Strategi Implementasi Program Smart Indonesia

This study investigates the implementation of the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) at Buduran 1 State Vocational School in Sidoarjo Regency using a qualitative descriptive research method. Through interviews, observation, and documentation, data was collected from key informants, including the school principal, administrative staff, and program beneficiaries. The study reveals that PIP is effectively communicated through special events and verbal interactions with students. The school has provided sufficient facilities, such as computers and wifi, and benefits from supportive factors like parental involvement and collaboration between Guidance and Counseling teachers. However, challenges arise from communication gaps between funding agencies and schools, impacting data accuracy. The findings underscore the need for streamlined communication channels to optimize PIP implementation. Highlight : Effective Communication: The study emphasizes the importance of special events and verbal communication in disseminating information about the Smart Indonesia Program, ensuring awareness among students and stakeholders. Facility Provision: Buduran 1 State Vocational School's proactive approach in providing adequate facilities, including computers and wifi, contributes to the successful implementation of the Smart Indonesia Program. Communication Challenges: The research highlights the inhibiting factor of communication gaps between channeling agencies and schools, impacting fund collection and data accuracy, underscoring the need for improved communication channels. Development of the Citizenship Education Method in Fostering Digital Citizenship Through Information and Communication Technology in Schools

The presence of information technology generally has a fairly high positive impact on society. This can help facilitate various community activities. However, unfortunately, there is a lot of misuse of this technology, so as a result there is a need to learn the norms for using technology, especially among students. This research then aims to look at strategies for developing PKN methods so that they can foster digital citizenship by utilizing information and communication technology in schools. This research will be carried out using a qualitative approach. The population used in this research was class XI students at Rawamerta State Vocational School. The results of this research then found that increasing understanding of the concept of digital citizenship can be stimulated through the preparation of Citizenship Education materials that attract students' interest. The attraction of a topic will be an incentive for students to be more active in learning, especially when the material is integrated into the context of everyday life. Contextual digital citizenship material can be presented in the form of concrete experiences, making it easier for students to understand the learning content. Thus, the development of digital citizenship can be successful through this approach.

Pelatihan Teknik Metafora untuk Meningkatkan Efisiensi Proses Konseling di SMK Negeri 5 Malang

This training was held with the aim of increasing the competency of counselors at SMK Negeri 5 Malang in using metaphor techniques in counseling. By increasing counselor competency in using metaphor techniques, it is hoped that counseling services at SMK Negeri 5 Malang can run better and more efficiently. This community service activity will be carried out in the form of training using the flipped classroom model and experiential learning. The flipped classroom model is used to help participants master the concepts and procedures of metaphor techniques in counseling. Meanwhile, experiential learning is used to improve participants' skills in applying metaphor techniques in counseling. This training was carried out by three lecturers at the Department of Guidance and Counseling, State University of Malang and attended by seven counselors at State Vocational School 5 Malang. The training was carried out in three sessions. The first session was held online asynchronously. In this session, participants are asked to study the material independently through the guides and training materials that have been provided. The second training session was carried out online synchronously. In this session, participants were invited to discuss and explore the concept of metaphor that had been studied independently in the first session. In the third session, participants were invited to practice knowledge about metaphors in counseling sessions. Measurements after the training activities showed that there was an increase in the participants' post-test scores compared to the pre-test scores. Based on interviews with participant representatives, it was also known that the participants had a positive impression of all training activities.

Practice Intensity Influences Successful Learning Outcomes: Study at Vocational High School in Serui, Papua, Indonesia

This study aims to assess the influence of practice intensity on the electrical installation learning outcomes of students at Kainui Serui State Vocational School in Papua. Electrical installation learning outcomes at SMKN (State of Vocational High School in Indonesia) Kainui, Serui-Papua, need to be improved due to students’ lack of practical learning outcomes. According to research findings, there needs to be more practical intensity in this learning. This study used a quantitative-associative technique. The acquired data was then subjected to a fundamental linear regression analysis. The study yielded a coefficient of determination of .581. These findings indicate that the intensity of practice has a 58.1% effect on the electrical installation learning outcomes of students at Serui at Kainui Vocational High School in Papua.

On Finding Shortest Path Over Vocational High School in Yogyakarta Based on Graph Theory Algorithm

Finding shortest path is one of problem in graph theory. This research aims to apply the Dijkstra algorithm in determining the shortest route for State Vocational School (SMK) students throughout Yogyakarta. State Vocational Schools throughout Yogyakarta have several locations spread across various regions, and determining the shortest path is crucial for the efficiency of students' time and transportation. Dijkstra's algorithm was chosen because of its ability to find the shortest path in a weighted graph, which can be applied to complex networks of school trajectories. The research method involved collecting geographic data on schools, available transportation, and distance between locations. This data is used to build a weighted graph that represents the transportation network between State Vocational Schools throughout Yogyakarta. The implementation of Dijkstra's algorithm is then carried out using python programming language. We hope that the research results can provide mapping of the shortest routes between schools, minimize student travel time, and increase transportation efficiency. The practical implications of this research include the development of an information system or application that can help students, teachers and schools in planning daily trips. Apart from that, the research results can also be a basis for developing methods for determining the shortest route in the context of other schools or similar environments.

OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES IN IMPLEMENTING CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES PERCEIVED BY TEACHERS AS FACILITATORS AT STATE VOCATIONAL SCHOOL 1 JAMBI CITY: A NARRATIVE INQUIRY

This study aims to give a general overview of the opportunities and difficulties the facilitators encountered at State Vocational School 1 Jambi City when implementing co-curricular activities. Using in-depth interviews and narrative inquiry as the research methodology, two English teachers who have been practicing P5 for two years were designated as the Facilitators. According to the findings, offering the P5 as a co-curricular has the ability to strengthen the school program, offer a more concentrated character development program, foster teacher collaboration, and raise student performance in terms of independence and creativity. One of the issues encountered during P5 implementation is locating references for P5 activity design and administration.

THE INFLUENCE OF INDEPENDENCE AND LEARNING ENVIRONMENT ON INTEREST IN STUDYING STUDENTS OF FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING AND INSTITUTIONS

Abstract This research aims to determine: 1) the influence of independence and the learning environment simultaneously on the learning interest of students majoring in financial and institutional accounting at SMK Negeri 2 East Luwu, 2) the influence of independence and the learning environment partially on the interest in learning of students majoring in financial accounting and institutions in East Luwu State Vocational School 2, and 3) the most dominant variable influencing the learning interest of students majoring in financial and institutional accounting at East Luwu State Vocational School 2. The variables in this research are learning independence as the first independent variable (X1), learning environment as the second independent variable (X2) and learning interest as the dependent variable (Y). The population in this study was 117 students from the Department of Financial Accounting and East Luwu State Vocational School 2 for the 2022/2023 academic year. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling with a sample of 54 students chosen randomly without paying attention to the strata in the population. . The data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive percentage analysis, instrument testing, and hypothesis testing. The instrument test consists of a validity test and a reliability test. Hypothesis testing consists of normality test, multiple linear regression, simultaneous test (F test), multiple coefficient of determination (R2), partial test (t test) and partial coefficient of determination (r2).The results of this study indicate that learning independence and the learning environment simultaneously have a significant effect on interest in learning with a significance level of <0.05. Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination (R^2) is 0.457 (45.7%). This means that the influence of student learning independence and the learning environment on learning interest is 45.7%, while the remaining 54.3% is influenced by other factors that were not researched. Apart from that, learning independence partially has a significant effect on interest in learning with a significance level of <0.05 and the learning environment partially has a significant effect on interest in learning with a significance level of <0.05. And independent learning has a dominant influence on interest in learning with a coefficient of determination of 0.394 (39.4%)..Keywords: Learning Independence, Learning Environment, and Interest in Learning.

Digital Supervision and Team Work of Science Education at Vocational School

The advances of information technology affect the variety of learning materials. This reality must be responded by developing learning model and also supervision system. The supervision and team work at science education also can be coordinated with the development of technology, especially technology based on handheld devices such as such as phones and tablets. This research aims to describe and determine: The influence of academic supervision on teamwork; The Effect of Academic Supervision on Teacher Job Satisfaction; The Effect of Teamwork on Job Satisfaction of State Vocational School Teachers in Medan City. The research method used is a quantitative method with a survey approach. The number of respondents was 198 people taken using Proportional Random Sampling techniques. Student Perceptions of Science Subjects at State Vocational Schools in Central Lombok Regency

Vocational High School (SMK) is an education that prepares students to become professionals according to their program of expertise. In addition to learning science in vocational education subjects, which is something new, the previous vocational subject curriculum did not study science. The purpose of this study was to describe students' perceptions of science learning at State Vocational High School (SMKN) 1 Praya, SMKN 1 Pujut , and SMKN 1 West Praya. This research includes descriptive research. The sample in this study was 20% of the tenth grade students of Paiwisata Vocational High School in Central Lombok district, totaling 37 students SMKN 1 Praya, 25 students of SMKN 1 Pujut, and 26 students of SMKN 1 West Praya . Sampling was done by simple random sampling, and the instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is percentage. Students' Perceptions of Research Results in Science Lessons show a percentage of 74.02% with sufficient criteria. It can be concluded that students' perceptions of learning science meet sufficient criteria.

