THE POTENTIAL OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES IN IMPROVING THE PROCESS OF TRAINING AND RETRAINING OF MILITARY DOCTORS

The issue of improving the process of training and retraining of military doctors is determined by changes in the security environment of the state today, and the need to develop the military medical sector in the conditions of long-term resistance to russian aggression. This article highlights the potential of using digital technologies to improve the process of training and retraining of military doctors. The results of a survey of trainees at the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy (a higher military medical educational institution that provides training, retraining and advanced training of specialists in almost all specialties for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military establishment of Ukraine) are presented. It is shown that for the implementation of changes in the system of training and retraining of military doctors the Academy provides for a number of measures: introducing innovative changes in the content and methodology of education; introduction of flexible technology for planning and organizing the educational process, focused on personalization of learning; development of international scientific and scientific-medical collaborations. Based on the conducted research, it was determined that in the conditions of active hostilities in Ukraine, it is digital technologies that make it possible to quickly introduce changes in the process of training and retraining of military doctors by improving the educational and informational environment. It was established that improving the readiness of military doctors to use digital technologies in their professional activities requires their end-to-end use in the entire training system. The article provides examples of the use of digital technologies in the process of training and retraining of military doctors.

К вопросу о целесообразности введения учебной дисциплины «Основы оперативно-розыскной деятельности» в учебные планы подготовки юристов и специалистов для правоохранительных органов

Target: a study of historical aspects and the current state of teaching a course on operational investigative activities. The article examines the positive aspects and disadvantages of organizing the educational process in forty universities in the country in the field of study 40.03.01 Law and specialties 38.05.01 Economic security, 40.05.01 Legal support of national security, 40.05.02 Law enforcement, 40.05.03 Forensic examination, 40.05 .04 Judicial and prosecutorial activities. Methodology: dialectics, analysis, comparisons, generalizations. Conclusions. The authors substantiate the need to introduce the discipline “Fundamentals of operational-search activity” into the curricula of “civilian” universities. Scientific and practical significance. Based on the study, justifications are given for including the course in the curricula of universities for the training of lawyers and specialists for law enforcement agencies, which will contribute to the further development of the theory of operational intelligence in its open part and the training of qualified personnel for the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Federal Penitentiary Service, and the Federal Bailiff Service of Russia.

Educational services sphere as a tool for improving the quality of human resources in the region

The educational services sphere of Stavropol Krai occupies a significant place in the Russian economic sector development, as its main task is to meet the needs of the region, which is currently receiving special attention from the state, in qualified personnel. It is the end result of the functioning of the sphere that is a reliable foundation for human resources formation in this constituent entity. The role of education and human resources in the development of the regional economy of Stavropol Krai has been considered. The influence of the educational system on qualified specialists training necessary for sustainable development of the regional economy has been analyzed. The main trends and challenges related to education development in the region have been studied, and practical recommendations for optimizing educational programs and improving the quality of training offered. Particular attention has been paid to the issues of training highly qualified personnel and creating favorable conditions for their retention in the region. The influence of the human factor on educational services development in the region by means of SWOT-analysis has been considered. The purpose of the study is to develop institutional tools for the human factor development in the educational services sphere. The objective of the study is the identification of forms and issues of human factor development in the sphere. The research methodology is represented by institutional analysis and statistical method, SWOTanalysis is also applied. The results obtained can be used for forming and implementing a strategy for improving the education system in order to increase the region’s competitiveness.

Psychological Predictors of Aviation Personnel Readiness to Counter Terrorist Threats

The article presents the characteristics of psychological predictors of the readiness of civil aviation personnel to counter terrorist threats. An analysis of the existing practice of training civil aviation personnel is presented, the need to introduce into the educational process of training aviation personnel a system of psychological and pedagogical support for aviation personnel in the process of professional training to counter terrorist threats, which will be focused on increasing the psychological readiness of future specialists in the field of countering terrorism and extremism, is substantiated. The importance of training aviation personnel in profiling technology in the system of psychological and pedagogical support for the training of specialists is emphasized.

