INVESTIGATION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LEISURE TIME MANAGEMENT AND QUALITY OF LIFE IN TERMS OF INTERGENERATIONAL DIFFERENCES

This study was conducted to examine the relationship between leisure time management and the quality of life of individuals of different generations who have received sports education and are still continuing their education. The population of the study consists of individuals who are currently studying or graduated from the Faculty of Sports Sciences and Physical Education and Sports School in Istanbul province. As the sample group, Istanbul Topkapı University, Marmara University, and Istanbul Cerrahpaşa University were selected because they have applied units (Faculty of Sports Sciences and School of Physical Education Sports). A total of 318 students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences and School of Physical Education and Sports who were studying and graduated from these universities participated voluntarily. After the participants were informed about the scales, the data were collected. The data were analysed in a computer environment using SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences) programme. The normal distribution of the scores was analysed by examining normal distribution curves, skewness kurtosis values, normal distribution curves employing histograms, and Kolmogorov-Smirnov test values used when the group size is greater than 50. As a result of the skewness and kurtosis analyses of the data, it was determined that the data were suitable for parametric test conditions. In the analysis of the data, frequency, arithmetic mean and standard deviation; independent group t-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used to examine the differences between variables, and the Tukey test, one of the Post Hoc tests, was used to determine between which groups the difference occurred. As a result of the statistics obtained; a significant difference was found in the sub-dimensions of Goal Setting and Method sub-dimensions of the leisure time management scale according to the generations of the participants. Determining the Anticipation Times of Athletes Participating and Non-Participating in Volleyball, Handball, and Basketball School Sports at Secondary Schools

The aim of this study is to find out the anticipation times of fifth-to eighth-grade students who participate and those who do not participate in school sports in volleyball, handball, and basketball in secondary schools, and also to determine whether the anticipation time varies according to gender, different speeds and sports experience of students participating in school sports. A total of 267 athletes (150 girls and 117 boys) participated in volleyball, handball, and basketball from the 5th to 8th grades of secondary schools, and a total of 214 athletes (90 girls and 124 boys) who did not participate in school sports in these branches were studied. The “Basin Anticipation Timer” device measured the anticipation time. As a result of the analysis, it was found that female students participating in school sports have better anticipation time than that of male students. The anticipation times of students participating in school sports were determined at speeds of 5 m/s and 8 eight m/s with average constant, absolute, and variable errors of (0.018, 0.044, 0.059) and (0.017, 0.041, 0.055), respectively. Even though the 8 m/s error results seem better than the 5 m/s results, no statistically significant difference was found between them.

The Associations between the Number of School Sports Teams That a Student Regularly Participates in and Factors Such as Perceived Stress, Loneliness, and Sleep Satisfaction among Korean Adolescents Who Have Attempted Suicide.

Adolescents who have attempted suicide are more likely to experience a recurrence of suicidal behavior, thus necessitating systematic follow-ups and management. We aimed to investigate the association between the number of school sports teams that a student regularly participates in and psychological factors such as perceived stress, loneliness, and sleep satisfaction among 1393 Korean adolescents who have attempted suicide by using data from the 2022 Korea Youth Risk Behavior Survey. Frequency analyses were performed to evaluate participant characteristics. Chi-square analyses were used to examine the differences in participant characteristics according to the number of teams. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to examine the associations between the number of teams and perceived stress, loneliness, and sleep satisfaction. Our results indicated that participating in a greater number of sports teams at school was more strongly associated with reduced perceived stress, reduced loneliness, and increased sleep satisfaction. Specifically, the odds ratio (OR) for feeling very much stressed was 0.613 (range: 0.387-0.969; p = 0.036) among the participants who belonged to one team. Among those who belonged to two teams, the OR for feeling very much stressed was 0.482 (range: 0.281-0.286; p = 0.008). Among those who belonged to two teams, the OR for feeling a lot of stress was 0.514 (range: 0.304-0.870; p = 0.013), and that for not feeling much stress was 2.663 (range: 1.103-6.426; p = 0.029). The OR for not feeling much stress was 4.697 for those who belonged to three teams (range: 1.531-14.408; p = 0.007) and 6.671 for those who belonged to four or more teams (range: 1.858-23.953; p = 0.004). The OR for feeling no stress at all was 11.629 (range: 2.229-60.661; p = 0.004) for those who belonged to three teams and 93.531 (range: 19.260-454.207; p < 0.001) for those who belonged to four or more teams. In terms of loneliness, the OR for rarely feeling lonely was 2.651 (range: 1.148-6.123; p = 0.022) among those who belonged to one team. The OR for feeling lonely all the time was 0.370 (range: 0.155-0.884; p = 0.025) among those who belonged to two teams. In terms of sleep satisfaction, the OR for having very sufficient sleep was 4.371 (range: 1.627-11.742; p = 0.003) for those who belonged to four or more teams. These results suggest that school sports are an advantageous tool for suicide prevention, given their low costs, absence of side effects, and ease of participation.

