USING THE GEOGEBRA ENVIRONMENT IN THE MATHEMATICAL TRAININGOF ECONOMIC STUDENTS

The use of information technology in the learning process has of learning in institutions of higher education already become commonplace, but new tools that constantly help teachers and students. In order for education to really meet the demand of modern realities, it is necessary to continuously modernize the forms and methods of education. One such most relevant assistant in teaching mathematics is the Dynamic Mathematics System GeoGebra. The article deals with the issue of modernization of methodological systems for teaching mathematical disciplines studied by students of economic specialties. in IT areas. The possibilities of the GeoGebra tool are revealed, which are important for improving the quality of mathematical training of future economists in the context of the implementation of the didactic principle of visibility and the inclusion of students in research and project activities. Particular attention is paid to the practical aspects of using GeoGebra in solving plot, applied problems associated with the use of active techniques and methods of teaching mathematical disciplines, the growth of students’ creative and intellectual activity when working with topics that require visualization of mathematical concepts and objects. The conditions of methodologically expedient inclusion of Geogebra into the practice of teaching mathematical disciplines for the preparation of economists and the modernization of already existing methodological systems for teaching mathematical disciplines are highlighted. It has been proven that the use of the interactive geometric environment GeoGebra allows visualization of abstract mathematical concepts, which contributes to the fastest possible perception of the material, a deeper understanding of it and increases interest in the discipline being studied. In addition, the use of dynamic mathematics systems both in the classroom and in non-classroom work has a positive effect on the success of students. Completing mathematical tasks using the GeoGebra environment arouses students' cognitive interest in exact sciences and promotes the development of visual and creative thinking. GeoGebra should be considered a special visual environment not only for solving specific problems related to mathematics and mathematical modeling, but also an environment for the implementation of interdisciplinary projects of an integration nature.

The article examines the current challenges and opportunities in the formation of academic integrity among students majoring in 073 Management and 075 Marketing. Focusing on the current situation, the author analyzes important concepts such as research ethics, plagiarism, and other forms of scientific dishonesty that can affect the formation of integrity among students. The factors that influence the formation of academic integrity, such as ethical standards, moral values, and educational practices that promote the development of intellectual honesty among students majoring in 073 Management and 075 Marketing, are considered. The article analyzes current trends in academia, including the rise of plagiarism and other forms of dishonesty. The problem of plagiarism is especially important in the economic field because of the spread of ideas, so economic data and research can have a direct impact on decision-making in society. The article examines various methods and strategies that can be used to improve the level of academic integrity among students of economic specialties. The author emphasizes the importance of fostering responsibility and integration in educational programs, as well as the use of modern technologies to detect and prevent academic misconduct. The article also discusses the prospects for further research in this area and points to the need to develop effective strategies and programs to raise students’ awareness of the ethical aspects of academic work. The study highlights the importance of cooperation between universities, teaching staff and student groups to create a favorable environment for the development of academic integrity. The author of the article puts forward a number of recommendations for practical application aimed at improving the efficiency of the educational process and raising the level of professional morality among future economists. He emphasizes the importance of a systematic approach to this problem and the need to constantly monitor and update strategies in line with changes in society and technology. In conclusion, the article offers an in-depth analysis of the current realities and prospects for the formation of academic integrity among students in 073 Management and 075 Marketing and also points to ways to further develop research and practical measures in this area.

О проблемах математической подготовки будущих экономистов

This article is written on the basis of the analysis of scientific and methodological literature over the past two years and the personal experience of the authors of conducting mathematical disciplines with cadets and full-time students using distance learning technologies. The purpose of this article was to substantiate the relevance and significance of using a set of individual homework assignments containing applied tasks of an economic orientation for generalizing the material and acquiring the skill of synthetic activity. The study was conducted for four semesters in the classroom in the disciplines of the mathematical cycle with students of economic specialties. As a result of the work carried out, the authors were able to identify and analyze the most typical problems associated with the mathematical training of future economists. One of the ways to solve them is to use workbooks with tasks of economic content, the peculiarity of which lies in the structure of construction: around the central core (which is chosen as one of the basic economic concepts), several tasks are formed that reinforce various topics of the discipline being studied.