Социокультурный подход к изучению феномена детства

The article substantiates the relevance of the appeal to the study of the phenomenon of childhood, analyzes the negative consequences of the collapse of the country in the 1990s, and notes a positive trend in the activities of the state in the socio-cultural sphere of modern Russia. The methodological multidimensional nature of the study of the phenomenon of modern childhood is considered and the need for its use within the framework of a sociocultural approach is argued, while the features of childhood culture and its content are revealed. The authors present examples of the implementation of the results of scientific research on the phenomenon of childhood in the educational activities of universities in the country, as well as a brief description of the educational course “Culture of Childhood”, its constituent elements, and some approaches to teaching methods. An integral element in the study of the course “Culture of Childhood” is conducting training sessions and boundary control using interactive forms and teaching methods, performing creative tasks that contribute to the development of socio-cultural technologies, and the accumulation of a “creative portfolio”. The article substantiates the idea of the need for further study of childhood and the use of research results for implementation in social practice and in the training of specialists in the socio-cultural sphere. Conclusions are drawn that the study of the world of childhood in different human societies is multi- and interdisciplinary in modern science. The peculiarity of the socio-cultural approach to the study of the phenomenon of childhood is the systematization and synthesis of existing and new knowledge about modern childhood and the integration of research results into social practice, there has been a tendency to form a new aspect in the field of socio–cultural study of the phenomenon of childhood – educational.

Analysis of the use of intelligent education technologies

The article presents an analysis and prospects for the application of intelligent technologies in the field of education. In the study, the author made an attempt to experimentally test the effectiveness of pedagogical conditions for the use of intelligent educational technologies in the training of marine engineers and transport logistics specialists. The experimental search work on the use of intelligent educational technologies (IOT) in the context of educational platforms Google Meet, Discord, EIOS in the course of training in the discipline "Freight forwarding services" is summarized.

Bullying within specialist medical training in Australia: Analysis of the medical training survey, 2020-2023.

Bullying is common in medical specialist training in Australia. To understand bullying rates across medical specialist training programs, we analyse the recent Medical Training Survey, administered by the Medical Board of Australia to all registered medical practitioners. Medical Training Survey data were extracted and averaged from 2020 to 2023. Many speciality trainees reported personally experiencing or witnessing bullying. This was lowest in general practice (13% personally experienced and 15% witnessed) and highest in obstetrics and gynaecology (27% and 41%). The highest rate of bullying by supervisors was in surgery: 60% of surgical trainees stated that when they were bullied it was by their supervisor. Within psychiatry, 22% of trainees had personally experienced bullying and 32% of trainees had witnessed bullying. When they were bullied, the perpetrator was less commonly a supervisor (40%). In all specialities, there was a very low percentage of bullying which was reported, and was identified as having a satisfactory outcome: the most satisfactory outcomes (13%) were in general practice. Current rates of bullying for medical specialist trainees, the reluctance to report, as well as the lack of satisfactory outcomes, is of grave concern for Australian healthcare. This requires urgent attention at a systems level.

Implementation of a patient-centered phone line to address non-medical cancer support needs in an integrated health system.

208 Background: From the moment cancer is suspected, patients and their caregivers may feel overwhelmed and not know where to seek help for non-medical questions. Social risks, including financial instability, housing and food insecurity can lead to poor cancer outcomes, and 39% of Kaiser Permanente (KP) cancer patients screened positive for at least one social risk. KP implemented the Cancer Support Line to provide patients and caregivers with a single point of contact to address non-medical concerns, including financial navigation, social health needs, and general cancer information. Methods: Kaiser Permanente partnered with patients, clinicians, and health plan functions supporting member services, social health, and quality to co-design and implement a phone number for cancer members in the KP Northwest market. The Cancer Support Line (‘Line’) is an inbound phone number staffed by Cancer Support Specialists (‘Specialists’), a dedicated team of health plan member services, trained in cancer support skills. Specialists use four co-designed pathways to navigate callers to resources for financial questions, social needs, and general cancer information and support. If clinically appropriate questions arise, Specialists use existing operational channels to connect patients back to their care teams. Results: During the pilot, there were 1,057 interactions with members, patients, and caregivers from March 12 th to May 17 th . Financial questions about payment assistance and insurance benefits/eligibility emerged as the highest call driver. The top call outcomes by volume are shown in the included table. A high majority of calls (94%, n=992) were addressed by the Cancer Support Specialists themselves. Post-call survey results revealed that 96% of callers (n=26) rated their call experience high when asked “How would you rate your overall call experience today?” Conclusions: Effective collaboration across KP’s project teams was a critical driver of the pilot’s success. Workflows were built with all partner teams and departments, Specialist training was designed internally with consultation from the American Cancer Society, team communications were open and consistent, call reporting was robust and adaptable. Furthermore, the Line addresses a critical gap in the cancer patient experience: navigating non-medical needs that busy care teams are unable to address on their own. Though positive, these pilot results are preliminary and focused on one KP market. To evaluate the pilot for scalability, the team will assess process metrics and outcomes on caller, frontline staff, and Specialist experience on an ongoing basis to capture the Line’s broader operational impact. Lifelong learning in cardiology: success through innovation : Use of e-learning in further education and training

Lifelong learning in cardiology is essential, as treatment standards, technologies and drug treatment are constantly evolving. In this respect e‑learning plays acentral role, enabling doctors to flexibly and efficiently expand their knowledge. There are various offerings, from medical students and specialist training to highly specialised expert knowledge. The e‑learning platforms have become an indispensable tool in specialist training. Another concept is the combination of face-to-face teaching and e‑learning, known as blended learning. This is particularly effective in medical training. These models enable flexible preparation and follow-up and appeal to different types of learners. Overall, e‑learning offers avaluable resource for flexibly and efficiently acquiring knowledge and keeping up to date.

Compulsory Training in Post-pandemic Times - Presence, Digital, Hybrid & Co. Using the Example of the University Hospital of Würzburg

With the end of the pandemic in April 2023 the whole learning environment had run through some major changes. The act of normal teaching was not that easy anymore during the pandemic. The size of a class had to be cut down to a size that fits the hygienic guidelines. Therefore, methods like blended learning and virtual classrooms came to life stronger than before. The methods were not new but never before needed in such a strong matter. Due to the experience with these methods of education, teaching and learning stayed different. Topics like virtual reality and even augmented reality stayed and are to some point part of the educational system nowadays. Due to the pandemic, it may seem that these new kinds of methods are worse compared to the ones we are used to but several studies can prove the opposite.The University Hospital Würzburg (UKW) has adapted to these kinds of changes. Every specialist training was formed to fit the necessary changes during the pandemic. It was not easy to keep up good practical education with the correct distance measurement, open windows for fresh air every 45 minutes or an FFP2 mask for protection. The rest of the close to 190 trainings held in the rooms of the academy of the UKW had to be cancelled or cut down to a group size allowed. Most of the known digital teaching and learning system that were installed at that time remained and are in use.

Postgraduate Training: eLogbook, Entrustable Professional Activities & Co.

The transformation of time-bound and procedure-oriented specialist medical postgraduate training towards a competency-based approach (competency-based medical education, CBME) has been demanded for several years. Many frameworks, like the CANMEDs (Canadian Medical Education Directives for Specialists) describe competencies that should be acquired by each physician. In Germany, the medical council has recently obligated a competency-based postgraduate training. Although the idea of CBME emphasizes the learning process at the working place, CBME has also been criticized to be too theoretical and detached from the clinical working practice. To close this gap, the concept of Entrustable Professional Activities (EPA) has been introduced. An EPA describes concrete clinical tasks that are successively entrusted to the trainee. The decision to entrust a task is supported by the sum of workplace-based assessments.Sustainable implementation of competency-based training requires close collaboration among all involved individuals and institutions. Furthermore, continuous feedback and open dialogue are crucial for identifying challenges and areas for improvement. The success of CBME hinges on the collective effort of all stakeholders to create a framework to enhance specialty training and an overall advancement in the field. This cooperative approach is essential to successfully translate the theoretical foundations of competency-based teaching into clinical practice and ensure high-quality specialty training.

Study of the usage of STEM technologies in the context of training Ukrainian teachers of computer science in accordance with the social needs and challenges of today

Abstract The article discusses the use of STEM technologies in the training of competitive specialists to meet social needs and challenges in the context of the war in Ukraine. The authors analyse the theoretical foundations and the impact of the STEM approach on modern education, focusing on the introduction of STEM technologies in the process of teaching future computer science teachers. The significance of STEM education as an important trend due to its natural science component and innovative technologies is discussed. The key components of the model of teacher training in STEM are identified, such as target, content, activity, evaluation and result. In order to verify the proposed model, an experimental study was conducted to determine the indicators of students’ attitude towards STEM technologies. The necessity of ensuring a high level of teacher qualification for the effective formation of STEM knowledge and skills, as well as solving practical problems of various levels of complexity, is substantiated. The article determines how modern STEM technologies can meet social needs and challenges, especially in times of war. The authors aimed to identify strategies and approaches for the effective use of STEM technologies in education, which will ensure the competitiveness of Ukrainian specialists.

