Peran Kegiatan Kursus Pembina Pramuka Mahir Tingkat Dasar (KMD) dalam membentuk karakter generasi muda

This research aims to determine the role of the Basic Level Scout Training Course (KMD) in shaping the character of Indonesia's young generation. Using a qualitative approach and literature study, this research highlights that KMD is not just a technical scouting course, but is also a concrete vehicle for the holistic character formation of participants. KMD integrates human values, unity, deliberation and social justice through various activities such as ceremonies, discussions and community service. The research results show that KMD is able to produce a young generation who is not only proficient in the field of scouting, but also ready to face various challenges in the future. In this context, research proposes increasing the integration of character values in KMD material as well as increasing aspects of personal guidance to ensure holistic growth. The ultimate goal of KMD is to produce scout leaders who are open to input, active in outdoor learning and coaching, work cohesively in groups, and have a positive orientation in all activities.

How Children Stop Adult Perpetrators From Unwanted Touching Within an Institutional Setting: Termination Patterns During Sexual Contact Stage.

This qualitative study analyzes victims' narratives of male-on-male child molestation within the Boy Scouts of America. The focus of previous literature on sex crime victims mostly centered on how to avoid sex offenders based on the offenders' behaviors and effective victims' treatment plans to alleviate their posttrauma as a result of sexual abuse. Yet studies have not provided detailed descriptions of when and how to resist sexual advances to children when such incidents are in progress within youth-oriented institutions. Few have examined victim narratives to discover the dynamics of child molestation, such as physical and verbal interactions between the two parties while sexual touching is occurring. The author used victims' narratives to identify how boy victims responded to unwanted sexual advances by scout leaders within the Boy Scouts of America. Based on qualitative-oriented analysis, this study presents verbal and physical resisting patterns of male victims and the effectiveness of such actions in terminating sexual advances. The findings suggest practical and potential intervention strategies so children know how to stop adult perpetrators from developing unwanted touching within youth-centric institutions.

Peran Ekstrakurikuler Kepramukaan Dalam Pembentukan Karakter Siswa di Sekolah Dasar

This research aims to determine the role of scouting extracurricular activities in forming students' independent personalities in elementary schools. The method used is descriptive qualitative with two types of literature and a literature review. The data collection technique uses the documentation method. The source of data obtained in this research is from previous journals which were created by searching for journals or books in several electronic media such as the internet, digital libraries and other collections which were then selected and analyzed further by researchers. The results of the research analysis show that Scouts activities make a positive contribution to shaping the character of independent students such as increasing self-confidence, courage, responsibility, discipline and problem-solving skills. Through various challenging and fun activities, students are trained to take initiative, think creatively and not give up easily. Support from Scout leaders and schools also plays an important role in creating a favorable environment for the development of the independent personality of students. This research concludes that out-of-school Scouting can be an effective way of instilling the values of self-confidence in primary school students.

Analisis Pelaksanaan Kegiatan Pramuka di SD Negeri 050712 Hinai Kiri

Education in elementary schools (SD) seeks to build students' social and moral character in addition to their academic skills. The Scout movement is one of the extracurricular activities that have a significant impact on character development. This research aims to examine how Scout activities are carried out at SDN 050712 Hinai Kiri, including elements of activity planning, implementation, and assessment. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data obtained through interviews, observation, and literature review. The results of the research show that overall the implementation of Scout activities at SDN 050712 Hinai Kiri went well. Scout extracurricular activities at SDN ‎‎050712 Hinai Kiri are packaged in an interesting way and make a positive contribution to the world of education. However, there are several obstacles in implementing Scout activities at SDN 050712 Hinai Kiri, namely the difficulty of scout leaders in leading classes, the program not running, and the low level of student discipline in participating in Scout activities. It is believed that the findings of this research will help schools and other related parties in improving program standards and effectiveness

Analisis Karakter Disiplin Siswa Kelas V SDN Banyuajuh 2 pada Kegiatan Ekstrakurikuler Pramuka Materi PBB

