Demographics and scope of Australian emergency department physiotherapists

QuestionsTo provide workforce data on the status of Australian Emergency Department (ED) physiotherapy practice, including physiotherapist demographic data, staffing levels and funding sources. Evaluate the scope of practice currently undertaken by ED physiotherapists and alignment of ED physiotherapy service provision with demand levels.DesignCross sectional survey.ParticipantsAustralian physiotherapists working within an Australian ED.Outcome measuresWorkforce data, scope of practice and alignment of physiotherapy service provision to ED presentations and demand.Results94 Australian ED physiotherapists completed the survey, 76.9% were working as primary contact clinicians. They had a diverse scope of practice, 100% perform mobility assessments, 89.9% provide care for paediatric patients and 10.1% were involved in administration of medications. 86.2% of participants (75/87) reported working within a service model that provided seven-day per week physiotherapy coverage to ED.ConclusionThe sample of ED physiotherapists were found to be experienced and highly trained clinicians with a diverse scope of practice, who are well placed to meet the unpredictable and highly variable patient caseload of Australian EDs.

A model of community youth mental health support services in the global South: A description and use of school-based services delivered by a non-governmental organisation in South Africa

ObjectiveYoung people in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), including South Africa, are disproportionately affected by multiple risk factors for developing mental health problems and there are numerous barriers to accessing mental health care. In such contexts non-governmental organisations (NGOs) play a key role in providing support. We report on the mental health care services provided by NGO Community Keepers in South Africa. MethodCommunity Keepers (CK) offers psychosocial support to young people, parents, and teachers, during regular school hours, and free of charge. At the end of 2019, CK was based at 23 schools in 12 areas in the Western Cape Province, South Africa. In this paper we describe the model of service provision and present descriptive statistics from retrospective observational service data using routinely collected quantitative data from 2019, including details about referrals received, referral sources and reasons, and feedback received from children, parents, and teachers on the psychosocial support CK delivered. ResultsDuring 2019, 34 676 individuals accessed 18169 psychosocial support sessions rendered by CK. The most common referral source of learners to CK was self-referrals (40.6%), and the main referral reasons were emotional (psychological) problems, behaviour problems, or family (community) problems. At termination of therapy 320 (79.2%) learners said they strongly agreed that they would recommend CK to someone at their school. At termination of therapy with learners, 95 (39.3%) teachers rated CK’s services as excellent, 139 (57.4%) teachers gave a rating of good, and 204 (79.7%) parents reported an improvement in their relationship with their children. ConclusionsCK is an example of how psychosocial support can be embedded in schools in a LMIC. CK’s multifaceted model of service delivery could be used by other school-based mental health care service providers in other LMICs to inform and/or refine the services that they wish to offer.

Differentiated Service Delivery Models for Maintaining HIV Treatment and Prevention Services During Crisis and Disease Outbreaks: Lessons from the COVID-19 Pandemic.

This review summarizes differentiated service delivery (DSD) models for HIV treatment and prevention that have been adapted for maintaining continuity of services during the COVID-19 pandemic and proposes strategies for sustaining their benefits now and during future disruptions. The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in an overburdened and disrupted health system, forcing countries to adopt and/or scale up DSD models for HIV services. While initially implemented as emergency measures, these models evolved and were refined over time to fit recipient needs ensuring continued HIV treatment and prevention services with minimal health system impact. Successful models employed task shifting, community-based delivery models, multimonth scripting and dispensing, and telehealth for remote consultation. DSD models enabled HIV services globally to be maintained during the COVID-19 pandemic. Though these models and adaptations were critical in addressing health gaps and disruptions caused by the pandemic, they were beneficial in improving efficiency and access to client-centered services and should be sustained.

Perceived control moderates the internalized stigma model of seeking mental health services in distressed older adults.

Older adults are especially unlikely to seek mental health services, and internalized stigma is a key reason why. However, little research has investigated which older adults are particularly likely to have stigma influence help-seeking. To address this, we tested whether perceived control (PC) moderates an internalized stigma model in which public stigma is internalized as self-stigma, which negatively predicts help-seeking attitudes and help-seeking intentions. We employed moderated mediation analysis of cross-sectional, secondary data from 348 psychologically distressed Canadian adults aged 65 years and older. Participants completed an online survey that included measures of public stigma of help-seeking, self-stigma of help-seeking, help-seeking attitudes, conditional help-seeking intentions, psychological distress, and PC. PC emerged as a moderator of the internalized stigma model. Those lower in PC were more likely to have public stigma negatively predict help-seeking intentions through the serial mediation of (a) self-stigma and (b) help-seeking attitudes. Further, those lower in PC were more likely to have public stigma internalized as self-stigma and more likely to have negative help-seeking attitudes predict lower help-seeking intentions. Finally, those lower in PC also had lower help-seeking intentions in the face of low levels of self-stigma. These results contribute to a nuanced understanding of which older adults are unlikely to seek help. Identifying PC as a moderator of the internalized stigma model suggests that interventions that enhance PC should protect against public stigma's internalization and improve help-seeking behaviors for older adults who need such help. Personalities of professional heroes in the musical pedagogy of the South Urals

