Основные направления оптимизации процесса ресоциализации российских офицеров, уволенных в запас

This article investigates the key problems and suggestions for improving the process of officers’ adaptation to civilian life after military service. The theoretical part of the study examines the specifics of the socio-psychological state of officers, the regulatory and legal framework for resocialization, as well as international experience in this field. The analysis is based on three research directions: studying the challenges of transitioning to civilian life, identifying shortcomings in current resocialization programs, and evaluating proposals for their optimization. Obtained results indicate that for successful adaptation of officers it is necessary to pay special attention to the improvement of professional retraining programs, financial support, as well as information and organizational assistance. The author concludes that it is necessary to adapt international experience to Russian conditions and proposes specific directions for enhancing resocialization programs in Russia.

User-Type Differential Paths for a Media Effect Model: A Test of Self-Regulation Deficiency in Drama Watching for Different Motive-Driven Users

ABSTRACT Media users are not homogeneous, and research that treats them as such tends to yield inconsistent findings. More nuanced insights into media effect processes might emerge from an identification of qualitatively distinct subgroups, for whom unique media effect processes lead to distinctive outcomes as well. Building on an existing differential susceptibility to media effects model, the current research adds the possibility of differential paths defined by user types. In this revised model, the triggers (e.g. individual characteristics) that lead to media effects and their outcomes (e.g. sociopsychological states) vary across different groups of media users. In the context of problematic drama watching, as a type of media effect, panel data gathered from a representative sample and a latent class analysis reveal that drama viewers can be grouped into types, according to the distinct constellations of motives they have for watching. Individual characteristics identified for such groups can lead to problematic drama watching and associated negative outcomes in the future, which also vary with the types of viewers. The findings affirm that the distinct processes linked to each viewer type correspond well with their distinctive motives.

Socio-Psychological State of Russian Society and Social Attitudes of Different Groups of Russians

The article analyses the socio-psychological state of the Russian society from the point of view of mainly subjective indicators, which can be considered as characteristics of the national psychological capital. The main subject of the study is social moods (emotional states) of the country's citizens, which are formed by the life situation of Russians in general. The analysis of the data of the all-Russian survey conducted in June 2023 by the Institute of Sociology of FNISC RAS leads to the conclusion that after the extremely negative changes at the beginning of the last year (immediately after the beginning of the SWO) the emotional state of Russians began to improve. Nevertheless, at the time of the analysed poll, the ratio of positively and negatively disposed citizens remained one of the worst for the entire period since 2014. The bulk of Russians (almost half of the country's residents) are in an anxious state. At the same time, the society is characterised by too small a share (only 3% - the lowest in the past ten years of observations) of those who experience emotional uplift. At the same time, the share of Russians with extremely negative feelings of well-being has fallen within the norm usual for Russian society in the last decade. In 2023, we observe an overlap of factors traditional for post-Soviet Russia that form negative social moods with situational factors related to the SWO in Ukraine. Thus, the most negative social moods (irritation, bitterness and aggression) are primarily formed among Russians with poor self-assessments of their financial situation, expectation of its deterioration in the near future, serious problems related to work, and, finally, a change in attitude towards the course pursued by the country's leadership. In its turn, anxiety is especially promoted by changes related to social ties in the close circle of communication: departure of relatives and friends abroad, deterioration of relations due to disagreements in the attitude towards the SWO. Increased anxiety is also observed among those who have faced the threat of mobilisation, whose relatives and friends have been killed or injured during participation in special operation, who have felt an increase in current expenses, as well as reduced opportunities for foreign travel. It should be stated that Russians have experienced the emergence of new frustrations, rather than the deepening of previously existing frustrations. If we consider the socio-psychological state of Russian society as an important resource for its development, then we can conclude that in 2023 the satisfactory state of national material resources (economists predict GDP growth of 2-3% by the end of the year) is combined with a very alarming state of intangible resources (primarily, the national psychological capital), which does not allow us to talk about the socio-economic well-being of Russians.