The purpose of this research is to determine the discipline characteristics of fifth-grade students at SDN Banyuajuh 2 during the scout extracurricular activities with marching rules material. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects used are fifth-grade students. Sampling in this study uses purposive sampling. The research sample consists of 6 fifth-grade students. Data collection methods include observation sheets, interviews, and documentation. The research findings are as follows: In terms of punctuality, students depart on time for scout exercises and school, as observed with all students being punctual both when going to school and during scout exercises. The students perform tasks given by the scout leader promptly. During the marching rules exercises, all students carry out the given tasks from the leader, such as following th commands related to marching rules, correctly and on time. Regarding adherence to rules, students comply with school regulations, as observed with all students adhering to school rules. This is evident from students attending classes on time and participating well. Students also contribute to maintaining environmental cleanliness by participating in cleanliness duties and disposing of waste properly. Additionally, students follow the commands of the scout leader and exhibit perfect behavior when receiving the "ready" command during the execution of marching rules exercises. In terms of wearing the prescribed uniform, including the scout uniform, scout hat, scout neckerchief, appropriate grade-specific accessories, belt, and black socks, all observed students, except for one (EF), adhere to the uniform regulations during scout exercises. The exception is student ef, who wears white socks during the second day of scout exercise observations

STRATEGI MEMBANGUN KARAKTER ISLAMI MELALUI KEGIATAN PRAMUKA DI MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH ZAINUL IRSYAD PROBOLINGGO

This research aims to examine the impact of Scout activities on the formation of students' Islamic character at the Zainul Irsyad Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Probolinggo. Islamic character education is an effort to develop noble morals and spiritual values ​​based on Islamic teachings. This research uses a qualitative approach with data sources from the school principal, scout leaders, teachers and students. The research results show that Scouting as an extracurricular activity is proven to be able to shape students' Islamic character without disrupting learning activities in the classroom. The strategies carried out by Scoutmasters include instilling the moral messages contained in the Dasadharma of Scouting. The Islamic character values ​​developed include: Religious, Responsible, Honest, Independent, Confident, Hard Work, Discipline, Healthy Lifestyle, and Cooperation.

A Deeper Look at the Boy Scouts of America "Perversion" Files: Structural Factors Related to Access and Abuse.

The Boy Scouts of America's (BSA's) Ineligible Volunteer (IV) files, commonly called the "perversion files," is a unique data set allowing researchers to examine organizational characteristics that allow for child sexual victimization. Despite the uniqueness of this data set, few researchers have examined it. The researchers examined a random sample of cases from the IV files of scout leaders who molested scouts. A situational crime theoretical model was employed as had been used in studies on the Catholic Church sexual abuse scandal, proving effective. The researchers examined randomly selected from 1980 to 1999. Of initially examined 400 randomly selected cases, only 140 held retrievable data. The majority of the 140 cases did not have scouting victims, which resulted in a reduction to 48 cases. Beyond the several scouting forms, many files contained public domain information, including newspaper articles, police reports, criminal justice records, and/or records of civil litigation. Through both the scouting documents and the public domain records, the researchers identified six BSA-specific characteristics that allowed motivated adult leaders to molest their victims. These characteristics included (a) weak or inefficient incident reporting system, (b) failure to collect and review pertinent information, (c) organizationally legitimate reasons for one-on-one contact, (d) volunteer imbalance, (e) legitimate reasons for separation from protective adults, and (f) social status as a prophylactic defense. These structural characteristics are explored through descriptive statistics and specific case studies illustrating the phenomena. When the history of the IV files came to light through litigation, the BSA was forced to reconcile its past actions and develop new preventive measures. The Boy Scouts of America implemented various actions to protect the youth. Many of these protections specifically address structural characteristics.

The Extracurricular Role of Hizbul Wathan in Shaping the Nationalist Character of Students at Ma Muhammadiyah 1 Medan

This research aims to determine the role of Hizbul Wathan extracurriculars in shaping the nationalist character of students at MA Muhammadiyah 1 Medan. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. This research was conducted at the Hizbul Wathan (HW) MA Muhammadiyah 1 Medan cohesive organization, the research subjects were the supervisors, administrators and members of HW. The findings in this study show that; 1) The HW scout leaders and members do not yet have a complete understanding of the concept of nationalism, but implicitly in running the organization the management and members have actually demonstrated the seeds of the spirit of nationalism in every planning and implementation of activities. 2) Strengthening the organization with a foundation of nationalist spirit based on state ideology and Muhammadiyah values. Through strong organizational commitment, the spirit of nationalism will flow within the HW scout members. 3) HW scout members will become nationalists. This was demonstrated in HW's scouting activities at MA Muhammadiyah 1 Medan through respecting the flag, avoiding the spread of fake news, and not being involved in negative activities. To encourage the development of national values ??and a sense of nationalism in students, HW coaches, Civics teachers, and Social Sciences teachers use varied methods supported by flag ceremonies, sports competitions, and local arts events.

The aim of this research is "Describe how trusting is students themselves through the scouting method 'Interesting and challenging activities' on Scout extracurricular node material in class II UPTD SDN Gili Timur 2 Bangkalan”. This research is a qualitative research. The type of research is field study. The population used is alert students. Samples used 1 male standby student and 1 female standby student. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation and interviews. Data validity techniques using Triangulation. The triangulation used is technical triangulation and triangulation source. Triangulation techniques for conducting observations, interviews and documentation. Triangulation of sources using student sources, scout leaders and teachers. Results From data analysis, it states that the attitude of self-confidence that emerges is self-confidence, assertiveness, responsibility and positive thinking.

Investigation of the Effect of Scout Leaders' Level of Acceptance of Differences on Their Innovative Behavior

Bu araştırmanın amacı izci liderlerinin farklılıkları kabul etme ve yenilikçi davranış düzeylerini çeşitli demografik özelliklere göre araştırmak ve onların farklılıkları kabul etmelerinin yenilikçi davranışları üzerinde bir etkisi olup olmadığını ortaya çıkarmaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Kocaeli'nde faaliyette bulunan 166 izci lideri oluşturmuştur. Araştırmaya 82 kadın ve 84 erkek izci katılmıştır. Katılımcılar çoğunlukla genç ve bekârdır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak “Farklılıkları Kabul Etme Ölçeği” ve “Yenilikçi Davranış Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA), Bağımsız Örneklem T-Testi, Korelasyon Analizi ve Çoklu Regresyon Analizi uygulanmıştır. Bu kapsamda; farklı dini/etnik yapıları kabul etme medeni duruma göre değişmektedir. Farklı dış görünüşleri kabul etme cinsiyete göre farklılaşmaktadır. Statü göz önüne alındığında farklı dini/etnik yapıları kabul etme konusunda farklılık görülmüştür. Statü farklı düşünceleri/değerleri kabul etme konusunda da rol oynamaktadır. Farklı dini/etnik yapıların kabulü ve farklı düşüncelerin/değerlerin kabulü açısından cinsiyete göre anlamlı bir fark yoktur. İzci olarak görev süresi yenilikçi davranış sergilemede farklılık gösterir. Yenilikçi davranış açısından cinsiyet, medeni durum, yaş ve statüye göre anlamlı bir fark yoktur. Farklılıkları kabul etmenin üç boyutunun da yenilikçi davranış üzerinde bir etkisi olmadığı görülmüştür.

The large number of cases of abuse of power committed by leaders is a big challenge for future generations of the nation. Instilling leadership character in student needs to be implemented from now on. Character cultivation can be done at school, one example is by taking part in extracurricular activities in scouts. The role of scouting activities has a huge influence on the development of students' character, from discipline to love of the country. One of the schools that has implemented mandatory extracurricular activities is SMP Negeri 30 Muaro Jambi. This research intends to look for an overview of good management strategies to shape leadership character through scout extracurriculars. The research method uses qualitative research, data will be obtained descriptively. The data obtained was obtained from school principals and scout leaders as informants. Implementation was carried out from August to October, research was carried out on student activities both indoors and outdoors. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The implementation of scout extracurricular management strategies to shape leadership character at SMP Negeri 30 Muaro Jambi goes through four stages, namely planning, organizing, implementing, supervising. The planning stage begins with recruitment by the school principal, preparing a work program, and preparing materials. Organizing is carried out by giving responsibility to the parties concerned, namely the principal, deputy principal for student affairs, homeroom teacher, and scoutmaster. Implementation is carried out once a week and the camp activity program is carried out 3 times a year. Supervision is carried out to analyze scout extracurricular activities so that the next activities will be carried out even better

Building the scale of the scouting curriculum in the Ministry of Education from the point of view of the leaders who bear the wooden badge in Iraq

The research aimed to build a measure of the reality of the scouting curriculum in the Ministry of Education, and the researchers followed the descriptive survey approach to suit it with the nature of the research. The General Directorates of Education and those affiliated to the Ministry of Education, and the research sample was chosen from (152) scout leaders. The researchers carried out the process of statistical analysis of the expressions of the scale to ensure the availability of the scientific conditions for the scale represented by the validity and reliability, and the researchers adopted the Likert method in building the questionnaire of the scale, and the scale consisted of (67) items, in the final form after the construction process.

Evaluation of Character Education Strengthening Program through Scouts Extra in KKSC (Kisada Kids Scout Camp) Activities Using Countenance Evaluation at MIS Ushuluddin Singkawang

<em>This research aimed to evaluate the KKSC program at MIS Ushuluddin Singkawang using the Countenance Stake model.</em><em> </em><em>KKSC is a camp held by MIS Ushuluddin to develop children's character through Scout activities.</em><em> </em><em>This research was a program evaluation study using a qualitative descriptive approach.</em><em> </em><em>The evaluation model used was the Countenance Stake model involving three stages, namely the antecedent, transaction, and outcomes stages.</em><em> </em><em>This research was conducted at MIS Ushuluddin Singkawang.</em><em> </em><em>Data collection techniques used documentation, observation and direct interviews with scout leaders, homeroom teachers, parents, and students at MIS Ushuluddin Singkawang.</em><em> </em><em>The results of the research found that KKSC activities as one of the Scouting activities in the context of strengthening student character at MIS Ushuluddin Singkawang had gone well, both in terms of planning and implementation, resulting in good strengthening of character education as expected.</em>

Evaluation of the Countenance Stake Model Program For The Implementation of Bogor Scouts At An-Nur Darunnajah 8 Cidokom Bogor West Java

Coaching is essentially an activity or activity that is carried out consciously, planned, directed and organized responsibly in order to develop and improve, abilities and resources available to achieve goals. This research is a way to evaluate the Cub Scout Leader program at An-Nur Darunnajah 8 Cidokom Islamic Boarding School This research is an evaluation research with the Countenace Stake model. Data collection using techniques, observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods supported through data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with Majlis daily Coordinator and Scoutmaster. Based on this research, the planning of scout coaches has been conceptualized very well, it can be calculated at 100%, because it is in accordance with the central government guidelines. In terms of implementation obtained with a good category, it can be calculated at 88.89%. Of the four aspects evaluated including: Program Implementation, Process Planning, Implementation of the Cub Scout coaching process, Process Assessment, almost all aspects have been fulfilled by the An-Nur Darunnajah 8 Islamic Boarding School. The evaluation results show that all aspects of the results of the evaluation of the implementation or implementation of the Cub Scout Leader Role program have been fulfilled by the An-Nur Darunnajah 8 Islamic Boarding School. Obtained in the sufficient category, can be calculated at 75%. This can be seen from the existence of skills between students and scout coaches as well as the timeliness of the coaches and the presence of coaches in learning.

The Practice Degree of Scouting Activities of Upper Basic Education Grades in the Public Schools in Jordan based on Radar Methodology from the Viewpoint of Male Scout leaders and female Guides

The study aimed at identifying the practice degree of scouting activities of upper basic education grades in the public schools in Jordan based on Radar methodology from the viewpoint of male scout leaders and female guides. The sample cosisted of (600) leaders.To achieve the goal of the study, a questionnaire developed consisting of (50) items in the four fields of: (leadership, politics and strategy, individuals, the partnership and resources), the validity and reliability of the questionnaire was assured.
 The results of the study concluded that the practice degree of scouting activities of upper basic education grades in the public schools in Jordan based on Radar Methodology from the viewpoint of male scout leaders and female guides came moderate in general, Also the results showed that, there were significant differences due to the variable of scout qualification and variable of geographical location.
