PENINGKATAN PERAN KEPALA SEKOLAH SEBAGAI SUPERVISOR MELALUI BIMBINGAN BERKELANJUTAN DI GUGUS KI HAJAR DEWANTARA UPT DINAS PENDIDIKAN KECAMATAN KLEDUNG

Most of the Principal in carrying out the preparation of Supervision Program is still low, in carrying out their supervision activities are not preceded by good planning so impressed origin implement. The aim of the research is to improve Peren principal as supervisor, especially in the preparation program through the guidance of continuous supervision.The subjects were seven principals of research carried out in the second semester of academic year 2014/2015, the hope in the school year 2015/2016 school principals in implementing the supervision starting from the preparation of the program so that the implementation goes according to plan in advance so that already obtained results in an optimal supervision.This research was conducted in two cycles, the first cycle is carried out through the guidance of the group obtained an increase in the average value of the programming supervision of 42.85% compared to the initial conditions. The second cycle of the guidance implemented individually acquired 14.29% increase compared to the first cycle, or at the end of the second cycle there is a 57.14% increase compared to the initial state or the final result of 71.43% according to performance indicators

PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA SISWA MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS E-LEARNING PADA SISWA KELAS XI IPA

This research is a classroom action research, which purpose to improve the result of the students math process of the students xi ipa by interest based learning. The research subjects were 23 students of Second Year students of SMA in Pangkajene of the second semester of academic year 2012/2013. This research was conducted in two cycles. The procedure conducted in 4 stages, called: (1) Planning, (2) Implementation of action, (3) observation, and (4) Reflection. The data collection was done by giving the cycle test I then cycle test II, and questionnaire response of students after given teaching by interest based learning. The collected data were analyzed by quantitative and qualitative. The result of this research shown that quatitatively, the result of students math learning was increase by Interest based learning. At the first cycle, the numbers of students who passed the study were 19 students (82, 6 %) with an average score of 71,00 from the ideal score of 100 that categorized high score. At the second cycle, the numbers of students who passed the study were 23 students (100 %) with an average score of 87,57 that categorized very high score. While qualitatively,during the learning process, shown that there was better of behavior change, it can be seen by the increasing of students development activity that was suitable with learning of the first and the second cycle. The students also gave positive response of learning which was seen by response questionnaire of students.

LITERASI KETAHANAN PANGAN BERBASIS PHOTOVOICE DENGAN MODEL GI TERHADAP KEPEDULIAN DAN HASIL KARYA TULIS ILMIAH KIR

Food security has become a concern at national and international scope. Recently, food security has not been widely integrated into education, so the impact is students’ low awareness on it. One solution to overcome the situation is to raise food security literacy by using photovoice through Group Investigation learning model. The purpose of this study is to analyze the awareness and score of students’ scientific paper through the aforementioned methods. Quasi-Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design was used. The population was all students of Youth Science Group in X class of SMA (SLUA) ​​Saraswati 1 Denpasar in the second semester of academic year 2015/2016. Sample used were students of X MIA 1 as a control and X MIA 2 as an experimental class. Data collection technique for gaining awareness of students was distributing questionnaires of awareness Assessment results of scientific paper was then assessed by using rubric. Data analysis technique usedwas Mann-Whitney U test. The results of quantitative research show that there wasa difference on the awareness and score of scientific paper between the control and the experimental class with the significant degree of p=0.000<0.05. In conclusion,the food security literacy based on photovoice in Group Investigation learning model increased the awareness and score of students’ scientific paper.

ANALISIS PENERAPAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN PREZI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X TPHP PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENGENDALIAN MUTU DALAM PROSES PENGOLAHAN DI SMK NEGERI 3 TAKALAR

This research is a classroom action research, which aimed to improve student learning outcomes on the quality control of processing subject in class X agricultural processing technology expertise SMK Negeri 3 Takalar with the use of teaching media, Prezi. The subjects of this research were the students of class X agricultural processing technology expertise SMK Negeri 3 Takalar in the second semester of academic year 2016/2017 that consist of 29 students. This study was conducted in two cycles consisting of four step: planning, implementation, monitoring/observation and reflection. The collection data activities of students learning outcomes is done by using observation sheet and test sheet at the end of the study in the first cycle and the second cycle. The data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. Based on the results of this study concluded that the use of Prezi can improve the learning outcomes of class X TPHP SMK Negeri 3 Takalar.

Teacher Talk and Learner Talk in The Classroom Interaction (An Interaction Analysis to an English Language Class at SMP N 2 Sindang)

The purpose of this research was to know what teacher talk constitute in classroom interaction, what learner talk constitute in classroom interaction and what percentages of the teacher and learner talk in classroom interaction. The methodology of research used in this research is interaction analysis. An English teacher and whole learners of VII A grade class at SMP N 2 Sindang were chosen as the sample in this research. The class is in the second semester in academic year 2009-2010. In this research the writer applied interview questions for teacher and learners and FIAC (Flanders Interaction Analysis Category). The result of this research showed that teacher more active than learner in the interaction. The teacher generally did most of talking during the lesson. In the available data showed that the teacher used more in indirect influence of FIAC category, they are; accepting feeling, encouragement, accepting or using idea of the learner, and asking question) rather than direct influence (lecturing, giving direction, and criticizing). It is about 49.6% / 16.4 %. Thus the total of teacher talk is 56.4% of the class time. Meanwhile the learners did more response rather than initiation with percentage 30.4% / 12.4% from the total learner talk is 42.8%

PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR IPA BERBASIS SETS PADA SISWA MTsN 1 KENDARI

This study aims to produce the valid SETS-based science teaching materials for the practical and effective use in improving student learning outcomes on environmental pollution materials. This research is Research and Development with pretest-posstest one group design implemented at VII class’ students of MTsN 1 Kendari in the second semester of academic year 2015/2016. The instruments of the study are valid and reliable observations, questionnaires and cognitive tests to obtain the required data. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique is using descriptive and inferential analysis after meeting the normality and homogeneity requirements test. The results indicate; 1) the results of the validity of the SETS-based science test materials by the material and media experts which are valid and highly feasible materials to use, 2) the product practicality test results in small and large group samples which include all aspects considered to be generally implemented as a whole, and 3) the product effectiveness test results obtained through the average test of student learning outcomes before and after treatment which is significantly different, meaning that students' learning outcomes after treatment is increase. While the response of students and teachers on teaching materials used both in small and large group samples are both very good and suitable to use as a learning material on environmental contamination material in MTsN 1 Kendari.

Effect of Hypnoteaching Methods Toward Cognitive Learning Outcomes to Nervous System Subject in SMAN 97 Jakarta

Learning results are influenced by 2 factors; internal and external factors. Method of learning is one of external factors. This study aimed to determine the effect of Hypnoteaching method toward application the cognitive learning outcomes on Nervous System Topic at SMAN 97 Jakarta. The research was conducted in the second semester of Academic Year 2014/2015. The method was a quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest control group design. A total sample of 74 students of class XI MIA was selected by simple random sampling technique. This research used a cognitive learning. Test instrument data was analized by analysis of variance of the path of non-parametric Kruskal Wallis. The result showed a significance value 0.07> 0.05 so that it was conclude that Hypnoteaching method had no effect on students cognitive learning outcomes Nervous System Topic.

PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN GROUP INVESTIGATION (GI) TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR ANALISIS SISWA PADA MATERI PENCEMARAN LINGKUNGAN

The analytical thinking skill is a part of the higher order thinking process. The analytical thinking skill is needed to solve a problem in learning process. The analytical thinking has 5 process, there are matching, classifying, analyzing errors, generalizing, and specifying. Group Investigation (GI) model is applied in learning to improve the analytical thinking skill of students in environmental pollution. This research aimed to determine the influence of applying Group Investigation (GI) model on student analytical thinking skill in environmental pollution. This research was held on second semester of academic year 2015/2016 on April until May 2016 in Labschool Kebayoran Junior High School. The kind of this research is a quantitative research with quasi experiment methods. The subject of this research is students in Class VII-B and VII-F Labschool Kebayoran Junior High School. The instrument which used are essay post-test with 15 questions and carried out-learning observations sheet. Based on the result of research, obtained the mean of the analytical thinking skills score test in experiment class is higher than control class, that is 78,46 > 69,43. The prerequisite test shows that data normally distributed and class groups derived from a homogenous population. The hypothesis test uses t-test on 0,05 significant level shows that there is an influence of applying Group Investigation (GI) model on student analytical thinking skill in environmental pollution.

PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN PROCESS ORIENTED GUIDED INQUIRY LEARNING (POGIL) DAN DISCOVERY LEARNING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR ANALISIS SISWA SMAN 27 JAKARTA PADA MATERI SISTEM IMUN

Analytical Thining Skills is one of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Students are required to have Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) based on Curiculum 2013. Analytical Thining Skills was needed in the process solving a problem in learning process. One of the most difficult matter in grade XI Class is immunity System. With a playing Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) dan Discovery Learning hopefully student can improve their analytical thinking skills. This study aimed to determine the influence of POGIL and Discovery Learning toward Student Analytical Thinking Skills On The Matters of Immunity System. This study conducted in 27 Senior High School Jakarta on second semester of academic year 2015/2016 on April until May 2016. The reseach method used was a quasi experiment. The sample was determinate by simple random sampling. Class XI MIA 1 was experiment class Discovery Learning, Class XI MIA 2 was experiment class POGIL, and class XI MIA 3 was control Class. The instrument used was a post-test with objective test formed multiple choice and cause and effect. The normality data test with Kolmogorov-Smirnov and homogeneity test with Uji Bartlett. Base on the statistic test resulted acquired data distribution normal and homogen. Hipotesis test used one way ANAVA test showed the result Ho was rejected on α=0,05. This means that there is influence of Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) and Discovery Learning toward Student Analytical Thinking Skills On The Matters of Immunity System.

Implementation of Simulation Based-Concept Attainment Method to Increase Interest Learning of Engineering Mechanics Topic

The implementation of concept attainment method based on simulation was used to increase student’s interest in the subjects Engineering of Mechanics in second semester of academic year 2016/2017 in Manufacturing Engineering Program, Department of Mechanical PNUP. The result of the implementation of this learning method shows that there is an increase in the students’ learning interest towards the lecture material which is summarized in the form of interactive simulation CDs and teaching materials in the form of printed books and electronic books. From the implementation of achievement method of this simulation based concept, it is noted that the increase of student participation in the presentation and discussion as well as the deposit of individual assignment of significant student. With the implementation of this method of learning the average student participation reached 89%, which before the application of this learning method only reaches an average of 76%. And also with previous learning method, for exam achievement of A-grade under 5% and D-grade above 8%. After the implementation of the new learning method (simulation based-concept attainment method) the achievement of Agrade has reached more than 30% and D-grade below 1%.

The purpose of this study is to know the improvment of student activity and student learning outcomes of writing essay skill material at 5th grade students of SDN Panyingkiran III Kabupaten Sumedang second semester in academic year 2015/2016, using complete sentenselearning.The research method used is classroom action research. Data collected through observation and tests. The result of this study for student activity, on first cycle 48% of students got very good criteria, second cycle 80% and third cycle 96%. For student learning outcomes, on first cycle just 40% students who pass the evaluation, second cycle 72% and third cycle 92%. The purpose of the use of models of type Cooperative Learning Think Talk Write is to determine the effect of the use of models of type Cooperative Learning Think Talk Write the ability to analyze the historical material class XI IPS SMAN 1 Pekalongan second semester of academic year 2016/2017. Design in this research is Quasi Experiment with shapes pretest-posttest control group design, the sample was selected using random cluster sampling technique. In this activity, this study researchers used models of type Cooperative Learning Think Talk Write to encourage students to improve the ability to analyze. That the average yield of 78.24 experimental class learning and control class is 70.57 based on the average value obtained that the average value of 7.67 experimental class larger than the control class. Based on these calculations it can be concluded that the experimental class higher learning in the classroom compare control.

PENGARUH MODEL COOPERATIVE LEARNING TIPE BEACH BALL TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENGANALISIS SEJARAH

The success of the process of teaching history is inseparable from the ability of teachers exercising their learning. This study menerapan model of Cooperative Learning Type Beach Ball is the right solution to overcome these things. Purpose Cooperative Learning Model application type Beach Ball is to determine the effect on the ability to analyze the history of class X IPS SMAN 2 second semester of academic year 2016/2017 Metro. The bills in this study were researchers used a quasi-experimental (Quasi Experiment), to form Nonequivalent control group design, the sample was selected using random techniques and trials conducted outside of class is class X IPS3 sample is 29 students. As for the class experiment in class X IPS1 totaling 26 students and class X control IPS2 totaling 29 students. There is a positive and significant effect on the model of Cooperative Learning type of beach ball on the ability to analyze the history of the semester students kelasX IPS SMAN 2 Metro. According to analysis findings Cooperative model learning lerning use type Beach Ball on the ability to analyze the history used positively affects the ability of class X IPS SMAN 2 Metro.

PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MODEL PENEMUAN KONSEP TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENGANALISIS MATERI SEJARAH SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI I SEPUTIH BANYAK

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of the concept of the invention models the ability to analyze the material history of the semester students of class X SMA Negeri I white as Many of the school year 2016/2017. The design used by researchers is the Quasi-Experiment with design type Nonquivalent control group design, sample using means cluster random sampling (sampling based on local population that has been set by the researchers), a test in class X IPS4 taken were 30 students, the experiment in class X IPS1 taken control of 30 students while in class X IPS3 taken is 31 students. Questions on the 45 tested a number of questions after it turned out that a valid validated 30 matter. So this study was no effect of the use of models to analyze the ability of the concept to the discovery of the historical material Class X SMA I Seputih Many second semester of academic year 2016/2017. Upon investigation it turns out there is the effect of the invention models the concept of the ability to analyze the historical material in class X IPS1.

Effect of problem-solving based methods on critical thinking and academic achievement of math among students of saravan higher education centers

The aim of the present study is to determine the impact of problem-solving based methods on critical thinking and academic achievement of math in students of higher-education centers in the second semester of academic year 2013-14, Saravan city. The research method in this study is quasi-experimental, with the control group as well as pre-test and post-test. The study population includes all students in the second semester of 2013-14 who studied math in higher-education centers of Saravan city whose number was 400 and 130 students were selected as statistical samples. Measuring instruments used in this study were a researcher made academic achievement of math test and Watson-Glaser critical thinking test. To give an approximation of the content validity of the tests, analyzing books contents and comparing it with the extent of usage for conceptual questions, tests content validity was assured to some extent. The reliability of the test was calculated using bi-section method that according to the figures obtained for pre-test and post-test respectively (r = 0.71 and 0.68), tests have an acceptable and relatively high reliability. To analyze the data, t-test was used. The results showed that academic achievement of math and critical thinking in the test group, compared to the control group were higher and the differences between their means were significant.