The article continues a series of studies by the authors devoted to the consideration of the activities of famous musicians-teachers of the South Urals in the heroic paradigm – as outstanding masters who have achieved impressive results in pedagogical work, have received wide public recognition, are perceived by the professional community as a model of service to their cause and an axiological guideline for the younger generation. The purpose of this work is to present the activities of famous musical teachers of the Southern Urals in an integrative context. In this article, the personalities of outstanding teachers of the P.I. Tchaikovsky South Ural State Institute of Arts (hereinafter referred to as the Tchaikovsky Law School) - E.G. Bykov (balalaika), V.V. Kozlov (guitar), A.A. Heineman (French horn, orchestral conducting) are chosen for study. The methodology consists in using an integrated approach and synthesis of research methods in pedagogy, art history, and cognitive linguistics. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the fact that the heroization of the personality of the teachers-musicians of the Tchaikovsky YUrGII is revealed integratively: in the didactic aspect (creation of their own outstanding pedagogical school), culturological (enrichment of cultural achievements of the region through fruitful and highly productive creative work of professional heroes), communicative (establishment of stable artistic communication with the public through creative activity of students), axiological (formation of reference principles and methods of work of a professional teacher, acting as axiological guidelines for the younger generation of musicians). The theoretical significance is expressed in a systematic and consistent study of the pedagogical heritage of outstanding masters of art of the South Urals, which allows us to enrich the history of the development of the Tchaikovsky School as one of the leading creative universities in the region. As a result of the research, the hypothesis is proved that the activities of outstanding musical teachers should be considered as a phenomenon of the spiritual culture of society in the unity of transformative, cognitive, value-oriented, communicative potential, and only integrative perception allows us to identify aspects of the glorification of personality most fully and in relief.

Current concepts and targets for preventing the transition of acute to chronic postsurgical pain.

It is estimated that approximately a third of patients undergoing certain surgeries may report some degree of persistent pain postoperatively. Chronic postsurgical pain (CPSP) reduces quality of life, is challenging to treat, and has significant socio-economic impact. From an epidemiological perspective, factors that predispose patients to the development of CPSP may be considered in relation to the patient, the procedure or, the care environment. Prevention or management of transition from acute to chronic pain often need a multidisciplinary approach beginning early in the preoperative period and continuing beyond surgical admission. The current concepts regarding the role of central and peripheral nervous systems in chronification of pain may provide targets for future therapies but, the current evidence seems to suggest that a multimodal analgesic approach of preventive analgesia along with a continued follow-up and treatment after hospital discharge may hold the key to identify and manage the transitioning of acute to chronic pain. A comprehensive multidisciplinary approach with prior identification of risk factors, minimizing the surgical insult and a culture of utilizing multimodal analgesia and continued surveillance beyond the period of hospitalization is an important step towards reducing the development of chronic pain. A transitional pain service model may accomplish many of these goals.

Restaurant resilience: A qualitative study of resilience, adaptability, and innovation of the Alabama restaurant industry during the COVID-19 pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic had a profound impact on the restaurant industry in Alabama. This qualitative study examines how Alabama restaurants demonstrated resilience and adaptability across three distinct phases of the pandemic, including the period of unrestricted activities, offering a new perspective. The findings highlight significant operational, financial, and labor-related difficulties faced during these phases. Key strategies include operational adjustments, technology integration, and strategic financial management. The study underscores the critical role of technology in maintaining customer connections and adapting service models during disruptions. It introduces a conceptual model that offers valuable contingency plans for operational innovation and resilience, helping restaurants manage crises effectively. Additionally, the research emphasizes the crucial role of government financial support in the survival and recovery of restaurants during the pandemic. The study enriches the existing literature by providing insights into the post-recovery impact of COVID-19 on the restaurant sector.

