Psychological Aspects of a Police Officer’s Professional Success

The article analyses the general concept of human success from various psychological and scientific perspectives, as well as the concept of “a police officer’s professional success” separately, since it plays an important role for both the individual and society at the present stage of society development. The author emphasises that at the scientific and legislative levels there are no explanations and clarifications as to who is a professionally successful police officer. The study provides a generalised analysis of police officers’ powers, among which the main ones are highlighted which every police officer must perform regardless of their position, length of service and other factors. The importance of professional training of police officers during their service is also emphasised. To determine the level of success of a police officer’s professional activity, it is proposed to take into account a combination of two components – external and internal. The external component of police officers’ activity includes professional development, which is characterized by the level of performance of the main professional tasks based on knowledge of the principles and powers of the National Police of Ukraine at the legislative level. The internal component includes individual psychological properties of a police officer, which to a certain extent ensure efficient and high-quality performance of functional duties. In addition, the importance of social intelligence as a means of effective and comfortable interaction with the public is emphasised. Particular attention is paid to the coping strategy of a police officer, which allows him/her to effectively cope with stressful situations arising during the performance of official tasks. Through the analysis of the main powers of police officers, the need for them to have emotional intelligence, which includes such components as empathy, understanding, recognition and the ability to manage their own and other people’s emotions, is determined. Moreover, the article shows the importance for police work of such an individual property of a person as the level of internality, which determines the ability of a person to control and manage his/her behaviour, take responsibility for his/her own actions, influence the formation and development of such internal factors as motivation, efficiency of decision-making in stressful situations. Finally, it is concluded that the interrelation of external and internal components is important for determining the level of professional success of a police officer.

Developing Approaches to Optimise Reparative Histogenesis of the Tympanic Membrane Tissues: History, the State-of-Art and Perspectives of Reparative Otosurgery

The paper describes the issues to optimize reparative histogenesis of the tympanic membrane tissues (history, state-of-the art and perspectives) based on data from national and foreign scientific literature. One of the causes of hearing loss is the violated integrity of the tympanic membrane, resulting from its injury or the developing inflammatory processes in the middle ear. It has been established that small perforations of the tympanic membrane can spontaneously close in the reparative stage of acute purulent otitis media or when the exacerbation of chronic purulent otitis media subsides. Restoration of large perforations of the tympanic cavity requires surgical intervention. Since 17th century, plastic surgery options for the tympanic membrane perforations with various biological and non-biological materials have been developing. However, until the beginning of the XX century, the approaches used did not lead to complete histio- and organotypic restoration of the tympanic membrane, but only ensured closure of the defect. At the present stage, otosurgeons use various plastic materials to restore the integrity of the eardrum: autografts; allografts; implants made of non-biological material. Nylon mesh, cotton-adhesive discs, and knotless knitted fabric made of polyamide fiber are applied as implants. Biological transplants applied include the skin of the inner surface of the shoulder and the occipital-temporal region, the wall of the vein, the fascia of the temporal muscle, the dura mater, the perichondrium, nanostructured bioplastic material created on the basis of hyaluronic acid hydrocolloid and a peptide complex, etc. The use of these modern options in most cases leads to organotypic and, in some cases, histiotypic restoration of the eardrum structure, ensuring complete epithelialization of its outer and inner surfaces. However, there are a number of unresolved issues regarding the diverse materials application for plastic surgery, as well as the timing of reconstructive surgeries on the middle ear.

TECHNOLOGY OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROJECT IN THE PROCESS OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE BACHELORS IN PHYSICS AT A PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

In the article, the author considers an educational project in physics as a unique activity of participants (teachers, students from different groups, courses) in the field of physical research, which has a set deadline and ensures the achievement of the planned result, which is a unique educational product. The technology of the educational project is interpreted as a pedagogical technology of resource-based learning of future bachelors in physics, which is a set of methods and techniques for organizing the didactic process and the educational and research interaction of all project participants to achieve the result within the specified time period. The stages of implementation of the technology of the educational project in the process of professional training of future bachelors in physics at the pedagogical university are defined: the stage of strategic planning, the stage of modelling, the stage of project implementation, the stage of presentation and reflection. The article provides a detailed description of the project, which involves the creation of videos for demonstration to students of a professional college, defines its stages, hypothesis, composition of participants, basis and terms of implementation, predicted result and results of reflection. It is noted that during the organization and implementation of educational projects in physics, the teacher performs the role of a tutor, which consists in determining the goals and content of project learning, in helping students to search information, in project planning, in the development of a structural and descriptive model of a physics project, in coordinating the process of work on the project. The teacher should guide the process of students’ educational and research interaction, support and encourage them to continuously progress in the work on the project, helping, but never doing the work instead of them.