Formation of digital competencies among students of economic specialties

The rapid advancement of digital technology is altering the skillsets required of specialists. In today’s world, a competitive analyst working in the field of economics must possess not only professional skills, but also digital competence, which encompasses not only digital skills, but also a body of knowledge and perspectives on the nature and role of information technologies and opportunities, as well as relevant legal and ethical principles. The article examines modern theoretical foundations and approaches to the development of digital literacy in lifelong learning processes: specifically, one of the tools for determining the level of formation of digital competence using the Tsifrogram test (which is based on the conceptual model of digital competence of citizens DigComp - The Digital Competence Framework for Citizens) is described and analyzed in depth. The study was conducted using competence-based, personality-activity, and communication techniques. The economic analyst training program featured active and interactive teaching methods and practices. The findings of a study on the level of digital competence formation among university students of economic specializations are provided. The most important suggestions for improving students’ digital competence are studied, selected, and highlighted. It is proposed to build a roadmap for boosting students’ digital competency during their university studies in the future.

ПРОФЕСІЙНА ОСВІТА: ВИКЛАДАННЯ АНГЛІЙСЬКОЇ СТУДЕНТАМ ЕКОНОМІЧНИХ СПЕЦІАЛЬНОСТЕЙ

The article analyzes modern methods of teaching a foreign language for economic specialties, shows the feasibility of using these methods in higher education. The process of teaching English in non-linguistic higher education institutions has certain features that are related to the different initial level of language training of freshmen; the number of hours to study the subject; number of groups; low enthusiasm for learning a foreign language. We emphasize that motivation plays an important role in the educational process, and its formation should be one of the main tasks of the educational process of students of economic specialties. Motivation determines the productivity of educational activities and is an integral part of it. Practice has shown that high-quality training of foreign languages for economic specialties can be carried out through the introduction of modern educational technologies, such as: training, project methodology, technology of consolidation and distance learning, information and communication technologies, training and control work. It is determined that if the content of the subject «foreign language» is focused on the specialty of the free economic zone, the effectiveness of the curriculum can be significantly increased. The study found that the use of interactive learning technology involves seeking help in communication, including cognitive communication and constructivist methods of learning a foreign language. The evidence has shown that the use of innovative English teaching methods and multimedia teaching methods can increase students’ motivation to learn foreign languages, provide access to new alternative sources of information, develop independent psychological activities, develop communication skills, intercultural and professional skills. The formation of technical motivation of students of higher educational institutions of economic specialties is one of the main tasks of the educational process, and students should become active participants, not passive objects. The use of multimedia teaching aids to implement innovative methods of teaching English allows to increase students’ motivation to learn foreign languages, obtain new alternative sources of information, develop independent psychological activities, improve creative self-realization, cultivate communication skills, intercultural and professional skills. Therefore, these technologies help to qualitatively diversify courses, enrich them with information and diversify teaching, significantly increase the effectiveness of the professional content of “foreign” subjects in higher education in economic specialties. Methods of teaching foreign languages are constantly updated, so the demand for their study is growing. Since one of the most effective methods is communication, we see the prospect of further studies in its research.

