Migration is a universal name given to people moving from one place to another due to economic, social, political and cultural reasons. Considering population trends in recent years, the population is moving not only from the big cities as are the first years of urbanization, but also from abroad toward the countries because of various reasons. It is a chaotic phenomenon that contains many differences (gender, age, education, ethnicity, belief, etc.) in migration. Therefore, countries or cities that can respond to these differences can create social awareness.Particularly recent migrations lead social, economic, and political problems that grow like an avalanche in our country. This study is limited to the case of migration. Concept of immigration, management and management of differences (cultural conflict, employment and labor force, urban management) are examined in the study. From the perspective of managing diversity, the fact that immigration is not properly managed bring with it a number of adversities (theft, extortion, anarchy and social problems) in terms of countries and cities. Therefore, the most important step of this process is the turn of these migrants with different characteristics into the benefit of country and urban by taking into account the differences. The proper management of the immigration phenomenon is possible with the local elements’ decisions from the macro, micro and political point of view. Immigration is an integral action that is important and necessary in this context. For this reason, the migration phenomenon has been evaluated from sociological point of view and suggestions have been made.