OPTIMIZATION OF THE SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL CLIMATE OF THE COLLECTIVE IN THE CONDITIONS OF WAR

The article discusses modern approaches to defining the concept of social and psychological climate. It has been established that in the conditions of military tension, the socio-psychological state of a person undergoes a destructive effect on the personality, which can be accompanied by long-term depression, anxiety disorders, the formation of post-traumatic stress syndrome, a decrease in work capacity, and a lack of interest in professional development and growth.The main approaches to defining the concepts of «influence» and «informational social influence» have been analyzed. A theoretical analysis of the concept as a process and result of an individual’s change in the behavior of another person, his attitudes, intentions, ideas, assessments, etc. in the process of interaction with him, was carried out. And the ways of using informational social influence in the context of the constructive and destructive effect of informational social influence on the individual in the conditions of war are analyzed.It has been established that informational influence can be manipulative in nature, which in turn will reflect on the mental, social and psychological well-being of Ukrainians.The mechanism of the influence of information manipulation, which can manifest itself in the form of propaganda, provocation, disinformation, intimidation, is revealed, and the place and role of constructive communication in the process of counteracting manipulative influence is defined. A theoretical analysis of the concept of «isolation» was carried out. It was determined that this is a protective mechanism that removes associative connections when the threat of danger is perceived.It was established that the social isolation of the individual in the collective makes support, empathy, and mutual understanding impossible in critical situations and in situations of uncertainty. And this, in turn, can increase the feeling of constant danger, excessive excitement, panic attacks, problems in relationships, the inability to express and show one’s feelings and experiences. On the basis of theoretical analysis, it was determined that the role of the leader is actualized in the conditions of martial law, because the situation that has developed requires him to be flexible in thinking and speed of decision-making, objectivity of reactions to external challenges in conditions of changeable situations and limited resources.We see the prospects for further research in the diagnosis of the current state of the social and psychological climate in the collectives of educational institutions, and in the search for optimal ways to solve the problem.The role of the team and the leader in the formation of a favorable social and psychological climate is characterized.

The functioning of society is associated with a variety of threats and risks, which, in turn, determine the emergence of anxiety, anxiety, and fear. Tracking the dynamics of quantitative and qualitative indicators of such conditions during periods of economic crises, political and military conflicts, natural and man-made disasters, and pandemics is especially relevant. This article presents the authors’ theoretical substantiation of fear as a sociopsychological state of the individual. Also, based on the systematization of the results of empirical sociological research, analysis of the state, structure, and dynamics of collective and individual fears of the population of Ukraine in the period of independence 1992–2021 was carried out.

MEASURES NECESSARY TO IMPROVE THE SOCIO-PSYCHOLOGICAL STATE OF THE ELDERLY

In this article the measures necessary to improve the socio-psychological state of the elderly are considered. The article focuses on the main issues and problems of aging, such as the reduction of social ties, changes in interpersonal and family relationships, issues of providing life, that is, problems that have their own influence and impact on social activity. Particular attention is paid to improving the targeting of social services for lonely elderly people. Attention is paid to the issues of social and psychological adaptation of elderly people, which is currently relevant for society as a whole, and the strategic task of gerontopsychology lies in its solution. It is the development and practical application of the results of gerontopsychology research that should be introduced into state programs of social support, social services, and ensuring active longevity of the elderly. Based on the versatility of the problems and issues of older people, the article focuses on the importance and necessity of teamwork of gerontologists, psychologists, social and medical workers, psychiatrists and other specialists, the development of the Institute of Gerontology and Family Psychology. The data of studies both conducted by the author and conducted on her initiative are provided. Conclusions are made and recommendations are given on the measures necessary to improve the social and psychological state of the elderly.