Care models for coexisting serious mental health and alcohol/drug conditions: the RECO realist evidence synthesis and case study evaluation.

People with severe mental illness who experience co-occurring substance use experience poor outcome including suicide, violence, relapses and use of crisis services. They struggle to access care and treatment due to a lack of an integrated and co-ordinated approach which means that some people can fall between services. Despite these concerns, there is limited evidence as to what works for this population. To undertake a realist evaluation of service models in order to identify and refine programme theories of what works under what contexts for this population. Realist synthesis and evaluation using published literature and case study data. Mental health, substance use and related services that had some form of service provision in six locations in the United Kingdom (five in England and one in Northern Ireland). People with lived experience of severe mental illness and co-occurring substance use, carers and staff who work in the specialist roles as well as staff in mental health and substance use services. Eleven initial programme theories were generated by the evidence synthesis and in conjunction with stakeholders. These theories were refined through focus groups and interviews with 58 staff, 25 service users and 12 carers across the 6 case study areas. We identified three forms of service provision (network, consultancy and lead and link worker); however, all offered broadly similar interventions. Evidence was identified to support most of the 11 programme theories. Theories clustered around effective leadership, workforce development and collaborative integrated care pathways. Outcomes that are meaningful for service users and staff were identified, including the importance of engagement. The requirement for online data collection (due to the COVID-19 pandemic) worked well for staff data but worked less well for service users and carers. Consequently, this may have reduced the involvement of those without access to information technology equipment. The realist evaluation co-occurring study provides details on how and in what circumstances integrated care can work better for people with co-occurring severe mental health and alcohol/drug conditions. This requires joined-up policy at government level and local integration of services. We have also identified the value of expert clinicians who can support the workforce in sustaining this programme of work. People with co-occurring severe mental health and alcohol/drug conditions have complex and multifaceted needs which require a comprehensive and long-term integrated approach. The shift to integrated health and social care is promising but will require local support (local expert leaders, network opportunities and clarity of roles). Further work should evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of service models for this group. This study is registered as PROSPERO CRD42020168667. Chain of events 2019–2022 (COVID-19, sanctions, rising inflation, import substitution policy and economic situation in the market) have had a significant impact on consumer behavior. Many consumers have started to shop online more often than offline stores. Consumer preferences and active adoption of digital technologies by market leaders set the vector of overall digitalization and require companies in the industry to adapt in three areas: customer service, business processes and business models. In order to develop a personalized digital transformation strategy that takes into account a company's strengths and weaknesses, it is necessary to assess the level of digital maturity. The study analyzed the most well-known methodologies for assessing digital transformation, which revealed a number of short-comings, such as the lack of assessment of investment potential and the current level of implementation of digital tools, as well as insufficient attention to the security of digital infrastructure. The authors have developed a new system for assessing the level of digital transformation. The proposed criteria can be interpreted to make further strategic, managerial decisions regarding the implementation of digital technologies at the enterprises of the industry. Taking into account the results obtained, it is necessary to assess the level of digital maturity taking into account the prioritization of tasks and the dynamic nature of digital transformation. This will allow choosing the most relevant strategy on the data-driven retailing matrix.

Transformation of banks’ business models in the context of ensuring the security of the banking system in Kazakhstan

The article discusses the main aspects of the development of the banking sector, taking into account the development of digital solutions. The vectors in the development of high-tech in banks are discussed, as well as the changes that these technologies bring to business processes, banking solutions and offers, customer service models and the improvement of the personal ecosystem. Domestic and foreign examples of the use of high-tech in the process of planning, evaluating and monitoring decisions are analyzed, which makes it possible to demonstrate the prospects for their application for further implementation of the principles and procedures of effective management. The study showed that the digital agenda of the entire process chain will become the main vector of development of any business, including banking. In addition, the use of advanced technologies in the banking system will help solve a large number of unresolved issues. Technologies such as machine learning, P2P lending, blockchain and artificial intelligence will provide an opportunity to moderate technological changes, allow you to personalize solutions, reduce the time of banking transactions, eliminate technical errors in calculations and the risks of deliberate data distortion. The purpose of the study is to present a description of the main directions of digital transformation of banks’ business models in the context of ensuring the security of the banking system in Kazakhstan. A Comparative Analysis of Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake: Architectural Paradigms and Performance Metrics in Modern Cloud Data Platforms