Increasing the Results of Bullet Rejection Skills Using the Jigsaw Learning Method

This study aims to evaluate the impact of using the Jigsaw learning method in improving students' shot put skill outcomes. The Jigsaw method is applied in a classroom environment to facilitate group collaboration, where students are given the responsibility to learn a particular aspect of the shot put technique and then teach it to the rest of the group. The study involved observation of the learning process, evaluation of skill progress, and analysis of student responses using the PTK (class action research) method to students SMK Tamansiswa, Mojoagung, Kab. Jombang, with a total of 38 students. The results showed a significant improvement from the pre-cycle which was complete 5 students with 13.2%, incomplete 33 students and 86.8%. In cycle 1, 13 students with 34.2% were complete, while 25 students with 65.8% were incomplete. In cycle 2 100%, in students' in-depth understanding of the shot put technique, increased collaboration between students, and higher learning motivation. These results highlight the potential of the Jigsaw method as an effective approach in improving classroom skills in the sport of shot put. This study provides a foundation for further integration of collaborative learning methods in the context of teaching sport in schools

Relationship between perceived enjoyment, exercise commitment and behavioral intention among adolescents participating in "School Sport Club".

This study aimed to examine ways to improve the quality of physical activity (PA) to address social problems related to obesity and being overweight among adolescents, through an educational approach. In this regard, the current study identified associations between factors that lead to sustained PA participation among middle school students participating in school sports club activities, and derived academic implications that can be incorporated into future school education programs. The researchers explored the relationship between perceived enjoyment, exercise commitment, and behavioral intention in middle school sports club participants. The subjects of the study were selected as middle school students who had participated in school sports clubs for more than 6 months. Using convenience sampling, 350 datasets were collected from middle school students living in metropolitan cities in South Korea. Finally, 336 datasets were used for the final analysis after eliminating 14 questionnaires that were judged to be incorrectly indicated or incomplete. Frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and reliability verification (Cronbach's α) were conducted. The findings were as follows: first, among the sub-factors of perceived enjoyment, the following were found to have a positive relationship with cognitive commitment: daily escape (β = 0.259), competitive victory (β = 0.228), interpersonal relationships (β = 0.204), and physical fitness (β = 0.119). Furthermore, among the sub-factors of perceived fun, physical health (β = 0.330), daily escape (β = 0.205), interpersonal relationships (β = 0.307), and competitive victory (β = 0.228) had positive relationships with behavioral commitment. Second, among the sub-factors of perceived enjoyment, physical health (β = 0.423), interpersonal relations (β = 0.139), and daily escape (β = 0.138) were found to have a positive association with behavioral intention. On the other hand, there was no significant relationship between competitive winning (β = 0.071) and behavioral intention. Third, behavioral commitment (β = 0.237) and cognitive commitment (β = 0.183) were confirmed to have a significant positive relationship with behavioral intention. These findings highlight that middle school students' perceived enjoyment from participating in school sports clubs is a positive factor leading to increased immersion in sports activities and a sufficient basis for continuing sports activities. Furthermore, class organization, environmental factors, and appropriate instructional content for school sports club activities are essential for exercise commitment.

