Dynamic Soil-Bridge interaction (DSBI) is an important seismic design for bridges. The behavior of pier under earthquake loading is an important factor affecting the performance of such structures. Two series of laboratory tests were conducted to measure the response of structure when subjected to dynamic loads the first test the model was made of Aluminium and the second just the piles were made with Steel. A small shaking table was manufactured. The measurements taken in these experiments are horizontal displacement and strain of superstructure, acceleration in three dimensions in soil, pile, cap and superstructure. The soil used is sand and the model pile group (5x4) used has a diameter of 1 cm. It was concluded that the acceleration amplitudes increase with frequency for both model Aluminium and steel and the reaction of superstructure on aluminium piles is more than the steel ones.