Abstract: This article presents a comprehensive comparative analysis of two leading cloud data platforms: Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake. As organizations increasingly rely on cloud-based solutions for data management and analytics, understanding the strengths and limitations of these platforms becomes crucial. This article examines the architectural foundations, functional capabilities, performance metrics, and cost considerations of both platforms. We explore Microsoft Fabric's integrated service model within the Azure ecosystem and Snowflake's multi-cluster shared data architecture, assessing their approaches to data integration, storage, analytics, and machine learning integration. Through empirical performance comparisons and an evaluation of scalability mechanisms, we provide insights into the operational efficiencies of each platform. Additionally, we analyze the security features, compliance standards, and pricing models to offer a holistic view of the total cost of ownership. Our findings reveal distinct advantages in Microsoft Fabric's end-to-end integration and Snowflake's performance in multicloud environments, while also highlighting areas for potential improvement in both platforms. Democracy and the ‘citizen-soldier’ military: The case of Kosovo and Israel

The intention of Kosovo’s government to establish a ‘citizen-soldier’ military creates an opportunity to do the ‘right thing from the beginning’—the current comparative study elaborates on the steps that have to be taken in order to establish a military in a young and small democratic state, with a strong normative base, that will provide confidence in the defence system alongside constructive socialisation. The structure of constitutional analysis serves as a base for in-depth discussion concerning the military service model in democratic states. The analysis is followed by an elaboration on the ‘citizen-soldier’ military model in the context of cultural aspects and the connection to the constitutional base, combined with an analysis of Israel’s and Kosovo’s social–cultural features, security challenges, and geo-strategic situations, similarities and opportunities regarding implementation of a military model. The study reveals that in democratic states, the ‘citizen-soldier’ model has to be anchored in the culture and in the constitution in order to prevent social conflicts concerning rights and duties, establishing a constructive social platform that empowers national resilience alongside defensive abilities. Kosovo’s success in implementing a ‘citizen-soldier’ model is built on the adoption of positive ways of social integration using Israel’s experience while minimising its weaknesses: the existence of constitutional definitions that will balance civilians’ rights and duties in the context of military duty, harnessing the education system as a socialisation agent, and establishment of a reserve military force that will be anchored in national duty, in the security view and the social view.

Visitor Perceptions of Service Quality in Promoting Environmental Sustainability at Umbul Bening Water Park, East Java

Purpose: This research aims to determine tourists' perceptions regarding service quality based on environmental sustainability and to create a service quality model to support ecological sustainability at the Umbul Bening tourist attraction. Research methods: The research uses a sequential exploratory mix-method, with an accidental sampling technique of 322 respondents; quantitative data is processed using SERVQUAL (service quality) and IPA (critical performance analysis), while qualitative data processing is analyzed using FGD (focus group discussion). Results and discussion: The research results show that tourists' perceptions of service quality based on environmental sustainability are not good, with a gap in service quality, especially related to environmental quality. Implication: The service model referring to servicescape is an alternative for creating environmental quality in providing services using the SOR (stimulus, organism, response) paradigm approach, which is expected to be able to influence employee consistency in carrying out their work to support environmental sustainability.

A Quality Improvement Project On The Introduction Of A Nurse-Led, Patient Self-Monitored Blood Pressure Telehealth Platform

Abstract Background Telehealth is a strategy for health and wellbeing promotion. Hypertension is a modifiable risk factor in vascular health. Timely, reliable and accessible identification of this risk is important. Working within an interdisciplinary ambulatory neurovascular hub, a nurse-led model of service provided the opportunity to effectively identify and modify this risk through the secondary prevention measure of hypertension management. Methods An interdisciplinary neurovascular service quality improvement group, the “Stroke Big Room”, evaluated service models and telehealth platforms for patient-self monitoring of hypertension. The telehealth “Florence” platform was introduced. An accompanying Patient Information Leaflet was developed with the Communications Team within the Trust. Patients with a blood pressure of 130/80mmHg and a confirmed diagnosis of minor stroke or transient ischaemic attack were offered the “Flo” platform. Results A 20-patient sample found: 50% required no treatment change, 30% were commenced on antihypertensive treatment and 20% required antihypertensive dose increase. In the 2023/24 financial year, 285 patients participated in the Flo platform. Conclusion Timely identification and modification of hypertension is a reversible risk factor for neurovascular disease. A nurse-led service for the provision of, education on and support in use of a telehealth monitoring platform is an effective approach. This service model allows for effective secondary prevention treatment in a rapid and accessible way. The telehealth platform “Flo” was accessible to patients on the basis of patient reported outcome measures. As a result of the use of the platform, pharmacotherapeutic interventions occurred in 50% of participants in this telehealth programme.

