Problem statement. Today the problem of reuse of materials is important. One of such waste used car tires is crumb rubber. It has received the greatest application in road construction, for the improvement of the territories of sports playgrounds, in the repair of bridges and pipelines, therefore it is relevant to determine the possibility of using this material in modern construction. Recycled rubber panel is a highly efficient sound insulation material with relatively good mechanical properties. These properties allow it to use in a variety of lightweight structures as a material that enhances structural sound insulation and reduces vibration. The article is devoted to the issue of increasing the level of sound insulation in wall structures of panel type, made with the use of crumb rubber. Indeed, one of the most important criteria for assessing quality in the design of residential buildings is to provide residents with acoustically comfortable conditions. To solve the problem, an analysis of the effect of panel density on the sound insulation index value was carried out. The installation structure of soundproof panels during the experiment is illustrated. The results of determining the level of sound insulation depending on the density of the panel made using crumb rubber were compared and presented in diagrams for each group separately. The purpose of the article is to analyze the properties of crumb rubber and the possibility of using it in construction, as well as to investigate the effect of the density of panels made with the use of this material on the magnitude of the overall sound insulation of the structure. Conclusion. Based on the obtained results of the experiment and measurement data, it was concluded that the density significantly affects the sound insulation index. With increasing density, the sound insulation properties of the wall structure increase.