Enhancing Students' Proficiency in English Grammar Through the Implementation of Snowball Throwing Pedagogical Model

This research endeavors to assess students' proficiency in English grammar pertaining to the past tense through a comparative analysis of their pre-test and post-test scores. Employing the innovative snowball throwing learning model as the intervention strategy, this study aims to augment students' grammatical competence in the past tense. The research methodology adopts a classroom action research approach conducted across two cycles. The subjects comprise Grade X students in the secretary class of the first state Vocational school in Manokwari, selected through purposive sampling from four classes. Research instruments include a reading test, observation sheet, and lesson plan. The initial data analysis of the pre-test yields a result of 29.2, indicating a classification in the poor category. However, following the implementation of the snowball throwing model through two cycles (treatment one and treatment two), noteworthy improvement is observed. Treatment one yields a result of 60.3 in the fair category, while treatment two results in an average score of 80.2, classifying as "Good." Importantly, this score serves as the post-test score. The findings underscore the efficacy of the snowball-throwing model in enhancing students' grasp of past tense grammar

Development of a self-directed learning model based on independence with a differentiation approach to improve higher order thinking skills of vocational high school students

The Self Directed Learning Model is an independent activity that requires students to think critically and solve the problems. The aim of the research is to produce a Self-Directed Learning model based on independence with a differentiation approach to improve the higher order thinking skills of State Vocational School (SMK) students in North Bengkulu. The research uses the Research and Development method with a 4-D development model design consisting of definition, design, development and dissemination. The sample was chosen randomly and purposively sampling. Data collection uses questionnaires, interviews, validation and documentation. The results obtained in the research are an independence-based Self Directed Learning model that suits the needs of students at SMK Negeri 2 and SMK Negeri 5 North Bengkulu. The feasibility of the Independence-based Self Directed Learning model was validated by expert validators, vocational basics subject teachers.

The Role of Teachers in the Formation of Students' Entrepreneurial Character at SMK Negeri 1 Polewali

The role of teachers in forming the entrepreneurial character of class x students at SMK Negeri 1 Polewali. This research aims to determine the role of teachers in forming the entrepreneurial character of class x students at SMK Negeri 1 Polewali. This research is quantitative research that shows cause and effect. The sample in this study was 51 students at Polewali State Vocational School 1 using a simple random sampling technique. The data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this research are descriptive data analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The research results show that the teacher's role is in the "Very good" category with 4 indicators, namely educator, mentor, teacher, and motivator. Meanwhile, the entrepreneurial character formation of class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Polewali is in the "Very good" category with 3 indicators, namely optimistic, responsible, and paying attention to quality. Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence on the role of teachers in the formation of the entrepreneurial character of class X students at SMK Negeri 1 Polewali

Perbandingan Tingkat Pelaksanaan Praktik Kerja Industri SMKN 2 Purwodadi dan SMK Pembangunan Nasional di Purwodadi

The purpose of this research was to describe the process of the implementation of student state Vocational School Prakerin in Purwodadi and test the difference Prakerin in state Vocational School and private Vocational Schools in Purwodadi. This research uses research survey that is descriptive. The population of this research is the grade I Concrete Masonry Construction Engineering (TKBB) of state Vocational School and private vocational schools in Purwodadi. The Sampling technique used was Simple Random Sampling. The results of the research implementation process of state Vocational School that is as much as 10 students (21.74%) stated the very high category, 31 students (67.39%) including the categories high, by as much as 5 students (10.87%) stated the categories and score an average of 141.26. Results of the study in private vocational schools show that as many as 8 students (17.39%) including the very high category, 14 students (30.43%) said the high category, as many as 14 students (30.43%) including categories and score an average of 134.37. The results of calculation using SPSS t-Test of can to score t of extent and significance is 3.794 0.000 < 0.05 so the hypothesis described there are differences in the implementation process state Vocational School and private Vocational Schools in Purwodadi was supported by the data. Implementation of students state Vocational School Prakerin including categories higher and private Vocational Schools categories include enough.

Integration of PJBL, STEAM, and Learning Tool Development in Improving Students' Critical Thinking Skills

Objective: This research aims to explore improving critical thinking skills by applying Project Based Learning (PjBL) based on the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) model in Renewable Energy material at 1st Trowulan State Vocational School. The main aim of this research is to assess the effectiveness of STEAM-based PjBL in improving students' critical thinking skills at 1st Trowulan State Vocational School Trowulan. Method: The research method used was an experiment with a One Group Pre-test and Post-test design. The research subjects comprised 25 students of Class X Computer and Network Engineering 1 (X-1) and 26 students of Class X Computer and Network Engineering 1 (X-2). During the research, students were given PjBL-based learning with a STEAM approach to Renewable Energy material. Before and after learning, students are tested using a pre-test and post-test to measure the increase in their critical thinking skills. Results: The analysis shows that implementing PjBL-based learning based on STEAM is efficacious in improving students' critical thinking abilities. A comparison of pre-test and post-test scores on Renewable Energy material shows a significant increase in students' critical thinking abilities. Novelty: The novelty of this research lies in its new contribution to the field of education. The combination of the PjBL and STEAM approaches in learning Renewable Energy makes a new contribution to preparing students to face real-world challenges that continue to develop. Critical thinking ability is an essential skill in facing the challenges of the 21st century, and this research shows that this approach is practical in developing it. Integrating critical thinking skills into STEAM-based learning provides essential added value in education.

