In Mexico, social networks became key tools for teaching digital marketing in Social Communication. They facilitated the creation and analysis of campaigns, promoting practical skills and digital competences. In addition, they allowed the active participation of young people in educational political communication, favouring debate and democratic engagement. The aim of this research is to analyse the dynamics of the discussion on educational policies in Mexico in the social network environment as part of political communication. The methodology obeyed to a systematic bibliographic review in databases of indexed scientific journals of the last 5 years to know the state of the art about the new digital spaces around political communication on educational issues. The findings suggest that these digital channels have become a fundamental space for different stakeholders to debate, disseminate information and promote citizen participation in educational issues.
