Study of the Procurement of Landscape Plant Nurseries in Sukamantri Village Tamansari Sub-district Bogor Regency

Abstract Nurserymen play an important role in the landscape industry by producing and providing plants according to the required specifications. Sukamantri Village is one of the centers of landscape plant production and sales in Bogor Regency. The main problem faced by the nursery is the fluctuating demand for landscape plants, which can cause a shortage or excess of plant stock. This research was conducted in Sukamantri Village, Tamansari Sub-district, Bogor Regency, from November 2022 to February 2023. This study aims to obtain information on the variety of plants in the nurseries and analyze the problems in order to obtain recommendations for the development and sustainability of the nursery. Data obtained through surveys, interviews, and secondary data. They were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively using the SWOT approach regarding internal and external factors in the procurement of landscape plants. The results show the variety of plants includes indoor and outdoor ornamental plants, herbal plants, and fruit plant seedlings. The problem faced is the decline in domestic and foreign sales. Some of the recommended strategies include developing human resource skills, improving production technology, better planning production, promoting on social media, and expanding the market by strengthening networks.

Effect of GnRH treatment as a potential solution for ovarian disorders in dairy cows infected with foot and mouth disease in Indonesian smallholder farms.

The outbreak of foot and mouth disease (FMD) in Indonesia induces reproductive disorders in dairy cows that lead to economic losses to smallholder dairy farms. The study was to assess the influence of FMD on reproductive traits and evaluate the effect of gonadotropin hormone-releasing hormone (GnRH) administrations on the reproductive performance in FMD-infected dairy cows. The study was conducted in Jemowo village, Taman Sari sub-district, Boyolali district, Central Java, Indonesia. A total of 155 cows were used to identify the reproductive disorders on FMD-infected dairy cows aged 2-10 years old. Cows were raised in similar conditions and fed diets. A single dose of 2 ml GnRH was injected intramuscularly into 96 ovarian disorder cows. Reproductive performance was measured by service per conception (S/C), conception rate (CR), and pregnancy rate (PR). A descriptive study was conducted to demonstrate the results. The study showed that 61.9% of FMD-infected cows had reproductive disorders, whereby 53.5% ovarian hypofunction, 4.52% silent heat, 1.94% repeat breeder, 1.29% ovarian atrophy, and 0.65% endometritis. FMD-infected cows injected with GnRH had a 98% reproductive recovery rate. Moreover, the S/C, CR, and PR of cows injected with GnRH were 2.02%, 51%, and 85%. GnRH administrations enhanced the reproductive traits of FMD-infected dairy cows indicated by the improvement of CR and PR.

Analisis Efektivitas Pembelajaran Geografi pada Pelaksanaan Tatap Muka Terbatas (TMT) di SMA se-Kecamatan Taman Sari Jakarta Barat

This study aims to determine the implementation of geography learning during the pandemic and the effectiveness of geography learning in senior high schools throughout the Taman Sari sub-district, West Jakarta. This research is located in Senior high school in Taman Sari, West Jakarta, which consists of 5 schools namely, SMAN 17 West Jakarta, SMA Sentosa Pagi, SMAN 2 Jakarta, SMA Santo Leo and Ricci School. The data collection techniques used in this study were observation techniques, documentation studies and interview techniques. The analytical technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis, which is to explain the analysis of the effectiveness of geography learning in the implementation of limited face-to-face learning in class X IPS SMA in Taman Sari, West Jakarta. Which will be presented in the form of percentages, tables, graphs, images and others. The results showed that (1) the implementation of learning in high schools throughout the Taman Sari District during the covid-19 pandemic was carried out face-to-face limited and online by using the whatsapp group application, google classroom and zoom meeting. (2) the effectiveness of learning geography in the face-to-face period is limited, judging from the quality of learning that is classified as quite effective with a score of 76.22%, the level of teaching is quite effective with a score of 78.37%, incentives are categorized as quite effective with a score of 68.90% and learning time is in the category of quite effective with a score of 90% Learning geography in face-to-face limited shows quite effective results, which is equal to 78.37%.Keywords: Learning Effectiveness, Limited Face-to-face

Analysis of generation and attraction in Bogor Regency (Case study: Tenjolaya sub-District, Tamansari sub-District and Tenjolaya sub-District)

