What Should Students Learn and How Should Teachers Teach in the Age of Artificial Intelligence?

In the era of artificial intelligence, the traditional education model has been unable to meet the needs of students and society, and it is urgent to change and innovate. As an important branch of higher education, the traditional education model of the major in economics and management has some shortages, such as orientation in teachers, lack of individualized teaching, lack of practical ability, single evaluation system and lack of innovative thinking. Therefore, students of the major in economics and management should pay attention to improving technical literacy, innovative thinking, strategic analysis and practical ability. In order to realize the effective transformation of education, teachers of the major in economics and management should use artificial intelligence tools such as ChatGPT to enrich the teaching content and form, pay attention to students' individual needs and development goals, teach students in combination with their own knowledge and experience, to cultivate students' comprehensive quality and professional ability, taking students' actual employment needs into account, etc.

Research on the Reform of College Physical Education Teaching Mode in the New Era

Deepening the reform of physical education in colleges and universities, in the new era of college physical education reform, we face a series of practical difficulties, single teaching mode, imperfect teaching system, single evaluation system, etc., affect the development of physical education, and it is difficult to complete the set goals and tasks of physical education. For the problems existing in physical education teaching in colleges and universities, this paper analyzes the specific countermeasures for the reform of physical education teaching mode in colleges and universities, and provides some suggestions for the deepening reform of physical education teaching in the new era.

Purpose. The aim of the research is to develop fuzzy impact models of the natural and anthropogenic influence, which allows to integrate different physical factors, which makes it possible to bring them to a single environmental assessment system and comparison of different assessed areas. Methodology. The basis of the proposed modeling is a traditional approach on the development of such models, which includes conceptual, logical and physical modeling levels. The Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used for conceptual modeling level, which is recommended as the main modeling tool in the set of international standards in geographic information / geomatics and software that supports the interactive mode of UML diagrams creation Visio. The geospatial database and SQL-functions are implemented and the extension of the standard SQL-99 language with a new data type geometry and built-in functions which provides storage, processing and analysis of geospatial data in database management systems is used. The proposed models are realized in the environment of object-relational DBMS PostgreSQl / Postgis and geographic information system QGIS. Results. A review of the experience of using fuzzy logic to assess the state of the environment is done. Technological models for computation of indicators of administrative unit provision by social infrastructure objects, influence of greenery, industrial territories and transport on the environment are offered and realized. An example of approbation of the proposed approach based on OpenStreetMaps open data for the Popasnianskyi distinct of Luhansk region territory is given. Scientific novelty. Theoretical generalizations are made and practical results are received of resolving applied problem of the development of the fuzzy impact assessment model of various factors influence on the environment with use of GIS. Such assessment can be used at the stage of community spatial development strategies preparation to determine the most acceptable development version, as well as to unify the means of strategies implementation monitoring, organically linking local, national and global tasks. Practical significance. The application of the proposed approach of GRID modeling and fuzzy impact assessment use in assessing the quality of the environment allows to integrate different indicators, compare them, by bringing them into a single evaluation system.

Comprehensive Assessment of Smart Grids: Is There a Universal Approach?

A comprehensive assessment of smart grids is critical for their development. Existing scientific research testifies to the urgency and complexity of the problem of implementing smart grids effectively, both in terms of a single project performance and from the standpoint of creating a local, and later global, energy system. The multidimensionality of smart grids makes it challenging to assess the effectiveness of their implementation. Difficulties in evaluation arise because it is challenging to consider technical, technological, economic, and other relevant aspects of smart grids’ development within a single evaluation system. There are currently a significant number of smart grid assessment systems. However, it remains debatable how systematically and comprehensively they measure the efficiency of a smart grid. This, in turn, raises the question of whether there is a universal evaluation system that integrally considers all the crucial components of smart grids and is suitable for evaluating smart grid projects of different content. This article analyzes the most well-known approaches to comprehensive assessment of smart grids according to the completeness of their coverage of smart grids’ most critical components. This paper identifies the essential areas for assessing smart grids according to the most cited and authoritative research and regulatory documents of the European Union. As a result, seven groups of indicators were identified. These groups of indicators are the basis for comparative analysis of the comprehensive assessment approaches of smart grids. The results of the study should help determine the appropriateness of applying a particular evaluation system. In addition, the analysis of existing evaluation systems allows the shaping of a universal approach to evaluating smart grids comprehensively and systematically.

Assessment of the soil natural fertility is important in the socio-economic stability and development of each territory. Purpose: This study is devoted to the method of solving an important socio-economic problem – determining the soil fertility index. Research methodology. In the course of the research the methods of the theory of soil quality assessment, mathematical statistics, field and laboratory researches of the numerical values forming the estimated cost of soils are used. Natural soil fertility is represented by the five most important groups of factors: morphological, physical, agrochemical, physicochemical and environmental. Each group of factors may include a number of individual indicators that researchers believe are the most influential in assessing this type of soil. Soil quality is a complex natural functional system that cannot be obtained from direct measurements, but can be determined with a certain degree of confidence by processing the values that most fully characterize the soil. In this regard, a number of methods and methodological approaches to their definition have been developed. To this end, we have chosen a five-point rating scale, which makes it possible to assess each factor in a single evaluation system. The scientific novelty. Based on known methods of soil quality assessment, the authors propose a methodological approach that allows not only to assess the determination of the soil quality index and its accuracy but also the influence of individual factors on the index value. Results: classification of the factors forming the soil quality index, their scores` assessment and methodology of database processing have been developed, and their practical application and confirmation have been found in experimental studies. Practical significance. This can be used by experts in the field of soil assessment to develop proposals and recommendations for public authorities and local governments to address land administration issues.

O2O Iterative Project-based Teaching Model for Literature Course

As a main course of Chinese language and literature major in colleges, Literature Course is one of required courses for students majoring in journalism, hosting and broadcasting, which can cultivate students’ favorable humanistic quality and promote their specialty development. However, some problems exist in traditional teaching process, such as low interest in linguistics, insufficient interaction between teachers and students, and single evaluation system. Starting from Merrill’s chief teaching principle and aiming at teaching deficiencies of Literature Course, this study innovatively introduced O2O iterative project-based teaching model to establish an iterative teaching model based on online and offline integration. In combination of the question-based teaching method, four teaching steps including “construction, guidance, tutoring and introspection” were designed under the cooperation of O2O space environment and collaborative mechanism, and a brand-new implementation framework for linguistics teaching was tentatively constructed. To test the effect of this teaching mode, classification and regression tree (CART) algorithm of data mining technology was applied to compare and evaluate teachers’ teaching ability before and after the implementation of this teaching mode. It is found that, this teaching reform contributes to cultivating students’ critical thinking and innovation ability, and enhancing their academic research spirit and ability of language theory application.

Análise do risco setorial como instrumento de controle gerencial em instituições financeiras

O processo de tomada de decisões de financiamento e investimento é influenciado pelo grau de risco inerente às variáveis consideradas. Este artigo enfoca as variáveis de risco dos setores e segmentos econômicos, que condicionam as decisões das instituições financeiras quanto à concessão do crédito, bem como seu controle durante o período do financiamento. O objetivo é apresentar uma forma alternativa de avaliar o grau de risco dessas variáveis, utilizando uma abordagem que agregue a multiplicidade de critérios das mais diversas dimensões em um sistema único de avaliação. Para tanto, foi utilizado o método AHP; os resultados da aplicação apresentam uma proposta de classificação de risco dos setores e segmentos econômicos da economia brasileira.
