SIMULATION ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF GOVERNMENT MINIMUM EXPENDITURE AND WAGE EXPENDITURE IN THE SIMULTANEOUS INDUSTRIAL SECTOR MODEL OF DKI JAKARTA PROVINCE

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of increasing expenditure and increasing the minimum wage of the government in the simultaneous model of the industrial sector of DKI Jakarta province. The estimation model in the simultaneous model of the industrial sector of DKI province uses the 2 SLS (Two-Stage Least Squares) method. The simulation results of a 10% increase in the expenditure of the provincial government of DKI has resulted in an increase of investment of 4.72%, production growth of 0.19%, employment of 0.17%, an increase in production costs by 0.24%, and company profits increased by 0.10%. On the other hand, the simulation results of a 10% increase in the provincial minimum wage has resulted in a decrease in labor absorption by 0.55%, a decrease in production in the industrial sector has resulted in 0.21%, a decrease in investment by 0.07%, and a decrease in production costs by 0.04%.

AS1411 Aptamer-Anionic Linear Globular Dendrimer G2-Iohexol Selective Nano-Theranostics

Molecular theranostics is of the utmost interest for diagnosis as well as treatment of different malignancies. In the present study, anionic linear globular dendrimer G2 is employed as a suitable carrier for delivery and AS1411 aptamer is exploited as the targeting agent to carry Iohexol specifically to the human breast cancer cells (MCF-7). Dendrimer G2 was prepared and conjugation of dendrimer and aptamer was carried out thereafter. Based on the data yielded by AFM, morphology of smooth and spherical non-targeted dendrimer changed to the rough aspherical shape when it conjugated. Then, conjugation was confirmed using DLS, ELS and SLS methods. Toxicity on nucleolin positive MCF-7 cells and nucleolin negative HEK-293 cells was assessed by XTT and apoptosis/necrosis assays. In vitro uptake was determined using DAPI-FITC staining and ICP-MS methods. In vivo studies including in vivo CT imaging, pathology and blood tests were done to confirm the imaging ability, bio-safety and targeted nature of the Nano-Theranostics in vivo. In a nutshell, the prepared construction showed promising effects upon decreasing the toxicity of Iohexol on normal cells and accumulation of it in the cancer tumors as well as reducing the number of cancer cells.

Manufacturing of aircraft engine transmission gear with SLS (DMLS) method

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to present the methodology for manufacturing of aircraft transmission gears using incremental method of rapid prototyping (RP) – direct metal laser sintering (DMLS). The production of prototypes from metallic powders using described system allows the execution of final elements of complex structures with additional economic impacts.

Related to Agricultural Research, Distribution of Income and Agricultural Value Added

Agricultural Research is one of the most important factors in agricultural development, thus, the role and importance of research is increasing. Within the past years, all developed and consequently developing countries have engaged their most attention to promote their researches indexes. This study is investigating the effect of agricultural research on the distribution of income and agricultural value added in Iran, during the period of 1976 - 2012. Three SLS methods were used to determine the income distribution functions, value added and per capita income. The results showed that agricultural researches were effective on improvement of agricultural value added. The results also express that continuance in agricultural researches can increase per capita income and less inequality of income distribution. Effect of agricultural value added on inequality of income distribution was low but though increase in agricultural value added and decrease it.

Investigating the impact of drilled impellers design of rotodynamic pumps on the efficiency of the energy transfer process

Drilled impellers represent an alternative approach to the construction of impellers of centrifugal pumps, operating within the specific speed of nq<10. Their construction is very simple and can be achieved by employing machining methods. This paper presents the impact of the basic construction parameters of drilled impellers on the efficiency of the process of energy transfer into liquid. The main focus is on testing the efficacy of using additional side holes. The main testing method involves computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations. The selected impeller constructions are made with the SLS (rapid prototyping) method and tested with a test rig. The paper presents a comparison of numerical and experimental results. Based on the obtained results the author makes recommendations on the construction of drilled impellers.

Investigating the impact of multi-piped impellers design on the efficiency of rotodynamic pumps operating at ultra-low specific speed

Multi-piped impellers (name proposed by the author) represent an innovative approach to the design of rotodynamic pumps operating at the specific speed of nq<10. In such a construction the energy increase is caused by the flow of liquid through the internal impeller passages as well as by an external flow around the passages, and sensible designing of such a construction is extremely difficult. The study investigates the impact of the basic construction parameters of a multi-pipe impeller on the efficiency of the process of energy transfer into liquid. The main research method involves computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations. The selected impeller constructions are made with the SLS (rapid prototyping) method and tested with a measurement stand. The paper presents the comparison of numerical and experimental results. Based on the obtained results the author makes recommendations on the construction of multi-piped impellers.

Scaffolds of PDLLA/bioglass 58S produced via selective laser sintering

Scaffolds of PDLLA were produced to be implemented in maxilofacial surgeries inducing bone repair and regeneration. To prepare these scaffolds, bioglass (BG58S) was synthesized by sol-gel method, in order to be applied as osteoconductive dispersed particles in PDLLA matrix. Once presenting greater facility on parts fabrication, this polymeric matrix enables complex geometries production besides presenting compatible degradation rate for scaffold absorption and bone regeneration. Scaffolds production was performed by selective laser sintering in order to obtain tailored-made parts. FTIR and XRD analyses were carried out to observe the composition and evaluate the presence of crystalized phases in bioglass, obtaining Wollastonite. SEM was used to observe the BG particle distribution in PDLLA matrix and flexural test was performed to evaluate the composite mechanical properties. Results showed that was possible to obtain pieces using SLS method and with addition of 10%wt BG to polymeric matrix, flexural modulus and strength increased regarding to pure polymer.