School-Based Management From the Viewpoint of the Principal's Leadership (Study at State Vocational School 1 Bone)

Principal leadership in school-based management (SBM) is the principal's ability to influence and mobilize all existing resources in school management activities. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to determine the leadership of the Principal in terms of School-Based Management (SBM) at SMKN 1 Bone. To achieve this goal, the researchers identified seven informants, namely school headmaster, teachers, administrative staff, students, and the community. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation techniques, and data analysis techniques in this study were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of this study, it shows that the principal's leadership in terms of school-based management (SBM) at SMKN 1 Bone has been carried out well based on the research focus, namely in terms of six indicators of effective principal leadership in school-based management that the principal is able to empower teachers -teachers to carry out the learning process properly, smoothly and productively, headmaster can complete assignments and work according to a predetermined time, headmaster are able to establish harmonious relationships with the community so that they can involve them actively in order to realize school and educational goals, the principal succeeded in applying leadership principles that were in accordance with the maturity level of teachers and other employees in the school, the principal was able to work with the school management team, the principal had succeeded in realizing school goals productively in accordance with predetermined provisions.

Evaluation Of Physical Education Independent Curriculum Through CIPP: Managerial Implementation In Learning Activities

The government has created an independent curriculum as a learning recovery, but not all schools implement it well. Therefore, an evaluation is needed, especially regarding the management of learning activities. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of the independent curriculum model in physical education subjects at State Vocational Schools in Tasikmalaya City. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach. In this study, data were collected through triangulation techniques consisting of observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. This study involved the vice principal for curriculum, four physical education teachers, and four students. They were selected through a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis involved preparation, inference, and verification. The results showed that the context evaluation of goals and objectives indicators and strength indicators had been fulfilled. However, weakness indicators related to teacher consistency in implementing learning still exist. Input evaluation on indicators of curriculum structure, PE teacher competence, teaching materials, and students have been fulfilled and run well. However, input evaluation on indicators of infrastructure availability still needs to support the continuity of PE learning. Process evaluation on indicators of implementation and implementation of assessments has gone well, but product evaluation on indicators of program achievement still needs to be improved. Implementing CIPP managerial evaluation is carried out by ensuring that the evaluation is carried out systematically, periodically, and comprehensively. Evaluation results are used as the basis for decision-making related to the improvement and development of the Physical Education curriculum. Teachers and school management play an active role in ensuring the sustainability and effectiveness of the evaluation.

Development of Basic Accounting and Finance Books Based on Differences Learning Style for Vocational School

This study aims to produce textbooks on Fundamentals of Accounting and Financial Institutions based on learning style differentiation as an alternative teaching material for teachers and student classes at State Vocational Schools in Surabaya, which consist of State Vocational School 1 Surabaya, State Vocational School 4 Surabaya, State Vocational School 6 Surabaya, and State Vocational School 10 Surabaya as well as knowing the effectiveness of using accounting textbooks based on learning style differentiation. The product produced in this study is a textbook on Fundamentals of Accounting and Finance adapted to the Merdeka Curriculum. This research is a research that uses mixed methods consisting of development research and experimental research. The development was carried out using the 4D development model from Thiagarajan which was carried out in full, namely definition, design, development and deployment. Data in this study were collected using questionnaires and tests and analyzed using descriptive analysis of proportions and t test (paired-samples t test). The results showed that overall the average proportion of eligibility for open books was very feasible. This shows that the developed textbook has valid criteria and is feasible to use. Based on the results of the t test (paired-samples t test) it is known that there are differences in motivation and student learning outcomes before and after being given treatment in the form of accounting textbooks based on learning style differentiation which indicates that textbooks have an effective effect.

Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter Religius Melalui Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Keagamaan Di SMK Negeri Rembang Pasuruan

Religious character education is important for balanced personal development. Rembang State Vocational School has the responsibility to develop students' religious character. This research aims to analyze the strategies and implications of religious extracurricular activities in strengthening students' religious character. The research method is a case study with data from observation, interviews and documentation. The results show that strategies such as group discussions, Tadarus Al-Qur'an, Istighosah, and Al-Banjari shape student character. PAI teachers and extracurricular coaches play an important role. The implication is the formation of a character of responsibility, empathy, strong morals, and creating a harmonious school environment. This religious character helps students face challenges with confidence and better decision-making abilities.
