Tallaqi Learning Model at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Tahfidz Quran

The Quran memorization program in formal educational institutions such as schools and madrasas is something new that is very unique and attracts the attention of the public. This is due to the general school label, which focuses on pure science fields, even though there are religious lessons in it, maybe only two to four hours a week. This study aims to describe the Tallaqi learning model at the Al Barokah Purwantoro Qur'an memorization Madrasah. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach where data and research involve the principal, vice principal for curriculum, person in charge of the Quran memorization program, Quran memorization teachers and students, which are collected through observation and interviews, the collected data are analyzed using thematic analysis. The results of the study showed that the Tallaqi learning model at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Tahfidzul Quran Al Barokah was used in the learning process with teacher arrangements, student arrangements, time and place of study arrangements and the design of Quran memorization learning using the Tallaqi method

Typology and Effectiveness of Al-Quran Memorization Applications

This research aims to determine the typology of Al-Quran memorization application models and their effectiveness in learning Al-Quran tahfidz. The research method used in this research is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). SLR is a method used to comprehensively investigate relevant literature to understand the status of existing research on a particular topic. The data sources used come from Scopus and Semantic Scholar from 2019-2024 using the Publish and Perish (PoP) application. The results of this research found that there are 3 tahfidzul Quran application models: Voice Technology-Based Model, Gamification-Based Model and Modular-Based Model. Regarding effectiveness, it was found that the Voice Technology Based Model was still less effective. Meanwhile, the Gamification-Based Model has been proven to be effective in supporting learning. As for the Modular Based Model, there are those that have been proven to be effective in supporting memorizing learning of the Koran and there are also those that have not been proven because they are still in the needs exploration study stage. Further studies are needed regarding the challenges and obstacles as well as strategies for their use so that the development of the Tahfidz Al-Quran application model can be more effective in supporting the Al-Quran learning process.

Integrating Technology in Tahfidzul Qur'an School Development Programs

Islamic educational institutions face the challenge of integrating information technology into their programs to enhance their long-term sustainability and effectiveness. However, there is limited research on how tahfidzul Qur'an programs can incorporate technological advances for improved school development. This study addresses this gap by exploring the development of an information technology-based tahfidzul Qur'an school program at Al Azhar International Islamic Boarding School. Utilizing an exploratory descriptive qualitative method, the research gathers insights from the school's founder to identify key strategies. The results indicate that careful planning, monitoring, and evaluation are essential for achieving long-term educational goals. Human resource development, seen as a valuable institutional asset, must be prioritized through regular training. Additionally, optimizing information media is crucial to increase the institution's visibility and attract prospective students. The novelty of this study lies in its focus on integrating technology into religious education management. The implications suggest that effective use of technology in tahfidzul Qur'an school programs can align graduate outcomes with the institution's vision and mission, setting a model for similar educational programs seeking sustainable development. Highlights: Strategic long-term planning is vital for program success. Human resource quality is crucial for institutional growth. Technology optimization attracts potential students and ensures program sustainability. Management of Tahfidz Quran Programs in Shaping Elementary Students' Character

The current study intends to analyze the management of the Tahfidz program in shaping students' character. The non-mulazamah program became the subject of the study. A qualitative approach using a case study method was employed in this study. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were generated from the analysis process, comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the management of the Tahfidz program was successful in shaping students’ characters based on four indicators. First, in the planning stage, the madrasah conducted a need analysis and prepared stakeholders to ensure proficiency in reading the Qur'an, creating an ideal learning environment. Second, in organizing the Tahfidz program, the madrasah had a clear purpose, well-defined job responsibilities, and adequate facilities to support the program. Third, the Madrasah leaders implemented a situational leadership style during the program's execution. Finally, in the control phase, the management team ensured that the program produced quality outcomes, with many students surpassing the expected targets. The study indicates that the Tahfidz program nurtures students’ characteristics such as discipline, responsibility, independence, and compliance.