Industrial fishing on Lake Ilmen, Novgorod region: catch dynamics in the XX century and the current status

The long-term dynamics of commercial catches on Lake Ilmen in the Novgorod region for the period from 1912 to 2023 was traced. The structure of catches and the fishing base is described, taking into account the affecting factors. Specifics of organizing fishing at present stage are given.

Exploring Language Proficiency: Dynamics of Acquiring Arabic Speaking Skills from Stephen Krashen's Perspective At Islamic Universities

Understanding the dynamics of acquiring Arabic speaking skills is crucial in the context of Islamic universities, where language proficiency is integral to academic success and personal development. This study aims to explore the process of acquiring Arabic speaking skills from Stephen Krashen's perspective at two undisclosed Islamic universities in Indonesia. Using a qualitative case study design, the research employs interviews with lecturers and students as the primary data collection technique. The analysis is conducted descriptively, involving stages of data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that Arabic speaking skills are acquired through two main approaches. Within the classroom, intensive learning is facilitated through a direct method emphasizing language practice, supported by a curriculum focused on daily themes and language reinforcement programs. Outside the classroom, students engage in active communication in Arabic in various environments, such as dormitories, mosques, and cafeterias, while participating in activities that support language acquisition. These factors, combined with student motivation and a conducive learning environment, significantly contribute to the acquisition of Arabic speaking skills. The study concludes that the different learning approaches at the two universities effectively enhance students' Arabic speaking proficiency. Key factors contributing to successful language learning include the presence of Arabic language environments, appropriate curricula, active learning methods, individual motivation, and practical experiences outside the classroom, such as internships or student exchange programs. The research suggests that educators and students should focus on creating immersive language environments and incorporating practical experiences to maximize language acquisition.

Analysis on Applications of Mind Map in English Writing Teaching

At the present stage, the teaching activities aim at promoting students’ learning quality and creative accomplishments. This demands teachers to create more teaching activities to facilitate students’ creative potential. As an efficient tool for thinking, mind map can achieve the visualization of thinking through presenting the hierarchy of concepts and the sequence of thinking. Naturally, it will be helpful to promote both students’ creativity and memory. It also can arouse students’ writing interest and cultivate students’ logical thinking ability. Therefore, this paper is going to have a brief introduce in the problems existing in students’ English writing. Furthermore, it will improve students’ English writing ability by applying mind map during the writing teaching process. Last but not least, it can arouses students’ critical thinking.

In the first quarter of the XXI century, a difficult situation with migration policy is developing in Russia. This idea was especially worrisome at the XII St. Petersburg International Legal Forum in May 2024. During his speech, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (IC RF), Professor A.I. Bastrykin, repeatedly returned to the issues of legal regulation of migration. This article is devoted to the development of the system of legal regulation of migration relations in the Russian Federation at the present stage in the light of the emergence of new challenges and criminogenic threats. In order to overcome the diverse political and legal problems in the field of regulation of migration relations, the authors propose current directions for reforming the sphere of public relations under consideration.

