The focus of this study is to explain the situational and transformational leadership models that exist in the Principal of SMAK Yos Sudarso Batu. The leadership models that can be observed from this school principal are situational leadership and transformational leadership. These two terms are quite foreign to the ears, because they are rarely mentioned in an organization or institution that are encountered on a daily basis. This leadership model is an expression of how Principal Yos Sudarso is in the organization or foundation he leads. This study aims to describe and analyze the basis, character, and pattern of situational and transformational leadership of school principals. The researcher uses descriptive qualitative method which produces data in the form of words and in writing or verbally from the people and observed behavior. The findings of this study are that a leader who lives a situational and transformational leadership model is a leader who is able to set clear, specific and measurable organizational goals. Cooperative, capable and militant leader. This leader also has a strong determination and commitment, is able to create synergies within the organization and is able to mobilize all member resources.

Student creativity development: The role of teacher innovation and intrapreneurial school culture

The entrepreneurial leadership of school principals is a top priority for developing teacher innovation. Creativity and innovation in economic learning also need to be developed in an intrapreneurial-based culture. This study aims to investigate the interconnectedness between school principals’ intrapreneurial leadership and teacher Innovation, and examine the role of creativity and school culture of public high school teachers in Indonesia. This research was conducted using a survey method in three public high schools in Jakarta of Indonesia. A simple random sampling method was applied to identify the participants of this research, which comprised 100 teachers. Teacher innovation is measured through developing methods, strategy, services, and opportunities. Principal intrapreneurship is measured through leadership daring to take risks, providing opportunity, being proactive, and developing technology. The school culture variables are also measured in values, applicable norms, tradition, and confidence. The data followed validity and reliability analysis, and it was tested using multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that the principal’s intrapreneurial leadership and school culture positively affect teacher innovation, either partially or simultaneously. Therefore, for the development of teacher innovation, there is a need to develop principal’s Intrapreneurial Leadership with risk-related courage, as well as school culture on compliance with applicable norms in work organizations.

Model Kepemimpinan Digital Kepala Sekolah di Era Teknologi

Currently, transformation has occurred so quickly, the Industrial Revolution Era was one of the eras of very rapid technological development. With the rapid development of technology, various knowledge, new skills, and new leadership have been born in realizing the competitiveness of an educational institution. This article aims to describe the leadership of school principals in the technological era. The writing of this article uses a qualitative descriptive approach (library research), by conducting a careful review of some material and leadership theory. The results of the study show that: 1) a leader or leaders in the technological era in order to bring a team to a better realm, must master 10 (ten) skill models namely complex problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, management ability, coordination, emotional intelligence , making policies/decisions, service orientation, negotiation, and cognitive flexibility; 2) There are digital leadership characteristics that exist in a school principal in the Technology Age, including: responsibility and innovation in order to direct the organization to transform towards digital; 3) The implementation of digital leadership in educational institutions, of course, must be carried out by a Principal with several stages, namely: The emerging, implementing, instilling and transforming stages, and 4C, namely; critical in thinking and able to generate solutions, communication, collaborative, as well as creative and innovative.

Transformational Leadership: The Practice of Principals in Islamic Schools

The purpose of this study was to analyze and find formulations of change leadership practices in Islamic schools at SD Khadijah Surabaya and SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo in responding to educational demands and changes. Using a qualitative approach to the type of multi-case study, data were collected through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis through a single case to multi-case findings with an interactive model through data reduction, presentation and conclusion. Data validations used member check, source and method triangulation. The research findings showed that the practice of Islamic school principal leadership was carried out through strengthening the school's vision and mission by making organizational values the school's goals, seeing change as a challenge by making changes to aspects of the curriculum, and collaborating with educational institutions at the national, regional and international levels

Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Perempuan dalam Meningkatkan Kerjasama Guru: Analisis Penerapan Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional

This study aims to analyze the leadership of female school principals to improve teacher cooperation. The focus of the study on the application of the transformational leadership style in terms of its implementation phase. This research was conducted at Al-Huda Islamic Elementary School, for two reasons, namely the principal of the school is a woman and the image of the school is popular and very popular with the community. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The data is then analyzed with cycles of data collection, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study revealed that the implementation of transformational leadership in Al-Huda Islamic Elementary School went through two phases namely, first the leader was able to carry himself and fully understand being a personal leader which was implemented through: leader awareness and understanding the epistemology of leadership. Both leaders are able to influence and form cooperation with followers which is implemented through: providing work motivation, effective communication, being able to set an example, stimulate, and establish friendships.