Особенности самоидентификация молодежи Хабаровского края в условиях специальной военной операции

The article presents analysis of the phenomenon of self-identification of youth of the Khabarovsk territory in the context of special military operation to demilitarize and denazify Ukraine (SMO, special operation). Based on the results of monitoring sociological studies, hypotheses of the relative impact of special operation on the self-identification of young people in the Khabarovsk territory are being tested. It is shown that against the background of SMO, young people demonstrate generally stable socio-psychological state, although part of it expresses a certain concern and anxiety with these events. The results of analysis of the impact of special military operation on changing the youth consciousness in terms of choosing authoritative personalities and leaders for themselves confirmed a high level of confidence in the Russian President V.V. Putin as a person who is able to influence its behavior and be a guide in life. It is justified that young people with the Far-Eastern and Russian type of self-identification are more involved in the provision of humanitarian assistance to the residents of Donbass, Russian servicemen and volunteers in the zone of the SMO, more often support the decision to conduct special military operation and have fewer acquaintances (regarding the global type of self-identification) who left for another country for permanent residence due to the start of special operation. The results of research and the main conclusions can be used to update state and municipal projects (programs) aimed at increasing the level of conscious and responsible self-identification of youth and the further development of youth policy in the Khabarovsk Territory.

Socio-psychological well-being of students: Results of a sociological survey

The article presents the results of empirical studies of students aimed at identifying the socio-psychological state of students as a consequence of the transformation of the educational process under the influence of new social conditions of life. The authors conducted a questionnaire survey of 653 bachelor students studying at the Faculty of Law at Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2022. The respondents answered the questions anonymously. The results of the analysis allowed us to conclude that young people experience a number of psychological difficulties caused by adaptation to the new conditions of life, the breakdown of real communication ties and global social instability. The analysis of the empirical data showed that the most pronounced are the students’ fears related to the sociopolitical situation in the world. Also, a significant part of the students are worried about future employment, career prospects and the prospects of the economic crisis. The result of the article is recommendations for the educational institutions to work with students, which can help to stabilize their psychological condition and help during the adaptation to the new educational and social conditions.

The impact of self-isolation on the socio-psychological state of a person: research results

Based on the analysis of the results of the survey conducted by the authors through a service such as Google Forms, some aspects of the impact of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic on the socio-psychological state of a person are considered. The sample of respondents can be described as spontaneous. The age of respondents in the range from 14 to 71 years, these are residents of different states, localities, differing in the nature of leading activities and social status. However, the results of the study demonstrate that place, age, status and other characteristics are not crucial in terms of socio-psychological well-being during the pandemic. Among the main problems faced by the population in the conditions of the pandemic are limited contacts and movement, difficulties with the organization of school-age children’s studies, loss of work and reduced income, fear for their health and the health of loved ones.

Teaching English to First-year Students in Russia: Addressing the Challenges of Distance Learning

(1) The aim of this study is to investigate the psychological climate in first-year students’ academic groups in Russia after they experienced the period of distance learning at the initial stage of university studies (due to the COVID-19 pandemic) and to find out how different it is compared with the academic groups of first-year students whose university studies were not influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic. (2) Methods: Mixed quantitative and qualitative methods were applied to collect data using A. N. Lutoshkin’s questionnaire with closed-ended questions. The questionnaire determines the psychological climate in students’ academic groups. (3) Results: The results of the study reveal considerable differences in the psychological climate of the investigated groups. The findings suggest that the students whose university studies were not influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic considered their academic groups to have more mutual understanding, a greater desire to cooperate with other teams, a better mood in the team, a greater desire to participate in the joint affairs, etc., in comparison with the students who experienced a period of distance learning at the initial stage of their studies. (4) Conclusions: The transition to distance learning allows students to continue their studies under epidemiological restrictions. However, the factors affecting the speed of the adaptation of first-year students in distance learning and the determination of the degree of their influence on the socio-psychological state of the students remain insufficiently studied. This study contributes to the field by defining the peculiarities of the psychological climate in first-year students’ academic groups after they experienced a period of distance learning at the initial stage of university studies. It also specifies how the psychological climate is different from the academic groups of first-year students who were taught in a traditional format. As psychological climate plays a crucial role for EFL instruction, measures must be taken to ease the first-year students’ adaptation process while studying online.