ПЕРСПЕКТИВИ ПОСИЛЕННЯ ПОЗИЦІЙ ЄВРОПЕЙСЬКИХ КОМПАНІЙ НА РИНКУ DEEP TECH В УМОВАХ МОДЕРНІЗАЦІЇ ІННОВАЦІЙНОГО ЛАНДШАФТУ ЄС

The purpose of the article is to highlight the prospects for strengthening the positions of European companies in the deep tech market in the context of the modernization of the EU innovation landscape by using the potential of regulatory policy and competition policy. The article is based on a research hypothesis, which stems from the fact that at the present stage there is a rethinking of the role of innovations as a source of socio-economic development of global economic entities. It has been established that even at the supranational level, powers in the field of implementing EU innovation policy are distributed between several departments and directorates; such distribution of powers has determined the specificity and diversity of budget mechanisms for financing innovations, which leads to subadditivity of innovation management. The role of innovation for European society is to transform research results into new, higher-quality goods and services in order to maintain and improve their competitiveness in the global market, as well as to improve the well-being of the population. The EU innovation policy is aimed at creating conditions recognized to facilitate the introduction of innovative ideas to the market, and is also a link between the policy of research and development in the field of technology and innovation and the industrial policy of states. Within the framework of the concept of open innovation, the following forms of international innovation cooperation can be distinguished: obtaining knowledge from the external environment (licensing, obtaining firms-sources of knowledge); knowledge transfer (for example, from a management company to foreign subsidiaries); partnership (equal cooperation between two companies, one of which is a non-resident of the other country); venture investments (infusion of foreign capital into innovative projects, start-ups). International innovation cooperation today is expressed mainly in the commercial activities of states: purchase and sale (export and import) of technologies in materialized form; provision of technological know-how (transfer of experience) on a contractual basis, as well as technical support within the framework of cooperation; sale of patents and licenses; personnel training (advanced training, retraining); creation of joint ventures. Coordination is the development by two states or a group of states of a common policy in the field of innovation and technology development. The methods for implementing this form of international innovation cooperation may be the implementation of various interstate programs in the field of joint scientific and technical activities. DeepTech ("deep" technologies) are fundamentally new technological solutions of innovative companies, including start-ups, developed with the aim of finding answers to global challenges and requiring long-term scientific research and significant investment. The areas of deep-tech most often include: new materials, advanced manufacturing technologies, biotechnology, blockchain, robotics, photonics, microelectronics and quantum computing, life sciences, chemistry, space, green energy and agriculture. "Deep" technologies will be in demand beyond the EU and will generally increase the inflow of investment into the innovation sector of Europe. An even more significant budget (EUR 372 billion for 2021-2027) has been allocated through the InvestEU program. It plans to support successful projects of SMEs entering IPO and implement venture fund programs focused on the late stages of the innovation cycle (scale-up venture capital) and formed from the funds of pension funds and insurance companies. Another program, "European Scale-up Action for Risk Capital" (ESCALAR), with a budget of EUR 1.2 billion until 2027, also includes tools to support innovative businesses. The general logic of the modernization of the EU innovation development program assumes a certain "smoothing" of the pan-European innovation landscape by supporting existing and launching new interregional initiatives. This will help to balance the innovative development of regions and EU countries, including those with low indicators in this area. One of the features of venture capital is its high-risk nature, i.e. the possibility of not receiving the expected profit, or losses as a result of the inefficiency of the financed project. This risk must be justified by the high profitability of commercial activity. But venture capital does not simply strive for risky entrepreneurial projects, it kind of frees the innovative entrepreneur from risk, shifting it to itself through venture funds, where this risk is shared between its numerous partners in proportion to the contribution of each. For this reason, venture capital controls the activities of the innovative entrepreneur, creating all the conditions for him to enter the market.

Teachers' problems in carrying out the learning process are very complex. Starting from learning administration skills to teaching skills. This problem must be resolved completely because teachers are the spearhead of quality education whose implications can only be felt in the long term. This study aims to formulate an academic supervision management system as well as the implications arising from the existence of the system in question. This research is qualitative research with a case study type where the process of extracting data is by conducting interviews, observation and documentation. Checking data using extended participation, persistence, and triangulation. Meanwhile, the analysis uses the stages of data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This study resulted in the finding that the academic supervision management system at MTsN 3 Ponorogo is a collaborative-based academic supervision whose supervisor consists of the principal, deputy of principal, and senior teachers with a supervision management cycle consisting of planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up supervision. The implementation of academic supervision brings changes in understanding for teachers both conceptually and technically, namely knowledge of making learning tools, understanding of student behavior and characteristics, understanding of the use of information technology in the learning process, teacher interest in making changes in attitudes and performance. improve better, and the implementation of learning evaluations is more varied and complex. However, this research needs to be studied from a quantitative perspective to determine how much influence the implementation of academic supervision has on each aspects of teacher pedagogical competence that are not covered in this research.

Socio-political factors in the emergence of border armed conflicts in Central Asia

This article examines the socio-political causes of border disputes and armed conflicts between states in Central Asia. Socio-political causes of border disputes in Central Asia encompass ethnic tensions, resource allocation conflicts, geopolitical influences, weak governance, cross-border community ties, and strategic national security interests. The article assesses the importance of Central Asia in the world political system and describes interactions between the states of the Central Asian region in the context of the settlement of territorial disputes at the present stage.

