementary School has implemented well through 15-minute reading activities, guided reading, shared reading, organizing a literacy-rich environment, compiling and making schedules, library visits, wall magazines and reading corners in class. In this KoPer (Literacy Group) there are strategies implemented by the school, namely, Digit Literacy, Library, Around the Region, and Literacy-Based Environments. This shows that KoPer(Literacy Group) is an alternative way to strengthen reading and writing skills for primary school students reading and writing skills for primary school students.

PENGGUNAAN E-MODUL BERBASIS KEARIFAN LOKAL PANTURA DALAM MENINGKATKAN KECERDASAN LOGIS PADA SISWA AUTIS

This study analyzes the effectiveness of interactive e-modules based on Pantura local wisdom in teaching animal and plant body parts to autistic students in a fourth-grade class at SDLB Sunan Kudus. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the research utilized structured interviews with the class teacher and direct observations of classroom activities to gather data on the implementation of the e-modules and their impact on student engagement and learning outcomes. Findings reveal that these locally grounded e-modules significantly enhance the logical intelligence and problem-solving skills of autistic students by facilitating a more engaging learning experience that connects educational content with their local environment, thereby increasing motivation and participation in science education. The study highlights the necessity of using concrete and visual learning materials, as autistic students benefit from tangible resources that aid comprehension. Additionally, the integration of technology, such as voice recorders and interactive media, supports the learning process by making it more accessible and enjoyable. The results emphasize the critical role of culturally relevant teaching methods and the need for ongoing guidance and supervision to foster the academic and cognitive growth of students with special needs, contributing to the understanding of effective pedagogical strategies in special education and advocating for the incorporation of local wisdom and technological tools to enhance learning outcomes for autistic students.

PRE-SERVICE TEACHERS' PRACTICUM IN GRADE R: INSIGHTS FROM SOUTH AFRICA

Since 1994, South Africa has prioritized quality education by ensuring that young learners are taught by qualified teachers. A notable shift has been the inclusion of qualified teachers in Reception year classes. This study investigates the experiences of Level 3 and 4 Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase student teachers during their practicum in Reception year classrooms and the perspectives of university lecturers who assessed them. Using an experiential learning theoretical framework and a qualitative interpretive research design, data were collected through open-ended questions posed to student teachers. Findings indicate that student teachers had positive experiences, but university lecturers noted that lessons were often teacher-centred, lacking play or inquiry-based methods. Lecturers also highlighted that the Foundation Phase teacher education programme did not adequately support Reception Year teacher development, citing time constraints and insufficient physical space for practical activities. The study recommends re-evaluating the inclusion of Reception year training in the B. Ed Foundation Phase programme and developing an assessment tool to evaluate Grade R student teachers' planning and presentation skills.

Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Matematika Berbasis Aplikasi Android Menggunakan Power Point dan iSpring pada Materi Himpunan untuk Siswa Kelas VII SMP Swasta Swadaya Tarus

The number of smartphone users is increasing across various demographics, including students. With the presence of smartphones among students, it should be able to assist learners in enhancing their interest and understanding of mathematics effectively, anytime and anywhere. Therefore, this research aims to develop a mathematics learning media based on an Android application using PowerPoint and iSpring for set theory material for Grade VII students at Swadaya Tarus Private Junior High School that is valid, practical, and effective. The method employed in this research is research and development using the ADDIE development model: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data for this research were obtained through interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results of this research show that the set theory class application meets the criteria for valid, practical, and effective learning media for set theory material. The average total validity score from three validators is 4.34, indicating that the Android-based mathematics learning media falls into the valid category. The average practicality score from the large class teacher is 4.38, and the responses from the small-scale trial students were 4.6, while the responses from the large-scale trial students were 4.67, placing the Android-based mathematics learning media in the practical category. Additionally, the pass rate for small-scale trial students was 80%, and the pass rate for the large-scale trial students was 70%, indicating that the developed Android-based mathematics learning media falls into the effective category.

Prevalence of bullying among pupils in Baghdad.

To find out the prevalence of bullying among primary school students in an urban centre, and to categorise its types. The descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted from October 1, 2018, to March 31, 2019, in Baghdad, Iraq, and comprised primary school children of either gender aged 9-15 years studying in schools in all the 3 directorates of the Al-Karkh side of the city. Data was collected through face-to-face interviews with the subjects, from school data, and through interaction with social-guide teachers of the respective classes. Data was analysed using SPSS 28. Of the 1,000 subjects from 50 schools, 537(53.7) were girls, 322(32.2%) were aged 11 years and 409(40.9%) were in the fifth grade. Overall, 146(14.6%) students reported having been bullied, 29(2.9%) were bullies themselves, while 59(5.9%) were both bullies and the bullied. It was found that almost quarter of pupils take part in bullying other pupils and almost 20% of pupils were kicked, pushed or hit by other Pupils during the last month. Bullying was found to be prevalent in the study's sample. No clear legislation is present to prevent or control the social problem that has a significant effect on the mental and behavioural burden on students.

