The article determines that the largest influence on the GDP per capita of Ukraine is exerted by the indicator of realized Internet services. This proves the fact that today the consumption of information and communication services plays a leading role in the economic growth of the country. And therefore, there is an opportunity not only to influence the growth of GDP by creating conditions of a technical and informational and communication nature, but also to determine the prerequisites for the growth of national income based on the study of consumer needs and their transformations in the conditions of digitalization. In accordance with the concept of sustainable development, the indicator of the usefulness of information needs is not their volume and the desire of economic subjects to use them, but the characteristics of reliability, completeness, accuracy, novelty, efficiency.