Professional self-determination in the conditions of studying for a master's degree

Introduction. The article is devoted to one of the most urgent problems of modern education – the professional self-determination of undergraduates in the process of university education. The article provides a historical and pedagogical analysis of the state and development of the problem of professional self-determination in Russia from the 20s of the last century to the present. In the context of the formation of a new system of higher pedagogical education in Russia, the authors attempt to consider the professional self-determination of future masters as the need for their effective professional training. Materials and Methods. As research methods, the method of analysis and systematization of psychological and pedagogical theoretical and experimental and scientific and methodological studies of domestic scientists on the problem of professional development of a future specialist in the conditions of modern domestic higher education system was used. When describing the specifics of the professional training of undergraduates, the emphasis is placed on the use of methods of systematization and generalization of psychological and pedagogical research and regulatory documents. Results. Considering the professional self-determination of future specialists as the need for their professional training, based on the analysis of philosophical and psychological and pedagogical research, the authors clarified and specified the key categories of research: "self-determination", "professional self-determination", "readiness for self-determination". The article reveals the features of modern learning youth at different levels of professional self-determination. The types of self-determination (professional, social, personal, family, life, religious, etc.) are identified. Such important aspects of vocational training as: changes in the content of vocational training of a university student, the influence of socio-cultural factors on the professional training of future specialists, the formation of competencies and competence, the psychological component of vocational training in the educational environment of the university are revealed. Discussion and Conclusions. The problem of professional self-determination of undergraduates at the present stage of development of society and the creation of a new system of Russian pedagogical education in the context of globalization and digitalization is significantly updated and requires the search for new forms and methods of professional training of specialists.

Design of Oil Mist and Volatile-Organic-Compound Treatment Equipment in the Manufacturing Plant

To effectively confront the acute challenge of global warming, at the present stage, the Chinese government has designated carbon reduction as the core objective to accomplish the coordinated control of greenhouse gas and pollutant emissions. As China is a major manufacturing country, with the continuous improvement of air emission standards, it is particularly necessary to carry out the design of more efficient volatile organic pollutant emission devices. This study takes a treatment system with a waste gas ventilation volume of 6 × 104 m3·h−1 as an example, adopts the end treatment approach of adsorption and catalytic combustion coupling, and designs a purification device composed of multistage oil-mist recovery, electrostatic adsorption, dry filtration, activated-carbon adsorption and desorption, catalytic combustion, etc. It also employs the fuzzy proportional-integral-derivative fine temperature control algorithm, and the temperature overshoot was decreased by 85%. The average emission concentration of volatile organic compounds at the equipment outlet is 6.56 mg·m−3, and the average removal rate is 93.99%, far surpassing the national emission standards. The device operates efficiently and stably, confirming that the end-coupled treatment system based on the adaptive fuzzy proportional-integral-derivative temperature control strategy can effectively handle volatile organic compounds with oil mist and holds significant promotion and research value.

Real-world evidence of survival outcomes in breast cancer subtypes after neoadjuvant chemotherapy in a Brazilian reference center.

Neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC), traditionally used for locally advanced disease, is now applied for operable disease, particularly to treat aggressive breast cancer (BC). This study aimed to characterize the pathological complete response (pCR) and its relationship with overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) among BC patients receiving NAC in a Brazilian public reference center, as well as the association between pCR and BC subtypes. A retrospective cohort study used a comprehensive BC database from a Brazilian women's health reference center, including patients diagnosed between 2011 and 2020 who underwent NAC. We collected demographic, cancer-specific, and treatment-related data, analyzing OS and DFS based on pCR status using the semiparametric Kaplan-Meier method, with the date of BC diagnosis as the starting point. The study included 1,601 patients, with an average age of 49 years and a majority presenting stage IIIa disease (35%). Most had invasive nonspecial type (NST) BC (94%), and a significant portion (86.7%) exhibited a Ki-67 index <14. The overall pCR rate was 22.7%, with higher frequencies observed in the triple negative and luminal B subtypes. Patients who achieved pCR had significantly higher survival rates (89% alive vs. 61%, P<0.001) and better DFS (90% vs. 66%, P<0.001), except in the luminal A subtype, where pCR did not correlate with improved OS or DFS. These updated real-world data (RWD) from BC patients who underwent NAC in Brazil revealed a pCR rate of 22.7% in all cancer subtypes and stages. pCR was not associated with better outcomes in patients with luminal A, contrasting with other subtypes.