‘It’s a bit tough when you’re just trying to have fun’: gendered practices of school sport surfing in France and California

ABSTRACT The provision of sports opportunities for youths in schools has expanded beyond traditional competitive offerings, with activities such as skateboarding and surfing now considered important avenues for youth development. This trend follows the recent expansion of action or ‘lifestyle’ sports provision into various community and educational contexts. This paper concomitantly explores how surfing, in particular, is now being formally utilised by schools as a viable sporting opportunity for both boys and girls. Research is lacking in terms of understanding how activities such as surfing may promote specific gender relations. This line of research is critical given that surfing in its unstructured format typically privileges masculine ideals and codes of practice, with women being considered secondary participants. In this paper, then, we highlight data findings about gender relations based on a study of boys’ and girls’ surfing programmes located in coastal regions of California and France. Through our interrogation of semi-structured interview and field observation data, we illustrate how school-based programmes that incorporate surfing served to reproduce gendered hierarchies and power relationships during training sessions and competitions.

Perceived Physical Competence, Self-Esteem, and Leadership among Girls: A Program Evaluation of GOALS (Girls Organizing and Learning Sport)

This study evaluated a leadership-based physical activity program, Girls Organizing and Learning Sport (GOALS), by assessing changes in health behaviours, physical competence, self-esteem, and leadership. Of the 466 participants who enrolled in the program, 102 (22%) completed a pre-and post-program survey containing questions concerning demographics, physical activity, physical competence, self-esteem, and leadership. The GOALS program was held twice (fall 2022/winter 2023) and consisted of two-hour weekly sessions over four weeks at nine different locations. Paired-sample t-tests, Chi-squares, and one-way ANOVA tests were utilized to analyze differences before and after the GOALS program. Results revealed that more participants were involved in school sports, community sports, and regular physical activity post-program (all p’s &lt; 0.05). A significant difference was also observed between pre-and post-test scores for physical competence and self-esteem (p’s &lt; 0.05). However, the program did not elicit changes in health behaviours or total leadership scores (all p’s &gt; 0.05). Moreover, significant results were observed between physical competence difference scores and those who care for their health by exercising (p = 0.025), leadership difference scores and those who take care of their health by exercising (p = 0.044), self-esteem difference scores by program location (p = 0.001), and physical competence difference scores by ethnicity (p = 0.003). Overall, further research into the design, administration, and targeted outcomes is recommended for future sessions.

Associations between physical activity, mental health concerns, eating disorder symptoms, and emotional intelligence in adolescent athletes transitioning from COVID-19

BackgroundIt is well known that COVID-19 significantly disrupted the routines of school sports for adolescent athletes. In transitioning from this “change event,” athletes may need support with resuming their pre-pandemic level of activities, and addressing their ongoing mental health concerns, including exacerbated eating disorder symptoms. Emotional intelligence (the ability to understand emotions, influencing decisions and motivation) is a factor that has not yet been studied during this transition, but may serve as a coping mechanism for altered physical activity, mental health, and eating disorder symptoms.MethodsParticipants of the study included 315 Iranian adolescent athletes who transitioned back to 1 of 10 sports post quarantine restrictions (January 2022–January 2023). Physical activity and related stages of motivation for behavioral change were assessed by the Physical Activity Stages of Change Questionnaire, mental health concerns were assessed by the General Health Questionnaire-28, eating disorder symptoms were assessed by the Eating Attitudes Test-26, and emotional intelligence was assessed by the Schutte Self-Report Emotional Intelligence Test.ResultsA three-way Multivariate Analysis of Variance (MANOVA) was conducted in order to test the overall differences between the 5 physical activity and behavioral change motivation groups (Pre-Contemplation, Contemplation, Preparation, Action, and Maintenance) on each of the 3 health measures (mental health concerns, eating disorder symptoms, and emotional intelligence); significant main effects were found for each measure. Fischer’s Least Significant Difference Post-Hoc Test indicated that there were significant differences between the Pre-Contemplation and Preparation groups, as well as the Preparation and Action groups, on all of the health measure mean variable scores, which contributed to the MANOVA significant main effects.ConclusionsParticipants in the Pre-Contemplation group (not intending to make behavioral changes within the next 6 months) had less mental health, higher eating pathology, and lower emotional intelligence, compared to participants who were in the Preparation group (intending to make behavioral changes within the next 1 month). Similarly, participants in the Preparation group had less mental health, higher eating pathology, and lower emotional intelligence, compared to participants who were in the Action group (has made specific, overt behavioral changes within the preceding 6 months). Overall, the findings from the current study highlight the need for sports professionals working with adolescent athletes transitioning from COVID-19 to monitor these aspects of mental, eating, and emotional health. Given that those in earlier motivation stages had more health concerns compared to those in later stages, professionals should encourage progression from the Pre-Contemplation to Action/Maintenance stage in order to improve health outcomes.

