The assertion of the activity-related [deiatel'nostnaia] nature of man and of the richness of his essential being (formed from the wealth and manifold nature of the formats and types of activity in which individuals are proficient) and the classical formulation of the socioeconomic determination of historically evolved types of activity are generally familar propositions of Marxism. In this sense it is difficult not to agree that education is not only one of the leading forms of activity for a worthwhile human personality in the socialist epoch, but also, and even more importantly, an indispensable prerequisite for the individual's mastery of all other forms of activity.