Experimental Determination and Simulation Validation: Johnson–Cook Model Parameters and Grinding Simulation of 06Cr18Ni11Ti Stainless Steel Welds

Hydrogen permeation resistance in the welded region of 06Cr18Ni11Ti steel is relatively weak due to surface defects, which need high integrity surface machining. The parameters of the welding material for 06Cr18Ni11Ti steel are currently unavailable, which causes some inconvenience for simulation studies. To fill the lack of 06Cr18Ni11Ti steel weld material parameters in the relevant literature at the present stage, the quasi-static tensile test at different strain rates and notch specimen tensile tests were conducted in this paper and determined the Johnson–Cook (J-C) constitutive model parameters and Johnson–Cook failure model parameters. Subsequently, a multi-grain grinding simulation model was built based on W-M fractal dimension theory by using the determined material parameters. The influence of processing parameters on grinding heat was analyzed. Grinding experiments were conducted to analyze the influence of processing parameters on grinding heat and grinding force. By comparing the simulation and experimental results, it is revealed that the average error is 9.37%, indicating relatively small discrepancy. It is demonstrated that the grinding simulation model built in this paper could efficiently simulate the grinding process, and the determined weld material parameters of 06Cr18Ni11Ti steel have been verified to possess high accuracy and reliability.

EFFICIENCY OF MONETARY POLICY IMPLEMENTATION AS A BASIS FOR CENTRAL BANK STABILISATION POLICY UNDER MARTIAL LAW (UKRAINIAN AND ISRAELI PRACTICES)

The purpose of the paper is to summarise and present the anti-crisis practices of a central bank during martial law in the country, based on the experience of the National Bank of Ukraine and the Bank of Israel. The research methodology is based on an analysis of reports, guidelines, statistical data, scientific articles, legislation bases, and other relevant materials. One of the methodological aspects of this study is a comparison of the knowledge acquired about the regulations implemented by the two central banks after the introduction of martial law in the countries. The objective is to identify potential lessons learned for the banking regulations of Ukraine and the State of Israel. The results of the study show that the practical implementation of stabilisation measures by central banks is crucial for achieving financial stability of the state both during and after wartime, as well as the ability to predict possible deepening of crises and minimise their consequences. The tools and methods used by these central banks differ. In particular, the NBU's main monetary policy instrument was foreign exchange interventions, while the BoI actively used the key policy rate. The proper formation of international currency reserves and the possibility of using them during a war-related crisis is critical for both countries. This fact confirms that crisis management has different types of scenarios. Each anti-crisis scenario is unique. This paper highlights the practical need for interaction between monetary and macroprudential policies of the central bank in wartime. It demonstrates various combinations of methods and instruments of the central bank's monetary policy. This study also shows the interdependence of the economies of these two countries. Practical implementation. This analysis provides insight into the anti-crisis activities of central banks during unpredictable periods in a country's life, namely, during martial law. At the present stage, banking systems do not often face the challenges of war. Therefore, studying each case is important for improving theoretical knowledge and deepening practical research. Value / Originality. The author of the study collected the experience and practices of stabilisation activities of the central banks of Ukraine and Israel during the war.

Human-machine Voice and Human-machine Competition: Practical Landscape, Pattern Changes and Industrial Challenges of Generative AI-Enabled Audiobook Publishing

At present, generative artificial intelligence has a profound impact on the audiobook publishing industry chain, and exerts unprecedented transformative power in all aspects of audiobook publishing. This paper reviews the specific technical forms of generative artificial intelligence used in the process of audiobook publishing, including text-to-speech, speech recognition, intelligent speech interaction, voiceprint recognition, voice anonymization, etc., and shows the practical picture of how these technologies influence audiobook publishing in different stages of content creation, sound presentation, recording and editing, quality control, terminal playback and readers feedback. It analyzes the pattern changes of the audiobook publishing industry brought about by generative artificial intelligence, with "human-machine voice" as the core, and then discusses the challenges and reflections faced by the audiobook publishing industry under the trend of "human-machine competition and cooperation" from the aspects of underlying logic, industry pain points, fundamental principle, reading environment and technical ethics. Therefore, generative artificial intelligence technology is like a double-edged sword, audiobook publishers should fully understand its nature, conform to the trend of technology, and use it to enable new quality productive forces of audiobook publishing industry.