FORMATION OF TERMINOLOGICAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS OF ECONOMIC PROFILE

The article reveals the essence of the following concepts: “competence”, “professional competence”, “professional terminological competence”, “terminological competence of future economic specialists”. The peculiarities of the formation of terminological competence, as a mandatory component of professional training of students of economic education, are highlighted by the author. In particular, the author considers the system of general and professional knowledge as an important component of a competitive specialist, and the level of his professional speech involves mastery of terminological vocabulary. The problem of the formation of professional terminological competence of future specialists in scientific works of domestic and foreign scientists is analysed. The current state of formation of the studied competence in students of economic specialities in higher education institutions is traced in the article. The results of the theoretical study allowed us to formulate the definition of “terminological competence of future specialists in economics”: the ability to accurately, clearly and appropriately use economic terms in the process of professional activity, clearly operate professional terminology, be able to use business management tools, have professional ways to exchange information, use basic methods of information exchange principles of business communication. The author outlines the peculiarities of forming the foundations of terminological competence of future economic specialists. It is determined that knowledge and mastery of specific terminology will ensure success in situations of professional communication, and a low level of mastery of professional speech makes it impossible to adequately understand, objectively assess and thoroughly master students’ knowledge of professional disciplines. Possible ways of increasing the efficiency of terminological vocabulary formation of future specialists are identified. It is proved that the economic terminology system, as well as the terminology of another field of knowledge, is structured using a number of paradigms, such as synonymous, antonymous, paronymic, homonymous. It is concluded that the given exceptional role of terminology in professional activities is important in order to find new methods and organizational forms of training for economic education.

FORMAL ASSESSMENT IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSE FOR STUDENTS OF ECONOMIC SPECIALTIES

The article reveals different ways of evaluation the efficiency of teaching professional English lexis to the students of economic specialties in institutions of tertiary education in Ukraine. The author analyzes the main types of students’ professional translation skills estimation from the contextual, structural, methodological and situational perspectives.

Forming extended linguistic competence among students of economic specialties at Moscow aviation institute

The article analyses various interpretations of the concept "linguistic competence" and formulates the authors' attitude to this issue. The paper substantiates the need for forming the extended linguistic competence among the students of economic profile at an aviation university. The authors describe the history of creation and development of the concept of teaching two foreign languages in the specialty "Organization and planning of foreign economic activity" (2008), "Organization of foreign economic activity / international business" (2009), "International management" (2012) at Moscow Aviation Institute, share their practical experience in teaching students in this area. The advantages and disadvantages of the educational-methodical complexes used both for teaching English and the second foreign language – French are revealed. The ways of improving the methodology of teaching students in this specialty are outlined in order to fulfill the main task – to train highly qualified specialists in the economic field, who will be in demand in the aviation industry in conditions of severe competition.

The role of vocational guidance in improving the quality of knowledge in mathematics

"The role of vocational guidance in teaching mathematics in the educational process of economic specialties students is presented. The importance and necessity of obtaining high-quality knowledge of the mathematical approach by students of economic specialties is demonstrated. Today’s students, and in near future: specialists in the field of economics should be able to meet the high standards of the modern labor market; they must be interested in obtaining a higher level of knowledge. The issue of improving the quality of mathematical knowledge is quite acute, and as one of the ways is to stimulate the study of mathematical disciplines, the authors consider the introduction of a professionally-oriented textbook into the educational process. The article provides the structure of this textbook, which contains all the necessary theoretical material, key concepts, and questions for self-assessment, a list of references and a large number of professionally oriented tasks. "