Ortaokul Müdürlerinin Stratejik Liderlikleri ve Kriz Yönetimi Becerileri

Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmenlerin algılarına göre ortaokul müdürlerinin stratejik liderlikleri ve kriz yönetimi becerilerini tespit etmek ve aralarında anlamlı bir ilişkinin olup olmadığı belirlemektir. Araştırmanın evrenini 2020-2021 eğitim öğretim yılında İzmir ili Buca ilçesindeki toplam 27 resmi ortaokul ve bu okullarda çalışmakta olan 1430 öğretmen oluşturmuştur. Bu çalışmada, uygun/ kazara örnekleme yönteminden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 313 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada “Stratejik Liderlik Ölçeği” ve “İlköğretim Okulu Müdürlerinin Kriz Yönetim Becerileri Ölçeği” olmak üzere iki ölçek kullanılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin demografik özelliklerine (cinsiyet, medeni durum, yaş, hizmet yılı, eğitim düzeyi, branş) ek olarak kullanılan ölçeklerden biri “Stratejik Liderlik Ölçeği” 35 maddeden oluşmaktadır, diğeri “İlköğretim Okulu Müdürlerinin Kriz Yönetim Becerileri Ölçeği” 31 maddeden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma bulguları sonucunda, okul müdürlerinin stratejik liderlik ve kriz yönetimi becerilerine ilişkin algıları olumlu görülmüştür. Stratejik liderlik ve kriz yönetimi becerileri alt boyutları arasında anlamlı, pozitif ilişkiler belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca okul müdürlerinin stratejik liderlikleri, kriz yönetimi becerilerini anlamlı şekilde yordamaktadır.

Principal Leadership in Improving Teacher Performance in Schools

The school principal is the leader in an educational institution unit using team work, who is entrusted by the institution to lead the school and motivate work, teach, organize, mobilize and direct, for the achievement of educational goals. This study uses a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. This study aims to describe the principal's leadership in improving teacher performance. In the learning process the teacher is seen as having an important role especially in helping students to develop their potential in cognitive, affective and psychomotor abilities, the teacher also seeks to arouse curiosity, encourage independence and accuracy of intellectual logic, and create conditions for success in learning. Teacher performance can be seen and measured based on competency specifications/criteria that must be possessed by each teacher. can be displayed through the mastery of pedagogic, professional, personality and social competencies. Considering that the leadership and work motivation of school principals on teacher performance provides a correlation, it is suggested to school institutions, that teachers can improve performance as can be seen from their responsibilities in carrying out the professional duties they carry.

The Effect of Increasing the Leadership of School Principals on the Performance of Education Staff in Wajo District

This research was conducted to find out: (1) the leadership of the heads of state vocational schools in Wajo district; (2) the performance of teaching staff at state vocational schools in Wajo district; and (3) whether there is a significant influence of principal leadership on the performance of state vocational education staff in Wajo district. The techniques used for data collection are documentation and questionnaires. The total population is 32 public vocational education staff in Wajo district. The collected data were processed using quantitative statistical analysis (percentage) and inferential statistical analysis (product-moment correlation) with a significance level of 5. The results of the data analysis showed that: (1) the leadership of the head of education at SMK Negeri in Wajo Regency is in a good category; (2) the performance of the State Vocational High School teaching staff in Wajo Regency is in the medium category; and (3) there is a significant influence of the principal's leadership on the performance of the State Vocational High School education staff in Wajo Regency.