Hysteresis Modeling of the Porous Nitinol Delivery System, Designed and Fabricated By Sls Method

Abstract At report, we presented a common design and theoretical modelling scheme for a porous scaffold from nitinol with a shape memory effect (SME), fabricated by the selective laser sintering (SLS) process. The operation of the SME fluidic MEMS involves such physical process as heat transfer, phase transformation with temperature hysteresis, stress-strain and electrical resistance variations accompanying the phase transformation. This model can be used for an estimation of drug delivery system (DDS) route during a porous volume changing.

Physicochemical studies on the biopolymer inulin: a critical evaluation of its self-aggregation, aggregate-morphology, interaction with water, and thermal stability.

Physicochemical properties viz., aggregation, molar mass, shape, and size of chicory inulin in solution were determined by fluorimetry, DLS, SLS, TEM, and viscometry methods. The thermal stability of the biopolymer was examined by TGA, DTA, and DSC measurements. The water vapor adsorption of desiccated inulin was also studied by the isopiestic method, and the data were analyzed in the light of the BET equation. On the basis of the obstruction to ion conductance by the inulin aggregates in solution and analysis of the data, the extent of hydration of inulin in solution was estimated. The result was coupled with the intrinsic viscosity, [eta], of inulin to ascertain the shape of the biopolymer aggregates in aqueous solution. The critical aggregation concentration (cac) of inulin in aqueous as well as in salt solution was assessed by fluorimetry. The weight average molar mass, Mw , of inulin monomer and its aggregate was found to be 4468 and 1.03 x 10(6) g/mol, respectively, in aqueous solution. This aggregated mass was 2.4 x 10(6) g/mol in 0.5M NH(4)SCN solution. The [eta] values of the soft supramolecular aggregates in solution (without and with salt) were small and comparable with globular proteins evidencing spherical geometry of the biopolymer aggregates as supported by the TEM results. In DMSO, rod-like aggregates of inulin was found by the TEM study. The [eta] of the biopolymer in the DMSO medium was therefore, higher than that in the aqueous medium. Unlike aqueous medium, the aggregation in DMSO was not associated with a cac.

The characterization of poly‐Si thin film transistor crystallized by a new alignment SLS Process

In this paper, we investigated the SLS process to control grain boundary(GB) location in TFT channel region, and it has been found to be applicable for locating the GB at the same location in the channel region of each TFT. We fabricated TFT by applying a new alignment SLS process and compared the TFT characteristics with a normal SLS method and the grain boundary location controlled SLS method. Also, we have analysed degradation phenomena under hot carrier stress conditions for n‐type LDD MOSFETs.

Analysis of Characteristics in Poly-Si Thin Film Transistor Crystallized by a New Alignment SLS Process

In the conventional SLS crystallization method, we just perform a basic pre-align on the substrate stage and apply a whole substrate area scanning. Therefore, each TFT has different grain boundary(GB) location in channel region. The number of grain boundaries in channel also varies from one to two, which can cause non-uniform TFT characteristics and image quality deterioration of the panel. In this paper, we present work that has been carried out using the SLS process to control grain boundary(GB) location in TFT channel region and it is possible to locate the GB at the same location in the channel region of each TFT. We fabricated TFT by applying a new alignment SLS process and compared the TFT characteristics between a normal SLS method and the grain boundary location controlled SLS method.

Wlasciwosci roztworow oraz powlok prepolimerow polisiloksanouretanowych zawierajacych mikrozele

The solutions and coatings of microgels containing polysilox-aneurethane (PSU) prepolymers. This prepolymers were based on PUR made of various polyoxypropylenepolyols and isocyanates or oligosiloxanes containing hydroxyalkyl end groups (Table 1 and 2), were the subjects of investigations. Microgels content (by SLS method, Table 3), crosslinking process observation (by DLS, Fig. 1), molecular weights and molecular weight distributions (by SLS and SEC, Table 4) as well as the changes of PSU chemical structure (by FT-IR) were examined in the solutions. Shapes and dimensions of the structures observed in PSU coatings were evaluated using SAXS method (Figs. 4 and 5) and optical or electron microscopy. It has been found that the surface layer is twice silicon enriched in comparison with the subsurface layer. On the basis of rheological and mechanical properties investigations (Figs. 2,3 and 6) it was demonstrated that the coatings obtained from microgels containing PSU samples show higher loss modulus and storage modulus, in the whole range of vibration frequency, than made of microgels free samples. They also show stable damping, opposite to the last one. Stable damping cause better crack resistance of coatings exposed to deformations and vibrations

Preliminary studies with an SLS method for haemoglobin determination in three species

A commercially available sodium lauryl sulphate reagent was used to determine haemoglobin values in three species, and these values were compared with results obtained by a cyanmethaemoglobin method with the same haematology analyser. Correlation of the two methods was satisfactory for samples obtained from healthy rats and dogs. For mouse samples, the correlation between methods was poorer than for the other two species.