The formation of visual thinking of students in technical universities in the context of higher mathematics education

Abstract The visualisation of teaching higher mathematics as a development of information and communication technologies determines the transition of the educational process to a new level of its development. As a result, it should focus on the visual orientation and modern practice of its use. The question arises as to the formation of students’ visual thinking as a necessary component of the training of a modern specialist. In this context, a study has been conducted on the problem of using visual information and its visual perception in teaching higher mathematics on the example of individual sections, as well as techniques of justification based on visual information. The examples offered in the article form the skills of working with graphic information. Developing visual thinking, they fix attention during the learning process, implicitly and indirectly contributing to the conversion of mental content into a visual image, ensuring the formation of a more complete picture of an image or concept. The article analyses the results of using visualisation in the educational process of students of technical universities. The influence of visualisation on the level of students’ knowledge is analysed. In particular, the ability of a certain contingent of students to perceive and use visual images, their ability to think and express thoughts in images, perceive the content of logic, emotions contained in visual information, as well as the ability to operate with visual images in communication, establish cause and effect relationships and relations between concepts, as well as memorise and reproduce ideas about objects is noted.

Подготовка медицинских специалистов Всероссийской службы медицины катастроф на современном этапе: проблемы, задачи и основные направления её дальнейшего совершенствования

Summary. The purpose of the study is to analyze the problems, tasks and determine the main directions for further improvement of the training of medical specialists of the All-Russian Disaster Medicine Service (VSMK, Service) at the present stage. Materials and methods of the study. The materials of the study are regulatory legal acts, documentation and sources on the issues of training of VSMK personnel. Research methods are an analytical method and a generalization method. Research results and their analysis. The tasks and problems of training medical specialists of the All-Russian Disaster Medicine Service at the present stage are presented, the directions for its further improvement are determined taking into account new challenges and threats to the security of our country. It is noted that the modern conditions for training medical specialists of the Service are characterized by the level of their readiness for medical support of armed conflicts, which is due to the current stage of development of the system of medical support for the wounded, sick and victims. Various aspects of training medical specialists of the All-Russian Disaster Medicine Service are considered taking into account the experience of their participation in medical evacuation support of the said contingents in the context of the Special Military Operation (SMO), etc.

Retrospective analysis of the problem of training information security specialists

It is advisable to analyze scientific research in any field in retrospect of the issue under consideration, to correlate modern problems with its historical prerequisites and on the basis of this to trace possible trends in its development. Retrospective analysis is one of the main scientific methods for conducting historiographical analysis. The article examines the chronology of events in the field of training specialists in information protection, which allowed us to identify six stages of the formation and development of this problem in pedagogical science and practice, to determine the features and main directions of training future specialists in the field of information protection in Russia and abroad, identifying correspondences in the development of the national information protection system and the content of modern training of specialists. Based on the conducted retrospective analysis, it was revealed that the change in the requirements for ensuring information security is due to the level of development of information technologies, and the stages of training specialists are related to the real situation of their demand in the process of ensuring information security.

Professionally oriented tasks for learning and using mapping technology with ArcGIS tools

Abstract The article substantiates the expediency of using professionally oriented tasks for learning the technology of the mapping process using ArcGIS, taking into account the peculiarities of the training specialists of natural sciences. Socio-economic mapping by means of ArcGIS is an important step for creating management systems to support decision-making by future geographers and others. The main aspects of the introduction of professionally oriented tasks into the educational process of pedagogical institutions of higher education have been clarified. Educational and methodological guidelines for studying and using the technology of mapping with ArcGIS tools have been developed for students and future geographers who expect to perform professionally oriented tasks in the development of maps. For the practical preparation and development of a series of maps that provide visual information for an objective analysis of Ukraine’s indicators, we used information from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the Main Statistical Offices of Ukrainian regions. A series of maps, created by different methods and connected by one topic, was prepared and developed, among them the creation of a cartogram of the population of the regions of Ukraine using the method of quantitative background. An experimental verification of the effectiveness of the use of professionally oriented tasks for the study and use of mapping technology by means of ArcGIS by future teachers-geographers proved an increase in the level of development according to the specified criteria: motivational, cognitive and personal-reflective with the corresponding indicators. The mapping approaches presented in this paper based on the implementation of professionally oriented tasks allow students to apply the acquired knowledge and skills and give them the opportunity to flexibly adapt to situations arising in the future professional activity of a geographer.

