This research entitled “The Negative Impact of Uni Soviet Colonialisms Period 1945-1947 on Shikotan Island in Jobanni no Shima Anime by Mizuho Nishikubo”. This research aimed to have a knowledge of the reflection of Uni Soviet colonialism period 1945-1947 on Shikotan Island in Jobanni no Shima anime and to know the negative impact of Soviet Union colonialism period 1945-1947 on Shikotan Island. The theory used in this research was Stephen Greenblatt's theory of new historicism, theory of postcolonialism and Pierce's and Mc Cloud's theory of semiotics. Based on the data that had been analyzed, the result showed the impact of Soviet Union colonialism period 1945-1947 on Shikotan Island had a negative impact on the social field those are: 1) casualties from the population of Shikotan Island; 2) Shikotan’s people lose their home; 3) the occurrence of exile against Shikotan island residents. In the field of culture, had a negative impact on education of Japanese children on the island of Shikotan, such they have to share school building with Russkies's children and also the lifestyle changes experienced by Shikotan’s people. The last negative impacts were in the economic field: 1) looting among the Shikotan’s people; 2) the occurrence of food shortages on the Shikotan island.