Development of MAILI 21 (Lectora Inspire 21 Interactive Learning Media) to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Elementary Schools

<span lang="EN-US">Learning Pancasila and Citizenship Education that lacks variety and innovation causes students to become less enthusiastic and bored quickly. Therefore, it is necessary to combine learning with IT-based media with conventional media to improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to develop interactive learning media Lectora Inspire and determine the feasibility, practicality, effectiveness, and able to improve student learning outcomes in the subject of Pancasila and Citizenship Education material united in diversity in grade III SD. This research uses the Borg and Gall model which is limited to stage eight. The research subjects consisted of material experts, media experts, class teachers, and students. Data collection techniques used interviews, validation sheets, response questionnaires, and tests. The results showed that Lectora Inspire interactive media is very feasible, practical, and effective in improving student learning outcomes. The material expert validation value reached 90% with the "very feasible" category, the media result validation value reached 85% with the "feasible" category, and the media practicality value reached 90% with the "very practical" category. Thus, the development of Lectora Inspire interactive media is concluded to be very feasible, practical, and effective in improving student learning outcomes.</span>

Development of E-Module Material on Recognizing the Environment With Dance

Dance learning in elementary schools is no less essential in learning activities. However, teachers still need to clarify many things regarding the purpose of learning dance in schools, where teachers still think that learning dance must teach students to become dancers. Therefore, this study aims to develop e-modules on recognizing the environment with dance for grade IV elementary school students. This type of research is development research with the ADDIE development model. The data collection techniques used in the study were observation, interviews, documentation, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis techniques used are normality test, t-test, and N-Gain test. The results of the feasibility assessment of e-modules to recognize the environment with dance from material experts obtained a score of 92.26%. In comparison, the evaluation of media experts obtained a value of 89.02%. In addition, responses from users on product trials obtained a percentage of 98.18% from students and 100% from class teachers. The effectiveness of e-modules to recognize the environment with dance is evidenced in the t-test which obtained a significance value of 0.001 less than the significance level of 0.05, which means that there is a significant effect of using e-modules to recognize the environment with dance. In the N-Gain test, the result is 82.80, which can be concluded that the e-module of recognizing the environment with dance that has been developed is declared feasible and effective in learning dance.

The multifunctionality of rural space: Agriculture and pedagogical rural tourism in the southernmost region of Brazil

The article addresses pedagogical rural tourism developed by farmer families in the southernmost region of Brazil. Three agricultural production units were evaluated, which host students and teachers for classes on agroforestry, agroecology, and natural resource conservation. It is noted that farmers play an important role as educators, highlighting the multifunctionality of rural space and agriculture.

Program pembelajaran bagi peserta didik autis di Raudhatul Athfal Maestro NU Purbalingga

The study conducted at Raudhatul Athfal NU Maestro Purbalingga outlines the learning program for autistic students in group A as well as the problems faced by teachers in the 2022/2023 school year. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study consisted of a class teacher and a group A student who had been detected as autistic. Data collection was done through interviews and observations. The data obtained was tested for validity by increasing persistence, triangulation, and using reference materials. Data analysis techniques were carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Without special preparation, autistic students joined their classmates. Teachers use various learning approaches, such as games and movements, and adjust their schedules accordingly. Due to limited electronic means, learning media is more traditional. Standardized adjustments for autistic children are used to conduct holistic evaluations. The absence of special preparation, the absence of a dedicated space, and the difficulty of handling and evaluating autistic students, which interferes with the overall learning process, are the main obstacles.

Казахская народная музыка в саксофонных произведениях композиторов Казахстана

This article is about studying the saxophone works of Kazakh composers Arthur Orenburgsky, Alibi Abdinurov and Yulia Lebedeva, based on Kazakh folk music. These compositions have become an important part of the performing and pedagogical practice of saxophonists in Kazakhstan, and they are regularly performed at major concert venues, festivals and competitions. The purpose of the work is to study the process of creating compositions, their role in the formation of the national repertoire and the development of performing practice, as well as to identify the characteristic features in style and performance technique.The authors use various methods in their research: complex approach, including analytical and historical that includes collection and exploration of archival material, as well as anthropological method like interviews with Kazakh composers and teachers of saxophone class of the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory.The study revealed the main musical characteristics of saxophone compositions corresponding to Kazakh traditional music: metrical freedom, improvisation, uniqueness of rhythm, shaping and timbre. The studied works represent the authors’ reinterpretation of traditional primary sources, through imitation of rhythmic elements of dombra playing and sound production characteristic of folk wind instruments. These elements define the national color in music and can be considered as “ethnic identity”.From a practical point of view, this work will be useful for musicians, teachers and researchers interested in the synthesis of folk and contemporary music, unique stylistic features and new possibilities of using the saxophone in Kazakh musical culture.