THE ROLE OF SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL DISCOURSE IN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF SCIENTIFIC LANGUAGETRAINING OF ENGINEERS

In this article the content analysis of the concept “scientific and technical discourse” is carried out and various aspects of this concept are systematized. Based on foreign and domestic practices, the main components that characterize scientific and technical discourse as a separate category have been revealed. The key characteristics and properties of scientific and technical discourse are identified, the knowledge and use of which will ensure successful communication in the scientific and technical environment. The specific influence of the identified characteristics on the effectiveness of scientific training has been clarified, since their correct use can significantly increase the quality of language education and training of technical specialists as a whole, improve their professional knowledge and language skills, as well as make them more competitive in the labor market.This scientific work is the result of research obtained in the process of project implementation “Intensification of scientific and professional language training of technical specialists in the context of digital transformation of education” (IRN AP19678460) by the grant funding of Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The increasing demand for graduates of secondary vocational education for the aerospace industry in the region in connection with changes in the labor market leads to the need to improve the training of specialists in order to meet the long-term needs of society. The article examines the current state of staffing of enterprises of the aerospace industry in the region, the features of the aerospace industry that determine the requirements for training specialists. The purpose of the study was to identify the problems of forming an organizational and economic mechanism for training personnel for enterprises, a conceptual model of practice-oriented training of specialists was considered, an analysis of the requests and expectations of students in secondary vocational education programs was carried out to study aspects of building an educational trajectory.

Use of interactive electronic educational video resources for professional training of specialists

The article proves the relevance and main tasks of using interactive electronic educational video resources for the professional training of specialists. The classification and features of interactive electronic educational video resources for the professional training of specialists are presented. The content and features of creating an educational video are disclosed, and their role in the training of specialists is disclosed, the advantages of using video in the educational process during distance education are shown. The significance of using interactive electronic educational video resources for preserving the continuity of education and the possibility of participants' communication in the educational process through platforms, e-mail, messengers (Telegram, Viber, etc.), video conferences, etc., is shown. The importance and advantages of mobile applications for the professional training of specialists with the aim of effective support and learning motivation in the educational process conditions have been proven. Recommendations are offered that can be useful for developing and using interactive electronic educational video resources from various disciplines. The analysis of the results of the conducted pedagogical experiment allows us to state that the use of interactive electronic educational video resources for the professional training of students in real life is indispensable in the modern educational process.

Professional Values of a Modern Teacher as the Basis for Ensuring the Quality of Education During War Conditions

The article substantiates the relevance of the problem, provides a theoretical analysis of scientific sources on the concepts of “values” and “professional values of a modern teacher,” and defines their role in ensuring the quality of higher education during wartime. It was found that teaching in wartime has become a challenge for all the participants in the educational process and a real test for higher education institutions, which enable young people to receive not only knowledge but also psychological support, and maintain a sense of belonging to the Ukrainian community. Ukrainian educators demonstrate lessons of resilience, struggle, and victory to the world daily. Due to their work, Ukrainian youth can continue learning despite numerous challenges and threats. Ensuring access to quality education at all levels has become a priority of state educational policy. This direction includes creating conditions for continuous learning, developing new models of the educational process, supporting teachers and students, and providing access to innovative technologies and educational materials. It is emphasized that the professional values of teachers have gained particular significance in Ukraine's higher education system. Their activities during the war focus on training specialists who uphold and affirm the values of Ukrainian statehood. Teachers not only educate the new generation but also strengthen belief in the future, inspiring active citizenship, readiness to defend their values, and build a peaceful society. Conclusions are drawn that the modern teacher possesses values that determine the success of their professional activities and ensure the quality of higher education. The main values include: respect for the dignity and rights of higher education students, academic integrity, continuous professional growth, innovation and creativity, collaboration and partnership, empathy, and social responsibility; determination, etc. It is worth noting that emotional resilience and balance are crucial for teachers working in wartime conditions.