СТОХАСТИЧНІ ЗАДАЧІ І ПРИКЛАДНА СПРЯМОВАНІСТЬ У НАВЧАННІ МАТЕМАТИКИ

The article deals with some aspects of the study of the discipline “Probability theory and mathematical statistics” by the students of economic specialties through the solution of practical exercises. The main aim of learning the course is to form the skills to apply the knowledge gained to the tasks in economics. The concept of teaching probability theory and mathematical statistics is a process in which stochastic concepts and ideas serve as a mathematical apparatus for solving specific problems. Nowadays it is traditional to acquaint students with certain sections of applied mathematics, including probability theory and mathematical statistics, as purely abstract theories. However, as the best we consider another approach, according to which “a more adequate solution will be to acquaint the students with the methods of mathematical models construction”. In solving the problems of an applied nature, students get an idea of the necessity and universality of mathematics and its methods. The value of stochastic problems is determined predominantly not by the apparatus used in the process of their solution, but by the ability to demonstrate the process of usage of mathematics in solution of non-mathematical problems. It is shown how, with the help of applied tasks, to familiarize students with real examples of application of stochastic ideas and methods, as well as to make it possible to organize specific activities necessary in the process of application of mathematics. The student, researching a mathematical problem, formulates different questions and problems, then “transforms” them into the notions of mathematics, in order to solve them by mathematical methods, and then adapt the solution to the real problem, which was set at the beginning of the learning activity. This process is a process of constructing a mathematical (probabilistic) model of a real situation, which can be considered a mathematical activity in a broad sense. Among the traditional stochastic problems there are many typically mathematical (intramodel) tasks of such a kind, which were formulated by means of non-mathematical terms. It is necessary to note that the real problems of an applied nature are rare in mathematics because the stage of formalization (construction of a mathematical model of a non-mathematical situation) requires to have a deep knowledge and mathematical culture. This fact generated the problem of selection of tasks of applied nature that can be used in teaching. The paper presents a number of examples where students are shown how, with the help of some modification, a number of traditional problems of probability theory (formulated in the language of nonmathematical terms) can be developed into the tasks of applied nature. Expanding the range of such tasks during the study of mathematics would have a positive effect on students’ attitudes to this discipline and would increase their motivation to learn. Besides, the role of stochastic issues in mathematics and general education would become more multifaceted. For the university teachers of mathematics working with the students of economic specialties the most important thing is the formation of students’ mathematical skills to use the mathematical apparatus in their future professional activities.

Formation of foreign competence in future economists at classes of foreign language for specific purposes

Despite considerable scientific interest in professional training of specialists at higher educational establishments, formation of foreign language competence in students of economic specialities at classes of foreign language for specific purposes is not studied properly causing the relevance of this research. The purpose of the article is to define the features and conditions for the formation of professional competence in future economists at mastering foreign language for specific purposes. The object of research is the process of professional training of future economists. The subject of research is scientific and methodical principles of formation of foreign competence in future economists at classes of foreign language for specific purposes. The theoretical (analysis, generalization, systematization, comparison of different views on the problem, modelling) and empirical (observation) methods are used to achieve the purpose of the article. In the article, the international competence of future economists is defined as an integrative system-value and personal-professional quality based on special foreign knowledge and skills, valuable attitude towards future professional communicative activities in oral and written forms to a variety of general and professional (economic) topics. An important place in foreign-language training of future economists is the integration of methods in educational and professional activity (presentations, problematic training, business games, training exercises, case method). A significant role in mastering foreign language for specific purposes is for the interaction of forms in the educational process, which involves a traditional combination of professional and language training with innovative approaches to the organization of the educational process at higher educational establishments. The prospect for further research of foreign competence is the development of a model for the formation of foreign professional competence based on the use of blend learning at classes of foreign language for specific purposes.

Problems of implementation of compulsory health insurance in Ukraine

This article summarizes the arguments and counterarguments within the scientific discussion on health care financing by introducing compulsory health insurance in Ukraine and improving voluntary one. The study’s primary purpose is to theorize and determine the main directions and recommendations for implementing compulsory health insurance in Ukraine. Systematization of scientific background concerning the study problem showed that Ukrainian national and municipal health care institutions didn’t provide free medical care in the amount and quality guaranteed by the Constitution of Ukraine. Therefore, the relevance of solving this scientific issue is the necessity of comprehensive health care reforming (especially funding) considering compulsory health insurance. To achieve this goal, the study was conducted in the following logical sequence: analyzing models, historical experience, and a hybrid budget insurance system of health care financing; identifying the Ukrainian health insurance features during the pandemic in 2020; clarifying the problems of health insurance development in Ukraine and the world; analyzing and considering the theoretical base on solving health insurance issues; retrospective analysis of the three-level insurance model; developing the practical recommendations for improving the mechanisms of compulsory health insurance implementation. The methodological tools of the study were the methods of dialectical scientific knowledge, systematic approach, statistical and comparative analysis, a review of scientific background, regulatory framework, and insurance companies’ reports. The study involves data for 2002-2021. The object of the study is the health insurance system and state mechanisms for regulating compulsory and voluntary health insurance in Ukraine. The obtained results showed that the introduction of compulsory health insurance in Ukraine addressed the expanding availability of medical services to the general population and attracting additional resources in health care. The study empirically confirms and theoretically proves that the Ukrainian government should determine the main health services provided and the insurance premium amount, coordinate the interaction between insurance parties, resolve conflict situations, provide the legal basis for the system functioning, control financial flows and activity insurance fund. The study results can be helpful for insurance market professionals, financiers, and economists in the health care industry, researchers, and students of economic specialties.

Flexible and Contextual Cloud Applications in Mobile Learning

<p class="0abstract">The aim of the article is to study the modern mobile learning system, to understand its advantages and disadvantages, and to determine the relationship between the concepts of digital learning. The goal of the study is to conduct an experiment on the implementation of a flexible mobile application for studying the "macroeconomics" by students of economic specialties and to compare the results obtained with the selected control group. A total of 20 sophomores (10 each from two universities: Sechenov University, Department of Economics and Management; and Azerbaijan State Economic University, Department of Economic Theory) were offered to study the course in macroeconomics using a mobile application during the semester (from September to December 2019). Students were selected from two universities for the scientific objectivity and from the second year of the bachelor's degree, since "macroeconomics" is studied in the early courses, regardless of the further, specific economic direction of the student. Students did not attend lectures and practical classes with a teacher; all training was performed with the help of an application. A control group of the same specialty and year (also 20 people) was selected to confirm or contradict the effectiveness of such a mobile application. The control group students studied "macroeconomics" in the traditional way, namely attending lectures and practical classes with a teacher, during this semester. As a result of the experiment, the study group students liked training with the application. Meanwhile, 70% of the students would not like to have such training for all disciplines, permanently. But students supported studying using a special mobile app as a supplement to the main format of teaching. During the final examination, held by the traditional method (a written exam - answers to 4 open questions and 10 multiple choice questions), the following results were obtained. Students, who were using m-learning, on average, got higher results by 0.2 points, according to the overall assessment, a 5-grade scale, and separately according to the test results more by 2 correct answers than students with the traditional education. Thus, this can be explained since students using mobile app practiced material in a form of game or case, which helped them to immerse themselves more in the problem and to assimilate the material. The results were compared with the research of other scientists.</p>

Methodological basis of future economists’ personality professional value

The article reflects the results of the scientific search to determine the methodological basis for the formation of the professional value of the personality of future economists, which is due to the increased requirements for this group of specialists in the context of solving the problems of innovative development of the country, ensuring economically viable activities for the benefit of the state and all its citizens. The need for comprehensive use of the leading provisions of axiological, personality-oriented, competent and environmental methodological approaches is justified, which will create effective conditions for the formation of professional values of the personality of future economists. The implementation of the process for the formation of professional personality values among students of economic specialties is connected with the organisation of an axiologically filled educational environment at the university by the authors; that will allow using a wide range of opportunities for educational and non-educational work and increase the effectiveness of pedagogic influences on the formation of professional values among future economists. The article presents the author's definition of the educational environment as a condition for the formation of professional values of the personality of future economists.

USING ICT IN CLIL CLASSROOM AT THE TERTIARY LEVEL: ECONOMICS STUDENTS’ RESULTS

The article discusses issues related to the use of information and communication technologies in the learning process in the context of Content and Language Integrated Learning. The process of implementing information technology in education is quite complex and requires deep reflection. The article discusses the possibilities of using Internet resources as a means of learning within the CLIL. The authors conducted a study on the basis of the L. N. GumilyovEurasian National University, majors: "5B050900-Finance”," 5B050800-Accounting and audit”. The methodological basis of experimental work on the development of professional foreign language competence by students of economic specialties was the concept of practiceoriented professional training as well as to develop technology competency integrated into EFL environment