<p>This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of the transformational leadership of school principals, work environment, and school culture on the performance of teachers in Nisam Antara District. This research was conducted in the Nisam Antara sub-district in November 2022. The population in this study were junior high school teachers in the Nisam Antara sub-district. The number of samples in this study amounted to 68 people from three junior high schools in Nisam Antara District. The sample in this study used a saturated sampling technique. Data was collected using multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis show that the principal's transformational leadership, the work environment and school culture together influence teacher performance. The Role of Perceived Servant Leadership in Schools in Predicting Loyalty to Supervisor

<p style="text-align: justify;">Focusing on servant leadership and its outcomes are considered fairly essential in terms of its contribution to the literature. This study seeks to determine the relationships between the servant leadership of school principals and the loyalty of teachers to their principals and the constructs of loyalty to supervisors. Secondary school teachers working in Diyarbakır constitute the population of the study. 26 secondary schools were randomly selected from Diyarbakır province and the scales were applied to the teachers working in these schools. The sample consists of 202 teachers. The data were obtained with servant leadership and loyalty to supervisor scales. Validity and reliability analyzes were performed on the scales to determine whether the scales were valid and reliable or not. While analysing the data, descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression analyzes were used, respectively. It was found that the variables examined in the study had a positive and significant relationship. Regression analysis findings revealed that servant leadership predicted loyalty to supervisors and the constructs of loyalty to supervisors (dedication, extra effort, attachment, identification, and internalization) in a statistically significant way. School principals wishing to establish a sense of loyalty in schools are recommended to be aware of the positive role of servant leadership on psychological mechanisms and to have speeches and actions compatible with this type of leadership.</p>

The Correlation Between Principal Leadership, Subordinate Maturity and Achievement Motivation with Teacher Job Stress at Public Elementary Schools, Bukit Batu District, Palangkaraya

The purpose of this study was to analyze the direct and indirect correlation between principal leadership, subordinate maturity and achievement motivation with the work-related stress of public teachers at Bukit Batu District, Palangkaraya. The researchers used a correlational method with a quantitative approach which was formulated into a path analysis model. The study population of this study consisted of 171 teachers from 16 elementary schools in Bukit Batu District and 119 respondents were taken as the research sample using the proportional sampling technique. The researchers used a questionnaire to collect the data. The data analysis used was descriptive analysis, classic assumption test, hypothesis testing and path analysis. The results of the analysis of the regression coefficient value of the principal leadership variable (X1) and work-related stress (Y) are -0.253, school principal leadership (X2) and achievement motivation (Z) are 0.264, subordinate maturity (X2) and work-related stress (Y) are - 0.342, subordinate maturity (X2) and achievement motivation (Z) of 0.596, achievement motivation (Z) and work-related stress (Y) of -0.288, principal leadership (X1) and work-related stress (Y) through achievement motivation (Z) of -0.076 and maturity of subordinates (X2) and work-related stress (Y) through achievement motivation of -0.157. The conclusions of this study is a description of the principal's leadership in the high category, subordinate maturity, achievement motivation and workrelated stress of SDN teachers in Bukit Batu District in the medium category. There is a significant direct correlation between principal leadership, subordinate maturity and achievement motivation with teacher work-related stress. There is an indirect correlation between principal leadership and subordinate maturity with teacher stress through achievement motivation at SDN Bukit Batu District, Palangkaraya.

Leadership of School Principals to Improving Teacher Professionalism at Muhammadiyah School

The principal's leadership increases teachers' work motivation and improves education quality. The study examined the principal's leadership in improving teacher professionalism at SD Nitikan Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. This qualitative descriptive research uses interviews, observation, and documentation. This study involved the principal and 25 teachers as informants. The principal's strategy to improve the quality and professionalism of teachers is to motivate, encourage, and organize training on IT development, reward, and punishment. Principals must also meet content, process, graduation capacity, facilities and infrastructure, management, funding, teacher and staff, and teacher education standards. Supporting factors provide teachers with equal opportunities to develop their pedagogical and professional skills through teaching and training activities based on knowledge and adapted to needs and budgets. Lack of internal motivation from teaching priorities is a barrier. This research contributes to the development of Islamic education by analyzing principals' efforts to increase teachers' professional capacity in Islamic schools.