Exploring resistance to change in Chinese children's sports schools: An analysis of multiple external and internal perspectives

The development of sports in children is crucial. Unlike European and American sports clubs, China uses children's sports schools as its main form of competitive sports training. However, with the changing economy and mindset in China, this approach is facing challenges and is in urgent need of changes allowing the school and its internal staff to be more sustainable as they can adapt and survive in the overall market. This change means that such schools can no longer simply rely on government assistance but rather must be more in tune with the market economy and gain competitiveness. Zhangjiakou, China, one of the host cities for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, has a good overall sports atmosphere. Its municipal government attaches importance to sports development, including children's sports, with several children's sports schools that are typical of this study. Accordingly, seven Zhangjiakou sports schools were selected for investigation through field research and sampling. Moreover, the sources of resistance to change in Zhangjiakou children's sports schools were analyzed from multiple perspectives, including external politics and economy, internal group and individual perspectives, using data from questionnaires and in-depth interviews.

Development of physical qualities of athletes aged 9-11

Background: Great importance is paid to the physical development of school children, the positive influence of physical culture for the growth and development of children has been proven. At the same time, indicators in sports schools are falling due to insufficient development of physical qualities. The problem requires studying and improving the training process of athletes.&#x0D; The aim of the study: To increase the effectiveness of the training process of athletes aged 9-11 years due to the development of certain motor qualities.&#x0D; Study design: Pedagogical experiment.&#x0D; Research methods: The pedagogical experiment was conducted on the basis of the Olympic Reserve School number 1 (Kirov, Russia) from August to November 2022. The study involved children aged 9-11 years. 2 groups were formed: experimental and control consisting of 25 boys each. Classes were held 3 times a week. Children from the control group were engaged in the usual program, and children from the experimental group performed exercises to develop physical qualities. The complex was used for 10 weeks. Tests that were used in the study: Long jump from a place, Shuttle run 3 x 10m, Squats for 30 seconds, Hand strength, Leaning forward from a sitting position.&#x0D; Results: After the study, the experimental group was ahead of the control group in almost all indicators. In the long jump test, the difference between the experimental and control groups was 2.3cm (P&lt;0.05). In the test, the shuttle run is 3x10m, the difference is 0.5 sec (P&lt;0.05). In the “Squat for 30 seconds” test, the difference is 1.6 squats (P&lt;0.05). In the test, the brush strength is 2 kg difference (P&lt;0.05). There is no difference in the forward tilt test at the end of the experiment (P&gt;0.05). Comparison of the results of the children of the control and experimental groups at the end of the pedagogical experiment indicates the superiority of the children of the experimental group. Thus, analyzing the results of testing the physical fitness of athletes aged 9-11, we can talk about the positive impact of the methodology proposed during the pedagogical experiment for the development of physical qualities of younger athletes.&#x0D; Conclusion: If a set of exercises aimed at developing physical qualities is purposefully applied in sports schools in working with children aged 9-11 years, then the indicators of children will improve significantly. IMPLEMENTING OF BOXING ELEMENTS IN THE PROCESS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION IN GENERAL SECONDARY EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN EUROPE AND UKRAINE

Introduction. The lack of physical activity among the youth of Ukraine is increasing every year. In recent years, there has been an increasing trend of lack of interest among students in physical education classes. This is due to the fact that the content of physical education lessons at school is not interesting and of little use, it has hardly changed since the independence of Ukraine, and there are also no sports for students to choose from. One of the ways to modernize the content of the physical education process is the inclusion in the program of the subject "Physical culture" of exercises borrowed from such a sport as boxing [7, 8, 9]. The aim of the study is to analyze and summarize the application of boxing elements in the process of physical education in educational institutions in European countries. Material and methods: analysis and synthesis of data from scientific-methodical literature sources and informative data from the Internet to clarify the key features of using boxing elements in general secondary education institutions in Europe. Results. In many European countries, boxing as a school sport is becoming more and more popular, it is often recognized as a valuable tool not only for the physical development of students, but also for improving discipline and self-confidence [7, 9]. The combination of physical activity and thinking makes boxing an exciting sport that goes far beyond the simple study of punching techniques. In this article, we will consider the prospects of using boxing tools in the process of physical education and emphasize the numerous advantages. Conclusions. Based on the analysis of the experience of implementing boxing into the physical education process in educational institutions in Switzerland, Germany, and Ukraine, it can be concluded that integrating boxing into the physical education curriculum in educational institutions can make a significant contribution to enhancing the physical education process in Ukraine.

The Value, Dilemma and Countermeasures of Online Teaching in School Sports in the Post-Epidemic Period

Overweight and Obesity Among In-School Children and Adolescents (5-19 Years) in Ghana: A Scoping Review of Prevalence and Risk Factors.

Overweight and obesity are linked to the severity of infections and the development of chronic conditions among children and adolescents in Ghana. Hence, estimating the current prevalence and its determinants is imperative to guide public health interventions. This review mapped evidence on the prevalence and determinants of overweight and obesity among in-school children and adolescents (aged 5-19 years) in Ghana. Three main databases (PubMed, Central, and JSTOR) were searched for studies conducted in Ghana. Also, the study included only studies published online between 2010 and 2022. The search produced 1214 records, with an additional 23 identified through a search conducted in Google, Google Scholar, the WHO library, HINARI, and institutional repositories. After a thorough screening, 24 records were synthesized. The prevalence of overweight/obesity among the 23,663 in-school children and adolescents in Ghana was 0.5%-47.06%. Females have higher odds of being overweight than males. In addition, lack of nutrition and physical activity (PA) knowledge and low participation in school sports and physical activities exposed in-school children and adolescents in Ghana to overweight and obesity. Consumption of unhealthy foods, late bed, smoking, loneliness, watching television, and playing computer games exposed schoolchildren and adolescents in Ghana to overweight and obesity. There are relatively high levels of overweight and obesity among school-going children and adolescents in Ghana. Addressing sex gaps in PA, ensuring healthy eating, and limiting sedentary lifestyles is the surest way to promote healthy weight among in-school children and adolescents in Ghana.

Knowledge of genetic predisposition to certain types of sport activities will help improve the development of important physical qualities, and will also allow of scientifically based selection of the most promising athletes and adjustment of their training process. The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between polymorphic variants of the ADRB2 (Adrenoceptor Beta 2) and PPARGC1A (Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor Gamma Coactivator 1-Alpha) genes associated with endurance in athletes involved in jiu-jitsu and freestyle wrestling and schoolchildren not involved in sports. The sample for the investigation included 100 people, divided into Group I, which included martial artists, and a comparison group (Group II), which consisted of schoolchildren who did not participate sports. Studies were conducted using real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) in subjects aged 10 to 16 years, and polymorphisms G/A of the PPARGC1A gene (rs8192678) and A/G of the ADRB2 gene (rs1042713) were identified. An analysis of the relationship between allelic variants of genes in martial artists and the comparison group was carried out. Significant differences were established between Group I and Group II for genotype G/G (Fop 3.13&gt;1.96 at p=0.05) and genotype G/A (Fop 2.76&gt;1.96 at p=0.05) of the PPARGC1A gene. For athletes involved in jiu-jitsu and freestyle wrestling, it has been shown that genotypes G/G and G/A of the PPARGC1A gene can be used as markers to predict the formation of the physical quality endurance. The frequency of the total genetic score (TGS) calculated for the physical quality endurance based on the polymorphism of the ADRB2 and PPARGC1A genes in 100 subjects, varied from 0 to 100. Genetic analysis data is necessary in the process of training martial artists in sports schools: based on this data, it is possible to create individual training programs taking into account the genotype and physical fitness characteristics of a particular athlete.

Inclusion of Female Muslim Students in Sports and Games in Islamic Schools: Standpoints of Teachers and Muslim Parents in Mampong Municipality, Ghana.

The impact of Muslim parents on their daughters’ sports and games in inclusion varies, spanning from progressive endorsement due to the physical and social advantages to reservations grounded in traditions and religious convictions. This has culminated in limited Muslim female inclusion in sporting events. This study explored the inclusion of female Muslim students in sports and games in Islamic schools using a qualitative research approach with 20 participants, which include 10 teachers and 10 parents. Concerning parents’ and Islamic teachers’ perceptions of Muslim females’ inclusion in sports and games, three core thematic areas were revealed: positive influence on character development, school for Important Skills, and secret Code for Success, which favourably influences the diverse development of Muslim girls. Numerous considerations at individual levels of the Social Ecological Model (SEM) influence parental decisions about Muslim female sports inclusion. Individually, parental choices are induced by weighty factors, including religious convictions (prayer periods), cultural principles, and modesty concerns. The study further unearths how teachers shape the sports climate at the organisational level. The organisation’s endeavours to provide inclusive and supportive settings for Muslim female girls are shown in the adaptation of activities, deliberate education and awareness promotion, partnership promotion and incorporation of scientific notions into sporting events. As sports are seen as important educational instruments for fostering the development of Muslim female students, they must be integrated into the curriculum. Stakeholders in the education sector must collaborate to guarantee Muslim female students receive a fair opportunity to excel in sports and games while respecting their cultural and religious beliefs utilising these synchronised initiatives.

Sex Differences and Association Between Modified Balance Error Scoring System Error and Sway Index Scores in Collegiate, Club Sport, and High School Athletes

The Modified Balance Error Scoring System (mBESS) remains the standard balance tool for evaluating sport-related concussion. Discrepancies between error and objective sway scoring remain a topic of assessment measures. The purpose was to examine sex differences between error and sway index scores and association between scores on the mBESS in collegiate and high school athletes. 119 athletes completed the mBESS on a Biodex BioSway. Measures consisted of mBESS errors and sway index scores produced by the BioSway. No sex differences were observed on mBESS errors and sway index scores by competition level and the overall sample. Moderate associations were observed between error and sway index scoring for single and tandem stances.

Impact Deceleration Differences on Natural Grass Versus Synthetic Turf High School Football Fields

American football has the highest rate of concussions in United States high school sports. Within American football, impact against the playing surface is the second-most common mechanism of injury. The objective of this study was to determine if there is a difference in impact deceleration between natural grass and synthetic turf high school football fields. A Century Body Opponent Bag (BOB) manikin was equipped with a Riddell football helmet and 3 accelerometers were placed on the forehead, apex of the head, and right ear. The manikin was dropped from a stationary position onto its front, back, and left side onto natural grass (n = 10) and synthetic turf (n = 9) outdoor football fields owned and maintained by public and private institutions on O‘ahu, Hawai‘i. Data was collected on 1,710 total drops. All accelerometers in forward and backward falls, and 1 accelerometer in side falls showed significantly greater impact deceleration on synthetic turf compared to the natural grass surfaces (P &lt; .05). The results of this study provide evidence-based rationale to inform youth sports policies, particularly those aimed at injury prevention through safer playing environments and equipment.

Abstract The integration of ethnic area sports culture and college sports teaching in the multicultural environment is the inevitable development of education and teaching in the new era. This paper combines the analysis of the impact of the school sports curriculum in a multicultural environment and the form of development of sports culture, combines the sports culture of ethnic areas with college volleyball teaching in order to promote the implementation of sports ideological and political education in colleges and universities and to realize the development of differences and unity in the context of multivariate evaluation of college volleyball teaching. Combine the objectives of college volleyball teaching with the national sports culture to construct the volleyball course content system. Propose methods for training teachers, create a knowledge map of college volleyball teaching materials, and use the enhanced TF-IDF algorithm to extract keywords and increase volleyball teaching resource allocation. Statistics of volleyball teaching in colleges and universities integrating national sports culture, analyzing the influence of learning atmosphere*teaching level, learning atmosphere*attention on the cultivation of national sports culture. Combine the improvement of volleyball skills, physical quality, and independent learning ability before and after teaching to analyze the advantages of college volleyball teaching that integrates ethnic sports culture. The overall mean value of “the current situation of volleyball teaching integrating ethnic sports culture” is 8.97, which is at a good level. In the three dimensions of learning motivation, learning process, and learning outcome, the P-value of the experimental class and the control class is less than or equal to 0.05, which indicates that the students in the experimental class are better than the students in the control class in the three dimensions of independent learning ability in sports. Volleyball teaching that integrates the sports culture of ethnic regions has the beneficial effect of promoting the development of sports culture as well as enhancing the development of students’ volleyball skills.