<p>Tenjolaya Subdistrict, Tamansari Subdistrict, and Ciomas Subdistrict of Bogor District has an area of 61.74 km<sup>2</sup>, divided into 25 villages, and 1 urban-village with those total populations density are 4,819.7 people/km<sup>2</sup>. The increasing population and significant development in the region has increased the movement of traffic flows to and from the region, which is expected to cause some particular problems in traffic congestion on Road segments. This research aims to make the model of the trip generation and the trip attraction caused by land use such as education area, medical, office, lodging, physical fitness center and tourism in the three sub-districts. MKJI 2017 is used as a data processing guideline for the method of calculation of transport analysis. Then use Trip Generation Manual and modelled into SATURN software. Total trip generations from 3 sub-districts of the study area are 4,403.78 trips/hour, and with total trip attractions are 6,165.33 SMP/hour. The design of the transportation modelling equation for Ciomas subdistrict, Tamansari District, and Tenjolaya subdistrict is 21,230 – 0,950 (X). The Model of trip generation and trip attraction has a value of R2 = 0,9687. The level of service is obtained index in the range of A until D, with an average is B, indicating a relatively stable condition. although in some areas, it is still necessary to repair and improve road network infrastructure, and strive for a comfortable and efficient alternative public transport system (time, cost, energy) to transfer people from private vehicles to Public transport.</p>

Training in the Manufacture and Utilization of Black Garlic as an Immunity Booster During COVID-19

Immunity is one of the most important things to considered when trying control the spread, and reduce the severity of COVID-19. There are many ways to boost the immune system. One method is the use of the herb Thibbun Nabawi, black garlic. Black arlic contains high levels of S-allyl cysteine. It is six times higher than raw garlic. This compound is known to increase the levels and activity of the immune components such as natural killer cell, cytokine. To increase immunity during the Covid-19 pandemic, a training program was conducted to increase knowledge surrounding the use of black garlic. The program was conducted in the Tamansari sub-district, Bandung and used the Training for Trainers (TFT) method. The evaluation of the training was carried out through pre-test and post-test questionnaires as well as through direct questions to participants. Results showed that there was an increase in public knowledge regarding the manufacture and utilization of black garlic to boost immunity. It was 33.546% and 47.151%, respectively.

Penyuluhan Hukum Tentang Peranan Alat Bukti Persangkaan di Lingkungan Gatep Permai Kelurahan Taman Sari Kecamatan Ampenan Kota Mataram

A proof by law is essentially a process of determining the substance or essence of the existence of facts obtained through a reasonable measure with a logical thought of the facts of the past which are not clear to be clear facts in relation to the matter examined. Therefore, we conducted legal counseling on the role of evidence of suspicion in the beautiful gatep environment of Taman Sari sub-district, Ampenan sub-district, Mataram City. Which aims to spread widely about the importance of evidence in civil matters especially in the settlement of civil cases which should include evidence of suspicion in evidence as a means or tool to resolve a matter that is key and very important and decisive in resolving civil cases in addition to improving knowledge and awareness of the law in society. The method used in this extension activity is to use the method of lectures and discussions. So it is hoped that participants can better understand the material presented. The target audience for this activity is students, village youths and the general public in the area of Gatep Permai. Based on the results of the evaluation conducted by the counselor after the completion of this counseling activity in general can be said that the new participants know the material presented, due to the lack of knowledge of participants about the role of evidence of suspicion.

Feasibility of rice farming jajar legowo planting system in Dramaga, Ciomas, and Tamansari Sub-District, Bogor Regency

The area of land that applies the Jajar Legowo planting system is still little, it indicates there were only fewer farmers who applied this technology. Even though the implementation of that system is efficient to increase rice production and farmers' income in the Sub-District Dramaga, Ciomas, and Taman Sari. This study aims are to determine the application of rice farming with the Jajar Legowo planting system and to analyze the feasibility of farming in Dramaga, Ciomas and Tamansari Districts, Bogor Regency. The data obtained were processed quantitatively and qualitatively. Farming feasibility analysis used R/C and B/C ratios. The Jajar Legowo planting system applied by farmers was a 2:1 type, the area of the Jajar Legowo planting area was between 200 m2 – 1,500 m2 with an average yield of 1,214 kg per 1,000 m2. The results of the feasibility analysis of farming obtained an acceptance value of IDR 6,678,571 the total cost is IDR 3,226,190 therefore; farmers get income of IDR 3,452,381 in one growing season within an area of 1,000 m2. Obtaining an R/C value of 2.07 and a B/C value of 1.07, rice farming with the Jajar Legowo system is feasible and able to increase the farmer’s income.