Teaching students of economic specialties to collaborate in ESP classes

The article deals with the methodology of teaching students majoring in economic specialties to collaborate as one of the four key skills of the 21st century (4C) while teaching “English for Specific Purposes”. The urge to develop the ability to work effectively in a team arises from the lack of correlation between the needs of the labour market and proficiency level of graduates. Educators and business communities emphasise the importance of mastering collaborative strategies during university studies since this raises graduates’ competitiveness; though teachers use collaboration techniques when teaching a foreign language. Collaborative learning is often used only as a means of teaching other content, not as a method of improving collaboration skills. The article analyses the Ukrainian university graduates’ proficiency level, identifies the basic prerequisites for teaching collaboration and considers the methods of developing collaboration skills in teaching a foreign language. The development of these skills is determined by the collaboration of teachers while planning curricula and in the teaching process. The results of the research conducted at Tavria State Agrotechnological University are presented. The recommendations on how to create the conditions for productive collaboration of students when solving problems are given; the basic requirements for these tasks are specified. Some examples of group work that contribute to enhancing collaborative skills to achieve a common goal are given; the role of the teacher as a facilitator and an observer who promotes students’ effective collaboration is determined. According to the results of the study, a significant increase in students’ knowledge and skills and their psychological readiness to collaborate in their future professional activity, which seems to be more important, was noted. It is proved that teaching collaboration is a desirable result and an achievable goal of learning a foreign language at university.

МЕТОД TBL В СИСТЕМЕ ИНТЕНСИВНОГО ОБУЧЕНИЯ ИНОСТРАННОМУ ЯЗЫКУ В ВУЗЕ

This article discusses the features of the personal-oriented training methodology TBL (Task-Based Learning), which is based on communicative tasks with the aim of immersion in the language environment. The authors of the article emphasize the advantages of the TBL method compared to traditional methods of teaching English in the university system. In the article the features of group work at the lessons of English are revealed and the factors which influence on its efficiency are formulated. The TBL method is actively used by the authors in their work with students of economic specialties, the experience of implementing the method is also reflected in the analysis of one of the communicative situations.

Intersubject students’ integration in the process of teaching professional French and economics

This article is devoted to the study of the problem of intersubject integration of students of economic specialties in the process of learning professional French. The author explores the concepts of “interdisciplinary integration”, “interdisciplinary training”, revealing their advantages in the modern learning process. The article also focuses on specific principles that should be laid down in a system of truly effective intersubject integration of economics students in their development of a professional French level.

IMPROVEMENT OF INTERDISCIPLINARY COMMUNICATIONS IN THE LEARNING OF HIGHER AND APPLIED MATHEMATICS

The article is devoted to the analysis of features of the methodology for the implementation of interdisciplinary communications in teaching higher and applied mathematics to future specialists in the economic field. It is proposed to create for individual tasks or topics of an applied nature, small interactive training materials focused on further use in the application of the mathematical apparatus in special disciplines. The advantage of using such materials is the presence of feedback and an individual orientation, as well as the possibility of intensifying the educational process in the study of special disciplines.To control the quality of independent work, the use of testing according to the «Integrated Testlets» technology is proposed. Such testing is close to interviewing a student in the form of dialogue. «Integrated Testlets» are a chain of interconnected questions. Thus, when conducting such a test, it is checked that students consciously use the mathematical apparatus in applied problems.It is proposed to coordinate the content of educational tasks in various disciplines in order to achieve the relevant competencies. Such an approach means a focused consideration in the course of higher and applied mathematics of such problems that are an integral part or a separate element of tasks from other disciplines. Thus, the study of the use of the mathematical apparatus is “spiral”. Students repeatedly return to the study of certain applied problems in the course of studying various disciplines. This has a positive effect on motivation, improves the effectiveness of studying the course and the level of assimilation of the material. The paper gives examples of the creation of such learning situations when studying the courses “Higher and Applied Mathematics”, “Information Systems and Technologies”, “Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics”. In addition, it is proposed the implementation of interdisciplinary communications with the participation of students of various specialties. As an example of such cooperation, the use of empirical data obtained in the course of a sociological study by students of the specialty "Sociology" is considered. The data of a sociological study are used as input in solving professionally oriented problems by students of economic specialties.