Learning Media to Improve Numeracy Skills and Motivation of Students

Numeracy ability is a basic ability that students must have to face the progress of the times. This ability guides students to analyze and solve mathematical problems and problems in everyday life. Even though it is very important, the numeracy skills of students in Indonesia are still very low. Therefore, efforts need to be made to improve and adjust strategies in the learning process so that students' numeracy abilities can increase. One effort is to use learning media. This research aims to find out what learning media are used by teachers to improve the numeracy skills of elementary school students, especially at the Tahfidzul Quran An-Nahl Mataram Integrated Islamic Elementary School. This research method is through teacher interviews and learning observations for 5 months in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. There are several media used by teachers in the process of improving numeracy skills at the Tahfidzul Quran An-Nahl Mataram Integrated Islamic Elementary School, including the addition and subtraction board, an introduction to measuring instruments board, rupiah specimen currency media, and a long unit ladder prop. All media used by teachers can increase student activity and involvement, learning outcomes, and student learning motivation.

Management Analysis of Tied Infaq and Sadaqah on the Tahfidz Quran Scholarship Program (Study of Yakesma Branch in Riau Islands)

The challenges faced in the management of Islamic philanthropic institutions include the potential for large infaq and sadaqah and the importance of infaq and sadaqah for the purpose of community empowerment, the dominance of the distribution of funds that are still consumptive so that they still do not empower the community, and the lack of accountability reporting to donors which can reduce their level of trust in Islamic philanthropic institutions. This research is important to gain an in-depth understanding of the effective management of tied infaq and alms through the Tahfidz Quran scholarship program, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the management of tied infaq and alms funds, and provide recommendations for improving accountability and developing tied infaq and alms-based programs. This qualitative research with a case study approach analyzes the management of tied infaq and sadaqah in the Tahfidz Quran scholarship program run at the national amil zakat institution, YAKESMA Riau Islands Branch. Research data were obtained through interviews, field observations, and documentation studies related to the management carried out. The data was then analyzed descriptively by triangulating to ensure data validity and credibility. The theoretical framework of management, the concept of infaq and sadaqah, and SWOT analysis were used to interpret the factual findings comprehensively. The results show that efforts to overcome existing problems are expected to increase the effectiveness and accountability of the management of tied infaq and sadaqah funds and the management of Islamic philanthropic institutions in supporting programs with various other empowerment goals in the future

ANALISIS PENERAPAN METODE YANBU’A DALAM PROGRAM TAHFIDZHUL QUR’AN DI SDUT BUMI KARTINI

The Yanbu'a method is a method/thoriqoh (book) that teaches reading and writing and memorizing the Koran quickly, easily and precisely for children and adults. This type of research is qualitative research with the aim of describing in detail the process of implementing the yanbu'a method in the tahfidzul qur'an program at SDUT Bumi Kartini. Data collected through observation, interviews, surveys and documentation methods. The results of this research show 1. The use of the Yanbu'a method in the tahfidzhul Qur'an program at UT Bumi Kartini Elementary School. 2. Supporting and inhibiting factors in the tahfidzul Qur'an program at UT Bumi Kartini Elementary School, 3. What are the solutions to the obstacles to the Yanbu method? 'a at SDUT Bumi Kartini 4. What is the impact of implementing the Yanbu'a method on students at SDUT Bumi Kartini. In reality, the Tahfidzhul Qur'an program has a good influence on students, including students becoming a source of pride for their parents and children being more responsible with the task of adding and memorizing muroja'ah. Educational Innovation at Assuniyyah Al Jauhari Kencong Jember Islamic Boarding School

The main aim of this research is to highlight two things related to educational innovation at the Assunniyyah Aljauhari Kencong Islamic Boarding School. The type of research is qualitative phenomenological using a phenomenological approach. Interview techniques with key informants were used as a data collection procedure. The findings of this research show that the innovations carried out at the Islamic boarding school include establishing a formal school, forming a special dormitory for tahfidzul Qur'an, and creating a special yellow book education. Supporting and inhibiting factors were found in the innovation process carried out. It was concluded that this was the basis for implementing educational innovation in the Islamic boarding school.

Pelaksanaan Program Tahfidz Al-Qur’an di MAN 2 Palembang

The aim of this research is to understand the implementation of the tahfidz program at MAN 2 Palembang and to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors during the implementation of the Qur’an memorization program at MAN 2 Palembang. This research employs a qualitative research method, and the informants include the head of the madrasa, the head of the Darul Ulum tahfidz house, tahfidz supervisors, and students. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques employed are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The validity of the data is tested using triangulation, which includes source triangulation, technique triangulation, and time triangulation. The results of the research indicate that the tahfidz Qur’an program at MAN 2 Palembang is carried out through direction, motivation, communication, and coordination in each process, starting with determining the program's objectives, defining success indicators, setting the implementation schedule, and appointing program coordinators. The supporting factors include adequate facilities and infrastructure, quality human resources, the presence of rewards and punishments, and the program's timing. The inhibiting factors include the students' own attitudes and their surrounding environment

Rancang Bangun Sistem Penerimaan Santri Baru Berbasis Website Di Pondok Pesantren Al-Hadi Gresik

This research was conducted to design and develop a website-based New Student Admission Information System at Islamic Boarding School Tahfidzul Qur'an Al-Hadi Gresik. This research uses the waterfall method, which includes sequential analysis to implementation stages. The final results showed that this new information system can improve efficiency and accuracy in the process of admitting new students and support the operations of the pesantren. The system provides various benefits, including increased enrollment efficiency, reduced administrative errors, and more structured management of santri data. It is recommended to conduct further development and training for administrative staff to ensure optimal use of the system. Thus, it is expected that the New Student Admission Information System at Islamic Boarding School Tahfidzul Qur'an Al-Hadi Gresik can operate optimally.

Enhancing Parent-Teacher Collaboration in Tahfidzul Qur'an Learning: Roles, Challenges, and Strategies

The memorization of the Quran, holds significant importance in Islamic education, fostering spiritual, cognitive, and moral development. This research aims to identify the profile of early-age children Qur'an memorizers, discover the learning methods used for young children, and examine the roles of family and teachers in supporting young children in memorizing the Qur'an. Early-age children lack strategies in the memorization process; therefore, the responsibility of parents and teachers is to accompany them in devising strategies for memorizing the Qur'an. The method used was a qualitative research method with a field research type. The research findings conclude that: 1) Qur'an memorizers among early-age children come from diverse family backgrounds in terms of economic, social, and educational status. However, these differences do not affect the enthusiasm and diligence of early-age children in participating in Qur'an memorization. 2) The method used in teaching early-age Qur'an memorization is the ‘talaqy’ method, involving direct teaching between teachers and students with three processes: ‘talqin’ (the teacher dictates the Qur'an verses in front of the child), ‘tasmi’ (the child imitates the teacher's recitation), and ‘murajaa’h’ (the child repeats the memorization in front of the teacher). 3) The role of the family includes motivation, guidance, setting an example, and discipline. The role of the teacher encompasses being a facilitator, guide, evaluator, and manager. Recommendations are provided for fostering holistic Tahfidzul Quran education, promoting synergy between home and school environments, and empowering stakeholders in cultivating Quranic literacy among the younger generation.

KESIAPAN GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM DALAM TAHAP IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM MERDEKA BELAJAR SEKOLAH DASAR ISLAM TERPADU TAHFIDZUL QURAN

This research explains the readiness of Islamic Religious Education teachers in each stage of the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum at Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SD IT) Tahfidzul Qur'an in Majene Regency. The purpose of this study is to understand the categories of each stage, namely the initial stage, the developing stage, the ready stage, and the advanced stage of Islamic Religious Education teacher readiness. The type of research used is qualitative to study and understand social phenomena, individual or group behavior, and natural conditions. The data in this study were obtained through data collection through three techniques, namely interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the readiness of Islamic Religious Education teachers at the implementation stage of the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum at SD IT Tahfidzul Qur'an was divided into four stages, namely the initial stage, namely the teacher using an example prepared by the government. At the developing stage, the teacher adjusts to the examples provided by the government. At the ready stage, the teacher makes changes to the examples provided by the government. At the advanced stage, teachers develop by adjusting the needs of schools and students.

Caring for Traditions Through the Madrasah Hidden Curriculum: An Offer from the Pekalongan City NU Community

This research is a qualitative study aimed at analyzing the implementation of the hidden curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah NU Buaran Pekalongan and identifying the obstacles encountered. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation review. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive analysis model developed by Miles and Huberman. The results of the study indicate that three curricula are applied at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah NU Buaran Pekalongan, namely: 1) the national curriculum, 2) the Ministry of Religious Affairs curriculum, and 3) the pesantren curriculum. The pesantren curriculum, which is a hidden curriculum, is implemented in the takhassus classes at this madrasah. Takhassus classes offer learning programs that include Qur'an memorization (tahfidzul Qur'an), enjoyable language learning (language fun), basic study of classical Islamic texts (kitab kuning), TPQ (Qur'an learning for children), and outing class activities. Obstacles in Qur'an memorization, enjoyable language learning, basic study of classical Islamic texts, TPQ, and outing class activities are addressed with temporary (short-term) and permanent (long-term) solutions. Short-term solutions are applied to Qur'an memorization, basic study of classical Islamic texts, and outing class activities, while long-term solutions are applied to enjoyable language learning and TPQ. These solutions aim to preserve the traditions at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah NU Buaran Pekalongan through a hidden curriculum that continues to be maintained.

Tahfidz Quran Online Assessment: Video Conference Based Talaqqi Assessment Model

Pendidikan tahfidz Al-Qur’an merupakan salah satu bidang yang memerlukan penilaian yang cermat dan terstruktur untuk memastikan efektivitas pembelajaran dan kemajuan siswa dalam menghafal Al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan mengevaluasi efektivitas integrasi antara asesmen talaqi (keterampilan tartil dan tajwid) dengan teknologi konferensi video dalam konteks pendidikan tahfidz Al-Qur’an. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari siswa tahfidz AlQur’an yang aktif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi asesmen talaqi dengan teknologi video conference memiliki dampak positif pada pembelajaran tahfidz Al-Qur’an. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan dalam keterampilan tartil dan tajwid serta kepercayaan diri mereka dalam membaca Al-Qur’an. Penggunaan teknologi video conference memfasilitasi interaksi langsung antara siswa dan pengajar, meningkatkan kualitas umpan balik, dan memungkinkan pembelajaran jarak jauh yang efektif. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan pendidikan tahfidz Al-Qur’an dan memperluas pemahaman tentang penerapan teknologi dalam konteks pendidikan agama.

Assertive Ability Based on Gender Differences Students of Tahfidz Quran Middle School Pontianak, West Kalimantan

Islamic-based secondary schools, with a boarding school education concept, aim to train children to deepen their knowledge of religion. In reality, boarding schools are the trigger for widespread cases of bullying. Busy activities at school and continued rote activities in the dormitory create boredom and pressure for students. This becomes a stimulus for emotional explosions for students and female students. This research aims to describe the findings of the assertive level abilities of santriwan and santriwati based on gender differences, because life in the dormitory is led by ustad and ustadzah with different characters. Apart from that, it describes an understanding of the form of an assertive attitude and reflects the feelings of santri and female students in being assertive. The mix method research method includes qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative descriptive data analysis activities include collecting data in in-depth interviews, observation and assertive scales, reflecting on experiences and at the same time training students. The research subjects were 80 people consisting of 2 classes, namely class VII and VIII with a gender division of 37 santri and 43 santriwati. The researcher carried out data triangulation, both time, place and data until the data was saturated to process the interview data. Research findings show that students are more able to be assertive by avoiding situations they don't like, refusing with the word "don't want to", because they are afraid of the rules and being angry with the ustad. female students have a weak assertive ability to refuse, because they are embarrassed and feel loyal to their friendship group, but some of the female students are very firm in refusing and reporting threatening and unpleasant situations to the ustadzah. In conclusion, a form of assertive training is needed for self-strength and self-confidence for students and female students to avoid bullying.

STRATEGI GURU MENGATASI KESULITAN PESERTA DIDIK DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TAHFIDZUL QUR’AN JUZ 30 DI SEKOLAH DASAR ISLAM TERPADU (SDIT) PERSIS KOTA PALU

The implementation of Tahfidzul Qur'an learning at SDIT Persis, Palu City lasted for two hours face to face using two systems, namely Muraja'ah and adding new memorization (ziyadah). 2) In learning Tahfidzul Qur'an juz 30 at SDIT Persis there are difficulties for students in the learning process including reading the Al-Qur'an, difficulty distinguishing similar verses, lack of doing muraja'ah, time factors, the influence of cellphones, and level of ability different students. 3) strategies applied by teachers to overcome difficulties in learning Tahfidzul Qur'an, namely interspersing learning the science of Tajweed in each Tahfidz lesson, emphasizing the differences in the next verse, optimizing muraja'ah activities before depositing additional memorization, teaching how to manage time, prohibiting bringing cellphones to school and give support.

Competencies and strategies of Al-Qur'an Hadith teachers in developing student potential through LPTQ extracurricular

This study aims to analyze the process of fostering student potential through LPTQ extracurricular activities. The focus of the study in this research on three things, namely the process of fostering student potential through LPTQ extracurricular activities, the competence of the Al-Qur'an Hadith teacher in fostering student potential through LPTQ extracurricular activities and management strategies. The research method used is qualitative based on case studies with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data collected was then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings explain that there are several forms of student coaching processes through LPTQ extracurricular activities, namely the tahfidz Qur'an program, syarhil Qur'an, fahmil Qur'an, tilawatil Qur'an, and khat Al-Qur'an. The teacher competence in fostering this LPTQ extracurricular program is personality and pedagogical competence. For the management strategy, there are five strategies used, namely choosing the right time, learning methods, grouping students according to their talents, monitoring, and instilling Islamic values.

CIPP Program Evaluation: A Study of Tahfidz Qur’an Morning Program At MTS Tahfidzul Qur’an Azhar Center Makassar

The Tahfiz Qur’an Morning Program aims to improve students' ability to memorize the Qur'an with proper fasahah and tajweed, root the values of the Qur'an, and present the Qur'an in every aspect of life. This type of research is a CIPP model program evaluation with a qualitative case study approach. The results of this study: (1) In terms of context evaluation, the Tahfiz Qur'an Morning program at MTs Tahfidzul Quran Azhar Center Makassar has enabled students to increase their memorization beyond the 3 juz required by the school. (2) From the perspective of input evaluation, the coaches in the Tahfiz Qur'an Morning program have met the criteria as coaches of the Tahfiz Qur'an Morning program. The facilities and infrastructure that support the program are good enough. (3) Process evaluation shows that the implementation of the morning Quran memorization program at MTs Tahfidzul Quran Azhar Center Makassar uses the talqin method. This method involves repetition of reading the verses to be memorized by children until they master them. However, some obstacles were encountered, especially the lack of ability of students to memorize the verses of the Qur'an, which has an impact on this process. (4) Judging from the product evaluation, the implementation of the morning Quran memorization program has a positive impact on students, teachers, and the community as a whole.

Construction of the Tahfidzul Quran Islamic Boarding School Curriculum through Social Reproduction

This research discusses the construction of the Tahfidzul Quran Islamic Boarding School curriculum through social reproduction. The research methodology used in this study is qualitative descriptive research. By using the concept of Habitus as a structure of social reproduction, this study concludes that the curriculum at Ubay Bin Ka'ab Islamic Boarding School is constructed by reproducing ideologies, theological and moral beliefs, lifestyles adopted by lodge caregivers in particular and Tablighi congregational institutions in general. Although the curriculum focuses on memorizing the Quran, this pesantren teaches its students various religious knowledge and practices they need to participate in society as preachers. In addition, the curriculum also adjusts national education policies.