Personal Variables and Anxiety in English and Mathematics: Correlational and Comparative Investigation among Pre-University Students

Literatures on the role of students’ emotion in learning have brought to light some realizations as to how teaching should transpire. This comparative and correlational research attempts to enrich further such realizations by providing more information about language and mathematics anxieties—two of the most investigated forms of anxiety. This study also correlated some profile variables such as age, sex, ethnic affiliation, and type of high school attended to the two anxieties. Involved in the investigation were 98 pre-university students who were part of the last batch of students in the Pre-University Center in the second semester of academic year 2015-2016. The reliable questionnaires used to gather data were the Abbreviated Mathematics Anxiety Rating Scale (A-MARS) and the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale. Data revealed that students have significantly higher level of mathematics anxiety compared to their language anxiety level. There was a negative correlation between the said anxieties, but it was not significant. The descriptors of mathematics anxiety showed that fear of assessment and evaluation, like final grading, upcoming tests, and taking an exam, was the main cause their anxiety. However, the language anxiety descriptors only exhibited indirect and inconclusive behavioral causes to their anxiety such as feeling like not going to their English class and thinking of other irrelevant things during the class. When profile variables were correlated with mathematics and language anxieties, only sex was found to be significantly associated with mathematics anxiety while none had a significant relationship with English language anxiety. A significant difference was also found between male and female students’ mathematics anxiety levels, showing that female students were more anxious than male ones. Findings imply that mathematics and language teachers need to improve their teaching methods and styles to alleviate, if not eliminate, students’ anxieties.

HUBUNGAN VO2 MAX DAN POWER OTOT TUNGKAI TERHADAP KECEPATAN RENANG GAYA DADA 50 METER PADA MAHASISWA PUTRA IKIP MATARAM SEMESTER GENAP TAHUN AKADEMIK 2016/2017

This research is motivated by the water sports activities, especially in swimming that has huge demands in terms of theory and practice in the learning process so that the ideas and thoughts of the intellectuals are indispensable in the development process. This study aimed to determine the correlation between VO2 max and limb muscle power toward the 50 meters breaststroke swimming speed on male students at the IKIP Mataram in the second semester of academic year 2016/2017. This study is a correlation research. It used three variables consisting of two independent variables (VO2 max and limb muscle power) and one the dependent variable (breaststroke swimming speed). The population used in this study was all male students of IKIP Mataram at the second semester of academic year 2016/2017. To facilitate the data analysis, the researcher used purposive sampling techniques based on criteria that such samples were taken as many as 30 students. The data analysis used multiple correlation analysis with significance level of 5%. The results indicate that (1) there was a significant correlation of VO2 max variable toward the 50 meters breaststroke swimming speed on male students at the IKIP Mataram in the second semester of academic year 2016/2017, it was 0.427 (2) there was no significant correlation of variable limb muscle power toward the 50 meters breaststroke swimming speed on male students at the IKIP Mataram in the second semester of academic year 2016/2017, it was 0.294 (3) there was no correlation between VO2 max and limb muscle power on male student of IKIP Mataram in the second semester of academic year 2016 / 2017, it was 0.091 (4) there was a significant correlation between VO2 max and limb muscle power to the 50 meters breaststroke swimming speed on male students at the IKIP Mataram in the second semester of academic year 2016/2017, it was 0.497

Effects of Approach Cooperative Learning Type (TPS) Think, Pair, and Share of Results of Learning Civic Education in Primary

Purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of cooperative learning approaches types think, pair, and share the learning outcomes of civics in elementary school fifth grade students. The research was conducted in Kebon Baru SDN 10 Pagi by the sample is fifth grade students in the second semester of academic year 2016-2017. Samples were taken using simple random Sampling. Technique using the experimental method. The data collection techniques performed by using a test sheet or tests performed after a given learning material. Sheet test or tests to determine student learning outcomes Civics, which had previously been done testing the validity and reliability with justification experts and analyzed with normality and homogeneity test both the control and the experimental class class. The test results showed that both classes of normality normal distribution. The test results showed that the homogeneity of both classes homogeneous. After testing requirements analysis, then tested the hypothesis by t-test calculation. Based on the results of the calculation of the t-test, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the working hypothesis (H1)is received. From these calculations it can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning approaches types think, pair, and share a significant effect on learning outcomes civics in elementary school fifth grade students. The implication of this study is the use of cooperative learning approaches types think, pair, and share in the learning can be applied Civics teachers to improve student learning outcomes.