A novel secure privacy-preserving data sharing model with deep-based key generation on the blockchain network in the cloud

Cloud computing is currently emerging as a developing technology in which a Cloud Service Provider (CSP) is a third-party organization that provides effective storage of data and facilities to a large client base. Saving information in a cloud offers users the satisfaction of accessing it without the need for direct knowledge of the distribution and management of an infrastructure. The primary objective is to develop a novel, secure, and privacy-preserving data-sharing model that utilizes deep-based key generation on blockchain in the cloud. Data communication is done using multiple entities. The research aims to develop a collaborative data-sharing method in the cloud for the authentication scheme for cloud security on blockchain and smart contracts. Initialization, registration, key generation, authentication of data sharing, and validation are carried out here. The proposed data-sharing model involves a revenue distribution model that depends on Multiple Services (MS) models to improve multiple cloud services. The security parameters namely passwords, hashing functions, key interpolation, and encryption are used for preserving the Data privacy and here the SpinalNet is used for generating keys. Furthermore, the devised SpinalNet_Genkey obtained a value of 45.001 MB, 0.002, and 0.003 sec for memory usage, revenue, and computation cost.

How are Brain Health Interventions Implemented in Clinical Settings Internationally? – A Scoping Review

Abstract Background It is estimated that 40% of dementia cases worldwide may be linked to potentially modifiable risk-factors. Evidence suggests multidomain interventions targeting a number of these risk factors can help prevent and delay the development of cognitive decline. However, the optimal way to deliver these interventions in clinical practice is less clear. We conducted a scoping review to explore the implementation of brain health interventions in a clinical setting. Methods A scoping review methodology was chosen to allow the consideration of publications from sources outside the confines of a systematic review. A search was conducted and applied to four databases: MEDLINE, Embase, CINHAL, PsychInfo. Grey literature in the form of National Dementia Policy Documents were also considered for inclusion. Publications related to the delivery of brain health interventions in a clinical setting available in English were included, while multidomain interventions delivered for research purposes only were excluded. Results were dual-screened, extracted by two independent reviewers, and reported in line with PRISMA-scr guidelines. Results Of 3,035 results, 2,109 remained following de-duplication. Fifty full-text records were screened, with 4 citations referring to 2 clinical services included in the review. The first service (Alzheimer’s Prevention Clinic (APC), Cornell and Puerto Rico) was established in 2013 while the second (Brain Health Scotland) established a clinical service in 2023. Both accept self-referrals and healthcare provider referrals and are distinct from existing memory clinic service models. Both services offered cognitive testing along with risk factor assessment. A detailed suite of interventions offered to patients in the APC was outlined targeting cardiovascular, lifestyle and nutritional risk factors. The clinical interventions offered in the Brain Health Scotland clinical service were not documented. Conclusion Within the limitations of the search strategy, there is a paucity of available information on existing, operational brain health intervention clinics, particularly those linked to memory assessment services.

A Systemic Review & Meta-Analysis of the Impact of Vascular-Geriatric Service Models on Short-Term Outcomes in Vascular Surgery Inpatients

Abstract Background Vascular surgeons are treating progressively older, frailer and more medically complex patients. Care models including both surgeons and geriatricians have improved peri-operative outcomes in orthopaedics and surgical oncology. This meta-analysis investigates the impact of “vascular-geriatric” services on short-term inpatient outcomes. Methods Search strategy included PubMed, Scopus and Embase databases, conference abstracts and clinical trial registries. All study methodologies comparing outcomes before and after the introduction of a dedicated vascular-geriatrics service were eligible. Meta-analyses compared the relative risk (RR) of mortality, complications and 30-day readmission using a random-effects model. Risk of bias was assessed with the MINORS tool. Results Eight studies were identified, including one randomised trial and seven ‘before & after’ observational studies. 2074 patients were included, 1065 in the “Vascular-Geriatrics” cohort and 1009 in standard care. Care models included comprehensive geriatric assessment as part of the pre-operative review process before elective aortic surgery, inpatient geriatric liaison services and formal vascular-geriatric co-management arrangements. Source studies were of moderate to high risk of bias. A meta-analysis of five studies demonstrated vascular-geriatrics models were significantly associated with lower mortality rates than standard care (pooled 2.4% vs 4.9%) (RR 0.51, 95% CI 0.28-0.94, p=.03) (I2=0%). Vascular-Geriatrics models were also significantly associated with lower risk of infective complications (RR 0.49, 95% CI 0.36–0.66, p<.001) (I2=0%) and delirium (RR 0.58, 95% CI 0.35–0.97, p=.04) (I2=48%). There was no difference in mean length of stay (SMD -2.20, 95% CI -4.6-0.19, p=.07) (I2=86%). or 30-day readmission rates between Vascular-Geriatrics models and standard care (RR 1.10, 95% CI 0.81-1.51, p=.54) (I2=38%). Conclusion While the source data is heterogenous and of limited quality, this meta-analysis suggests that dedicated geriatric intervention may reduce adverse peri-operative outcomes in vascular patients compared to traditional care models. Further studies are needed to investigate the most effective design of geriatrician-surgeon partnership.

Female Agency in Rural Public Participation: Actions and Strategies for Empowering Social Organizations in Dilemmas

Current grassroots social governance in China advocates the participation of multiple entities, represented by social organizations. However, social organizations often face mismatches between supply and demand, low levels of specialization, and a lack of resources and talent when providing services. Given previous research exploring the institutional environment of social organizations, this paper focuses on the agency of actors within these organizations and their interactive relationship with the organization. It finds that rural women can become enablers of the growth of social organizations in distress and intermediary roles for promoting local social operations, which contests the stereotype about womens vulnerability. This article compares, inducts and analyzes six empirical cases based on the "Role-Agency" framework, and categorizes rural womens roles and agencies in empowering social organizations in distress into four groups. The analysis of these action strategies will provide social organizations with more paths to improve service models and promote social advocacy.

In Pursuit of a Person-Centered Approach to Care Delivery: A Qualitative Descriptive Study of the Patient Experience of a Long-Term Conditions Clinic in General Practice.

Innovative ways of working are emerging in health care to meet the complex needs of people living with multiple long-term conditions. While these initiatives are often measured for their health and economic outcomes, few studies prioritize the patient experience. This qualitative descriptive study is one of a few studies exploring the patient experience of attending a dedicated long-term conditions annual review clinic in a primary care setting in England. The service model aims to provide a person-centered, holistic approach to the management and support of people living with multiple long-term conditions. The study presents findings from in-depth interviews with 12 participants. Data analyzed through framework analysis revealed four themes relating to the patient experience: the clinic as a place, continuity, staying healthy, and partnership opportunities. Results highlight the challenges to providing personalized care. We found that attendance at the clinic prompted self-care behaviors, however, patients wanted a more holistic, integrated, and consistent service that provided continuity of therapeutic relationships that involved them in decision-making and care planning. We conclude that the experience of patients in this study suggests this service model can enable patients to manage their health and improve well-being, however, while a person-centered philosophy may underpin service models, our research shows that ensuring this philosophy is born out in service delivery and recognized by patients is problematic. Therefore, service providers need to recognize the values and perspectives of patients, aligning these with the design and delivery of services.

A study on the effectiveness of web applications for publishing translations of oriental literature

The article analyzes existing websites for publishing and reading translations of literary works, with an emphasis on identifying their main problems and shortcomings. Three types of such sites are described: universal, specialized, and oriental literature-oriented. Each type has its own peculiarities, but they all face similar problems, including a limited choice of content, difficulties in finding materials, and inconvenient user interface. The main problem with specialized websites created by a single team of translators (e.g., Silver Raven) is the limited number of available works, as well as the inconvenience and time-consuming search for the right job due to the need to visit the website of a new team of translators every time. The design is often mediocre and inconvenient for users due to a lack of experience in website development and limited resources. Some teams do not even have their own websites and work on third-party platforms, such as Telegram. As for universal sites such as Wattpad, the main problem is the lack of a specialized filter for translated works, which makes it difficult to find them. In addition, there are shortcomings in the design of the reading pages, where a lot of free space is not used and the text is difficult to read due to inappropriate size and formatting. Specialized sites for oriental literature, such as uAuthor and Baka, also have their problems. For example, uAuthor does not allow reading works directly on the site, which creates additional inconvenience for users. Baka, while providing such a possibility, has a complex filtering system and limited tools for adding and editing text. The article concludes that the existing platforms do not fully meet the needs of translators and readers of such a type of oriental literature as ranobe, which prompts the development of a new web application. The proposed solution is to develop our own web application specifically aimed at publishing and reading works. The main attention will be paid to the design of both the website and the text editor to ensure ease of use for translators and readers. Another solution is to create a web platform of several web services that are interconnected using the composite web service design and modeling method.