GIS-based urban village regional fire risk assessment and mapping

Fires in residential areas are one of the threats out of 13 disasters in Indonesia. Fires are disasters based on their causes, classified as disasters caused by human negligence. This research aims to identify residential fire incidents, assess fire risk levels, and map the risk level. We used the geographic information system (GIS) analysis approach and direct observation of the study area. The research location was in the Tamansari sub-district in Bandung City. The subdistrict of Tamansari consists of 20 neighborhood units (rukun warga/ RW) with 22,995 people and 6,598 households. We conducted a field survey from December 2019 to March 2020. We used a spatial approach to analyze fire risk in this residential area by using GIS to map urban-village regional fire incidents and assess the risk level. There were four fire hazard variables: population density, building density, building quality, road class. On the other hand, vulnerability variables are based on the community's social parameters: population density, percentage of old age and children under five, people with disabilities, and the population's sex ratio. The hazard and vulnerability maps overlay showed three neighborhood units (rukun warga/ RW) with a high risk of fire, eight RWs with a moderate risk of residential fires, and nine RWs with a low risk of residential fires. The areas with low-risk categories must remain vigilant because the width of the roads in these areas is relatively narrow.

WORK ETHIC AND PRODUCTIVE BEHAVIOR OF FOOTWEAR CRAFTSMEN IN BOGOR DISTRICT

Footwear product is one of the superior products of Bogor Regency, which is distributed in 3 Subdistricts namely Ciomas Subdistrict, Tamansari Subdistrict, and Dramaga Subdistrict, and this sector has the potential to absorb labor, so as to reduce unemployment and affect the community economy. This needs special attention from the central government and regional governments to improve the footwear craftsman business. Factors that encourage increased productive behavior include the Work Ethic. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Work Ethic on Productive Behavior in Footwear Craftsmen in Bogor Regency. The sample of this study was 316 footwear craftsmen taken in 3 species. Quantitative research methods with data analysis techniques using LISREL SEM to test the hypothesis. The results showed that the Work Ethic affected the Productive Behavior of footwear craftsmen in Bogor Regency.

Study of Growth and Production of Tomato Cultivars In Response to Fruit Thinning at Tamansari, Tasikmalaya, West Java, Indonesia

Tomato is a horticultural crop that is widely cultivated in Indonesia because of its multipurpose uses. The prospect of marketing tomatoes is quite promising for local, national and export markets. The demand of tomato consumption has been increasing, but has not been supported by the availability of quality and quantity production. The area for tomato production has even been decreasing, especially in West Java, Indonesia. One of the causes of the low tomato production in Indonesia is due to the unavailability of superior varieties at the farm level, and very limited information on suitable farming technology. In addition, farmers have difficulty meeting supermarket and export standards because of the mismatch of the quality required by the market and the quality of the products. Efforts that can be made to improve the quality of tomato fruits includes the use superior varieties, and to apply better management of crop production. This study aims to determine the tomato variety which is suitable and high yielding to grow in Tamansari sub-district, Tasikmalaya, West Java, Indonesia, and to understand the effects of thinning fruit on tomato production. The study was carried out from August to November 2018 in Taman Sari, Tasikmalaya City, in a completely randomized design with tomato variety and fruit thinning as the treatments. The study used three tomato cultivars, “Betavila”, “Tymoti”, “Martha”. The levels of fruit thinning tested were 15%, 25%, and without fruit thinning as control. The results demonstrated that the choice of tomato variety and fruit thinning had very significant effects on the yield component of tomato. “Marta” is one of the suitable varieties suggested to be cultivated in the area in Tasikmalaya, and fruit thinning at 25% gave the highest fruit yield.