Применение информационно-коммуникационных технологий для анализа социально-психологических особенностей восприятия дистанционного обучения студентами вузов

The article is devoted to the analysis of the socio-psychological characteristics of the perception of distance learning by university students in the context of the increasing use of distance learning technologies, including during the pandemic. In the course of the study, a questionnaire was developed to identify the assessment of students’ perception of various factors associated with distance learning, and an Internet survey of university students in Omsk and Norilsk was conducted, the sample size was 188 respondents. 
 Analysis of the results of the survey allows us to conclude that 16% of students highly appreciate the importance of the factor of negative influence on the psychological state of distance learning students and more than 32% of respondents note the importance of the lack of “live” communication for them. In addition, 28.4% of students rated at 4 and 5 points on a 5-point system the importance for them of problems with self-organization in distance learning. Based on the results of the study, proposals were developed aimed at minimizing the negative impact on the socio-psychological state of students in distance learning.

Socio-psychological adaptation and communication of children of Primary School age according to the system “Healthy Education – Healthy Nation”

The state strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the field of education provides for the implementation of measures to protect and strengthen children’s physical and mental health, their socialization and the harmonious development of the individual. Despite this, the state of health of modern schoolchildren is of extreme concern, since there is a steady unfavourable trend associated with the intensification of school workload, limitation of physical activity, the introduction of digital technologies in the educational process, and insufficient pedagogical competence of teachers and parents. Taking into account the above problems, in 2014 the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan launched the Healthy Education – Healthy Nation project, within which health-saving technologies are being introduced. The main goals of the project are to create conditions for physical development and prevention of school diseases; productive socio-psychological environment, integrative form of education, conditions for successful socialization of schoolchildren. During the school year, specialists conduct constant monitoring and diagnostics of students, organize social events that contribute to the formation of a healthy lifestyle and social skills, as well as the work to improve the pedagogical culture of parents. The aim of the project is to develop healthy educational technologies that serve to protect the physical and mental health of children and adolescents; to apply healthy educational technologies (classroom design and equipment, ensuring children's physical activity, medical and psychological control over their development, use of integrative and problem-based learning methodology), to assess advantages and gaps and to improve them; to contribute to the creation of a learning environment that will ensure the formation of national moral values in children and adolescents. The purpose of our study is a comparative assessment of the health and socio-psychological state of students in the "Healthy Education" classes with students of traditional classes, as well as an assessment of their school motivation.

Psychological State of a Person as A Factor Assessment of The Prenosological Level of Public Health

The article shows the development of a continuous functioning technology for remote automated monitoring of the sociopsychological state of the population to determine the prenosological level of individual health, which allows to optimize medical non-invasive mass screening of the population. The technologies and their implementation are shown to ensure functioning with the use of information and communication technologies, mobile communications, methods of automated remote exchange, accumulation, storage of information, as well as with the involvement of medical knowledge, mathematical models and algorithms for their data mining socio-psychological state population, development and implementation of preventive measures, which are effective mechanisms to ensure health of the healthy people’s.

Social impacts of COVID-2019 in China

The article presents the results of a descriptive and analytical study of scientific works by Chinese authors on the social consequences of COVID-2019 in China. Using the methods of content analysis, classification and systematization, the author of the article identified the role of the COVID-2019 pandemic in Chinese society, identified the main directions for studying its impact in sociological science. As a result of the study, it was revealed that the social impact of the COVID-2019 pandemic is reduced to the formation of a new type of risk society, changes in the social spheres of education and healthcare, the socio-psychological state of Chinese society, the formation of new social trends in consumption, the aggravation of the unemployment problem in the country, the transformation values ​​of student youth, as well as an increase in the gap in the social well-being of rural and urban areas. The identified social consequences of COVID-2019 serve as the basis for the subsequent development of a social policy for the socio-economic recovery of the country in the post-pandemic period.