Унификация отраслевых торгов и их перевод в электронную форму как ключевые элементы совершенствования антимонопольного контроля за организацией и проведением торгов

The article is devoted to the research of the legal nature of tenders from the point of view of civil law and competition law, as well as identifying problems within the existing system of industry tenders, which lead to the formation of uncertain judicial practice. It is substantiated that the institution of tenders, initially formed and developed within the framework of civil law, at the present stage has acquired an interindustry character, in connection with which it is necessary to highlight both the civil and competitive significance of tenders. It is established that at the moment the legislation of the Russian Federation contains a significant list of cases of mandatory tenders, which, however, have a fragmentary industry character and do not ensure a sufficient level of competition. Based on this, arguments are given about the need to unify industry tenders in the form of uniform rules for organizing and holding tenders established by antimonopoly legislation, as well as transferring all tenders to electronic form to increase the number of tender participants, and, as a consequence, increase the level of competition in tenders for the purpose of effective implementation of state and municipal property.

Deep Learning and MRI Biomarkers for Precise Lung Cancer Cell Detection and Diagnosis

Aim This research work aimed to combine different AI methods to create a modular diagnosis system for lung cancer, including Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), VGG16, and Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) on MRI biomarkers. Models have then been evaluated and compared in their effectiveness in detecting cancer, using a meticulously selected dataset containing 2045 MRI images, with emphasis being put on documenting the benefits of the multimodal approach for attacking the complexities of the disease. Background Lung cancer remains the most common cause of cancer death in the world, partly because of the challenges in diagnosis and the late stage of presentation. Although Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) has become a critical modality in the identification and staging of lung cancer, too often, its effectiveness is curtailed by the interpretative variance among radiologists. Recent advances in machine learning hold great promise for augmenting the analysis of MRI and perhaps even increasing diagnostic accuracy with the start of timely treatment. In this work, the integration of advanced machine learning models with MRI biomarkers to solve these problems has been investigated. Objective The purpose of the present paper was to assess the effectiveness of integrating various machine-learning models with MRI biomarkers for lung cancer diagnostics, such as CNN, KNN, VGG16, and RNN. The dataset involved 2,045 MRI images, and the performances of the models were investigated by comparing their performance metrics to determine the best configuration of interconnection while underpinning the necessity of this multimodal approach for accurate diagnoses and, consequently, better patient outcomes. Methods For this study, we used 2045 MRI images, with 70% for training and 30% for validation. We used four machine-learning models to work on the photos: CNN, KNN, VGG16, and RNN. Systematic performance measures were included in the study: accuracy, recall, precision, and F1 score. The confusion matrices of this study compared the diagnostic power of every model to comprehend the pragmatic use of the models in a real-world predictive capability. Results The scores for the model were found to be better with the convolutional neural network in terms of recall, accuracy in measures tested, precision, and F1. The rest of the models, KNN, VGG16, and RNN, performed decently but were slightly lower in performance than CNN. The in-depth analysis through confusion matrices thus established the predictive reliability of the models in revealing immense insight into the capability of identifying true positives and minimizing false negatives in enhancing the diagnostic accuracy of lung cancer detection. Conclusion The findings obtained have shown further support and great potential for integrating advanced machine learning models with MRI biomarkers to improve lung cancer diagnosis. The high performance of CNN, high sensitivity and specificity of the KNN model, and robustness of results obtained from VGG16 and RNN models have pointed to the potential feasibility of AI in the accurate detection of cancer. Our work has shown strong support for this multimodal diagnostic approach, which might impact future practice in oncology through the integration of AI to improve treatment strategies and patient outcomes in medical imaging.

Features of civic consciousness of university students at the present stage of educational development

Aim. To study the features of civic consciousness among modern university students.Material and methods. A total of 467 students took part in the study. The original author’s questionnaire was used (I. V. Koltsova, 2024), aimed at identifying the characteristics of students’ civic consciousness.Results. The study showed that the majority of students believe that secondary schools should take an active part in the development of civic consciousness of young people. Students behave in society in accordance with generally accepted rules, know the history of the Russian Federation, its traditions and customs, conspicuous figures, rights and responsibilities, speak their native language and actively use it in communication with representatives of their nationality. After training, most graduates plan to stay and work in the Russian Federation. However, about 30% of subjects have low scores on such issues as participation in the Russian presidential and legislative elections. There is a high awareness on socio-political events and laws, which indicates the low social activity of this group of respondents.Conclusion. The conducted research made it possible to identify both positive trends in relation to the civic consciousness of students, as well as problem areas that require targeted educational work.