The Advocacy Coalition Framework Approach to Row House Policy in Tamansari, Bandung City

Conflicts between Governance actors are rife in the era of democracy as it is today. The purpose of this study is to analyze the problems of land conflicts faced by the community against the Bandung City Government which is in a joint coalition with PT Sartonia Agung. Those two parties had a dispute over land rights in RW 11 Tamansari to control the basis of rights for housing and the construction of Row House. The struggle of each party in the struggle for land in RW 11 Tamansari was carried out through an advocacy process with both formal and informal approaches. The Advocacy Coalition Framework in this study was used as a knife for analyzing the phenomena that occurred. The research methods used in this study were qualitative research by standing on the interpretative paradigm. The data were collected by conducting observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation relating to the outline of the research. The findings obtained from this study indicated that there was a formation of strong coalition domination by the government through aggressive and repressive behavior that raised a conflict of interest in the row house construction policy in Tamansari Subdistrict, Bandung City, which was rejected by the Coalition of the Tamansari community that was formed. The series of advocacy carried out by the Tamansari community coalition had not produced results in favor of the coalition that urged a change in the policy.

Nutrition Education and Psychosocial Stimulation Improves Child Development in Rural Early Childhood Education in Indonesia

Early childhood education (Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini - PAUD) in Indonesia is an educational effort intended to preschool-aged children through stimulation to support children’s growth and development. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of nutrition and psychosocial stimulation to the child development in rural PAUD. A quasi-experimental design consisted baseline and end-line data collections of control (baseline: n=68; end-line: n=61) and intervention (baseline: n=69; end-line: n=63) groups of children under five years and their mothers were investigated for 12 months following the nutrition education and psychosocial stimulation. In addition, the investigation also carried out to the teachers at PAUDs. The study was conducted at 6 PAUDs in Dramaga Sub-district (control) and 4 PAUDs in Tamansari Sub-district (intervention) in the City of Bogor, West Java, Indonesia. The outcomes included characteristics of study participants, mothers’ nutritional knowledge-attitude-practice, mothers’ and teachers’ psychosocial stimulation knowledge and practice, children’s nutritional status and development. Nutrition education increase mothers’ nutritional knowledge score of 4.7 points (p The intervention improves mothers’ nutritional knowledge and practice, mothers’ and teacher’s psychosocial knowledge and practice, and child development. The intervention can be successfully implemented by mothers and teachers in rural PAUD.

Narrow housing conditions, especially for poor people, do not allow residents to plant crops. Causing the lack of consumption of vegetables; which causes residents become easily sick. In addition, there is also a lot of plastic waste, especially bottled drinking water and other things that come from tourists and fishermen who have not been processed. This condition gave rise to the idea to provide life skills training in making vertical gardens, hydroponic plants and waste management. Besides the need for makeup and haircutting skills also needed especially for orphans fostered by Yasayan Usawatun Hasanah. Community Service Activities (PkM) aims to foster community awareness of the cleanliness of the environment and empower citizens to be more creative and entrepreneurial. Therefore, in addition to the types of activities requested by the residents, UPBJJ-UT Bogor will also teach about identifying the economic value of the work done in the form of determining the cost of goods sold / production. This activity was attended by 50 orphans and it ran smoothly and successfully. Now orphans already have life skills that hope can lift their economy.

Agricultural Innovation Action Strategy Based on Community Development

The development of agriculture innovation tends to be oriented towards the increasing of the farm productivity rather than the equitable distribution living standard for farmer. Thus, the innovations have not only caused the social inequality in villages, but also the inequality of the relationship between rural and urban area. This study emphasizes two objectives, namely to conduct a critical evaluation of an organization that has created many agricultural innovations and to formulates new strategies from the organization to reduce social inequality. The data were gathered using some approaches: literatures study, structured quetionaires interviews, field survey, observation, and focus group discussion. The data collecting was started by reviewing literatures data and continued by interviews to 60 respondents using structured evaluation quetionnaires. The respondents were selected by accident sampling technic. Field survey conducted in the head office of organization, Yayasan Mutiara Keraton Solo (YMKS), Sukamantri Village (Tamansari Sub-District, Bogor Regency) and Sambirejo Village (Plupuh Sub-District, Sragen Regency) started from March to June 2018. In depth interviews were orginised in focus group discussion to 16 informans. The focus group discussion was conducted to construct the strategies of the organizational action in the future. The result of the study indicate that the performance of YMKS, established in 1994, is in a good criteria. However, the YMKS has a business vulnerability that is not continuous if the organization does not find a new strategy to maintan its existence. The organization has come characteristics such as innovative agricultural institution with involving society, social business organization for increasing farm productivity, and institution for citizen development. This study concludes that there are 5 (five) strategies and 4 (four) action programs that should be developed by the YMKS containing basic social values related to the importance of the increasing quantity and quality of human resources carried out together to create the farmer regeneration as youth agricultural innovators. In addition, the strategy and action also include the development of ideas so that actions are carried out on the basis of strengthening for the collaborative network in the “Working Together” shceme to establish Business-Community as a driving factor for community development acitivities. The thesis, however, highlight that this action is a new way of agricultural innovation encouring efforts to overcome social inequality.

PENERAPAN ACTIVITY BASED COSTING SYSTEM DALAM EVALUASI PENETUAN TARIF RAWAT INAP PADA RUMAH SAKIT GMC TAMAN SARI

The purpose of this study is to add knowledge about the determination of the rates of inpatient services hospitalization with the use of activity based costing, can be used as a reference in setting the service rates of hospitalization in Hospital GMC Taman Sari and as a means of comparison with hospitalization rates that are set for this, as well as being one of the inputs that provide information about activity based costing in its application in a hospital which orientation is the primary community service. This study was conducted on Hospital GMC Taman Sari which is located in the street of Ahmad Yani No. 36 of 20 Km of the Village Taman Sari sub-District Gedongtataan Pesawaran District Lampung Province. The method of analysis used is descriptive method of comparative yaiutu analysis of the tariff of the hospital now, setting method based on activity based costing, then compare the hospitalization rates hospitals based on activity based costing with its realization. The results of the study showed that of perthitungan hospitalization rates using activity based costing, when compared to the rates used by the hospital, then the activity based costing gives a smaller yield. This is due to the overhead of loading on each product. In activity based costing, overhead cost on each product charged on many cost drivers. So in activity based costing, has been able to allocate activity costs to each of the rooms appropriately based on the consumption of each activity .

Ecobrik Education as a Community-Based Waste Management Management Solution [Edukasi Ecobrik Sebagai Solusi Manajemen Pengelolaan Sampah Berbasis Masyarakat

The environment can be interpreted as everything existing around humans and affecting the development of their life. A clean environment is expected by everyone but it becomes a monolithic challenge to actualize. However, people’s bustle and other reasons may emerge as the primary factors of ignoring their surroundings, notably the home environment. Ciangir final landfill located in Tamansari village, Tamansari subdistrict, Tasikmalaya town is the sole final landfill for the entire people in Tasikmalaya town. For this reason, this program aimed at educating people through Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach to managing garbage. In particular, it prioritizes the utilization of assets and potentials owned by the community in their surroundings. Since people are a valuable asset for a village, optimizing human resources (e.g. family welfare program women community) through skills mentoring and training about Ecobrick remains pivotal.

Environmental Factors, Knowledge, and Hygiene Behaviour among Mothers: A Slum Area in Bandung City, West Java, Indonesia

Background : The increased number of population living in urban areas causes the increase of requirement of basic life needs as well as the increase of household and human excreta waste. If these wastes were not well managed, this situation would contaminate the environment. This study aimed to analyze the relatioship between environmental factors, knowledge and hygiene behavior among mothers who lives in Bandung slum area. Methods : An analytic cross sectional study was carried out on 132 mothers who lived in Tamansari subdistrict in Bandung city (RW 06, 07, 15, and 16) from May to October 2014. The primary data were collected using 2 sets of questionnaire and an observation checklist. The environmental factors and knowledge variables were catagorized into good and poor, while hygiene behavior was catagorized into good, moderate, and poor. The collected data were statistically analyzed using Chi-Square test. Results : More than half of the participants had good environmental factors (60.6%), 59 participants (44.6%) had good knowledge about hygiene and 83 participants (62.9%) had good hygiene behavior, 43 participants (32.6%) had a moderate hygiene behavior, and 6 participants (4.5%) bad hygiene behavior. Environmental factors was related to hygiene behavior (p=0.002). However, knowledge was not related to hygiene behavior (p=0.539). Conclusions : Environment is a significant factor to hygiene behavior

The results revealed that Tamansari Sub-district is an area that has the potential of natural resources, human resources, demand and marketing to develop business nutmeg. Price of dried seed was determined as Rp110 000per kg and dried mace as Rp130 000 per kg. The target market is the export market. CV is chosen as the business form. NPV is Rp827 682 000, Net B/C3.83, IRR 67 per cent and payback period 1.92(1 year 9 months). BEP value is Rp108 248 600 in the first year and Rp372 745 700 in the next years. Business planning is feasible based on financial and non-financial analyses.