Psychological security of the individual in the social processes of career growth

The problem of ensuring psychological health in the process of building a career and professional growth is a significant task of scientific and practical work. Automation of business processes dictates the restructuring of not only the structure and data flows, but also imposes increased requirements on the security and stability of the employee's working condition. A person as a member of a team or an independent unit in different periods of the life cycle may experience adverse effects of sociodynamics. A feature of scientific analysis is the consideration of the problem within the framework of career growth, that is, dynamically deploying the labor process in an organization with a lot of incoming and outgoing data. The concept of "restraining mechanisms" is proposed as a way to protect the individual from the destructive phenomena of modern business on the psychological health of a person. Deterrent mechanisms are socio–psychological states, properties and processes of ensuring psychological, social, financial, mental and other security. These include the transition from one social class to another or reaching a new socio-professional and material-economic level as a result of changing jobs, the accumulation of a "critical mass" of experience that allows you to make transitions to new places of work, the acquisition of new experience of social interaction, a new level of opportunities in overcoming geographical distances, the ability to form a balance in terms of time and effort for work activities and personal time, reflection on oneself and the ongoing social processes, finding new contacts with the old former circle of communication, finding a new picture of the world, etc. Thus, the aspects of psychological security of the individual in the processes of career development are shown and the directions of its formation are proposed.

Features of Adaptation of Ukrainian Refugees in the EU, Great Britain, USA, and Canada

Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine has resulted in tens of thousands of deaths, destruction of cities and towns, homes and infrastructure. The constant threat is a consequence of the large flow of refugees who are forced to leave the country in search of security and asylum. European Union countries, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada have accepted those fleeing the war and provided temporary protection. The relevance of the study consists in the identification of ways for assistance and benefits conferred, which are aimed at adapting and supporting Ukrainian refugees. The purpose of this paper is to study the features of adaptation of Ukrainian refugees in the EU, Great Britain, USA, and Canada, the socio-psychological state of refugees during the adaptation period, to compare the concepts of “refugee” and “person in need of temporary protection”, the characteristics of the social assistance package for Ukrainian refugees. The methods used to investigate the topic are: comparative, legal recognition, logical and legal method, hermeneutical method, analysis, etc. The results of this study are a comparison of the main concepts, including: “refugee”, “person in need of temporary protection”, characteristics of Ukrainian and international laws and regulations on refugee protection issues, clarification of the features of adaptation of Ukrainian refugees in the EU countries, Great Britain, USA, and Canada, psychological aspects of refugee adaptation, comparative analysis of social assistance and benefits for refugees between EU countries, Great Britain, USA, and Canada, processing statistics to compare the number of refugees between countries that provide asylum and protection. The provisions presented in this paper reveal the current problems of adaptation of Ukrainian refugees in the EU, Great Britain, USA, and Canada and may be useful for further study

ОПЫТ ВНЕДРЕНИЯ СИСТЕМЫ СОЦИАЛЬНО-ПСИХОЛОГИЧЕСКОГО ТЕСТИРОВАНИЯ СТУДЕНТОВ КОЛЛЕДЖА

The article presents the results of approbation of one of the solutions for digitalization of educational service activities in organizations of secondary vocational education using new evaluation tools of socio-psychological diagnosis. The article describes a potential tool for the effective formation of preventive and corrective measures in determining the main directions of educational work with students and for the promotion of students' adaptation to the conditions of education in the secondary vocational education institutions. The tool for creating a digital trace of the socio-psychological state of students in secondary vocational education institutions is proposed.

Место и роль науки в местных сообществах тюркских республик Сибири

In this article, we want to reveal the dynamics of attitudes towards science, the profession of scientist and socio-humanitarian knowledge in the local communities of the South Siberian republics (Khakassia, Altai, and Tyva). The empirical basis of the analysis is the results of quantitative and qualitative sociological field research conducted by the author in the first half of the 2000s. Because of the analysis of research literature and interview texts, we established the finding of several important points. First, the prestige of science as a social institution, including its socio-humanitarian domains and the profession of a scientist has decreased. Second, science nevertheless retains its role as an important channel for social mobility, especially for the replenishment of the national intelligentsia. Third, if we 16А.М. Аблажей Turkic Studies Journal 3 (2022) 7-16are talking about the position of regional authorities, it is characterized by a predominantly utilitarian approach to science and its results: science, in fact, plays a supporting role. Finally, there is a clear trend towards the reproduction of the regional humanitarian intelligentsia at the expense of people from other social strata. An important result of the study is the conclusion about a more favorable socio-psychological state of representatives of regional scientific communities, which is associated, among other things, with maintaining respect for education, for educated people in societies that have relatively recently embarked on the path of social modernization.