Academic Supervision and Principal’s Leadership Influence on Teacher’s Performance During a Pandemic

Academic supervision is a type of self-evaluation used to maximize educational implementation, which is also supported by the leadership of competent school principals. As a result, the purpose of this study was to describe the impact of academic supervision and principal’s leadership on teacher performance. This study's execution is based on quantitative research methodologies. The data was examined proportionately using data from surveys, observations, and documents. The study's findings revealed a positive and significant effect of academic supervision on teacher performance; a positive and significant influence of principal leadership on teacher performance; and, in simultaneous testing, a positive and significant effect of academic supervision and principal leadership combined on teacher performance during the pandemic at SD Negeri Madang Suku III District. The effect of the two independent factors on the dependent variable is categorized as modest.

The research method is a survey with a quantitative approach. The population in the study were all teachers and school principals in North Batukliang District, Central Lombok Regency, which amounted to 138 people who were civil servants. This research is motivated by the findings of a lack of innovative leadership management in school principals at the early childhood education level. The purpose of this study is to describe innovative leadership management in primary school education in the perspective of independent learning in the new normal era in Singaraja City. Using quantitative descriptive research methods. The data sources consist of 38 school principals. The results showed that the innovative leadership of school principals in Singaraja City was in the good category. The novelty found in this research is that future school principals must have a more revolutionary spirit able to accept and implement changes through the vision, mission, and goals to develop the school. The Correlation between Principal Transformational Leadership, Work Ethic, And Work Motivation on Teacher Performance at State Junior High Schools in Banjarmasin Timur

Performance is the process of doing a job seen from the skills, abilities or competencies used to achieve the level of success in carrying out tasks. It is also the ability to achieve goals that have been set. Meanwhile, work achievements are goals that have been achieved by someone. Teacher performance is a determining factor in achieving educational goals. This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect effect of the principal transformational leadership, work ethic and work motivation on teacher performance. This research study uses a descriptive correlational research with path analysis. The research sample was 149 people. Data collection was carried out using an instrument consisting of transformational leadership of school principals as many as 36 items, 40 items for work ethic aspect, and 43 items work motivation which have been tested for validity and reliability using a correlation test while teacher performance is measured through PKG. The research data were analyzed using path analysis to find the direct and indirect effects between variables by first conducting the normality, linearity, and homogeneity tests. The results showed that there were direct and indirect effects between the principal transformational leadership, work ethic , and work motivation on teacher performance.

The Role Of Leadership Principles In Increasing Teacher Performance At Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Madrasah, Kutai Kartanegara Regency

Introduction: Efforts to improve teacher performance are influenced by the leadership of school principals in carrying out their duties and responsibilities as leaders in schools. The principal is responsible for managing school resources, especially those related to human resources, such as education staff. Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Kutai Kartanegara Regency. Methods: The method used in this research is a qualitative field research method. Data collection tools using documentation, interviews, and observations. The technique of guaranteeing the validity of the data uses triangulation. Results: Based on the results of the study, it is known that the leadership role of the principal in improving teacher performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Kutai Kartanegara Regency is carried out in the form of responding to the school's vision and mission, instructions or information regarding teacher duties, giving encouragement and commitment to teaching duties, increasing professionalism teachers, supervision in improving teacher performance. Madrasah teachers show good performance in aspects of learning planning and aspects of classroom management. While in the aspect of using methods, media, and learning resources, teachers' performance, in this case, still needs to improve because they are less creative in using learning methods and media that encourage students to learn actively. Conclusion: Based on the results of the research and discussion that have been described, it can be concluded as follows: The role of principal leadership in improving teacher performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Kutai Kartanegara Regency, teacher performance, inhibiting factors, and supporting factors for the role of principal leadership in improving teacher performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri
